Downton Abbey’s Allen Leech wants One Direction’s Niall Horan to star in PBS period drama

Allen Leech, who plays Tom Branson in the period drama “Downton Abbey,” has joked that One Direction’s Niall Horan would be the perfect person to play his son.

The Dublin actor reckons that the Mullingar popstar should make a cameo in the hit show’s fourth series as the blonde pair look quite similar.

Speaking to MTV Leech joked, “You mean, my son? My son Niall Horan. Absolutely, and then we actually do a musical episode and we get the whole of One Direction in."

“I pitched it to Julian (Fellowes, creator and writer). Weirdly enough, he hasn’t gotten back to my email.”

This bunch of One Direction and “Downton Abbey” fans are behind Leech on this one. Make it happen!

Reports go wild - Is Robert Pattinson marrying Kristen Stewart or dating Jennifer Lawrence?

While the jury is out as to whether or not ‘Twilight’ co-stars and star-crossed lovers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are on-again or off-again, rumors are circulating that the two may be headed down under for some secret nuptials.

But, then again, there are also rumors that Pattinson is shacking up with ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star Jennifer Lawrence!

One “inside” source told Ok! Magazine that Pattinson and Stewart are eyeing a special trip to Australia to tie the knot once and for all.

“They were both overwhelmed by all the hype and pressure surrounding their relationship, plus Kristen also found the actual wedding planning process quite overwhelming.” Thus, the two have apparently decided to bite the bullet and head for the altar!

Right now, Pattinson is in Australia filming his new movie ‘The Rover.’ Stewart is expected to go visit her beau there and "will linger in Oz well after The Rover wraps — perhaps long enough for both a wedding and, possibly, all the way through their honeymoon,” according to this ‘source.’

However, while those rumors are starting to gain traction, a contradictory rumor is also beginning to float around - one that pairs up Pattinson and Lawrence.

Australian magazine Grazia reports, “We can reveal that after struggling to make it work with Kristen Stewart and finally calling it quits on their four-year relationship, Robert Pattinson has set his sights on her rival Jennifer Lawrence.”

"Rob was smitten after he read an interview Jennifer gave referencing Kristen's infidelity scandal, saying she'd never cheat on a boyfriend," a source close to the star says.

"Jen's the hottest thing going in Hollywood right now — she's got the critical praise that's mostly eluded Kristen, she has a clean image with no scandals and she's newly single."

Lawrence reportedly split with English actor Nicholas Hoult just a few weeks ago.

"Rob was advised by family, friends and handlers to shed Kristen and her baggage, saying she's bad for his career," the source added.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum is expecting the couple's first child this summer and when asked how she is coping with her growing pregnancy bump, Channing made the unusual comparison.

He told E! News: "I mean, women just sort of turn into like animals in this sort of stage that they're in.
"She's a complete animal right now! You can ask her, but in the most beautiful like humanistic animal-y way.

You know she works out all of the time, eats right, impeccably right. She's just a machine."
Channing, 32, also revealed he is terrified but excited about the impending birth.

He added: "I mean, I don't think there's one thing that doesn't terrify you, but in the most unbelievably beautiful way. Someone said it's really like watching your heart jump out of your body and run around, and I think that can possibly be the coolest thing that I've heard of."

Meanwhile, Jenna revealed she has been having strange dreams about floating on a magic carpet since getting pregnant, and thinks her elevated hormones are to blame.

In a Twitter post, she explained: "OK my fellow preggars ladies about these hormonal dreams ... Is it normal to fly on a magic carpet while presenting at Golden globes?? Lol. (sic)"

The 32-year-old screen beauty her 'Magic Mike' star spouse on the set of 2006 film 'Step Up' and married him in 2009.

The '30 Rock' star and the 'Extra' TV correspondent - who have been married for seven months - are said to be "so excited" about their news but the couple have only told "really close friends and family" about her pregnancy.

Hilaria's friend told In Touch Weekly magazine: "They are both so excited and Alec is so in love with her.
"She says she is so in love with Alec and he tells all her friends that she is the best thing that has ever happened to him.

"[Hilaria] has not said much to anyone as far as how far along she is. She is so healthy and a yoga freak, so everyone could tell right away something was different. Hilaria has told only really close friends and family she is pregnant, only a close circle she trusts."

