Colin Farrell is just one of many celebrities who has offered Charlie Sheen support in the wake of him being dropped from the current season of “Two and a Half Men”.

Sheen told NBC today that the Irish star had called around to the actor’s house to offer his support.

In another bizarre move, after been dropped from the popular show Charlie Sheen took a wander down to his local tattoo parlor for his latest tattoo, in honor of his father Martin.

Charlie got the words “Death from Above” etched on his chest, underneath is an apple and a single drop of blood.

The troubled actor explained its significance during a radio interview on the Alex Jones Show.

"[It’s] the banner from the death card that Kilgore [from Apocalypse Now] is throwing on his victims, but there’s also falling from it, is the apple from The Giving Tree.

"There’s my life. Deal with it. Oh wait, can’t process it? Losers. Winning. Buh bye," he said.

In his latest explosive interview with NBC’s Today show the actor demanded a 50 percent pay rise.

“I’m a man of my word. So I will finish the TV show, I will even do season ten, but it’s at this point because of psychological distress, oh my God, it’s three mil an episode, take it or leave it.

Sheen says he wants a raise from his two million an episode salary “because of the pain they put me through”.

“If you look at the money they are making it’s ridiculous, I'm tired of pretending I'm not special,” he added.

When asked if he was clean, a disheveled Sheen replied: “Look at me d’oh, drug tests don’t lie.

When asked when was the last time he did drugs Sheen responded “Don’t remember, don’t care, drug tests don’t lie.

Sheen was asked how he has managed to rid himself of addiction, to which he replied that he had “closed his eyes and made it so, with the power of my mind”

“I’m not angry, I’m passionate. Everyone thinks I should be begging for my job back but I am going to forewarn them, that it’s going to be everyone else that is going to be begging me for their job back,” he said.

Charlie Sheen chooses which days to stay sober

The actor was hospitalised last month following a drink and drugs binge at a party, and his continued erratic conduct has recently seen production on his show ‘Two And A Half Men’ halted, but the TV star says accusations he is an addict are unfounded.

When asked in an interview with RadarOnline.com if he felt he was addicted to anything, he replied: “No. No, I don't, because that's a word and a thing that they tried to stick on me for 22 years.

“I don't know, I don't care [what addiction is], I just know it's not a part of my brain today.”

After passing drug tests, Charlie, was asked why he decided to be clean for the interview, to which he replied:

“It's just a choice I'm making today. Just a choice. I feel better. I got bored with those other things. It was time to do something different and I had this epiphanous moment of, ‘I'm 45 with 5 kids,’ and it was time to explore some different realities. (sic)”

When asked if he will be staying clean for the long term, Charlie added: “I don't know. We're not there yet, I'm just right here, right now. Yeah, I have no interest in it.”

Charlie also responded to comments by his father, ‘Apocalypse Now’ actor Martin Sheen, comparing his battles with alcohol and substance abuse to cancer.

He said: “Jeez, dad - shut it ... OK, pop, walk through a cancer ward right now and find any of those motherf***ers who look like me. Sounds poetic but it's rooted in bo*****s”

Charlie had been receiving a home rehab programme for drink and drug abuse at his home in Los Angeles. He also claimed last week he had freed himself from the "troll hole" of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

The ‘Fighter’ actress wore a Cartier platinum and diamond Haute Joaillerie secret watch bracelet, which was worth over $1 million, teamed with 2-carat diamond stud earrings, worth $35,000, and a Cartier platinum and diamond necklace with a carved 33.24-carat emerald, worth approximately $290,000.

The dazzling bracelet was adorned with a 30.75-carat carved emerald and 575 diamonds.

Unfortunately, there was one accessory Amy didn’t get to compliment her jewellery with, in the shape of a trophy, as she lost out to Melissa Leo in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Amy – who wore a L'Wren Scott cap-sleeved gown - admitted she had put a lot of thought, time and effort into her outfit for the event.

Speaking on the red carpet beforehand, she said: “I haven’t even thought about the winning. I’ve just really, really mostly thought about the red carpet up to this point.”

After the ceremony, which was held at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre, Amy was planning to go out to celebrate, but didn’t intend to be out all night because she had to be home for her nine-month-old daughter, Aviana.

The 36-year-old star – who is engaged to actor Darren Le Gallo - added to ‘Access Hollywood’: “I’ll go out. Aviana will be asleep by then, so I don’t feel too bad. But I can’t stay out too late - she gets up at about 6 o’clock in the morning. I’ll get up with her. She’s so hard to resist. Really!”

