Country singer Mindy McCready laid to rest in Florida

Mindy McCready
The funeral of the 37-year-old country singer - whose body was discovered on the porch of her home in Arkansas on February 17 after she allegedly shot herself - took place in Crossroads Baptist Church in her hometown of Ft. Myers on Tuesday.

Some 400 mourners, including her devastated family, looked on as a white hearse, escorted by two police cars, brought the singer's wooden casket and dozens of white roses to the service, during which her several of her hits such as 'I'm Still Here' and 'Ten Thousand Angels' were played.

According to People.com, the singer's mother Gayle Inge spoke through tears at the service and told mourners: "Mindy adored her two children. She wanted them to know that. Through much agony and pain, she went to heaven. She is no longer sick. She is healed. Thank you for all who are here. Please pray for those boys. No matter what, she will always be my little girl, sitting in her car seat, singing into a hairbrush. The world was her stage."

Gayle, who arranged what she called "A Celebration of Life," also said in a statement: "Our family is devastated by the loss of our beautiful and talented daughter. Her life, no matter how brief, touched many, and she will forever be our special angel."

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Mindy McCready Children's Trust.
While Mindy - who was mother to sons Zander, six, and 10-month-old Zayne - shot to fame with the release of her debut album 'Ten Thousand Angels' in 1996, her music career was blighted by her personal problems, most recently the death of her long-term partner David Wilson, who shot himself in January.
A second memorial service for her professional colleagues to attend is to take place in Nashville in early March.

Mila Kunis wants to work from home so she can be close to her boyfriend Ashton Kutcher

Mila Kunis
The 'Black Swan' actress is worried about spending too much time apart from Ashton - who she who first met on the set of 'That 70s Show' aged 14 - on film sets and hopes to take on producing roles in the future so she can stay closer to her house in Los Angeles.

She said: "I don't think I can do this three movies a year thing. It's too much. There comes a point in your life where you want to be ... home.

"I want to explore other parts of this industry to see what aspects of it I can get myself into, so that I can ... work out of home maybe.

"Like producing. Then I can have, like, a life, in one location."

The 29-year-old brunette is currently gearing up to shoot the Wachowski Brothers' new sci-fi flick 'Jupiter Ascending' in London with Channing Tatum and Eddie Redmayne, and Ashton is thought to be accompanying her to the English capital.

Mila - who also voices the character of Meg Griffin in 'Family Guy' - also admitted she is only just beginning to get used to the huge interest in her personal life since she got together with Ashton and has learnt to be more careful about what she publicly reveals about her life

She added in an interview with Marie Claire magazine: "I censor myself. Lately, more. But I've always said that it is much easier to be honest than to be caught up in a bunch of lies. At least this way, you know who you are."

Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen have split up

Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen
The 'Midnight in Paris' co-stars have reportedly called time on their two-year romance, a source told Usmagazine.com, though the reasons for the demise of their relationship are not yet known.

Rachel previously revealed she and 44-year-old Michael - who has 14-year-old daughter Lily with ex-girlfriend Kate Beckinsale - started dating after they completed filming on the Woody Allen movie after developing a close friendship.

She said: "Michael and I didn't get together while we were filming 'Midnight in Paris', which I feel strongly about not doing when I'm working. We became quite good friends, which I think is a great way to start.
"I felt very blessed to have made a Woody Allen film in Paris together."

And the 34-year-old beauty previously spoke of her belief that communication was very important to making their romance work.

She said: "You need to trust each other and be able to talk to each other and be best friends.

"Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart - we rack up a lot of air miles - but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not."

Rachel was previously in a two-year relationship with fellow Canadian actor Ryan Gosling but they separated in 2007.

Smith's front man Morrissey believes there would be no war if more men were gay

Morrissey
The outspoken former Smiths singer has branded military action and nuclear weapons as "heterosexual hobbies" and thinks the world would be a better place if same-sex relationships were encouraged more.

In an interview with Rookie magazine, he said: "War, I thought, was the most negative aspect of male heterosexuality. If more men were homosexual, there would be no wars, because homosexual men would never kill other men, whereas heterosexual men love killing other men. They even get medals for it. Women don't go to war to kill other women. Wars and armies and nuclear weapons are essentially heterosexual hobbies."

Not finished with his controversial statements, the staunch animal rights campaigner also believes the "most political gesture" anyone can make is to be vegetarian, because it is a stand against capitalism and corporations.

Morrissey, 53, said: "The most political gesture you can make is to refuse to eat animals. It was so when I was a teenager, and is still the case now."

While the 'How Soon is Now' hitmaker is "encouraged" by companies testing less on animals, he doesn't believe the move is done to appease public concerns as governments won't outlaw cigarettes or tobacco products.

He said: "It isn't difficult these days, because lots of companies have abandoned animal testing, mainly because they know people no longer want animal-tested products - for moral reasons, but also because of the logical realisation that a test on an animal doesn't have any bearing of how human skin will react to the same ingredient.