Alec's PR company Hiltzik Strategies has refused to either confirm or deny the news of Hilaria's reported pregnancy.

The firm wrote on Twitter: "Part 1 -re: @abfalecbaldwin / @hilariabaldwin: Our response to baby speculation over the past 18 months has remained the same...

Hilaria sparked speculation she was expecting on Monday  when she showed off what looked like a baby bump while filming a segment for 'Extra' that saw her pull off some impromptu dance moves.

The 54-year-old actor - who already has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger - has recently said he would love the couple's future children to look like Hilaria.

He said: "My only dream is they look like her."

The 29-year-old 'Les Miserables' star reportedly doesn't like the 34-year-old Broadway star and thinks she relied on her marriage to Tom Cruise, who she split from last June after six years together, to further her career.

A source told the National Enquirer: "Anne and Katie are long-time rivals.

"Anne puts forth a very genial, friendly image, but she has a wicked competitive streak. She doesn't like Katie because they used to go up for similar roles.

"Anne always felt like Katie used her Hollywood connections through Tom to advance her career. And she constantly makes fun of Katie behind her back, mocking her former marriage and even her appearance.
"Simply put, there is no love lost between Anne and Katie. It all comes down to the fact that Anne doesn't take Katie seriously as an actress. And Katie's gotten Anne's message loud and clear."

Their feud has allegedly become even more intense since Anne impersonated Katie, who has a six-year-old daughter Suri with Tom, on 'Saturday Night Live' recently during a skit interview with 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', putting on a slightly vacant expression and mocking her demeanour.

She joked: "Well if you read US Weekly you'll know that Suri and I spend every waking minute at the zoo."

Both actresses starred in the Batman franchise. Katie appeared as Rachel Dawes in the first installment 'Batman Begins' in 2005 but was replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in the second film 'The Dark Knight' in 2008, while Anne appeared as Catwoman in the final installment of the series 'The Dark Knight Rises' last year.

The British model and actress - who filed divorce papers last Friday at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, asking for spousal support and joint custody of their children Sykla, seven, and Tennyson, five - was desperate to get their 10-year relationship back on track after his affair with Kristen Stewart but was haunted by the images of them together.

A source close to the 34-year-old star told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "For the sake of her own happiness, she had to finally go through with the divorce. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't forgive Rupert for cheating on her with Kristen - especially since it was something that caused such public embarrassment.

"The images of Rupert and Kristen together making out were out there for everyone to see. Liberty just couldn't get those pictures out of her head. She truly tried everything, even counselling, because she was desperate to make it work for the sake of Skyla and Tennyson.

"But after months and months of painful soul searching she decided it was in the best interests to end her misery and make a fresh start."

Liberty and the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director's marriage has been under strain ever since his fling with the movie's star Kristen Stewart was exposed last summer.

Although Liberty initially kicked the director out of their home after his infidelity was revealed, they began couples therapy in an attempt to save their marriage.

The socialite - who is married to musician Tom Cohen - posted a picture on Instagram of the shiny diamond ring he gave to her at Christmas as well as her wedding band and engagement ring.

Accompanying the image. she wrote on Twitter: "My amazing engagement ring with my wedding band and the new Tiffany gold and platinum band Tom gave me as my Christmas pressie from him (it matches his wedding band) (sic)."

Peaches and Tom married in September last year at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, Kent, South East England.

The church holds special significance for Peaches, 23, as it was where her mother and her father, Bob Geldof, had their wedding blessed after earlier marrying in Las Vegas in 1986. It is also where Paula's funeral was held after she died of a drug overdose in 2000, but she said she could feel her at the wedding.

She said: "I feel her presence all the time but especially today.

"Mum loved family celebrations and she would adore Tom and the fact that we've married here.

"I know that she is watching over me and feeling so happy for us."

Peaches is currently expecting her second child with Tom, which will be a brother or sister to nine month old Astala.

The 37-year-old actress tied the knot with art consultant Will Kopelman – the father of her four month old daughter Olive - eight months ago and Drew says she has never been happier.

Speaking on 'The View', she said: “You know me, I would never have messed this up. This is the most important thing I’ll ever do with my life. I chose well, I’m so lucky he loves me back. It’s fantastic.