Amy wasn’t the only star to impress in the fashion stakes on the red carpet. Singer Celine Dion looked amazing in a Giorgio Armani Prive gown, while Best Actress winner Natalie Portman wore a plum coloured Rodarte silk gown which flattered her baby bump.

Show host Anne Hathaway – who controlled proceedings with James Franco - made an incredible eight costume changes during the evening, wearing dresses by Valentino, Givenchy Haute Couture, Riccardo Tisci, Oscar de la Renta, Atelier Versace, Giorgio Armani Prive, Tom Ford and Vivienne Westwood.

The ‘King’s Speech’ was the big winner at the 83rd Academy Awards picking up four gongs - Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Director for Tom Hooper and Best Actor for Colin Firth.

The actress - who completed a court-ordered 90-day rehab stint last month and is currently awaiting trial over the alleged theft of a $2,500 necklace – is reportedly "struggling" to find work after her recent troubles.

American photographer Terry Richardson has now persuaded the 24-year-old star – alongside her former love interest James Franco – to appear in the publication, which will feature "full frontal nudity" and "graphic" shots.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lindsay is struggling to get another break in Hollywood. There's a stigma attached to working with her and she is determined to change this – starting with the photographic book.

"Terry Richardson has persuaded Lindsay and James to get involved. He has assured them it will be provocative but tasteful. There will be a lot of nakedness – some of it graphic and suggestive – but it will be a real statement book.


"Obviously there will be comparisons to Madonna's 1992 ‘Sex’ book. But James and Lindsay believe theirs will be classier."

Meanwhile, the 'Mean Girls' star will also be giving an exclusive tell-all TV interview to talk show host David Letterman in April in the hope of rebuilding her damaged reputation.

The source added: "Lindsay wants people to see the real her, not this drunken, out of control caricature she has become."

Lindsay is currently on probation for driving under the influence (DUI) in 2007 after spending 14 days of a 90-day jail sentence behind bars in July 2010.

'The Fighter' Irish boxer beats British King-"The King's Speech' - so far in Oscar race

'The Fighter', the movie about boxer Irish Mickey Ward, has won the first two big Oscars of the night at the Academy Awards.

Best supporting actress went to Melissa Leo while Christian Bale (pictured with Mark Wahlberg) won best supporting actor.

The wins by the two actors were somewhat of a surprise as there has been little buzz about 'The Fighter' as a major Oscar contender, certainly far less than 'The King's Speech' and 'The Social Network'

The gritty life of Mickey Ward , growing up in Lowell, a working class suburb of Boston, seems a million miles form the rarefied existence of the Royal family in England, portrayed in The King's Speech.'

But so far the underdog is wining the battle at The Oscars just like Mickey Ward did so many times.

Charlie Sheen claims he is going to launch a new TV show on HBO

The troubled actor – who found out Friday the last four episodes of the current season had been cancelled following his recent behaviour and personal attack on the show’s creator Chuck Lorre – says he is in talks to appear in his own 30-minute programme entitled ‘Sheen’s Corner.'

He told RadarOnline.com: “I’m close to securing a deal with HBO for a 10-show guarantee. It will be epic, all types of guests and we will focus on the truth and the absurd!”

If the show gets the green light, Charlie would earn a reputed $5 million per episode, however, HBO are yet to validate his claims.

The hellraising star – who has been receiving home rehab treatment for alcohol and drug abuse – has also revealed he intends to show up for work on ‘Two and a Half Men’, despite the decision to halt production by CBS.

In a text message to ABC show 'Good Morning America’, Charlie – who is currently on vacation in the Bahamas - insisted he is “100 per cent” sober and is planning to head to the set next week.
He also branded the decision to cancel the remaining episodes as “crazy” and “sad."

CBS made the decision to axe ‘Two and a Half Men’ after Charlie – who has been on hiatus because of his drink and drug problems - gave a radio interview in which he dared them to stop the show and branded Chuck a “turd."

In a statement, Warner Bros. Television and broadcaster CBS said: "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production on 'Two and a Half Men' for the remainder of the season."

Charlie then hit back in an open letter in which he continued to insult Chuck and also referred to his by his Hebrew name – leading to accusations of anti-Semitism.

n the letter, he said: "What does this say about Haim Levine [Chuck Lorre] after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me. I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows ... I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can't handle my power and can't handle the truth. I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words - imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists.”

The 24-year-old heartthrob says friends refuse to visit him when filming in remote locations, so he’s adopted a four-legged friend for company instead.

He said: "I know it's sad. A lot of actors have a bunch of people who kind of just go up and stay with them for like two months, like an entourage. But my friends, their egos are too big.