"[Some of the major companies] have started to turn their back on animal torture, and that's very encouraging. And some companies - Clarins, for example - say they do not test on animals ... But if there were any real concerns for public safety, then cigarettes, which kill most of their customers, would never be sold."

Anne Hathaway has apologized to Valentino for not wearing her original Oscars dress

Anne Hathaway
The 30-year-old actress - who won Best Supporting Actress at the ceremony on Sunday - surprised onlookers when she arrived in a pale pink Prada gown just hours after Valentino released a statement saying they had dressed the 'Les Miserables' star for the high profile event.

Anne explained that she "deeply regrets any disappointment caused" but decided to wear something different after she heard another actress, rumoured to be her co-star Amanda Seyfried, was wearing something very similar to her original choice.

In a statement to People.com, she said: "It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and so I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans.

"Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honour of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself. I deeply regret any disappointment caused."

Italian designer Valentino, 80, is a long-time friend of the actress and designed the custom pink and white wedding dress she wore for her Italian nuptials to Adam Shulman in September.

Anne was styled by celebrity fashion guru Rachel Zoe for the event, who also reportedly helped Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence select her Christian Dior Haute Couture gown.

Irish composer Brian Byrne says working with Barbra Streisand was “bizarre and wonderful”

Barbra Streisand
Working with the great Barbra Streisand is “bizarre but wonderful,” according to an Irish composer whose original song, “If It’s Meant to Be,” is featured on her latest album Release Me.

Brian Byrne was approached a while back by Babs’ people asking if he’d write a song for the diva. His finished product was originally planned for her album What Matters Most which was released in the summer of 2011, but it didn’t make the cut because she went with songs composed by her long-time collaborators Alan and Marilyn Bergman.

Cue 12 months later, and Byrne got the call that she wanted his song for her next collection.  They got together to record it, and Byrne, a prior Golden Globe nominee currently based with the RTE Concert Orchestra in Ireland, was thrilled.

"She was great; tough, but great. I find when you get up on the podium and you work with any singer in the world, you go with what you know. Before you get there you're nervous but when you're up on the stand, it's like driving a car,” he said.

"We recorded the orchestra and we sent the orchestra home. And as an option I worked with her for three hours on the piano.”

The incomparable Barbra also lends her voice on Release Me to the Irish favorite “How Are Things in Glocca Morra” from Finian’s Rainbow.  She first recorded the song 20 years ago for her album Back to Broadway.

George Clooney is jealous of Ben Affleck's good looks

George Clooney
The 51-year-old actor - who co-produced Best Picture Oscar-winning film 'Argo' - is jealous of the political drama's director Ben because of his rugged looks and enviable height.

Asked what he thought of Ben during the Academy Awards ceremony on 'Piers Morgan Tonight' on Sunday night, George joked: "I really like him, except that he's tall and good looking."

Reminded that fans cited George as the star they were most excited about seeing on the big night, the silver fox quipped: "It was me. Until they saw me with the beard. They didn't like it. I noticed that."

The star made Hollywood history by becoming the first person to be nominated in six different categories - Best Picture for 'Argo', Best Adapted Screenplay for 'The Ides of March', Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for 'Good Night, and Good Luck', Best Actor for 'Michael Clayton', 'Up in the Air' and 'The Descendents' and Best Supporting Actor for 'Syriana' - and George is proud to have managed to forge a career in other aspects of filmmaking that he can fall back on as he gets older.

He said: "I am proud of it. I'm proud of it just because if you're going to survive in this business, you have to do other things. So the fact that I've been lucky enough to succeed in a bunch of different [categories] ... I am going to need fall-back jobs as I get older, so it's good to have them."

George - who was accompanied to the ceremony by his girlfriend Stacy Keibler - Ben and co-producer Grant Heslov received a standing ovation as they took to the stage to collect the night's biggest award for the movie, which was presented by US First Lady Michelle Obama.

Mindy McCready's former drugs counsellor believes the suicide of her boyfriend pushed her over the edge

Mindy McCready
The country singer took her own life at her Arkansas home  earlier this month, 36 days after her partner David Wilson passed away in the same place, and Bob Forrest - who worked with the late star on 'Celebrity Rehab' in 2009 - was surprised by her actions.

He said: "I never thought Mindy would take her own life. I always thought if she died it would be at the hands of another because of her past physically abusive relationships with men.

"Mindy had lost custody of her kids before and didn't kill herself then. I absolutely believe that  David Wilson's suicide a month ago pushed her over the edge and caused her to take her own life. This was someone that Mindy had a history and a child with, and they seemed to be working through their issues. It's just so sad that she took her own life."