Drew added that her husband is a “nice Jewish man from a nice Jewish family” and the couple plan to raise their daughter in the Jewish faith, a religion which the star says has brought peace to her life.

She explained: “I haven’t converted yet, [but] Olive will be raised traditionally.

“I’m there, I love it! It’s a beautiful faith and I love to be around it. It’s so family-oriented … The stories are so beautiful and it’s incredibly enlightening. I’m really happy.

“I was such a hippie growing up, but I’m like the least loosey-goosey parent. I’m like bedtime, structure, feeding time because this baby is so happy knowing when everything is happy.

“And I as a parent succeed and thrive knowing when everything is happening [under] that type of structure.”

Although the 'Side Effects' actor can't wait to welcome his first child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum this summer, Channing admitted he is scared he will mess up.

He told People magazine: “That [will] be the biggest role of my life. I hope I don’t screw that one up,
“I'm really, really excited about it and I hope to slow to down a little bit when the little person comes into the world.”

Channing, 32, has had a successful few years, winning praise for his roles in 'Magic Mike' and '21 Jump Street' and being voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive last year but the modest star attributes it all to luck and hard work.

The 'Les Miserables' actress had a movie lined up but after it was put on hold she has found herself without anything in the pipeline and can't wait to just spend time at home in New York with her husband Adam Shulman and dog.

She told 'Access Hollywood': "I had a film lined up that we'd taken a breath on, so I'm unemployed. It's such a funny experience to sort of be here and be in some ways at the pinnacle of what you can achieve as an actor, but also know that you don't have a job. That is the life of an actor!

"I'll be hosting lots of dinners at my house," she said. "We're nesting, playing with my dog -- we're chilling."
Anne, 30, married 31-year-old Adam last year and admitted she has never been happier.

‘Dallas’ star Patrick Dempsey still knocks on Larry Hagman's trailer door every morning

The 'Dallas' star lost his battle with cancer aged 81 in November and Patrick – who has been a close friend of Larry ever since they starred on the original 'Dallas' together – revealed he misses his friend on the set of the reboot since he passed away.

He told the Huffington Post: "I knock on his trailer door every morning. It reminds me of our 35-year relationship. Every time I would go to work, I would knock on his door and go in before I did anything else.

I don't expect him to answer the door - I'm not that crazy - but it's more just my connection with him.”
Patrick says his connection with Larry will last forever and everyone on set is trying to move ahead since his passing.

He added: “I respect the ongoing friendship I have with him that will last in my life until I die. It's just my little moment. If I could have a glass of champagne with him I would.

Everybody loved and respected him so much, and we have this sense that we're still doing Larry's show. That's the best way to do it. It's not shoulders down or sad or solemn - it's just some inappropriate humour that keeps his spirit going really high on set."

Megan told Marie Claire magazine: "I just think we got lucky. I believe he's my soulmate. But that doesn't mean it doesn't take work, because we are very, very different.

"Sometimes that means you may not have fame or a good name or money or stuff but that's not necessarily success, do you know what I mean? It's really can you be yourself and be true to your contract."

Sinead, 42, cancelled a tour last year due to her bipolar disorder - urging fans at the time to recommend a psychiatrist in her hometown of Dublin, Ireland, to save her from "serious danger" - but is now back on track with her new album 'How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?'.

She added: "I think I'm having a great time making music, I'm really enjoying that the live shows are going so well.

"Everyone's responded so well to the album and everything so I'm really glad the kind of focus is back on being a musician. So long as I just keep my mouth shut and behave myself ..."

Sinead follows her own advice, as the tattooed musician credits her success to being herself and consulting the "Holy Spirit" when making decisions.

The singer - who was once ordained as a priest by an Independent Catholic group - explained: "To me success is really can you be yourself. You're working in an area which can be very vampirical and spiritually slightly dodgy and can you get from one side of the board to the other is the way I see it.

"And still maintain the contract you made with the Holy Spirit before you got here and which you renew constantly along the line, which is basically just be yourself which is all I figure."

Time was that the epic love affair between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson was the romance of our era. On screen at least (although there are plenty who would take issue with even that).

But now that the Twilight franchise has finally rolled on, Pattinson reportedly wants to remain 'friends' with Stewart following their supposed breakup.