“They'd be like, 'I'm not part of your entourage. I'll stay in a free hotel for a bit if it's in New York or Los Angeles but I'm not going to come out to some random town in the sticks.'

“That's kind of why I adopted the puppy. It's from a shelter and he was going to be put down. I only got him two or three days ago."

The British actor – who is dating his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart – also revealed he has taken his new pet overseas with him and joked about naming it after himself.

He told the Daily Record newspaper: "He's been freaked out. It's funny. I got a private plane here from Louisiana, where I was filming 'Twilight', so he came out of the shelter and the next day he's on a private plane. A bit like 'Lady and the Tramp'. I'm going to call him Robert."

The star once admitted a "deep connection" between him and dogs, saying if he had to swap his human form for any other he would choose to become a canine.

He said: "I think I'd be a dog. The lifestyle of a dog has always fascinated me: You sleep, sit around, get stroked, eat and get walked from time to time. That's great!

"There is a deep connection between me and dogs."

Robert Pattinson revealed that he likes to keep all his belongings including his books and clothes even if he has no use for them.

He told the Daily Record: "I'm a hoarder. I gave away all my furniture from [when I lived in] Baton Rouge, but with books and things I have storage spaces all over the world.

"It's ridiculous. Clothes - I cannot give away clothes. I don't know why. I wear the same thing every day and I just have piles and piles and piles of clothes and then every two years, I'll go to the storage space and kind of see what I can give away.

"I give away like three things, search through everything and then pack it all back up and put it in the storage space."

Filming for the final edition of the “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” saga relocated to Vancouver this week.

While some of the cast members got to grips with their set location in North Shore Studios, Pattinson headed about two hours north of the Canadian city to Pemberton to shoot some scenes around the Cullen’s home.

Surrounded by snow capped mountains the British actor looked very cozy and well wrapped up during the shooting.

The cast are due to start filming on Beatty St in Vancouver on March 14. The cast will be shooting the remainder of their interior scenes in the North Shore Studios over the coming weeks.

Film producer David Furnish let slip in a recent interview that the couple are lining up the eccentric singer to play an important role in the life of their two-month-old son, who was born on Christmas Day via a surrogate mother.

When asked about rumours they would choose Gaga by Canadian website macleans.ca, he replied: "We haven’t publicly confirmed that yet but your sources are very good!

“I prefer not to comment on it because we are going to make a statement about Godparents later on."

Elton and Gaga struck up a friendship after performing together at the Grammy Awards in 2010, and David further praised the singer – who composed her latest track ‘Born This Way’ about social inclusion and has called it a “gay anthem” – for her broad-mindedness and personal connection to her fans.

David is a Godparent himself, to Elizabeth Hurley’s eight-year-old son Damian, while Elton is Godfather to Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest two sons, Brooklyn, 11 and eight-year-old Romeo.

According to a source, Charlie bought a Bentley worth $320,000 and a Porsche Turbo costing $150,000 for two adult film star friends.

He also purchased a $160,000 Mercedes-Benz S63 for his new 24-year-old girlfriend and splashed out another $160,000 on a Mercedes-Benz CL 600 for Brooke, with whom he has 23-month-old twins, Bob and Max.

This is not the first time Charlie – who earns $2 million an episode for his TV show ‘Two and a Half Men’ – has splashed the cash for his porn star pals.

Kacey Jordan had sex with Charlie the night he was hospitalised and recently spoke about the aftermath of their wild night, saying: "I had to go, it was already the afternoon the following day he was still going on drugs...

"I called my driver and I was like, 'You need to pick me up now'... he grabbed the cheque book and says 'I'm going to give you $25,000...' and he says 'You know what, I like you, I'm going to give you $30,000.' ”

Friends have also claimed the actor dreams of creating a ‘porn family’ and wants to buy a house close to his own where adult film stars can live.

Charlie – who also has daughters, Sam, six, and Lola, five, with ex-wife Denise Richards ,as well as a grown up daughter Cassandra from a previous relationship - has also offered to buy homes for both his former spouses.

Charlie Sheen has finally done it.

The Two and a Half Men star unleashed a rant reminiscent of Mel Gibson about the creator of his show and barely fell short of anti-Semitism.

Sheen called Chuck Lorre a 'clown" and "a charlatan" but also insisted on referring to him by his clearly Jewish birth name.

"I violently hate Chaim Levine" he told TMZ. " He’s a stupid, stupid little man.” he told the celebrity gossip Web site TMZ.

CBS were quick to finally pull the plug.