Before shooting herself, Mindy - who had five-year-old son Zander with ex-boyfriend Billy McKnight, and 10-month-old Zayne with David - killed her pet dog and Bob believes the action demonstrated she wasn't in her "right mind" at the time of her death.

He told RadarOnline.com: "It was rage and anger that caused her to do that.

"Mindy obviously wasn't in her right mind when she picked up the gun on that night. She had underlying psychiatric issues and an addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs - and it was the perfect storm of events colliding all at once."

John Travolta broke out his famous 'Saturday Night Fever' dance moves at Madonna's Oscars party

John Travolta
The 59-year-old actor - who earned an Oscar nomination for his role as disco lover Tony Manero in the 1977 film - wowed an A-list audience by showing he's still got the moves as Bee Gees hit 'Stayin' Alive' played at the bash following the Academy Awards on Sunday.

John - who was accompanied by his wife Kelly Preston - did the famous dance which helped him earn a Best Actor nomination and other celebrity guests "followed and started dancing", according to the New York Post newspaper.

Celebrities at the party, which took place at the Los Angeles home of Madonna's close friend and manager Guy Oseary, included Oscar-winning 'Lincoln' actor Daniel Day-Lewis, Channing Tatum and Selena Gomez.
Meanwhile, the 'Hung Up' songstress took the occasion to dress up, sporting a metallic green Altuzarra dress with black fur trim and a black wig styled glamorously like movie icon Bettie Page.

Posting a picture on Instagram, Madonna, 54, wrote: "And the Oscar goes to #ALTUZARRA. (sic)"
And posting a headshot of her Old Hollywood hairdo, she questioned: "Do blondes really have more fun?"

Stacy Keibler loves George Clooney's beard

Stacy Keibler & George Clooney
The 33-year-old former wrestler has been dating the hunky 51-year-old actor since July 2011 and even though he has grown a thick bushy beard, she is still crazy about him.

When asked what she thought about his facial hair, Stacy told E! News: “I love it.”

Things have gotten serious for the couple and after spending last summer together in George's home in Lake Como, Italy, she moved in to his Los Angeles bachelor pad.

A source said: "She's 100 per cent moved in with him, she spends her summers at Lake Como in Italy and all her stuff is at his place in Los Angeles.

"While she maintains a small rent controlled apartment in West Hollywood, she uses it as a storage space for mementos and personal items. All her clothes are at George's and she never goes home."

George reportedly believes the blonde is the perfect woman for him because she isn't clingy like his past girlfriends.

The insider added: "Stacy is his dream woman. She doesn't call to check in. He calls her more than she calls him."

Russell Crowe and Steve Martin have defended Seth MacFarlane's stint hosting the Oscars

Oscar presenter Seth McFarlane
Oscar presenter Seth McFarlane

The 'Family Guy' creator has come under fire for some of his more daring jokes at the Academy Awards on Sunday night but the 'Les Miserables' star and comic actor Steve - who has hosted the ceremony three times, in 2001, 2003, and 2010 - think he did a great job.

Russell tweeted: "Congratulations @SethMacFarlane , you did great mate, handled it all with grace, #topjob (sic)"

Steve added: "Seth MacFarlane was wonderful and who knew? I did. But then, I wrote "Cruel Shoes"."
'The Office' actor Rainn Wilson was also a fan of the 39-year-old star's presenting style, as were Kristin Chenoweth - who performed a musical number, 'Here's to the Losers', to close last night's show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with Seth - and funnyman Seth Green.

Rainn wrote: "Truly, @SethMacFarlane did a great job. Funny, self-deprecating and surprisingly fresh. (sic)"
Kristin tweeted: "I had a blast tonight singing with @sethmacfarlane. He KILLED it! So good! (sic)"
And Seth added: "Congrats on a great Oscars @SethMacFarlane Thanks for making that so fun #NewClassic (sic)."

The 'Ted' director has been slammed for his controversial jokes, which saw him mock the newly-reconciled relationship between Chris Brown and Rihanna, who originally split in February 2009 after he assaulted her.

Speaking about 'Django Unchained', Seth said: "This is the story of a man fighting to get back his woman, who's been subjected to unthinkable violence. Or as Chris Brown and Rihanna call it, a date movie."

Drawing on the film's foul and racist language for another gag, he said: "I'm told that the screenplay was loosely based on Mel Gibson's voicemails."

A reference to the actor's taped abusive calls to former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Additionally, he poked fun at Ben Affleck, whose admission from the Best Director shortlist had caused surprise ahead of the ceremony.

Speaking about his film 'Argo', he said: "The film's director is unknown to the Academy."

And Seth also joked about 52-year-old George Clooney's preference for younger women.

Discussing nine-year-old Best Actress nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, he said: To give you an idea of how young she is, it'll be 16 years until she's too old for Clooney."