According to the Irish Independent, the famously on again off again relationship between the two stars, who met on the set of the first Twilight movie, has come undone.

Last year fans of the pair were appalled when Stewart admitted to an affair with the married film director Rupert Sanders. After a serious attempt to patch things up, Pattinson has reportedly decided that friendship is the only solution.

'Rob really wanted it to work but he just felt like the trust was gone,' a source told Star magazine in the UK. 'Neither of them seemed really happy and he just thought it was easier to end it for good. He was honest with her and said they had been through so much he hoped they could remain amicable.'

The pair seemed to rekindle their rocky relationship in suspiciously perfect time to promote the final Twilight blowout, Breaking Dawn – Part 2, at the end of last year. But since then? Whispers resumed when Robert attended the Golden Globe Awards on his own earlier this month.

Despite meeting up with his former flame at an after-party, the couple reportedly looked strained. Sources say the  22-year-old actress is finding the whole situation difficult to deal with.

'It’s come as a massive blow as they had been making big plans to start afresh this year,' one source told Star.

'Rob is really keen to keep everything civil and work on being friends. It would be too much to be completely without her because she is such a massive part of his life.'

Lopilato (25) announced that she was pregnant with Bublé’s baby last week.

On Twitter she wrote “'@NiallOfficial I wish that you could have been the father !! Hahah I went the "wrong direction" @michaelbuble says you can be the stepdad.”

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Mila is over for at least six months filming near London and Ashton has decided to head here too. They spend most of their time glued to each other's side."

The inseparable couple have been spotted house hunting in the upmarket Marylebone area in central London, where their neighbours would include A-listers Kate Hudson and Guy Ritchie.

Mila, 28, will spend several months in London filming futuristic flick 'Jupiter Ascending' alongside 'Les Miserables' star Eddie Redmayne, in which she plays a Russian immigrant targeted by the Queen of the
Universe because she possesses the same genetic makeup.

Meanwhile, Ashton has some free time after he wrapped shooting his Steve Jobs biopic, 'Jobs', and the 34-year-old joker - who first met Mila on the set of 'That 70s Show' - is allegedly keen to spend time
away from the US where his divorce to estranged wife Demi Moore is being finalized.

He filed for divorce in December after 13 months of separation, but proceedings have reportedly stalled over money.

“America’s Most Hated Woman” Casey Anthony files for bankruptcy -- Claims about $1,100 in assets and $792,000 in liabilities

Casey Anthony, the mother acquitted in 2011 of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, filed for bankruptcy in Florida on Friday, claiming about $1,100 in assets and $792,000 in liabilities.

According to the New York Daily News, court records show that Anthony sought Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection in federal court in Tampa.

Her debts reportedly include $500,000 for attorney fees and costs for her criminal defense lawyer Jose Baez; $145,660 to the Orange County Sheriff's office for a judgment covering investigative fees and costs related to the case; $68,540 for the Internal Revenue Service for taxes, interest and penalties; and $61,505 for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for court costs.

The recent filing also states that she is a defendant in other civil suits, including one brought to Orange County Circuit Court by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez for defamation.

Fernandez-Gonzalez claims her reputation was damaged when Anthony told detectives that a babysitter with her name had kidnapped Caylee. But Anthony's attorney said the description offered by Anthony did not match Fernandez-Gonzalez's appearance and clearly demonstrated that Anthony wasn't talking about her.

Court records list that Anthony is unemployed, with no recent income.

Anthony is reportedly seeking Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection to be discharged of most of her existing debts, although a trustee could still have the right to take possession of her non-exempt property and use the sale proceeds to pay creditors.

Anthony lists few salable assets, however. Her filing came on the same day a Florida appellate court set aside two of the four convictions against her for lying to detectives during the investigation into her missing daughter, who was eventually found dead.

Anthony was acquitted of killing Caylee, but the jurors convicted her of four counts of lying to detectives, which her attorneys appealed. Anthony was sentenced to time served for the misdemeanors.

She was then sentenced to a year of probation after her release from jail for an unrelated case. To date her whereabouts are unknown since she was released from state supervision last year.

