Prince William to name Guy Pelly as godfather to Prince George

The second in line to the British throne is to honor his close friend by picking him as one of the six godparents the newborn prince will have, in line with royal tradition.

Former Mahiki nightclub boss Guy, 31, may seem a controversial choice as he is known for his hell raising party antics and is currently facing trial over a drink drive charge - which he has pleaded not guilty to, claiming the breathalyser was faulty - but he has also been a close confidant of both Prince William and his brother Harry for many years.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "He is thrilled to bits about being picked and everyone was congratulating him.

"He's been told informally by the prince. Guy's been a very discreet and good friend to William over the years. Those are qualities he wants to pass to George."

Prince Harry and Duchess Catherine's sister Pippa are also expected to be asked to become godparents.

Other people said to be in the frame include James Meade, the son of an ex-Olympic equestrian champ, William's estate agent friend Thomas Van Straubenzee and the Duchess' old school friend, Alicia Fox-Pitt.

Prince George's baptism is thought to be taking place in the autumn, with a christening which will then be followed by a family party.

Niall Horan records One Direction songs in just his underwear

Niall Horan appreciates the human form it would seem!

The 19-year-old singer revealed he started stripping down in the studio when the group were working on their hit 'What Makes You Beautiful' and he has continued the trend "ever since".

Speaking to Heat magazine, he said: "I've been doing it for a while. I recorded 'What Makes You Beautiful' in my boxers.

" 'What Makes You Beautiful' was the first time I did it because it was really warm in the studio, and I've done it ever since."

While Niall might be open with his band mates, he has admitted in the past that it can be "embarrassing" when their fans are similarly open.

Louis Tomlinson previously revealed they were shocked when excited girls in Sweden flashed their breasts as the group were driving past.

He said: "The Swedish fans were pressing their breasts up against the car window."
Niall added: "It was quite embarrassing."

He also recently made a more innocent revelation when he named 'Harry Potter' star Tom Felton as the actor he'd most like to play him in a potential biopic.

The Saturdays' Una Healy says Miley Cyrus should be allowed to "express herself"

The Saturdays singer has defended the 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker for her controversial performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, and she insisted the former 'Hannah Montana' star is "free" to be her "own person".

In her blog for Heat magazine, she wrote: "Miley is going down a different road now that she's a grown woman rather than a Disney teenager.

"Personally, I don't see why she shouldn't. She's her own person and she should be free to express herself."

Una, 31, claimed Miley is behaving no differently than the likes of Madonna and Lady Gaga and added while she can accept why the performance had its critics, she was a big fan.

She said: "Madonna was always controversial with her outfits and performances and of course Lady Gaga has shocked people in the past.

"I can see how it might offend some people but personally I really enjoyed it."

However, fans shouldn't expect similar antics from the 'What About Us' star after she revealed her favourite part of a night out is "getting ready" with the girls.

She continued: "That's often the best part of the night, the getting ready with your friends, trying on different outfits, doing your hair and makeup and catching up with everyone."

Stars sent their regards to the 'Thriller' star - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 - with many posting photos and their reminiscences of the singer.

Mariah posted a picture of her with Michael and a caption reading: "Remembering Michael Jackson #KingOfPop #tbt (sic)".

Justin - who appeared on a recently leaked remix of a little known track by the 'Beat It' star called 'Slave To The Rhythm' - wrote: "Happy birthday MJ. #thegreatest #RIP(sic)"

Rapper P Diddy paid his regards, tweeting: "Happy Birthday to the greatest performer of all-time Michael Jackson!!! There's only one KING!! (sic)."

Film director Spike Lee sent his well wishes alongside a poem on Instagram, writing: "HAPPY BORN DAY, MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON! Remember the Time - Poem by Lemon Andersen... (sic)."

Meanwhile producer Timbaland chose yesterday to announce he is working on new material to be released posthumously by the singer, including a track called 'Chicago'.

He said in a video posted online: "[Producer] L.A. Reid came to my house and said 'I've got something big I want to do.' I can tell you the first single's going to be this song called 'Chicago,' but I'm going to set it up right.

"We talked on the phone. It's hard to bring anything out because now all you're going to hear is his voice over my music and now it's my turn. Watch me go."

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki deny Wozzilroy breakup

Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy.
Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy.
There are definitely forces out there that want power sporting couple Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki to go bust.

Rumors spread again last weekend that the golf and tennis sweethearts, dating for more than two years, had ended their relationship, with one report claiming that Danish Woz ordered Northern Irish McIlroy to get his belongings out of her Monaco pad stat.

“They’ve been fighting like cats and dogs all year. It’s been on and off.  A few weeks ago she rang Rory and told him it was over and told him to get over to Monaco to get all his stuff out of her place,” a “friend” told the Irish Sun.

Another alleged pal – what’s the saying, with friends like these …? – said Rory was the one who did the dumping.  The Sunday Independent quoted the Rory source saying that Wozniacki was “utterly distraught.”

So where does the truth lie? Nowhere in between apparently, as the couple christened “Wozzilroy” went out of their way this week to deny any problems.