Anne Hathaway will never relinquish her underdog status

Oscar winner Anne Hathaway

Despite picking up the Best Supporting Actress gong at the 85th annual Academy Awards last night, the 30-year-old star insists she hasn't lost touch with reality and still feels like a struggling actress, constantly worrying about her next job.

Asked backstage at the Dolby Digital Theater in Los Angeles whether she was going to stop describing herself as the "underdog", she said: "Officially, never! I'm an actor, man. I mean, this is spectacular, but if you want to get realistic with it and thank you very much for bringing me back down to earth. You're always looking for the next job.

"You always think at the end of one, 'It doesn't matter what's happened before, no one's going to hire me again.' So, I do feel this evening the respect of my peers, and I am going to ride that wave for as long as I can, but I do also have a practical approach to acting, which is got to work, got to work, got to work."

The svelte star, who cut off her long hair and lost 25 pounds in three weeks for her role as prostitute Fantine in Tom Hooper's big screen version of 'Les Miserables', also revealed she is very critical of her acclaimed rendition of 'I Dreamed A Dream' and can only hear the flat notes when she watches it back.

Anne admitted: "I'm impressed by the work around me. I'm impressed by my make-up. I'm impressed by my costume.

"I'm impressed by the haircut and the set and the score and the song, but no, all I can hear is all of the notes that I didn't quite hit. But maybe I'll get over it someday."

The actress, who also won in the same category at the BAFTAs, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards, performed songs from the musical live at the ceremony alongside the rest of the cast including Hugh Jackman and Amanda Seyfried.

He said: "We're parents first and foremost so it's all about taking care of the kids and making sure they're asleep by eight. They're tough to put to bed so we've got to tire them out! But luckily they usually sleep through the night."

Nick also revealed having kids has brought him and Mariah closer together.

He told In Touch magazine: "You can definitely have a family of two people but when you create humans together, it changes things. It's brought us even closer together Being parents creates a whole different dynamic, you make different decisions. But it really solidifies what a family is all about."

The 40-year-old actor - who has kids Violet, seven, Seraphina, four and Samuel, who turns one on February 27, with wife Jennifer Garner - also feels grateful to have a healthy family of his own and admits he is in a "pretty good zone" in his life at the moment.

The 'On The Road' star arrived at the event solo, amid reports she recently split from her on/off boyfriend of four years Robert Pattinson, and wowed onlookers in a strapless Reem Acra gown.

Cousin Robbie Keane and Smiths frontman Morrissey hang out at LA Galaxy game

Robbie Keane and Morrissey

Legendary former Smiths frontman Morrissey was in California this week to watch the L.A. Galaxy soccer team route Club Tijuana in a pre-season friendly.

But the singer made the news after a visit to the the locker room afterward to have his photo taken with equally beloved Irish striker Robbie Keane.

According to Extramustard, the 53-year-old singer-songwriter, who was raised in Manchester by his Irish parents, wrote about his meeting with the Irish soccer player on the fan site True To You where he revealed that his father's cousin was Keane's grandfather, making the pair distant relatives.

Wrote Morrissey: 'It was a joyous head-storm to attend LA Galaxy -v- Club Tijuana last night and to see captain Robbie Keane score in the fourth minute. Why, exactly?

'Well, family tree aficionados will be aware that Robbie and I share the same Irish blood; his late grandfather (Thomas Nolan) being my own father’s cousin. In filial terms the Irish blood, English heart genetic between Robbie and I is evident – his chin is my chin, my chin is his.

'Robbie was raised on Captains Road (as was my mother) in Crumlin (Dublin), before he was shipped out to Tallaght. He is a gentleman of the highest caliber (or, if you must, calibre), and to watch him on the pitch – pacing like a lion, as weightless as an astronaut, is pure therapy. Robbie, the pleasure, the privilege is mine.'

Morrissey's Irish Catholic parents emigrated from Kildare to Manchester in the 1950's, but the celebrated singer has remained in touch with his Irish side and previously described himself as 'nine parts Crumlin and nine parts Old Trafford.'

Keane, a Dublin native, is also highly successful in his field and has reportedly just signed a multi-year contract extension with the Galaxy after helping lead the team to back-to-back MLS championships.

Former ‘Swan’ contestant says ‘Happy Days’ Erin Moran needs serious therapy before show appearance

Erin Moran

A former contestant of “The Swan” has advised “Happy Days” actress Erin Moran to seek therapy before she considers taking part in the show, which promises to turn “ugly ducklings’ into beautiful swans.

‘The Swan’ is set to return this summer for a two-hour celebrity special. White House intern Monica Lewinsky and “Happy Days” star Erin Moran are rumored to be taking part.

Moran has faced a lot of personal problems in recent years and is rumored to be broke and living in a trailer park.

“I think Erin Moran would need a lot of therapy before she does anything like that,” former contestant Lorrie Arias, 42, told RadarOnline. “I have seen that she is unstable.”

Arias appeared on the show in 2005, where she received a $300,000 cosmetic overhaul.