It looks like the end of the road for Sheen who is clearly on the verge, if not already in the middle of a nervous breakdown.

It may be the best thing to have him out of the limelight so he can get help.

God knows he needs it.

Martin Sheen says his son Charlie’s battle with substance abuse is like having 'cancer'

The ‘West Wing’ star admits it has been painful to watch the 45-year-old actor – who is currently receiving home rehab treatment for alcohol and drug use - implode in recent months, but he is prepared to support him because he believes addiction is a disease.

The 70-year-old screen icon – who has been in the UK to promote his new film ‘The Way’ - told Sky News: “He's an extraordinary man and he's doing well. We pray for him. If he had cancer how would you treat him?

This disease of addiction is a form of cancer. You have to have an equal measure of concern and love.”

Martin insists he and his wife Janet Templeton are prepared to help their son in any way they can as he attempts to get clean.

He added: “You realise we're not all on the same journey all the time. We have to love that much more. We have to be that much more present.”

The ‘Apocalypse Now’ actor strongly believes Charlie will overcome his demons and admits his dream is to star in another movie with his son when he is completely sober.

Martin – who appeared alongside Charlie in the 1987 film ‘Wall Street’ – said: “That would be another miracle and we'd look forward to it, very much so.”

Charlie’s behaviour in recent months has seen him indulge in drink and drug binges with numerous porn stars and trash a room at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in October following an alcohol and cocaine-fuelled evening with X-rated actress Capri Anderson.

George Clooney says he took “too many drugs” in the past to ever become a politician

The 49-year-old actor – who is a supporter of the Democrat party -doesn’t believe he has lived a clean enough life to be able to run for office.

He told Newsweek magazine: “I didn't live my life in the right way for politics. I slept with too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that's the truth."

Despite his own apparent indiscretions, Clooney doesn’t think a colorful private life should stop people from getting involved in politics.

The Hollywood heartthrob – who is playing a politician in his next movie ‘The Ides of March’ - said: “Just start from the beginning by saying, 'I did it all. I drank the bong water. Now let's talk about issues.’ ”

He jokingly added: “That's going to be my campaign slogan, ‘I drank the bong water.' "

A bong is a type of water-based smoking device usually used to inhale burnt cannabis.

Rather than restrict himself as a politician, George would much rather focus on his humanitarian work, which includes raising awareness of the war in Sudan.

The actor – who has funded a satellite overlooking a region of the North East African country to monitor military movements - said: “I'm not tied to the UN or the US government, and so I don't have the same constraints. I'm a guy with a camera from 480 miles up. I'm the anti-genocide paparazzi."

The 28-year-old actress is set to co-host the ceremony with James Franco on Sunday (27.02.11) but says she wouldn’t feel comfortable poking fun at the nominees and other guests, and also doesn’t feel she has earned the “right” to do so.

She said: “I can guarantee that if you’re looking for someone to call people out, we’re not your hosts. I think that humor is really difficult to pull off, and I’m not particularly adept at it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it.

“Also, I don’t mean to sound overly serious, but I am the youngest host in history and I have no business being cynical or calling anyone out. I certainly haven’t earned the right to do that.”

The ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star also admitted she only accepted the hosting role after James was on board because he eased some of her fears about presenting such a huge live show – though she claims she now worries about other ways the “unconventional” actor can wreak havoc with the format.

She added in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter: “I initially had a knee-jerk reaction, which was ‘no.’ I just focused on all the ways it could go wrong.

“But (show producer) Bruce Cohen was a bit craftier than I had realized because while I was hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ in November, while I was loving the idea of hosting something and doing the song-and-dance thing, Bruce came back and said, ‘We have James Franco.’

“James is so brave and so willing to make unconventional choices. All the ways I was worried about it going wrong, it wouldn’t go wrong in any of those ways. It could go wrong in entirely new ways.”

The 83rd Academy Awards will take place at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

Lindsay Lohan has been told she will be going to jail if she accepts a plea bargain for her grand theft felony charge

The troubled actress appeared at a Los Angeles courthouse today (23.02.11) for a hearing focusing on the accusation she stole a $2,500 necklace from upmarket jewellery store Kamofie & Company, in Venice, California.

Lindsay – who has pleaded not guilty to the charge – was informed by Judge Keith Schwartz she can expect to serve a prison sentence if she accepts the deal offered to her by the District Attorney, details of which were not revealed.

He said: “Miss Lohan there are a couple of things you need to understand so there is absolutely no misunderstandings about anything dealing with this case.

“I never met you before the last court appearance, you never met me. One of the things about me is that I treat everyone the same. I don't care you are Lindsay Lohan versus John Doe or Jane Doe.

