The socialite arrived in the Indian state with her boyfriend, River Viiperi, in the early hours of Thursday morning  and has been very impressed by the idyllic landscape.

In a series of twitter posts, she wrote: "#YES! After a very long journey, we've finally arrived in Goa! Can't wait to get to the hotel to shower and sleep. So exhausted!

"So happy! In Paradise with @RiverViiperi in a beautiful villa on the water. So peaceful here, such a magical feeling. Feel so blessed.

"Loving Goa with @RiverViiperi. How beautiful is it here? #India #MagicalParadise (sic)"

She also tweeted a picture of her and 21-year-old model Viiperi on a lawn next to a hammock.
It seems River was in a romantic mood after touching down too, as he tweeted: "#LovingLife with the most beautiful girl in the world. (sic)"

Paris, 31, and River's trip to India has been a long one, as they flew from the US to Dubai - a 16 hour flight - then on to Mumbai, India's largest city, before finally getting a connecting flight to Goa.

Paris is in the state as she is DJing at the India Resort Fashion Week.

The 56-year-old actor teamed up with Mending Kids International - which performs life-saving surgeries for children - and treated a 10 and an 11-year-old girl from Honduras to the A-list lifestyle in Hollywood hotspot the Grove.

Mel took the two girls - who have both had extensive facial reconstruction surgeries - out for a gourmet lunch, followed by ice-cream, and a spot of window shopping before whisking them off to the high-end American Girl doll store where they were able to create their own lookalike dolls.

Speaking about the day out, Mel told TMZ: "It was really fun spending time with Karol and Sara ... They have been through so much and are just so inspirational to everyone who meets them.

"At home, these girls couldn't leave their homes for fear of being tormented. Now, they are walking through one of the most popular tourist areas of Los Angeles."

The charitable star is further pledging his commitment to the organisation by participating in the Mending Kids celebrity poker tournament this weekend in West Hollywood.

Mel is seemingly trying to improve his image after his reputation was tarnished by assault claims made by his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

The 'Braveheart' star was sentenced in March 2011 to three years' probation - including a 12-month domestic violence counselling programme - over the attack on Oksana, who is the mother of his daughter Lucia.

The 26-year-old actress was reportedly involved in an altercation at Club Avenue in New York City leading to her being taken into custody by police at 4am on Thursday.

The incident reportedly took place between the 'Liz & Dick' star and another female who was at the venue, after they had argued verbally.

Officers told gossip website TMZ words were exchanged between Lindsay and a woman in another booth at the club. The former Disney starlet reportedly said something to the effect of, "give me my space". Some time passed before Lindsay then allegedly hit the girl. Lindsay is believed to still be in custody.

Lindsay's legal history is lengthy, with a 2007 arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) in California starting a chain of events leading to rehab, jail and further charges including theft of a necklace.

Lindsay finally completed probation in March this year, but has since run into further problems and could faces charges of lying to police after a June car accident near on the Pacific Coast Highway near Los Angeles. She told officers she was a passenger in the car involved, when she is believed to have been driving.

The 'Liz & Dick' actress got a warm welcome from fans of the 'As Long As You Love Me' singer and support act The Wanted and took to twitter to thank everyone.

Lindsay's night out at the concert comes after it was revealed she is planning to ignore all of the negative criticism  she recently received for her portrayal of Dame Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime TV biopic 'Liz & Dick'.

A source said: "She thought it was great and she had a good time filming and working on the project. Everybody is a critic and she really doesn't care what anybody says about the movie, at least the negative comments.

Following her foray into TV, Lindsay is reportedly hoping to star in her own comedy series after getting advice from Charlie Sheen.

A source said: "Lindsay has asked her manager and agent to look into getting her own television sitcom.

"Lindsay feels that the small screen would be a great way for her to revitalize her acting career and that a comedy would be the best bet. Lindsay feels most comfortable doing comedy and it was Charlie Sheen that told her she should do it. The Backstreet Boys singer and his wife Rochelle Karidis welcomed daughter Ava Jaymes into the world on Tuesday and the whole family are doing well.

A.J. told In Touch magazine: “We are all doing well and are thrilled to welcome Ava into the world.”

 The singer recently revealed how excited he is about his first Christmas as a father.