She says she has become a prisoner in her Southern California home since the show and now suffers from bipolar disorder, lupus and depression.

“I had the most surgeries of any Swan in the history of the show and it has all gone to absolute sh-t,” the 42-year-old said. “I am a 300-pound mess of a person who is afraid to go outside.”

Jenny McCarthy embarrassed after she accidentally farted on an airplane

The TV presenter experienced a bout of unexpected flatulence during a flight and had no choice but  to break wind in the cabin.

Her embarrassment was compounded when a fellow passenger recognized her as a famous farter and she had to had to hide under a blanket to spare her blushes and escape the stench.

Speaking to People magazine, she said: "I accidentally farted on an airplane sitting next to a stranger. It was embarrassing because he recognised me and it was a loud and deadly one! I immediately did a little scream and turned on the air vent to get rid of the smell. I then put a blanket over my head, it was horrible."

The 40-year-old blonde beauty is now hosting the 'Jenny McCarthy Show' and she hopes to get some reality TV stars on as guests as she is a huge fan of the trashy genre, especially 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' starring Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.

Jenny said: "I hate to say it but I like watching all of the Kardashian shows. I love looking at their hair and make-up. That's what I stare at the whole time."

‘Ted’ actor Mark Wahlberg says being jailed aged 17 was a ‘sobering’ moment

The 'Ted' star realized he needed to turn his life around as a troubled teen growing up in Boston when he was sentenced to two years in prison for assault and attempted murder after beating a stranger, but says the practicality of actually making a change was a daily struggle.

Speaking on ITV's 'Daybreak', Mark confessed: "There were moments where I knew I needed to get on the right course. Very sobering moments. As a 17-year-old adolescent going to jail, that's a very sobering moment.

"I had a very specific moment where I knew I needed to change my life, but when you decide to change your life then actually doing it, that becomes a very challenging and uphill battle that you need to take on a day-to-day basis."

Mark - who was addicted to cocaine by age 13 - immersed himself in his local youth group, the Dorchester Boys and Girls Club and says the support of its programme leader Mike Joyce was the only thing that helped him get back on track.

He added: "Thankfully the people that I did look to as being role models were still there. The guy Mike Joyce who runs the Boys Club, he was our parish priest, those were the heroes I should have looked to. Unfortunately, I was looking to the wrong people for so long for inspiration."

As a result of his tough upbringing, the 'Broken City' actor and his wife Rhea Durham like to spoil their four young children because he wants them to have everything he never had.

Quizzed about becoming a father, he replied: "It's the greatest accomplishment of my life, I have the greatest wife and the most amazing children. But it's also the most demanding role I'll ever play and between that and work I've been very blessed.

"I like to give them all the things I didn't have and I like to make them appreciate that a lot of people are less fortunate."

The 'Twilight Saga' actress has been confirmed as a presenter for the ceremony at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre, along with Jennifer Garner, Kerry Washington and Jane Fonda.

The quartet join a previously announced list of Oscars presenters which include nominees Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence.

Ben - who received a producer nod for 'Argo' which is also up for Best Picture - showed he is not upset over his Best Director snub by agreeing to take to the stage at the ceremony.

Jessica and Jennifer will compete in the Best Actress category for their work in 'Zero Dark Thirty' and 'Silver Linings Playbook' respectively.

Other confirmed presenters include Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon, who have all won the coveted Best Actress award in the past.

Sandra earned her Best Actress award for 2009 drama, 'The Blind Side', while Reese won in 2005 for her role as June Carter Cash in Johnny Cash biopic, 'Walk the Line'. Nicole was crowned Best Actress for playing Virginia Woolf in 2002's 'The Hours' and Halle earned her Oscar for 2001's 'Monster's Ball'.

The 30-year-old actress was left humiliated after emerging from her car for the 'Les Miserables' premiere in New York in December when her dress rode up and showed that she was wearing no underwear but she was able to laugh along when Russell joked about the incident.

According to HollywoodLife, as he presented her with the Lacoste Spotlight Award at The Costume Designer Guild Awards earlier this week, Russell revealed Anne's childhood desire to become a nun, before adding: “Isn’t that lovely? Then she found out they actually require you to wear underpants when they go out at night.”

However, the relaxed actress merely replied: “I was wondering when you were going to make a joke about that.”

Anne's initial reaction to the incident wasn't so relaxed, she previously revealed it made her sad and she thought that photographers shouldn't have shared her "vulnerable moment" with the world by releasing the pictures.

She said: "It was obviously an unfortunate incident. It kind of made me sad on two accounts. One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it, and do the decent thing, sells it.

"And I'm sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to 'Les Mis', that's what my character is, she is someone who is forced to sell sex to benefit her child because she has nothing and there's no social safety net."

The 'America's Got Talent' host hinted he and Mariah - who tied the knot on April 30 2008 - will visit the family holiday resort to mark the occasion in a "magical" way.