She said: "You're not allowed to talk about sex in Ireland. The last four boyfriends I've had, their mothers have refused to meet me because I wrote articles about sex. Now I have a rule - I don't go out with anyone whose mother isn't dead."

Sinead - who split from her last husband, Irish drugs counsellor Barry Herridge, last year - is also planning to move with her children, Jake, 24, Roisin, 16, Shane, eight and Yeshua, six, from Ireland to London.

She said: "There's nothing to do but drink. And I don't drink. Why don't they sell the whole thing to Australia?"

The 46-year-old singer also says her children are a "stabilising influence" on her and helped her to curb her hard partying ways.

She added in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "[Motherhood] certainly was a stabilising influence. I'm the type of rock 'n' roll chick that would have enjoyed staying up all night being under every drug under the sun. It was good I was a mother early so I couldn't be f****d up myself. And it influences your songwriting. It makes you concerned with issues that you wouldn't be if you weren't a parent."

In a gated community in Brentwood in LA, the couples master suite connects to an outdoor private area with a plunge pool.

Business Insider reports Brady sold two of his other properties in 2011; a condo on NYC's Upper West Side for $18 million, and a condo in Boston for $10.5 million.

The couple have two children Benjamin (3) and Vivian Lake, who was born last December.  Brady also has another son,John Edward Moynihan (5) from a previous relationship.

'Argo' star Ben Affleck doesn't want his children to be famous

Ben Affleck, star and director of the critically acclaimed film 'Argo,' has said that he doesn't want any of his three children to pursue Hollywood careers. Affleck is married to Hollywood starlet Jennifer Garner.

Affleck told E! News at the Producer's Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday that  "I would do whatever I could to discourage that. My kids have enough issues of being exposed in ways that I don't want them to be exposed, in magazines and shows and stuff."

Together, Affleck and Garner have three children - Violet, seven, Seraphina, four, and 11-month-old Samuel.

However, daddy Affleck did go on to admit that if his children are seriously interested in acting as they get older, he'll support whatever makes them happy.

He said: "You know, if you're interested in drama, there's great theatre classes and stuff and that's what's appropriate."

At the awards show, Affleck won the award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Picture at the event. The actor and producer previously revealed he thinks his working life is "richer" because of his family life.

He explained: "They're the most important people in my life. Family is a wonderful thing, but it doesn't mean you can't do other stuff in your life. In fact, having a family makes whatever other thing you have that much richer. Pop princess Taylor Swift reportedly tried to avoid an awkward run-in with her latest ex, Harry Style of One Direction, while at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday night.

Swift and Styles - briefly known together as 'Haylor' - split late last month after an apparent argument while the two were on holiday in the British Virgin Islands.

Rumor has it that at Saturday's award show in Cannes, Swift purposely delayed her arrival by 25 minutes to avoid running into Harry Styles.

A source told USMagazine.com: "It was very carefully timed so they didn't do the carpet at the same time."

"Taylor didn't do any backstage interviews and didn't use a dressing room - she changed at the hotel because she didn't want to see Harry at any point. ...Things were timed to keep them apart and for it to not become a big media circus."

Later at the awards show, Swift hit the stage to perform her breakup-anthem hit 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' while donning a tiny black lace dress with knee-high boots. Wonder what Harry's reaction was!

Luckily for Styles, he and his One Direction mates were among the big winners at the event as the band picked up the award for Best International Group and performed their hit 'Kiss You'.

Speculation is strong at the moment that Styles could be the focus of one of Swift's next tunes as she often turns to her line of failed relationships for inspiration.

She has previously said. "Well, it's not like it's in fine print but music is absolutely everything that I am and everything that I stand for."

"It's not my fault if someone gets into a relationship with me and then cheats and I write a song about it."

Seems that Lindsay Lohan is up to her old tricks! The troubled starlet has reportedly been described as a "child lashing out" during her filming for the upcoming 'The Canyons.'

In the film, Lohan is acting opposite 26 year old actor James Deen, who has starred in more than 4,000 porn films. Deen was reportedly taken aback by Lohan's behavior while filming his first mainstream movie.

He revealed: "There were days when she would scream and yell and cry and refuse to come out. In porn I am used to working with professionals who are courteous to others. But Lindsay was like a child lashing out."