He told BANG Showbiz: "Me about to be a father is going to be the best Christmas memory I think I'm ever going to have. We're due any day now and we're so ready for it.

"I'll probably be changing diapers all over Christmas and I cannot wait. We'll be here in Los Angeles, and my wife' family are flying out. Finally Christmas is going to be at my house. The 'Elf' actor was celebrating the holiday last Thursday with his family - including wife Viveca Paulin and children Magnus, eight, Mattias, six, and two-year-old Axel - in Needham, Massachusetts, when one of the children discovered a fire had broken out in the garage.

Relatives were so shocked that they immediately called the local fire department to put the flames out, who raced to the scene and restored harmony.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that there were no injuries or major damage, and that Will was extremely friendly with the firefighters - posing for photos and making jokes with them to make their Thanksgiving shift more pleasant.

The pop manager - who is a judge on the 'The X Factor' UK - thinks the 'Skyfall' singer should be working on a new album rather than tending to her son, who was born last month, so she can

In an interview with the new issue of Q magazine, he said: "If I had someone like Adele, no way would she not be working now. Fine, have a baby, but then get back out there before they forget who you are! She'd be on every other TV show and there'd be another album ready. Work the room! That's my philosophy."

Louis, 60, also thinks he could have helped save Amy Winehouse, who died in July 2011 at the age of just 27 from accidental alcohol poisoning.

Following Max George and Zayn Malik's feud on twitter - which culminated in the 'Little Things' singer calling infamous lothario Max "Chlamydia boy" - The Wanted star has invited his chart rival to confront their issues when they come face-to-face at a concert in the States.

Speaking backstage at the Detroit Jingle Bell Ball, Max told Channel 955: "I'm not sure what his problem is to be honest. It started off that I thought we were just having a bit of banter, but he seemed to get a bit serious.

"I tried to palm it off as being friendly again, but you can only take so many insults and eventually I just said, 'Alright listen - if you've got a problem, come and see me in New York when we're there doing a gig together and we'll sort it out'."

Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin, 40, was taken away in handcuffs from a Lower Manhattan court in New York on Tuesday after it was revealed she had been tweeting about the ’30 Rock’ actor and his wife Hilaria Baldwin.

One tweet sent on November 8, which she tagged Hilaria in, said: "How Hilaria Baldwin beZEN, peaceful yogi, Alec Baldwin keep my INJUSTICE+break my life? (sic)".

Her lawyer Maurice Sercarz, also quit after revealing she owes him money and has not been taking his advice.

According to the New York Post, he told the judge: "Miss Sabourin feels it is a good idea to Tweet, to appear on television and discuss the case in the media contrary to my advice.”

 Genevieve also claimed she was being unfairly punished, saying: “I've been vilified around the world more than is possible to handle in this case.

"I'm being treated like a guilty person. This has destroyed my life.”

She was taken to the 20th Precinct for processing and will return to the Lower Manhattan courthouse for booking and arraignment on new charges.

The actor – who was fired from the show after a furious bust up with creator Chuck Lorre – made the claim after Angus T. Jones (Jake Harper) urged people to stop watching the sitcom because it is “filth”.

Charlie told People magazine: “With Angus’ Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear tome that the show is cursed.

In a new video to promote Forerunner Christian Church, 19-year-old Angus, who earns a whopping $350,000 for each episode, rants for 14 minutes about why he doesn't want to be in the show and reasons why others shouldn't tune in.

He said: "If you watch 'Two and a Half Men', please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men'. I'm on 'Two and a Half Men'. I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth, please."

Angus also claimed the show is created by "the enemy" and people were being brain-washed into watching it.

He continued: "People say it's just entertainment. The fact that it's entertainment - do some research on the effects of television and your brain and I promise you, you'll have a decision to make when it comes to the television and especially with what you watch on the television. It's bad news.

"A lot of people don't like to think about how deceptive the enemy is. He's been doing this for a lot longer than any of us have been around, so, we can't play around."

No engagement for Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki despite online rumors

World number one golf pro Rory McIlroy and his tennis sweetie Caroline Wozniacki are not engaged – though one couldn’t be faulted for thinking that perhaps a big announcement might be in the pipeline.

On Monday, someone named Sascha Bajin, best known at the practice partner of Serena Williams, tweeted that Caroline and Rory became engaged. Caroline, though, wasn’t impressed.