And the couple will take along their twins Moroccan and Monroe, who celebrate their second birthday on the same date, to join in the fun.

Nick said: "We've been planning all year, I'm just going to say one word: magical. "Where dreams come true."

When asked if it was Disneyland, Nick said: "I can't say. But it's going to be a great way to spend their second birthday."

Nick also revealed being busy keeps their marriage alive as he and Mariah relish the time they have together.
He explained to In Touch magazine: "Being busy makes it easier to keep the spark alive. Because when we do get time to see each other, it's like 'Lock the doors, turn on the music, let's go."

Tom Hanks thinks the idea of reincarnation is a ‘bunch of baloney’

The 56-year-old actor explores reincarnation in his new film 'Cloud Atlas' - which also stars Halle Berry and Ben Whishaw - and although he strives to live for the present, Tom doesn't believe in past lives affecting the a person's future.

He told the Metro newspaper: "I think [past lives] is a bunch of baloney and malarkey. I'm known to be cranky in that way.

"Look, I believe in the importance of the right now and although I'm perfectly willing to envelop myself in the mystery of it all.

"As a layman who reads history, I can see that the human condition does not evolve until someone does the right thing, which is a version of saying, 'It's important the karma you put our right now because it's going to affect eternity.' "

Tom - who has children Colin and Elizabeth with ex-wife Samantha Lewis, and sons Chester and Truman with current spouse Rita Wilson - is "proud" of his determination to get where he is today, which all began when he upped sticks from California and drove to New York to begin his career in 1979.

He said: "Individual jobs come and go but the fact that I had the courage to do that is the thing I am most proud of.

"Most people would have been afraid to do that. I was about to have a kid, which I found out halfway across the country. But rather than listen to all the reasons why I shouldn't do it, I adhered to the one reason why I should; it's going to be fun."

Alec Baldwin disappointed by "L's decision to make their personal emails public

"Lawless" actor Shia LaBeouf
"Lawless" actor Shia LaBeouf
The 'Lawless' actor recently left the new Broadway production of 'Orphans', which he was due to star in with Alec, and in a bid to prove he didn't leave because of "creative differences" as had been claimed, Shia tweeted emails between him and various members of the cast and crew including Alec, co-star Tom Sturridge and director Ben Sullivan.

Alec told the New York Times: "You expect communications to be private, because everyone wants this process to be as collegial as possible. Everyone is very sad about what's happened."

The 'Transformers' star posted the email he sent Alec, which was entitled "apology" and read: "A man can tell you he was wrong ... He can apologise, even if sometimes its just to put an end to the bickering. Alec, I'm sorry for my part of a disagreeable situation (sic)."

Alec's response read: "I've been through this before. It's been a while. And perhaps some of the particulars are different. But it comes down to the fact that what we all do now is critical. Perhaps especially for you."
"I don't have an unkind word to say about you. You have my word."

The email was accompanied by Shia's return message: "Same. be well. good luck on the play. you'll be great. (sic)"

The message from Dan read: "I'm too old for disagreeable situations. You're one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. You are who you are. You two are incompatible. I should have known it. This one will haunt me.

You tried to warn me. You said you were a different breed. I didn't get it."

Taylor Swift avoided making eye contact with One Direction’s Harry Styles at the BRIT Awards

Taylor Swift
The 23-year-old singer performed 'I Knew You Were Trouble' at the ceremony - held at London's The O2 venue on Wednesday night - and security were on high alert to ensure the blonde beauty didn't bump into or even look at her ex-boyfriend, whose band One Direction performed their new charity single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)'.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Taylor and her people passed Harry backstage and a security guard barked, 'Look left!' so there was no eye contact."

Harry - who split from Taylor after two months of dating over New Year - was the butt of BRITs host James Corden's jokes throughout the evening, with him making references to the 19-year-old lothario's interest in older women.

James quipped: "Sharon Osbourne's here, Annie Lennox is here. So tell me [Harry], who've you got your eye on, then?"

Sharon, 60, also joined in when she presented an award, joking: "Where is that little Harry Potter boy? Has he got his little magic stick with him tonight? That's his willy."

Later in the evening at the Sony Music after party - held in association with Belvedere vodka - Harry said he had enjoyed his ex-girlfriend's performance, telling website MailOnline: "I thought her performance was really good, she looked great."

One Direction - also including Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik - took home the BRITs Global Success Award at the event.

One Direction filmed part of their new movie in the toilets at the BRIT Awards

One Direction
The boy band debuted their new charity single 'One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)' live at the British awards ceremony and were followed at all times by documentary maker Morgan Spurlock, who is making '1D3D', a film following them around the world, charting their success.