“I'm just going to tell you a couple of things that if the case settles in this court will happen. This case does involve jail time. Period. If this case is resolved in front of me - you are going to jail. Period.

“Now there may be an issue as to the amount of time that you go to jail and that's why a judge has discretion in sentencing. But if it settles here I don't want you under any apprehension, you will be going to jail.”


Before the hearing started, the judge met in his chambers with the ‘Machete’ star’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley and prosecutor Danette Meyers to discuss the plea bargain, and admitted he came away with the impression Lindsay was not interested in taking it.

Judge Schwartz set a new court date for March 10 and at that hearing Lindsay must either accept the plea bargain, or plead not guilty or guilty to the grand theft felony charge.

If she pleads not guilty her case will go in front of another judge for a preliminary hearing and then she will face trial over the alleged necklace theft.

The 24-year-old blonde – who is free on $40,000 bail - was also warned by Judge Schwartz if she pleads guilty or no contest to the charge then he could rule that she is in violation of her earlier driving under the influence (DUI) order.

Lindsay has always insisted she never stole the necklace and was told she could borrow the piece of jewellery by the store owners in return for publicity.

The singer-and-actress – who left an unnamed clinic in the US state of Illinois last month after being treated for "emotional and physical issues" – and the actor have been on several dates, including a trip to the cinema as well as doing their weekly food shopping together at Whole Foods.

According to gossip blogger Perez Hilton, Demi, 18, and 31-year-old Wilmer – who has previously dated Lindsay Lohan - have been very affectionate with each other in public and their relationship is growing stronger by the day.

The pair were first linked to each other late last year but couldn’t take things further as Demi checked into rehab soon after.

The Disney star entered the facility voluntarily at the beginning of November after an incident in which she allegedly punched backing dancer Alex Welch.

In December, Demi settled her dispute with the dancer by giving her a sum of money in compensation.

A friend said at the time: "It's not even close to $100,000. Way, way less than $100,000.

"Alex never expressed dissatisfaction with the settlement. I think she was just ready to just move on. She's happy and moving past the situation and moving forward positively."

Demi is now back at home with her family in Los Angeles and last week returned to the recording studio.

Robert Pattinson has once again been recruited for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. The “Twlight” star recently had an elaborate water-side photo shoot with legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz for the upcoming issue of the iconic fashion magazine.

Rumors are rife that the 24-year-old actor was also pictured with an alligator during the fashion shoot, but no photos have been released yet.

Rob had various costume changes and is seen wearing an all black outfit in one of the shots.

The latest reports suggest that Robert will be wearing a hat on the front cover of Vanity Fair’s April issue which is due to be published on March 3.

This will be Robert’s fourth year in succession appearing in Vanity Fair. In 2008 he and the cast members of “Twlight” shot an extended shoot for the publication.

The model-and-actress gave birth to three-year-old John, who is known as ‘Jack’, in August 2007, eight months after she split from the NFL player – who is now married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen, with whom he raises a 14-month-old son Benjamin with.

Despite the complexities of her and Tom’s relationship, Bridget insists everyone works together to give ‘Jack’ the best home life possible.

In an interview with America’s More magazine, she said: “My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it's cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends.
My son is surrounded by love.

“I have never made a comment about Gisele or Tom publicly. I have a relationship with these people on a daily basis."

Although the 39-year-old beauty is happy with her current parenting set-up, she admits she would have preferred to have had a child while in a committed relationship.

She added: “No girl grows up dreaming of being a single mom. But there's not a second I regret having a child on my own.”

Bridget also revealed she is very happy with her new man, ‘Charlie’s Angels’ director McG – real name Joseph McGinty Nichol.

The ‘Blue Bloods’ star – who met the filmmaker on an airplane - said: "He's witty, he's smart, he's incredibly funny, he's got incredible taste, and he comes from a great family.

“He's the salt of the earth but also very successful in the crazy business that we're in. And he and Jack have a great relationship."

Robert Pattinson arrived in style to Vancouver International Airport by a private jet on Monday alongside the cast of  “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”.

Kristen Stewart was reportedly on board the private flight too but managed to dodge photographers before the pair were driven away in separate cars to the Sheraton Wall Center Hotel.

Mackenzie Foy, who plays Renesmee Cullen, the half human- half vampire daughter of Edward and Bella, in the vampire saga also stopped in the airport to sign autographs for fans. The ten year old has already had roles such as Hawaii Five-O and FlashForward.