It was recently revealed that Linsday, 26, was so keen to get her career back on track that she accepted a mere $95a day for her role in the film - which follows "youth, glamour, sex and surveillance".

However, when she was expected to strip down for one graphic scene, the flame-haired actress is said to have lashed out "screaming".

Deen told the Sun on Sunday newspaper: "We were all standing round naked and the next thing Lindsay was screaming, 'Put your clothes on. For the love of God put your clothes on'."

"So we all put our robes on. But then she sat on the bed topless. When I asked her why she said she was 'allowed to'. With that I dropped my towel - and she stormed off set."

"She then refused to return until the entire crew stripped."

On another occasion Lindsay refused to remove her high heels, insisting she could do what she wanted because she was the "star" of the film.

James added: "It was a simple request. I am a short guy and it looked ridiculous with her towering over me in seven-inch heels."

"But she refused. She was crying and screaming that she was the star of the film. In the end it was decided I would wear boots to make me taller and she finally calmed down."

Although Lindsay caused havoc on set, James couldn't help but notice how "fragile" the industry had made her, continuing: "She is a product of the Hollywood system. She is so fragile you can't help but
feel for her."

'Lincoln' star Daniel Day-Lewis says his kids didn't know he was an actor

Daniel Day-Lewis may be renowned for his acting talents, but that doesn't mean he's impressed his kids all that much.

Speaking with The Mirror, the 'Lincoln' star said, "They didn't even know what I was doing until a couple of years ago."

"In fact, my 14-year-old boy was asked what I did and he said, 'I think he's in construction'. That's how much they know!"

The 55-year-old actor, who is nominated for an Oscar for his role in 'Lincoln,' added that he believes he's an "old fashioned" parent.

"My parents believed in certain things, which I do too," he said. "I want my children to also. But there's no guarantee they will."

The movie's director Tom Hooper decided against using a scissors as he wanted it to look more authentic by having her hair cut off with a knife for her role of Fantine in the movie musical and actress Nicola Sloane, who was given the task, revealed how difficult it was for Anne.

She told the Daily Mail newspaper: “The director said ‘I want it to look really vicious we need you to be hacking at it with a knife'.

“We blu- tacked a razor blade against a knife blade and I held the two together and you have to saw away at it that’s the only way to get it off.

“She was all right and I had cut all the front and this little voice went ‘cut.' I thought ‘oh she’s had enough’ so I moved my hands away and then she burst into tears when she felt how short it was at the front.

“It was just before she got married there’s no wonder she bawled her eyes out – she had been growing her hair for three years. Then I hacked it all off and made her look terrible.”

Anne later sold her locks in order to raise money for charity.

Nicola explained: “I gave it back to her and there’s this thing called ‘Locks of love’ in America where they auction off celebrity’s hair and she did that to raise money for charity so a lot of good came out of it.”

The insider added: “It’s all up in the air as Harry’s main focus is being with his band.”

But it would not be the first time Taylor and Harry went on a yacht after the One Direction singer hired a sailboat to take them to two private islands during their romantic break in the Caribbean at new year, but the holiday ended in disaster when they split after having an argument.

A source said at the time: "Harry and Taylor kept getting hassled for pictures by fans on the island so he hired a yacht for two days and one night to take them to two private islands.
"He organised snorkelling and a chef to cook gourmet meals when they wanted."

'Lincoln' star Daniel Day-Lewis' son thought he worked in construction until recently

The 'Lincoln' star, who has two children - Ronan, 14, and Cashel, 10 - with wife Rebecca Miller, has revealed his kids were clueless about their father's occupation as an Oscar-winning actor until recently.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: "They didn't even know what I was doing until a couple of years ago. In fact, my 14-year-old boy was asked what I did and he said, 'I think he's in construction'. That's how much they know!"

The 55-year-old star also admits he has an "old fashioned" parenting style, sharing the same values as his own mother and father before him.

He said: "I think I'm quite old fashioned. My parents believed in certain things, which I do too, and I want my children to also. But there's no guarantee they will."

Daniel - who is being tipped to win his third Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal as American president Abraham Lincoln - stayed in character throughout the entire film shoot and grew to love the historical figure, but says one downside to the role was having to wear make-up.

He explained: "I was in complete denial.  It hadn't occurred to me I was going to need any make-up, so it came as a bit of a shock. I've tried to avoid using make-up over the years.