Band member Niall Horan told BANG Showbiz: "Mr. Spurlock is here himself, we're shooting a movie, he's actually just been in the toilet with us, and its gonna be very access all areas! It's coming out in August."
Liam Payne added: "That's when you can see us in the toilet."

The group's new song - which mixes Blondie's hit 'One Way or Another' with the Undertones 'Teenage Kicks' - was recorded for charity Comic Relief and their performance was met with screams from thousands of fans at The O2 in London, and the band were pleased with the reaction.

Zayn Malik added: "It's a charity single, a couple of classic tunes, we're just honoured to be part of it and that we get to do something so amazing for an amazing cause."

The boy band - which also includes Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - didn't leave the event empty handed, being named winners of the new BRITs Global Success Award. They were also excited about the prospect of returning to The O2 venue on Saturday, to kick off their latest world tour.

Niall added: "This was a good start to the week, because on Saturday we open up our tour at the O2, so it's going to be a great year. Very exciting."

After the main BRITs ceremony, Harry and Niall were spotted at their record company, Sony Music's party, held in conjunction with Belvedere Vodka. Harry, 19, was greeted by Syco label head Simon Cowell - who helped put the band together - with a big grin and a hug, and they chatted together for a long time, as well as posing for pictures with fans.

Mariah Carey is not a diva at home says husband Nick

Mariah Carey
The 42-year-old 'Touch My Body' singer - who shares 22-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her husband Nick Cannon - has no problem cleaning up after their children and loves to cook for her family.

Nick, 32, told InTouch magazine: "(She) does everything everyone else does.

"You can definitely have a family of two people, but when you create humans together, it changes things. It's brought us even closer together. Being parents creates a whole different dynamic; you make different decisions. But it really solidifies what a family is all about."

The 'America's Got Talent' host also revealed that his glamorous wife is very low maintenance when she isn't working but always likes her hair to look good.

He said: "No. But she doesn't ever wear that much makeup on TV - it's all about the hair for her. But at home, she's always just chillin' with no makeup and her hair tied up. I mean, you just can't be dolled up 24/7. Besides, she's my wife, she really doesn't need to be dolled up for me."

Nick recently admitted he is a strict parent to the twins.

He said: "My kids - it's a blessing - they're extremely disciplined. They try [misbehaving] with other people because everyone gives them so much attention, but when it comes to my wife and I, we only have to say something once.

"We ask them to have a seat, they sit down, cross their legs and put their hands in their lap. I hope it lasts!

"I've got the loudest voice in the house, so they've always responded to that ever since they were newborns. They hear my voice and they freeze."

Ed Sheeran says Sir Elton John calmed his nerves at the Grammys by making a penis joke

Ed Sheeran and Elton John
The 21-year-old singer duetted with the legendary musician for a rendition of his hit 'The A Team' at the American awards show earlier this month but admits he got an attack of stage fright when he walked out in front of the star-studded audience.

However, Elton, 65, put Ed at ease by making a gag about flashing his willy to try and relax him.

Ed recalled: "I knew I was not going to win at the Grammys so I was focusing on the performance. In the rehearsals it was fine but when I got onto the stage and there was a lot of people watching I was kind of a bit nervous. Then Elton called me over and said, 'This is the worst time to get your penis out.' That completely threw all of my nerves and I just played."

The singer/songwriter was at the BRITs at The O2 in London on Wednesday night to present the British Male prize to winner Ben Howard and he finds that awards show more "nerve-racking" than any other because it's in his home country and his loved ones are all watching.

Speaking before the ceremony to UK station BBC Radio 1, Ed - who won two BRITs in 2012 - said: "I think the BRITs has been the most nerve-racking for me because it is my home country like all my friends are tuning into see it, the Grammys has less people staying up to 5 in the morning. Everyone I went to school with sits down and watches (the BRITs) on TV."

Kristen Stewart stole a pair of shoes from the 'Twilight Saga' set for Nikki Reed

Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale
Nikki loved her character Rosalie Hale's footwear so much she wanted to keep them after the vampire series wrapped but didn't want to take them herself.

But when Kristen went back to re-shoot scenes for the final instalment 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' she got the shoes for her co-star.

Nikki told the new US issue of OK! magazine: "I feel guilty about taking things but Kristen knew I loved my baseball shoes and she went back to get them during re-shoots."

The final movie was released last year and 24-year-old Nikki admits she misses her castmates, which include Robert Pattinson, Kellan Lutz, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene, because they all became so close while making the movies.

She added: "I miss my cast and feeling like we are a family."

National Enquirer’s imagination - Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Colin Farrell’s love triangle

Colin Farrell filming 'A Winter's Tale in NYC'
If it’s a laugh you’re looking for then go no further than the weekly supermarket rag the National Enquirer, which just dropped a doozy of a story about the alleged Colin Farrell-Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt love triangle which was first floated by Perez Hilton a few weeks ago.