Michael Lohan has flown to a Florida rehab centre to perform 'interventions'

The father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan – who was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab last year after failing a court-ordered drug test – flew to the Inspirations for Youth and Families clinic to work alongside people living at the facility and also film a commercial to promote it.

He told website RadarOnline.com: “I'm going to be doing interventions. Lindsay is 100 per cent behind what I'm doing and I look forward to this entire journey not only with my family but with the Inspiration youth programme as well."

Michael attempted to stage an “intervention” on Lindsay last April, flying to Los Angeles in a bid to get her to enter rehab, after he believed she was addicted to prescription drugs – prompting an angry reaction from Lindsay who referred to him as her “ex dad” and accused him of ruining his own brain with drugs.

However, the pair later reconciled their differences and Michael – who is also father to Ali, 17, Cody, 14, and 23-year-old Michael Jr. with ex-wife Dina – recently spoke of how proud he is of Lindsay for finally facing up to her substance abuse problem.

He said: "We went to an AA meeting last night then went home and had a quiet night.

"She changed back to the girl she used to be. When she was at her best - literally. She's done a 180 and I'm very proud of her."

The Russian-born singer reportedly revealed to the former ‘James Bond’ star - the father of her 14-year-old son Alexander - that the ‘Braveheart’ star had hit her when he questioned her about bruises on her face.

In a letter to Eric George - the son of California's former chief justice - on June 3, 2010, Oksana stated that both ‘Licence to Kill’ star Timothy and her facialist Mady Shany are willing to testify on her behalf.

While Mel has not yet been charged with assault for the alleged attack last year, prosecutors are said to have a “strong case” to support filing criminal charges against the 55-year-old star and Timothy’s testimony could help.
It is believed the charge is likely to be violence or corporal injury involving a former cohabitant, which can be prosecuted as either a felony or misdemeanour.

A source has previously said: "The District Attorney (DA) has a very strong case, there is a lot of information that the public and Mel Gibson are unaware that the DA has."

Oksana, 40, has claimed Mel punched her in the head at his Malibu home, which knocked two veneers out from her upper front teeth while she held their daughter Lucia, now 15 months.

While Mel has confessed in a written declaration that he slapped her during an argument because she was hysterical, he denies hitting her. He was however caught on audio tape calling Oksana a "fickle ****" and telling her she should go “f**k” Timothy.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Once Charlie talked to Brooke about his idea, it just made perfect sense to her. Brooke wants to help Charlie in his path to sobriety, and having the boys closer, can only help him."

"She is planning on taking Charlie up on his very generous offer. Brooke thinks it’s a great idea because Charlie can see their twin sons on a daily basis. It's much easier for Charlie to visit the twins if he is neighbors with Brooke.

"Even though they live less than 15 miles away from each other, traffic in LA is notorious, and at times it can take up to an hour one way. Brooke is very impressed with Charlie's actions, and very thankful to him for the very generous offer.”

A photographer told website X17Online: "Charlie seemed rested and happy to be back at work. He posed for us with his girlfriend; he was kind of showing her off."

Meanwhile Charlie’s father Martin Sheen revealed he is trying to help his son “with prayer”.

A new behind the scenes interview with Robert Pattinson, carried out by “Entertainment Tonight,” gives a sneak peak at the leading man and his co-star Reese Witherspoon on set.

Pattinson speaks about how amazing the set is. He said, "Almost every single day you can look around the set and see nothing from the modern world."

The movie follows Pattinson's character who runs away with the circus and falls in love with an older woman played by Witherspoon, but unfortunately her husband gets in the way.

During the movie the two leads have some pretty steamy love scenes with each other.

Pattinson said, "Every single time there's a love scene I always seem to get beaten up in the afterwards. I get beaten up about 10 times. That's our most romantic moment -- it ends with me getting beaten up by about 10 guys."

The interview questioned Witherspoon to see if she realized how lucky she was acting as the love interest alongside Pattinson. She said, "I know. I'm so lucky and he's so amazing."

During the report Oscar winner Witherspoon is seen riding an elephant. She admitted elephants are not the most comfortable way to travel.

"I trained for three months on her but I was always wearing jeans so then when I actually showed up and I had to wear a little leotard and tights with her I was like 'Ouch'. It was like being stabbed by little needles,” she said.

Kristen Stewart, who plays the much loved "Twilight" character Bella Swan has been spotted wearing a bandage on her arm at the an airport. It seems that Stewart hurt her arm on the set of "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

She was snapped by paparazzi at LAX, Los Angeles airport with her left hand in bandages.