"I spent probably an hour and a half in the make-up chair every morning."

Tom recalled to W magazine:  "In one scene, I was firing a machine gun out a window, and I looked down and there was a guy shooting back at me. This was my first experience with stunts - and an expert marksman was aiming at me!

"I didn't want to look like I was dumb, but between takes I pulled the guy aside and said, 'Have you done this before? You're not going to shoot me, are you?' I was terrified that my first big part would be my last."

The 'Jack Reacher' star has grown to love high-adrenaline stunts, and he admitted earlier this month he will "never tire" of performing his own stunt, and enjoys trying to keep besting the dare-devil scenes he has shot before.

He said: "When I'm doing stunt movies you always have some sort of injury. Even with the high-speed car crashes that we had - I never tire of it actually.

 "It's really fun and I keep thinking about what it's going to look like and that it's going to entertain an audience. So it's fun doing it and trying to figure out, can we do it? How far can we push it?

"When I start working on a piece of material I get very excited about the potential of doing something that hadn't been seen before, that I haven't done before."

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Their success is quite staggering - so are the profits coming with it. The lads had an incredible 2012 and this year looks even bigger.

"Although they're all mature for their age, they are still five young boys at heart, and have all made mistakes - it's part of growing up.

"They've now been assigned a small team at one of the country's top money service providers who will be advising the boys on matters of tax, capital and investment.

"One Direction have become one of Sony's biggest draws and the label wants to make sure the guys are looked after."

Harry, 18, has splashed out on a number of expensive motors including a £100,000 Audi R8 Coupe, a £60,000 Range Rover Sport and a £80,000 classic Porsche since rising to fame in 2010, while Louis, 21, owns a £90,000 Range Rover and forked out £17,000 on a Mini for his girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

Liam, 19, also bought his on/off girlfriend Danielle Peazer a £50,000 Audi TT for her birthday, but he is more interested in splashing his cash on pricey watches such as a £13,000 Hublot and a £3,000 designer Breitling.

While they have a penchant for expensive vehicles, Niall was involved in a car crash on the weekend when the Range Rover he was a passenger in slid off the road and into a crash barrier after skidding on a large patch of ice as he was being driven home from Heathrow Airport. Asked whether there is anything the multi-talented actor can't do, he confessed to Britain's OK! magazine: "I'm not good at golf and I should be better at flossing my teeth. In fact, there are plenty of things. I like pushing myself and usually if I'm not good at something, I just won't do it because I'm a perfectionist. I tried kite surfing and I nearly died.

"The cord that goes around the kite somehow got wrapped around my neck, and the kite was going so fast and was dragging me underwater. I thought I was going to die. Eventually the kite dipped down in the water and released the tension on my neck. It was one of the scariest moments of my life."

Matthew - who has been dating singer Renee Puente for two years - also admitted he was terrified about losing his virginity because his father deliberately scared him off with stories of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and pregnancies.

He laughed: "My dad was a midwife. I grew up with him telling me about all these pregnancies. But he put me off sex for a long time, I was so scared! I think it was intentional, he'd come home with these vivid pictures of STDs and I'd be like, thanks dad!"

Harry, 18, opens the video by saying to the camera: "One third of children in sub-Saharan Africa are malnourished."

Zayn, 20, adds: "Big corporations avoid paying millions to Africa every day. If we stop this, all of Africa could have enough food to eat."

'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Orlando Bloom also appears in the clip, asking: "The world produces enough food for everyone. Why are one billion people going hungry?"

Actor David Harewood, who plays CIA agent David Estes in the hit drama 'Homeland', continues: "When there is enough food to feed everyone, why are 870 million going hungry?"

Other famous names who appear in the video include Microsoft chief Bill Gates, 'Love Actually' actor Bill Nighy and South African social rights campaigner Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Sarah Jacobs from Save the Children - who are one of the many charities pushing the campaign towards ending world hunger - hopes the famous names will gain them the attention and action they are seeking.
She said: "The last time a campaign came together with this many people involved was Make Poverty History.

"It's a major crisis that we need to tackle. We've made amazing progress in the last few years, but the issue of poverty has been sidelined.