“Can’t believe you started rumors like that!” she tweeted back. “Not engaged yet, but you’ll be the first to know if we do!;)”

To which Sascha replied, “I already bought a wedding gift. And you know I would never start rumors. Some birdie told me a lie I guess lol.”

Wozniacki, 22, Rory’s girl for more than a year, was traveling with him last week in Dubai for his last tournament of the year which he won, putting lots of daylight on the PGA tour between him and his closest competitors.  Woz sat in on one of Rory’s press conferences and put on a reporter’s hat to ask what she was getting for Christmas.

“You obviously have unbelievable support this week. So, you know, if you win this week, am I going to get a really nice Christmas present, and what am I going to get?” Wozniacki asked.

Public displays of icki-ness like this are always kind of lame, but Rory, only 23, played along anyway.

The 'Dead Accounts' Broadway star - who split from 'Mission Impossible' actor Tom Cruise in June after six years of marriage and has sole custody of their six-year-old daughter - is said to have agreed that Suri will spend the festive season with her after she spent Thanksgiving with him in London last week.

A source told the MailOnline: "Katie and Tom are focused on Suri and as part of their divorce agreement, Suri will spend Christmas with Katie.

"They are trying to be amicable and Tom will see Suri over the holidays - but on Christmas, Suri will be with Katie and her family."

The little girl was spotted back at her New York school on Monday after spending last week in England with Tom, who has been shooting a movie there and prior to last week's visit hadn't seen her for three months.

A source told the Daily Mirror that Tom hired four guards to protect Suri and treated her to a day at the Harry Potter World theme park in Hertfordshire on Friday.

Katie, 33, spent the holiday with her own family in her native Ohio.

She previously opened up about her plans, saying: "We have Thursday off, so I'm going to have a chance to go home with my family.

"My sister makes a really good sausage stuffing and my mom makes a great turkey. Many years ago, my dad started this tradition where we all do this run in the local park.

Writing on her twitter page today (26.11.12), the 26-year-old singer voiced her support for Lindsay's comeback, saying: "You did a beautiful job on 'Liz & Dick', Let no one bring u down, Liz didnt, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs (sic)".

Lindsay and Lady Gaga have been good friends for some time and enjoyed a slumber party with singer Lana Del Rey at the Chateau Marmont in July where they apparently spent the evening together "watching old movies and playing board games."

Lindsay - whose probation is tipped to be revoked in the near future after she allegedly lied about being behind the wheel of a car during an accident in June - has received mixed reviews for her performance in the Lifetime movie including lots of negative feedback from her Hollywood peers.

According to gossip website RadarOnline.com, the 29-year-old actress revealed at a screening for the movie in New York on she was initially terrified to look in the mirror after cutting her hair but was comforted to see a familiar face.

She said: "When I eventually looked in the mirror, I just thought I looked like my gay brother."

But it seems the actress now loves her new shorter hair as she recently told the December issue of Vogue magazine that she plans to keep it.

She said: "I love the short-haired lifestyle. I'm turning 30, and -- I hope this isn't obnoxious to say -- I feel prettier, and much more myself. I guess I just feel much more satisfied with less now."

The newlywed actress previously said she thought getting her tresses trimmed for her role of Fantine in Tom Hooper's forthcoming big-screen adaptation was "terrifying" compared to some of the stunts she has to do in her portrayal of Catwoman in 'The Dark Knight Rises'.

She said: "It was terrifying. I didn't expect it because in this film ['The Dark Knight Rises'], I do backflips out of windows, I jump off of buildings, I do all sorts of scary things but nothing was as scary as cutting my hair off.

According to the Examiner, it all started when Zayn Mailik called Max George of The Wanted a "geek."

George then tweeted a photo of singer PSY, writing: “Psy and me getting messy #geekandproud.”

Zayn Malik then tweeted:

“The first step is totally acceptance. #geekoftheweek. You display just how much of a wannabe you are.)”

Max then replied:

“That’s not very nice, @ZaynMalik. I was just starting to like you and your RnB songs, too.”

Tom Parker of The Wanted went on to say: “Zayn Malik had his '1 Stripes' knickers in a twist, bro.”

Malik retaliated later, tweeting:

“Mate, if I had a face like yours, my hair would be the last thing I would worry about. : )”

“Pipe down bad boy,” was the response.