Some reports claim that Stewart hurt her arm while performing in the fight scenes during the filming of "Breaking Dawn".

Stewart has not released a statement about the injury.

The troubled actor – who has 22-month-old twins Bob and Max with Brooke Mueller and daughters Sam, six and Lola, five, with Denise Richards – is currently looking for two mansions in his exclusive Los Angeles neighbourhood because he wants to spend time with his kids and have them get to know each other.

According to gossip website TMZ, Charlie’ s estate agent is scouting prospective properties and the 45-year-old actor – who also has a 26-year-old daughter Cassandra from a previous relationship with Paula Profit - is willing to pay all costs involved, including moving expenses, in order to see more of his kids.

Charlie and Brooke - who married on May 30, 2008 but have been estranged since a domestic incident on Christmas Day 2009  – reached a divorce settlement earlier this month but their union will not officially be over until May.

Meanwhile, Denise recently revealed she is never shocked by Charlie’s behaviour - including a stay in hospital after a 36-hour drink and drug binge with porn stars – but admitted she struggles to explain the situation to their daughters.

She said: "It doesn't surprise me. I mean, you know this is Charlie's lifestyle. He makes no bones about it. And it is what it is.

"It's a very difficult situation in dealing with the subject. There are times where his life is more colourful than others, more public than others, and as the kids get older it's a difficult thing. I don't know what they fully comprehend. They don't know what some of these things are. So I do the best I can and it's not easy."

The 29-year-old actor admits he was wary of taking on the role of the Marvel superhero and his alter ego Steve Rogers in ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ because proposed sequels and spin-off movie ‘The Avengers’ meant it was such a huge commitment to make, but insists he is ultimately happy with his decision.

He said: “It’s a big commitment. At one point it was nine pictures. We’ve got it down to six, but still, that’s making a decision for a big portion of your life.

“I love acting but there are other things I want to do – I want to write and direct. If the movies do well and they want to exercise all six films, I could be doing this until I’m 40. That’s a crazy thing to try and process.

“I wouldn’t trade this movie at this point for anything. I’m very happy with the decision.”

Chris also admitted he fears the film will be “lousy” and worries about it being a benchmark for the rest of his career.

He told Total Film magazine: “This could be a film I’m wrapped up in for 10 years, but what if it’s a lousy experience, what if I don’t connect, what if it’s something I want to leave in my past and move on from? The hotel heiress threw a bash at V-Moda Fortress, a private house in the Hollywood Hills, on Tuesday night (15.02.11) and an uninvited guest, a Los Angeles musician only known as 'Paz', made off with the special treat.

Paz - who got into the bash through his "well-connected buddy Kevin" - decided to take the three-tiered red cake after realising it wasn't being served to the 300 guests.

In a posting on his Facebook page - accompanied by a picture of the swiped sweet treat in his kitchen - he wrote: "I woke up this morning with a $2,000 birthday cake in my living room. It's big. It's red. It says 'Paris' and its f****** delicious ... At an inebriated moment I decided no one was going to waste $2,000 worth of anything on my watch. I had to rescue that cake."

Paz admits he had to come up with a scheme to get the cake out of the house without any of the security employed to "look for idiots" like him realising what he was doing.

But he managed to convince the head of security that he had been told to remove the desert and was soon in his car with his unusual loot.

He explained: "In one fluid motion, I sidestep a confused waiter, seize the prize, and face to the door. I pass the security chief again on the way out. I nod purposefully ... he nods in return and 40 seconds later I'm in the front seat of a Nissan Maxima with 70lbs of awesome in my lap. Success!"

The cake was made for Paris - who reached the milestone age on Thursday (17.02.11) - by Lucid absinthe and the company are unhappy with Paz's actions.

Jared Gurfein - CEO of Viridian Spirits, the company which makes Lucid - said in a statement: "It is very unfortunate that someone stole the cake from Paris' birthday party. We had the cake designed especially for Paris with Lucid in the batter and a beautiful representation of Lucid's artwork on it, which she had requested to meet the 'Moulin Rouge' theme of the party."

Paris - who was presented with another cake that was adorned with a photograph of her - was joined at the bash by her boyfriend Cy Waits, sister Nicky and parents Rick and Kathy, and a host of other guests including Kathy Griffin.

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker – who attended a strict Catholic girls' school in her teens – admitted she barely had any contact with boys until she was 15 because she was always being lectured about the virtues of abstinence by her school nurse.

She explained: "I went to a Catholic school where the doors were sort of shut and the blinds were pulled down when the nurse came in to talk to us about safe sex and celibacy - it was more of an abstinence conversation than it was about safe sex.