"We need to make sure that promises which have been made by governments about life saving are carried through. World leaders can't ignore us if we come together in our masses."

The campaign - which is also backed by charities including Oxfam, Action Aid, Christian Aid and Unicef - launched in London on Wednesday night.

One Direction star Niall Horan denies rumors he was in car accident at Heathrow Airport

Despite rumors saying otherwise, One Direction's resident Irish lad tweeted on Wednesday that he was not involved in a car accident at Heathrow Airport in London.

On January 23rd, Horan (@NiallOfficial) tweeted "I was not in a crash and that is not my car," which was followed a retweet of one of his fan's saying "always rumours."

Horan made no further mention of the incident on his Twitter feed after that.

The Sun had reported that eyewitnesses saw Horan crawl out of a vehicle that had skidded on some ice on the road before entering another van.

One Direction was reportedly at Heathrow Airport after returning from doing shows in Japan.

Horan appears to have slid back into his routine of chatting up his nearly 9.4 million followers on Twitter on Thursday when he tweeted "Goodmorning ! What's up? Sorry just been chillin last few days so hadn't been tweetin a lot! What's goin on?"

She told the British magazine, “I think I thought that I didn't look too bad when I was a huge Culture Club fan at 13. I used to get the hats and stick on the braid so I'd look like Boy George. That's when I thought I was OK."

She was also asked if she thought being tall had helped her to get to where she is today. She said, "It moves so quickly! There's no time to be inspired any more. Coming from the 90s, back then, we just had to learn as we went along. I remember I would ask Iman or other models who were around me to show me how to do things.

"But things have changed since then, I'm 5ft 9 1/2 inches, and when I started modeling that was considered tall. The generations that have come after are much taller."

She also said Kate Moss proved being a supermodel is about more than just beauty. She mused, “I guess she [Kate] showed us all that you didn't have to be so tall. But I think being a supermodel really does come from your personality. You've got to have that something special that catches attention."

Asked if Robert is impressed by his career, Guy said: “Um I don’t know, hopefully he thinks so! I think it’s about collaborating and all getting on the same page. It doesn’t matter how experienced or inexperienced someone is, you hopefully just all understand each other and understand you are all on the same film together.

While Robert is currently busy with his acting career, he recently admitted he loves traditional British pubs and aspires to one day own one in London.

He said: "I would love to own a pub in London at some point...I wouldn't want to buy a pub that was all trendy and done Gastro style food, I just want a real working men's pub.

"I probably wouldn't even go public that I owned it. I wouldn't want it to become the sort of place people went to spot celebrities. I just want it to be a real pub where men discuss the issues of the day.

"Men putting the world to rights over a few pints puts the Great into Great Britain; we have to fight to keep that."

He explained: "I literally am very, very happy for them, but I just only hope that she and him – but mainly Catherine – hopefully that she gets the necessary protection to allow her as a mother-to-be to enjoy the privacy that that comes with. I seriously hope that's going to be able to happen."

While William is happily settled as a husband and father-to-be, Harry isn't planning to rush down the aisle just yet.

The 28-year-old prince said: "I don't think you can ever be urged to settle down. If you find the right person and everything feels right, then it takes time, especially for myself and my brother."

The former couple – who split earlier this month following an argument during their new year holiday in the Caribbean – have patched up their differences following showdown talks in London, and they will reportedly seal their reunion at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France, this weekend.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Taylor realised she was being a bit full-on.

“She is now more relaxed about their relationship. She intends to enjoy it more rather than worry about where it could eventually lead.

“Harry is not the sort of guy you can stay mad at for long. She’s given him some space and it’s done them both a world of good.

“What happened over New Year is now a distant memory.”

Harry, 18, is said to be planning a number of romantic gestures for the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' hitmaker in Cannes, where they will stay in the same hotel.

Following their split earlier this month, Taylor – who has had several failed relationships with stars including Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas and John Mayer - was said to have been left "embarrassed" by her love life after she was mocked at the Golden Globes and during an episode of 'Saturday Night Live'.

"At first Taylor just thought it was funny how much interest people had in her love life and she went along with it. But now she's the butt of jokes on 'Saturday Night Live,' in the tabloids and on the late night shows. She laughed it off, but the jokes made about her at the Golden Globes got under her skin."