The Wanted have reportedly said before that the One Direction band members were not very kind.

One Direction recently opened up about their new video "Little Things" which is a simple black and white clip filmed while they were in the studio.

"It was real nice for us actually because most of the video shoots we do we have to get an early night before cause we know we are going to be so energetic and jumping around a lot," Harry Styles told MTV News. "And this was kind of nice because we just sat there."

Zayn Malik added, "We had a chilled-out day in the studio, and they filmed us chilling out."

Apparently the hardest part of the shoot was making all those romantic swoon faces while singing the lyrics. So how do they get into the mood?

"I think you just get into the song and think about the lyrics and what it means to you," Malik admitted. "You might be looking out at the camera, but you might be thinking about something else. You're not thinking that millions of people are going to watch this, you're just into the song, into the lyrics, you're just feeling what the song is about."

The boys do admit they like to make fun of each other's swoon faces.

"When it's on the screen we take pictures of the screen," Harry Styles said. "We have a really good one, I think I have a picture of Liam."

Liam Payne added, "There's one point in the video where Louis pointed out to me and I didn't realize, but from the angle of the camera ... it looks like I've gone (cross-eyed). The funniest thing is they didn't tell me until they actually cut the video."

The 43-year-old actor - who sparked concern after he recently dropped 38 pounds from his already lean frame for his role as an AIDS patient in the new movie 'The Dallas Buyer's Club' - revealed his gruelling diet has taken a toll and he can't wait to eat a cheeseburger.

The father-of-two - whose wife Camilla Alves is pregnant with their third child, told Hitfix: "Overall, [I've] probably got 35 percent less energy, but there's been plateaus. Getting past 170 was really hard, but then once you get [to] 167 the next seven come off easy.

"Got down to 143 and that's where I want to be. So, once you get past the plateau, your body seems to understand, 'OK, this is where we're leaving now, this is where we are' and so the energy rises.

"Your organs [and] muscles shrink, your organs shrink [and] my stomach has shrunk as well."

The actor also revealed that he lost most of the weight through dieting.

He said: "I'm doing cardio but I'll tell you what, the more I've learned is - and I think it comes with age too - is it's 90 percent diet. It's a matter of how much I eat or how little I eat."

He admits he can't wait to tuck into a gourmet burger once as soon as possible.

He said: "I will have some 70 percent beef, 30 percent fat ground beef, maybe a half-pound cheeseburger with another three types of cheese. I'm going to have buns with butter on both sides, toasted and grilled.

"And then I'm just going to sit back and let the [expletive] just drop on the ground."

However, insiders believe that Harry, 18, won't be too impressed with her plan.

The six year old has been living in New York with her mother Katie Holmes since her parents divorced earlier this year and hasn’t seen her dad since July as he has been filming ‘All You Need Is Kill’ in London but reportedly flew to the UK capital to spend the holiday with him.

Meanwhile, Katie, 33, who has the day off from her Broadway play ‘Dead Accounts’ is in her native Ohio spending the holiday with her family.

Explaining her holiday plans recently, she said: “We have Thursday off, so I’m going to have a chance to go home with my family.

“My sister makes a really good sausage stuffing and my mom makes a great turkey.

“Many years ago, my dad started this tradition where we all do this run in the local park.

“It's a three mile run called the Turkey Trot. There's even a prize, which I haven't won yet. But it's really fun.”

The vehicle's description on eBay read: "Harry Styles of One Direction bought this stunning car for his mum Anne as a Mother's Day present in 2011.

"The lucky winner can have the car handed over by Anne who will be delighted to meet the new owner.
"The car is located at my garage and not at Anne's house, so please do not come here expecting to see Anne.

The motor was snapped up last Thursday (15.11.12) by a woman from Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England, but Anne ensured she wasn't inundated by messages from fans of her 18-year-old son by passing the control of the sale over to her car dealer friend Dave, who sold Harry a Range Rover earlier this year.
Dave, who has known Harry since he was a youngster, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was a woman from Newcastle who bought it. I think Harry's name caught her eye. "Anne will be meeting her when she comes down to pick it up."

While Dave insisted he wouldn't deal with "time wasters", Harry's sister Gemma revealed there were a few "worrying" bids from confused fans. She wrote on twitter: "Several worrying responses. You do know it's illegal to sell people?"