The rumors first started over Twitter, when R&C changed their profile shots showing them as a couple to individual ones instead. So naturally that means they’re over, right?

Wrong. “Uh-huh, yeah, it's all good. Just because we changed our Twitter profile picture doesn't mean that we're not together,” McIlroy told reporters during the Barclays tournament in New Jersey last week.

Wozniacki, meanwhile, again changed her profile pic to one featuring her famous beau. “Since my profile pic made big headlines I better change it again lol.. #dontbelieveallyoureadinpapers,” she tweeted on Sunday, following up with another photo Monday morning showing her and Rory eating breakfast with her brother Patrik.

Rory was in the audience on Tuesday afternoon watching his woman compete in the U.S. Open this week in New York against Chinese qualifier Ying-Ying Duan.

He too slammed the rumors of their demise on his Twitter account. “I'd love to know who this guy source is... Seems to pop up in the papers all the time and is wrong 99.9% of the time!” he advised.

Wozniacki, 23, spoke glowingly of McIlroy in a New York Times profile on Saturday, describing him as “pretty close to the ideal boyfriend.”

“Sometimes we enjoy playing games with the media, but usually we are pretty straightforward,” she said. “Rory and I always felt that there is no point in hiding our relationship. It just leaves room for questioning and speculating. We obviously care a lot about each other, so why hide it right?”

The 34-year-old actress didn't know what to expect when she was confronted with so many babies in Richard Curtis' new romantic-comedy movie, but she ended up enjoying every minute she spent with the youngsters - even though their cries upset her.

She said: "You've got to love them. That was so delightful, but when they wanted to go home and they're crying, your heart just breaks.

"I think we had a few that won't turn out to be actors when they grow up. This was probably enough of a traumatic experience for them, but they were all so sweet.

"I was really nervous at first as, you know, you're always told, 'Don't do movies with babies or pets,' but it was great."

Rachel portrays Domhnall Gleeson's on-screen lover Mary in the motion picture and admits she was keen to play the part as soon as she read the "heart-warming" script.

She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I have loved Richard Curtis' movies for so long, so it's such an honour to be a part of one.

"He has this wonderful way of making you take stock of the lovely things in life and yet there's melancholy too.

"I just fell in love with the script and it was very heart-warming. I also liked my character, Mary.

"I thought she was kind of quirky and shy, plus of course there's a great ensemble cast with Bill Nighy, Domhnall Gleeson and Tom Hollander."

The hotel heiress has already been snapped up by legendary nightclub Amnesia for an undisclosed fee to spin records for crowds in 2014, following her successful weekly slot at the club's famous "Foam & Diamonds" parties this summer.

The owner of Amnesia nightclub was initially hesitant to hire the socialite - who is a frequent visitor to Ibiza -  but were impressed by her pulling power over the party revellers who make the pilgrimage to party island.

He told TMZ: "The number of people attending kept on growing and the positive word of mouth in Ibiza was just phenomenal."

Paris will join the likes of DJs Mar T, Les Schmitz and Caal Smiles who all have residency's at the venue.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old star is taking another stab at her music career - following her 2006 debut album 'Paris' - after music mogul Birdman, signed her to his record label Cash Money Records - which is also responsible for launching the careers of rappers Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj.

‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson says he can be ‘too sensitive’
Robert Pattinson
Although he may be one of the world's biggest stars with a slew of assistants ready to wait on him hand and foot, the 27-year-old hunk makes a conscious decision to remain humble and admits he can be insecure about other people's opinions of him.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, he said: "You see other people doing it all the time ... it's so easy to go down that road and become a total d***head. I remember working with this guy once, it was his first movie and we were three weeks in. He was having a conversation with someone and he'd just finished his water bottle and was holding it out, waiting for someone to take it. I thought, 'You've been here three weeks!'

"I guess maybe I'm too sensitive. I don't want people not to like me. I actually find it difficult to ask people to do things for me. If you start bossing people around, they'll just take it because they have to. Then they think, 'OK, you've bossed me around, now I'm going to talk shit about you behind your back.' "

The 'Twilight' star also revealed he was never overly popular in high school and preferred to hang out with a small handful of pals, who he still surrounds himself with today.

He explained: "I never hung out with the 'cool crowd'. My little group of friends, who actually are still my little group of friends, we were artists really. We never got invited to the cool parties and if we did, we just stood in the corner on our own."

The actor - who plays Jesse Pinkman - was filming a "serious" final scene for the crime drama with his co-star when he was interrupted by laughter from the rest of the workers on set.

Aaron then realised Bryan - who stars as chemistry teacher Walter White - had revealed his butt to the camera and crew in the middle of their poignant moment.

He told Shortlist magazine: "I remember the final scene that he and I were shooting together.

"It was this serious moment, I'm talking to him and I hear everyone laughing outside of the set and I'm like, 'Why is everyone laughing?'

"Then I realise. He turns away from me and starts walking and I can see that his ass is out. Right in front of the camera."

The programme will come to an end next month and Bryan's prank comes as a stark contrast to the tone Aaron has recently hinted at for the final series.