The actor suffered the agonising injury after a set assistant poured water down his wet suit to ward off hypothermia during filming but failed to check the temperature, and director Kevin MacDonald believes his discomfort made the star’s final scenes more believable.

Kevin told Total Film magazine: “In some ways it did me a favour because what I was trying to do in that section was break him down.

“But Channing’s such a bulk and so strong and capable that it’s very hard to make him feel like he’s reached the end.

“He could hardly walk but it was good because it meant that when he was fighting in the final battle he was in pain and couldn’t do it very well.”

Channing described the injury as “unbelievable brutal” but is grateful he wasn’t left with permanent damage.
He said: “There are no words … It was unbelievably brutal.

“There’s no scars or anything. I remember the medic saying, ‘I know it’s no consolation now, but it’s a good thing it hurts because it means there’s no nerve damage.”

The showbiz matriarch insists the troubled actress – who recently completed a court-ordered rehab stint for drug and alcohol abuse – will never be completely free of her demons, but at the moment it’s a battle she is winning.

In an interview with ‘ABC News’ today (18.02.11), Dina said: “I believe that Lindsay doesn't drink anymore, and I think it's gonna be a lifelong struggle with addiction. But I think she's gonna be OK.

"She's a young girl struggling. You know, she's not perfect ... She's learning as she goes, but she's learning under a microscope, so I can't even imagine how that is.”

The 48-year-old TV personality realised Lindsay, 24, was going off the rails when she was just 18 and says her problems began when she moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and got involved with a hard-partying crowd.

She added: “I knew early on, I just didn't tell anyone about it. It was a personal situation … But I never thought it would be like this – that the media would be so crazy. I really never thought it would get to this level. It's been really hard on my family, harder than anything."

Lindsay is currently battling a felony grand theft charge after being accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from Californian jewellery store Kamofie & Company.

Rod Stewart celebrates birth of new son and gives him an Irish name

Rod Stewart became a father for the eighth time on Thursday after his wife Penny Lancaster gave birth to their son Aiden.

The 66-year-old rock star and his wife said they were "proud and thrilled" to announce the "long awaited arrival.” Aiden joins big brother Alastair, who is five years old.

Lancaster and Stewart, who have been together for more than a decade, revealed they were expecting last summer after intensive IVF treatment.

"I couldn’t believe it. I burst into tears. I called Rod when I was still sobbing," Lancaster said.

Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson's costar in the upcoming "Water for Elephants" film, has been gushing over her leading man.

"I am so lucky," she recently told Entertainment Tonight. "He's so amazing and wonderful and sweet and just the nicest guy too, so you can just add that to the soup."

"I mean, he's just so good-looking and he's a really nice person," she gushed.

Pattinson returned the sentiment: "She's great. I think every time where there's a love scene, though, I get beaten up."

This isn't the first time Pattinson has shared the screen with Reese.

In the 2004 film "Vanity Fair," Pattinson played an aged Witherspoon's son.

"It seems like it's been so long ago now," said Pattinson. "I remember even on the set, I thought I looked too old to be her son."

Reese was impressed with Pattinson from the start.

"He was walking down this corridor and I turned to the director and I said, 'That's my son? He's so good looking!'" she remembered. "I was like, 'He's so hot!'"

The heiress celebrated turning 30 last Thursday and reflected on the last decade, saying she is grateful for her ups and downs – which have included winning over the US by starring in reality TV show ‘The Simple Life’ and launching a number of successful business ventures, but also starring in a leaked sex tape, launching a short-lived career as a pop singer and being sent to jail for driving offences – as they have taught her a lot.

She told E! News: “I've had a crazy 20s. I feel like I've really lived life and I've learned so much. Everything happens for a reason. I've had so many life lessons, it's made me the person I am today and I'm very strong."

Paris lists her greatest achievement so far as the success of the brand she has built up around herself, which has seen her launch ventures including a perfume line, shoes, and hair extensions, and lend her name to a number of different products, including a chain of nightclubs and a canned wine drink.

She added: "The thing I feel most accomplished about is the brand that I've built. I have 17 different product lines.”

The heiress – who is currently dating nightclub mogul Cy Waits, who reportedly bought her a bright yellow Lexus LFA sports car for her birthday – celebrated turning the landmark age earlier this week with a 1920s-themed party, and was out again in New York to celebrate her actual birthday Thursday.

She tweeted: “Had an amazing birthday dinner at Asellina restaurant at the Gansevoort Park Hotel. The food was delicious!”

She later updated her page to say she had headed to trendy nightspot Lavo.