He previously said: "Each season of Breaking Bad gets progressively darker and this final season, each episode just gets more and more intense.

"And just hold on because it's about to get really, really, really crazy."

One Direction won their first BRIT Award at the annual ceremony last year and part of the heart throb's outfit is being sold on eBay to raise money for Believe In Magic, a charity which helps bring joy to terminally ill children.

The item - which currently has a top bid of £660 - is part of the '50 celebrities, 50 items, 50 charities' auction featuring offers from stars like Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John.

Laura Wilkinson-Rea, a spokesman for eBay, said: "This is a real milestone for eBay for Charity.

"Our programme supports over 7,500 UK based charities and since its launch in 2006 has enabled eBay shoppers to bid on some truly unique items and experiences.

"What better way to celebrate than to raise even more money for some fantastic charities and shine a spotlight on how easy it is to give to charity on eBay.

"We would like to thank everyone who has used the eBay for Charity program to connect with a cause close to their heart."

'Downton Abbey' actor Hugh Bonneville - who plays Robert Crawley in the period drama - has also joined the cause, donating a book signed by the cast to raise money for international health charity Merlin.

He added: "I've been a proud patron of Merlin for nearly a decade ... Watching Merlin's health workers is uplifting.

"They operate in places other aid agencies shy away from and they succeed when failure looks more likely. Merlin staff are changing lives. Every day."

‘Anger Management’ star Charlie Sheen is hunting an ‘otter man’ in Alaska

‘Anger Management’ star Charlie Sheen is hunting an ‘otter man’ in Alaska
Charlie Sheen
The 'Anger Management' star wants to find evidence of mythological creatures the 'Kushtaka' or 'Kooshdakhaa' - which translates to "land otter man" in English - which roam the snowy mountains of South Eastern Alaska.

Charlie flew via his private jet to Sitka last week with a group of friends in a bid to find the being, which he describes as a "shape-shifting trickster who is half man, half otter. It lures one away from the camp site with the mimicked sounds of a crying baby, then kills you, takes on your form, and returns to the scene for more suckers or prey".

Unfortunately for the 47-year-old actor and his pals they could not gather any evidence to prove the existence of the legend.

Charlie told TMZ: "It obviously knew our group was far too skilled to be snowed in this fashion so it stayed hidden like a sissy."

Legends of the 'Kooshdakhaa' and its shape-shifting abilities come from the stories of the Tlingit and Tsimshian Indians and warn the creature's aim is to kill humans or transform them into 'Kooshdakhaa'. They can be warded off with the use of copper, urine and fire.

The Hollywood star's latest hunt comes after he tried to find the elusive Loch Ness Monster in Scotland in July.

Charlie flew to lake Loch Ness, where the creature is said to live, with his friends Todd Zeile and Brian Peck and the trio stayed at the historic Aldourie Castle on the shores of the loch but unfortunately they couldn't spot the creature.

Since Charlie's fruitless excursion to Loch Ness, new evidence of the creature's existence has emerged.

Amateur photographer David Elder captured an unusual 15ft black shadow in the lake which caused a wave as he was snapping a swan and he is convinced it could only have been caused by something "under the water".

After the '22' hitmaker appeared to badmouth the One Direction heart throb when the band were on stage at the ceremony on Sunday, the former couple were seen together - along with Ed and party promoter DJ Spiky Phil - and it is said their meeting wasn't easy for anyone involved.

Taylor, 23, was seen on screen seemingly mouthing "shut the f**k up" as the 'Best Song Ever' quintet were presenting an award and according to Us Magazine, things were "super awkward" later in the evening with the 'Lego House' singer stuck in the middle.

An insider also said: "Ed made sure to keep them separate."

It is reported that the neutral role is one he has to adopt quite often when it comes to his mutual friends, who split in January after a three-month romance.

Harry's band mates have leaped to his defence after Taylor also appeared to dedicate her own Best Female Video trophy - for 'I Knew You Were Trouble' - to her ex-boyfriend, whom she has admitted she wrote the song about.

Liam Payne previously said: "I just thought it was a bit not needed. I mean, you just won an award, it's like, concentrate on yourself ... Hashtag get over it."

The 'Best Song Ever' hitmakers could be close to inking a deal for a new prank program after Louis Tomlinson became hooked on BBC Three's 'Impractical Jokers' and told his band that they could have a future on the small screen.

The hunky five-piece - also made up of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - have their sights set on becoming the next Jeremy Beadle after falling in love with his hidden-camera series 'Beadle's About'.

Louis is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying said: "We want to do a TV prank show like that new one on BBC Three.

"It was funny and full of practical jokes. We would like to do a show like that and prank celebrities."

Meanwhile, teenage heartthrob Harry - who is arguably the fans' favorite member of the group - was reportedly surrounded by 20 security guards on Tuesday as he made his way through the airport in

New York City following the boy band's premiere for their new movie, 'One Direction: This Is Us', according to the New York Post newspaper.

The 19-year-old old singer doesn't appear to have much luck with avoiding adoring fans as just last month he was almost reduced to tears after his security team lost control of a crowd of screaming girls outside his accommodation in New York City and he was forced to drop to his hands and knees and shuffle to his car.

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are reportedly on a ‘break’

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are reportedly on a ‘break’
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas
The couple - who have not been photographed together since April - have decided to separate in order to spend some time apart.

Neither Michael nor Catherine have made any movements to file for divorce or legally separate.
A source told the new issue of People magazine: "They're taking a break."

Michael, 68, is currently on vacation on a yacht off the coast of Sardinia, while Catherine, 43, is at home in New York with their two children, son Dylan, 12, and 10-year-old daughter Carys.

The two stars tied the knot in 2000 at Manhattan's Plaza Hotel but their 13-year marriage has come under intense pressure in the last three years with Michael being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2010.

The 'Behind the Candelabra' star beat the disease and has been cancer-free for two years, but Catherine was diagnosed with bipolar II disorder in 2011 and although she was treated in a mental health facility that year she had to receive more clinic-based treatment in May this year.

These two life-changing things are said to have put a massive strain of the relationship.

A friend of the couple said: "The stress has taken a toll on their marriage."

Just last month Catherine claimed she and Michael were still strong as a couple because they give each other the right amount of space.

When asked what the secret to their long-lasting marriage was, she responded: "Respect, space and a sense of humour. We spend a hell of a lot of time together, so we are careful to maintain our space.

"We recently had an extension built, to house a closet. I go in there and never come out.

"My husband knocks on the door and says, 'Can I come in?' But I've got a TV in there, and my daughter brings her friends in - they play shop, put on all my stuff. I could be in there for the whole day, happily."

Harry Styles
The One Direction star and his bandmates were at the ceremony on Sunday night to witness Miley grind and perform a 'twerking' routine with Robin Thicke whilst dressed in a flesh colored, latex bikini and using a foam finger in a very suggestive manner.

But Harry insists he was underwhelmed by the whole and episode and can't see what all the fuss is about.
When quizzed about Miley's stage antics at the New York City premiere of 1D's new 3D documentary film 'One Direction: This Is Us', Harry quipped: "Very reserved."

The 19-year-old heartthrob continued to joke about Miley, adding to Yahoo! on the red carpet: "She's quite shy and I think it's time she came out of her shell."

Harry was joined at the event by his bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik and they are equally as underwhelmed as Harry.

Niall said: "I don't get why everyone is sulking about her."

Agreeing, Louis added: "I was shocked at how much coverage it got and I think she was shocked. I don't think she even knew she'd get that much attention from it."

Liam was willing to offer his opinion as well, claiming her tongue wagging and 'twerking' was "cute".

Miley and Robin's duet has even attracted a complaint from the Parents Television Council - a non-profit organization that campaigns against explicit programming - because of the telecast's TV-14 rating.

But Harry insists Miley's performance was something all the family could enjoy together.

He cheekily said: "[It was] family friendly. You could watch it with your kids and your Grandma."

Taylor appeared to mouth the words "shut the f**k up" as the band collected the Song of the Summer award on Saturday, before later dedicating her own Best Female Video trophy, for 'I Knew You Were Trouble', to the band's Harry Styles, whom she previously dated and admits she wrote the song about.

Her antics have seen the rest of One Direction jump to Harry's defence, with Liam Payne saying: "I just thought it was a bit not needed. I mean, you just won an award, it's like, concentrate on yourself ... Hashtag get over it."

When asked if he thought Taylor's reaction was "lame", he added: "Yeah, We were a bit confused."
Despite Taylor's comments at the ceremony in New York, she and Harry, 19, were later pictured together at Robin Thicke's afterparty as part of a group, although they stood with mutual friend Ed Sheeran and another person between them.

Earlier on in the evening, Harry - who dated Taylor for just over two months between December 2012 and this February - had nervously chewed gum as Taylor, 23, dedicated her award to him, and did his best not to betray any emotion as the camera panned over to get his reaction.

He has previously said he doesn't regret dating the star because she wrote a song about him.

He explained: "It would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn't do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experience. I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it.

"You like people for who they are, so I couldn't say I want to date someone less famous because of the hassle. You like who you like."

The 21-year-old singer-and-actress is to star in one of the first two Beatles-themed episodes of the forthcoming fifth season, and Naya – who plays Santana Lopez - can't wait to bring the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker to "the dark side" by getting close to her on the musical comedy-drama series.

She told MTV News: "She's playing my love interest, so I'm very, very excited about that.

"We get to sing a song together. It's gonna be good. I'm excited to work with her. We're bringing her to the dark side. Well, she comes in in a Beatles episode, so [we're singing] a Beatles song. I'm excited."

Naya and her fellow cast members are currently filming the first three episodes of the upcoming new series, in which they perform songs by The Beatles, and the 26-year-old star has enjoyed singing the legendary British band's hits.

She added: "We're still shooting them. We're shooting three episodes at one time right now, and it's awesome.

"We get to sing all of the best Beatles songs."

The 'Glee' cast have also been filming a tribute episode to their late co-star Cory Monteith – who played Finn Hudson in the show – after he was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, in July following a heroin and alcohol overdose. The episode is due to air on October 10.

Alec Baldwin
The 55-year-old actor reportedly grabbed and pushed a paparazzo in front of several witnesses while he was out and about in New York City with wife Hilaria - who gave birth to their first child together, Carmen Gabriela, on Friday - and she is said to have escaped into a tea shop while the fracas was going on.

A friend of Alec's told gossip website TMZ: "What kind of sick twisted psychopath chases a woman who just got out of the hospital from having a baby into a tea store?"

But the photographer said: "All I can say is I was doing my job asking him normal questions and he flipped. That's all."

Both Alec and the paparazzo are reported to have phoned the police and while the pair are said to have admitted pushing and shoving each other, neither wanted to pursue charges.

Earlier this year, the '30 Rock' actor was accused of racially abusing a photographer outside his apartment building.

What's more, Alec was involved in two incidents with paparazzos in the space of two weeks in June 2012.

He was involved in a scuffle in New York City where he squeezed a paparazzo's arm and verbally blasted him, and just a few weeks beforehand he allegedly "pushed and shoved" a photographer.

The 22-year-old singer doesn't believe he is a sex symbol and thinks women are more interested in looking after him than making passionate love to him.

Speaking at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), he told People magazine: "I find the whole concept of women screaming at me so odd. It's very flattering, but I don't think I will ever consider myself to be a sex symbol.

"If you speak to most women, they want to take me home and mother me rather than take me to bed. I just have that impression."

The ginger-haired star - who is currently single - was spotted cosying up to Ellie Goulding at the VMAs in Brooklyn, New York City, on Sunday night, with the pair pictured holding hands while watching the performances.

However, Ellie was quick to dispel rumours, as she has just started dating One Direction star Niall Horan - who is friends with Ed.

In a post on her Twitter account, Ellie said: "I love that holding hands with my friends means we're an item. In that case I am in many relationships. Lover not a hater. #whatthef**k (sic)"

The 47-year-old actor has been racing for over eight years and competed in his second 24 Hours of Le Mans in France this year, racing a Porsche 911 GTS RSR and finishing fourth in his class.

'Grey's Anatomy' star Dempsey has loved motor racing since he was a young boy but it was his spouse Jillian Fink who convinced him to actually compete.

During an appearance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman', he revealed: "I've loved it since I was a kid and always loved it. My father was very much into it. The Indianapolis 500 was a big event in our house and that's how it started. I watched a lot of television and my wife got tired of me sitting around, so she said, 'Get off the couch and go learn how to.' "

Dempsey's trials and tribulations in the 24-hour pro-am endurance race this year have been chronicled for a four-part TV documentary series, 'Patrick Dempsey: Racing Le Mans', and it will also explore the relationship between Hollywood and racing.

The actor explained: "It's a four parter and the first part is setting up Le Mans, what it means and the history. Also Paul Newman, Steve McQueen and James Garner are big racers. Paul Newman had raced there and was on the podium, and an incredible racer, Steve McQueen of course did the movie 'Le Mans' and Garner was a big off-road racer."

Jenny McCarthy
The 40-year-old blonde beauty was announced as Joy Behar's permanent replacement on the topical ABC talk show last month and she has now relocated to 'The Big Apple' to start work on the show.

Jenny arrived in NYC on Sunday, but rather than  go to her new apartment to settle in she dropped her luggage off and then headed to In Touch magazine's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) after-party at Finale.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "She literally went straight from the airport to her new apartment to drop off her belongings, and then got in a cab to the party."

Jenny was joined at the bash by a host of stars including Cuba Gooding Jr., 'America's Got Talent' host Nick Cannon - who is married to Mariah Carey - Travie McCoy and Sarah Hyland.

Jenny - who has an 11-year-old son Eva - is thrilled to be joining the series permanently, after appearing on it 17 times, and she cannot wait to start working with the other stars and in particular Barbara Walters, 83.
She recently said: "I'm beyond thrilled to be joining Barbara and the other amazing women at the table. I'd like to thank ABC for this great opportunity.

"I look forward to helping make hot topics a little bit hotter, and showing my mom that my interrupting skills have finally paid off."

Barbara - who is the only panellist to have been on the show since its debut in 1997 - announced earlier this year that she will retire from TV in 2014.

The 21-year-old singer- who has been in an on/off relationship with 19-year-old Justin Bieber for several - used to be attracted to 'Percy Jackson' star Logan Lerman, but now she has her sights set on bagging an older man after developing a soft spot for the 52-year-old film hunk.

When asked by E! News who she has a crush on, she said: "Well I once said Logan Lerman but now it's George Clooney."

The 'Come and Get It' hitmaker has recently been spotted canoodling once again with Justin, but her mother Mandy and stepfather Brian Teefey have urged her to stay away from him as they believe he is putting her relationship with them and her new baby sister, Gracie Elliot, in jeopardy.

A source said previously: "They told her Justin was a really bad person. They said she has to rid him from her life; otherwise they can't be part of her life - her new baby sister included. There were tears from everyone and Selena was devastated."

The 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker has been accused of going off the rails after a spate of recent incidents including allegedly spitting on fans from a balcony and reports of being involved in a club brawl, but he previously claimed his mother Pattie Mallette taught him how to be a gentleman around women.

He said previously: "I'm not going to lie. It's fun to be young, fall in love and be in love. My mum taught me how to treat a woman right, so I enjoy taking a girl out and doing nice things for her."

Noel Gallagher says success made him want to ‘go to the pub’
Noel Gallagher
The former Oasis rocker wrote some of the group's defining tracks when he was unemployment benefits and admitted the band's fame made him second guess his music.

He said: "All that 'Definitely Maybe', ['(What's the Story) Morning Glory?'], 'Be Here Now' stuff was written while I was still on the dole.

"I had the chords, the arrangements, the melodies, just bits of lyrics to fill in. You start off writing songs, you're not sure who's going to hear them.

"Then when I tried to write the next batch, I was like, 'We've 20 million fans'. Then your records become eagerly anticipated and you start going, 'Umm, I might go to the pub today.' "

The outspoken musician also slated song writers who bare their soul on record, insisting tracks dealing with personal issues don't "mean anything" to anyone else.

He told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine: "All the songs I like, they're not written by song writers pulling scabs off themselves.

"I'm not interested in all of John Lennon's stuff about his mother, because it doesn't mean anything to me. How can 'Mother' mean anything to anybody apart from John Lennon?

"It can't, because he's singing it about his mother, not mine. The abusive father I had belongs to me. And I wouldn't want to share any of that or to put it into a song."

"Glee’s" Matthew Morrison praised Lea Michele's strength after Cory Monteith's death

‘Glee’ star Matthew Morrison praises Lea Michele's strength following Cory Monteith's death
Lea Michele & the late Cory Monteith
The 'Glee' star died from a heroin and alcohol overdose last month and his girlfriend has helped the cast through the tough time as they film the scenes "mourning" his character Finn's death.

Speaking to E! Online, Matthew said: "We're in the middle of filming it, and it's incredibly hard.

"We've mourned Cory, but now we're mourning Finn. So it's kind of like two people in that one person.
"It's incredibly hard and we're staying strong together and I have to say Lea [Michele] has been the most strongest of all of us."

The cast were already "very close", but Matthew admitted the tragic loss of a co-star has meant they have all had to support one another as they look to cope with Cory's death.

He added: "I think we all knew we were very close but I think this just kind of solidified it like we are a rock for each other right now. It's quite a beautiful thing."

Darren Crisis admitted the "tribute" episode has been difficult to get through, but he hopes it will do the late star justice.

He said: "We're shooting it right now. It's tough to shoot. It's something that needs to happen for the fans.

"I don't know; it's going to be tough. But it will be very poignant and hopefully very moving, and just that: a tribute. Hopefully it will be a good tribute to Cory."

The group received a surprisingly negative reaction when they collected the gong for 'Song of the Summer' - for their hit single 'Best Song Ever' - and while they took it in their stride, they still had the support of the 'Applause' singer.

Seen backstage after the boy band accepted their award, Gaga was heard saying: "Don't you dare let those people boo you. If I did hear what I heard out there, I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have.

"I want to leave right now. I don't want to stay anymore because I don't want to be in a room where people are booing."

Liam Payne took to his Twitter account earlier on Monday and thanked the star for her kind words.

He wrote: "Morning everyone what a night yesterday was would like to thank @ladygaga for her support yesterday and her extraordinary outfits."

Earlier in the night, Taylor Swift was seemingly caught on camera turning to Selena Gomez and telling ex-boyfriend Harry Styles to "shut the f**k up" while his was on stage with his band mates to present the award for Best Pop Video.

The 27-year-old singer has a crush on the "charming" One Direction heartthrob although she thinks the 19-year-old pop star could be a bit young for her to date.

She told the Heatworld website: "I will say he's quite cute. And he's very talented.

"He's a little young for my taste if you're going in that direction, which I think you are, but he seems like a charming young man."

Carly is a fan of the music made by the boy band - which includes Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - and loves their 2013 charity single 'One Way Or Another'.

She explained: "I think One Direction are great. I love the cover they did with 'One Way Or Another'. That's been a favourite song of mine for a while and I thought they did a really cute job of it."

Much like Harry's ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, who uses her heart break to inspire her music, Carly too uses her life experiences to shape her tracks.

She revealed: "I think I'm very inspired by real life. I'm also very inspired by other people's situations, not just my own, so I'm constantly eavesdropping on people and milking my friends for their latest dirtiest dish. I'll write down anything that comes to mind out of inspiration from that."

"[I've written songs about a] few [exes], but I'm hesitant to tell you more about that - just to save the other people involved."

The 19-year-old One Direction singer admitted he is smitten with the 17-year-old 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and would love to take her on a date.

He told Us Weekly magazine: "She's so cute and I'm a sucker for nice eyes."

Meanwhile, bandmate Harry Styles, 19, says he has no regrets about dating singer Taylor Swift, even if she writes a song about him.

He said: "I can't say I'd date someone less famous to avoid it. At least she's a great songwriter."

Zayn Malik, 20, insisted his favourite thing about his fiancée, Perrie Edwards, is her sense of adventure.
He said: "She's adventurous. Always up for a 2am ice cream run."

This week Liam Payne confirmed he is dating his childhood friend, Sophia Smith who he met when they both attended St. Peter's Collegiate in Wolverhampton.

The final member of the group, Louis Tomlinson, admits his girlfriend politics and sociology student Eleanor Calder, finds it hard to deal with his huge global fame.

He said: "It hasn't been easy at times. She gets pretty intimidated by it all. I mean, who wouldn't? She can't have Twitter or anything like that. At first, I was like, 'Just chill out a bit, it's fine', but now I understand where she's coming from. I can't expect her to deal with some of the stuff so easily. But with that said, I couldn't be happier with her."

The 'Glee' star announced in July she was legally ending her three-year-marriage to the clinical psychologist, whom she split from in February.

Lara has now filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court asking for her attorney fees to be paid by Jane, along with spousal support despite the 53-year-old actress previously seeking to terminate the court's jurisdiction to award spousal support to her ex-wife, according to People.com.

Jane recently insisted their divorce was "not a horrible" thing.

She said: "It's not dramatic. It's not a horrible thing. It's something that we're dealing with. It's two people who just decided it's better to go apart than stay together."

The former couple are determined to maintain an amicable relationship for Lara's daughter, Haden.

Jane added: "All's good. We have a little girl - she has a little girl who's very dear to me. She's 10, and she's doing great ... We have to remain adults, which we have. We keep everybody's - especially Haden's - good in our mind."

The pair had got engaged in 2010 and married on Memorial Day the same year in an intimate ceremony in Sunderland, Massachusetts.

Ireland Baldwin
The former '30 Rock' star, 55, and his wife Hilaria welcomed their first child, Carmen Gabriela, into the world on Friday, and his 17-year-old daughter Ireland, whose mother is Kim Basinger, hopes they will be best friends when they are older and Carmen will learn from her mistakes.

The self-confessed "experimental, wild child" posted a letter full of advice to Carmen on her Tumblr site just hours after her birth, saying: "You have entered the world! Welcome! We have all been anticipating your arrival! By we, I mean a lot of people. Girl, you haven't even met them, but there are a ton of people who care about you."

The blonde model warned her newborn sister about drinking, smoking marijuana, dating, trusting the wrong people, and assured her that she will always be there for her.

Ireland also addressed her own parents' bitter split and how much it hurt her growing up.

She wrote: "Remember your parents will always love you. As a kid, you forget that sometimes. When they are screaming about this and bickering about that. It hurts. Grown ups yell. I don't know why, but they do. No matter what your mom or Dad says or does, simply remember that they love the s**t out of you. NEVER forget it."

She added: "I love you, Carmen. You have been born into one crazy family. You are both lucky and cursed at the same time."

Alec and Hilaria are "overjoyed" after Carmen's birth.

The 29-year-old yoga instructor tweeted on Friday: "We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect (sic)."

The 51-year-old actor is planning to set up a base in the upmarket Notting Hill or St John's Wood areas of the city so he has a permanent place where his seven-year-old daughter Suri - who lives with her mother, Katie Holmes, in New York - can stay with him when he is working in Europe.

A source told the US edition of OK! magazine: "Tom has been planning to set up base in Europe for about four years and he is finally ready to make it happen. He is utterly charmed by London and wants to get a place in Notting Hill or St John's Wood.

"Tom is happy because he thinks putting down roots in London will allow him to take Suri for longer stretches of time.

"He is just trying to do something nice for Suri. She has been grounded in the United States for a long time and Tom wants to make sure she gets to experience life fully and know other cultures. He doesn't want her to grow up to be a narrow minded person who's afraid to use her passport."

Tom is not the only Hollywood star looking to move to London. Brad Pitt and his fiancee, actress Angelina Jolie, could make the move along with their six children - Maddox, 11, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - in 2014 to shoot the sequel to 'World War Z'.

The 47-year-old actor admitted he is an emotional guy and his children - Tallulah Fyfe, 11, and six-year-old twins Sullivan and Darby - with wife Jillian Fink often move him to tears.

He told People magazine: "I'm moved to tears quite a bit, I'm a big crier. Sometimes your kids say something and it's so amazing with insight. Their wisdom, whether they realise it or not, there's something so beautiful in it."

'Grey's Anatomy' star Patrick is also a keen racing driver and cyclist and even gave up sex and shaved his legs to help him achieve his goal of riding 100 miles.

He explained: "Yes, leg shaving has done wonders for my riding; now that I'm celibate it's easier to focus on my training plans. Seriously, I want to ride a century; that's my goal. My longest ride so far is 75 miles."

Patrick - whose hunky 'Grey's Anatomy' character Dr. Derek Shepherd is nicknamed McDreamy - credits cycling for helping him cope with stardom.

He added: "Psychologically, getting back on the bike really helped me. It was hard to weather the success of 'Grey's', but I found I could go for a ride and get centred.

"Cycling also taught me a lot about managing discomfort. When you leave your comfort zone, you learn how to manage your emotions and to stay focused."

‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson says fame is ‘lonely’
The 27-year-old actor finds being a celebrity is alienating because people don't treat him normally anymore but admitted he is happy he didn't become famous sooner.

He told Spain's GQ magazine: "It's strange, you don't have a normal life anymore. You spend much time trying to fight it, but in the end you find another way to live.

"People don't know how lonely you are. In any case, I feel fortunate because success didn't reach me very young, at least, I had the opportunity to have a life before.

"When you become famous, it's easy for some people to hate you just because you are famous. That's why, sometimes, you beat yourself up."

Robert also admitted he was unprepared for the way his life would change after he shot to fame by starring as vampire Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight Saga'.

He said: "I lived in a small apartment when the premiere arrived and didn't even know if the sequels would be made. Then came the weekend of the premiere and it was, ‘Oops, now we must do the sequels.' "

Katie Holmes partied with one of Tom Cruise's best pals, Jamie Foxx

The 34-year-old actress was spotted drinking cocktails and dancing with her ex-husband's good friend Jamie Foxx at a Night of Legends event at the Apollo Theatre in The Hamptons.

A source told People.com that the 'Mania Days' star sat with the 45-year-old 'Django Unchained' actor at a long table in the centre of the party barn at theatre board member Ron Perelman's East Hampton estate, where they were joined by Ellen DeGeneres and Penny Marshall.

The eyewitness said that Katie, who divorced Tom in June 2012 after six years of marriage and secured primary custody of their daughter, Suri, seven, began dancing alongside Jamie when Lenny Kravitz took to the stage to perform 'American Woman' with Bon Jovi and she was also seen taking a sip from the actor's cocktail.

Jamie, who previously said he owed his career to Tom after they starred in 'Collateral' together, later enjoyed a group hug with Katie and Ellen before joining Pharrell on stage for his performance and waving Katie up to the stage to join him.

Other performers including the Roots also got on the stage and began chanting: "Go Katie, go Katie."
The brunette beauty eventually returned to the dance floor and sang along to Robin Thicke's hit 'Blurred Lines' and Jamie's track 'Blame It (On the Alcohol)'.

Russell Simmons was overheard saying to the actress at the end of the charity bash: "I never knew you were such a party girl."

The couple posed on the red carpet with their arms around each other, according to EOnline.com.
A source previously revealed that the duo started dating after meeting on the set of Jenny's VHI chat show 'The Jenny McCarthy Show' in March.

The insider said: "Yes, they recently started dating and are having a lot of fun. They had a blast 4th of July hanging out with a bunch of their friends."

Sparks flew between the couple on Jenny's show when the presenter asked him, "Do you talk dirty while you're having sex" and he replied, "I do."

Jenny admitted shortly before it aired that she was turned on by the interview, saying: "Let's just say we visually give '50 Shades of Grey' a run for its money. It gets steamy. I mean like really steamy.

Being turned on by a guy is always fun but to have it legitimately happen to you on TV is to be turned back into a 12-year-old. By the time we get into the ground-breaking interview, my face turns fifty shades of RED."

Jenny has a son Evan, nine, with her ex-husband John Mallory Asher, whom she split from in 2008.

The 29-year-old yoga instructor, who gave birth to their first child together, Carmen Gabriela, on Friday, was spotted returning to their apartment in Greenwich Village, New York, with the little girl on Sunday afternoon.

The former '30 Rock' star, 55, smiled broadly as he carried the tot in her car seat, covered with a pink blanket, into their building behind Hilaria for the first time.

Shortly after she gave birth at the city's Mount Sinai hospital, the brunette beauty shared her joy on Twitter, writing: "We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our daughter Carmen Gabriela. She is absolutely perfect (sic)."

She later posted a picture of the sunset on the day that her daughter was born.

Hilaria previously revealed plans for a natural childbirth, although she admitted she could choose an epidural if the pain got too bad.

She said: "Right now, I want to do it naturally. That's not to say there's something wrong with the epidural, but that's the way I was raised  - I'm a pretty natural person. But if it does get to the point where I am screaming for the epidural, I have no problems with that. We'll see where it goes."

Alec's other daughter Ireland, 17, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger, posted a heartfelt letter welcoming her new half-sister into the world and revealed she can't wait to meet her.

The '22' hitmaker Taylor Swift appears to have made the remark to close friend Selena Gomez as Harry's band One Direction were on stage at the Barclays Center in New York City to present the award for Best Pop Video.

While band member Louis Tomlinson, 21, was introducing the award, Taylor was filmed turning to the 'Come and Get It' hitmaker - who, ironically, was announced as the winner of the gong - and appeared to utter the words: "Shut the f**k up."

It's not clear whether the 23-year-old starlet made the foul-mouthed jibe, but she later poked fun at heartthrob Harry, 19, by dedicating her own award to him.

Taylor won the Best Female Video prize for her smash hit single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' - which was written about the One Direction star - and thanked the song's subject during her speech.

She said: "I want to thank the fans because I tweeted about this a lot, I really wanted this.

"I also want to thank the person who inspired this song because he knows exactly who he is, because now I've got one of these."