The Enquirer, of course, has taken things many steps further, alleging that poor Brad has turned into a Taco Bell-loving lush because Angie says Colin is better in the sack.

“Brad caught Angie red-handed, admitting that she thinks he’s a so-so lover,” a source told the infamous tabloid. “Ever since then, he’s been on a drunken rampage, consuming copious amounts of his favorite beer and red wine.”

Making matters worse, Brad sought comfort food from a Taco Bell last month in the early morning hours, only to discover the joint was closed.  He then stumbled off into the night, alone. Boo-hoo!

Angelina and Colin starred in the Oliver Stone turkey Alexander a few years ago, but their behind the scenes sexual chemistry is something that Angie just can’t forget according to Perez and, now, the Enquirer.  She confided this fact to none other than her most recent ex-hubby, Billy Bob Thornton.
Brad overhead the conversation, the Enquirer says, and the rest is vintage tabloid trash.

“Brad left their house in Los Angeles one day in January to run errands. But he forgot his wallet and headed back home after only a few minutes,” the trusty source confided.

“As he walked into their bedroom, Brad overheard Angie say that he was a great guy, but Colin was the best lover she’d ever had!

“Then Angie told Billy Bob that her love life with Brad had gone cold, and she missed the wild, passionate sex she’d had with Colin!”

So Brad freaked, and forced Angie to tell all.

“She told Brad that she fell in love with Colin because he was dangerous and spontaneous. She also copped to sending Colin sexy pictures, dirty voice-mails and sexually explicit letters during their fling,” says the Enquirer.

“Angie admitted that she had hoped for a future, including marriage and kids, with Colin, but he wasn’t ready. She couldn’t deny to Brad that he was her second choice!”

There’s more un-reliably sourced gossip, but we’ll stop there. Colin, as you’ll see from our picture, is working away in New York these days, gallantly riding his white horse in New York on the set of his film Winter’s Tale.

Angie and Brad, meanwhile, are hopefully working on their “problems,” including Brad’s passion for Mexican fast food!

Ed Sheeran was banned from his own Grammy Awards party

Ed Sheeran
The 22-year-old singer - who performed with Sir Elton John at the annual event in Los Angeles earlier this month - was turned away from his bash after the ceremony by strict security guards, but they finally realised their mistake and let him join his friends and family.

He said: "The weirdest thing for me was that I couldn't get into my own after party. The bouncers said no to me. Which I thought was fair enough, so I stood around for a bit and was eventually let in."

And the 'A Team' hitmaker was shocked when he got into the party and found the wildest people there were his parents Imogen and Joe.

He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Every single person from Katy Perry to John Mayer to Selena Gomez kept coming up to me saying how cool my mum and dad are and how they've been buying everyone tequila all night!

"I don't know where my parents are getting this wild streak from. They did go to bed at 2am though."
Ed - who is up for four prizes at the BRIT Awards tonight (20.02.13) in London - doesn't take after his parents in the partying stakes as it was previously claimed he usually relaxes after gigs playing his favourite board games and drinking squash.

A source said: "After a show Ed just likes to hang out, relaxing with a game of Monopoly. He's not into boozing. He drinks fruit and barley."

Paris Hilton spent her birthday in hospital with her boyfriend

Paris Hilton
The reality TV star celebrated turning 31 on Sunday by hitting the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe, California with partner River Viiperi, but the celebratory occasion soon turned sour as the 21-year-old male model ended up hospitalised after a scary skiing accident.

Paris explained on her Twitter account: "Just got out of the hospital with @RiverViiperi. He was doing a high jump while skiing & the ski sliced in to his leg! 19 stitches! Oww! (sic)"

The blonde beauty played the doting girlfriend as she sat by her boyfriend's hospital bedside, but admitted that she "almost passed out" after seeing the nasty cut on his leg.

She wrote: "Such a scary day on the slopes today. After seeing the gash on @RiverViiperi's leg, I almost passed out. I have never seen a cut that deep in my life. He is so brave, I can't even imagine the pain he went through today. (sic)"

River was clearly grateful to have Paris by his side, tweeting the Hilton Hotel heiress: "Thank you for being there for me my Love, your the best Girlfriend in the world!! I'm so lucky to have you! #love (sic)"

After the ordeal, Paris salvaged what was left of her birthday as the couple flew home to Los Angeles for a night in.

She added: "Can't wait to get home to play with my puppies & watch movies in bed with @RiverViiperi. Chill birthday night."

Alec Baldwin has blamed the paparazzi photographer for their recent altercation

Alec Baldwin
The '30 Rock' star has been accused of racially abusing retired New York Police Detective (NYPD) G. N. Miller, after he found him staking his Manhattan home on Sunday trying to gain information on Alec's pregnant wife, yoga teacher Hilaria Thomas, 28 - who is being sued by a student.

However, Alec insists he didn't abuse the photographer and claims he is the victim.

Alec,54, told Gothamist: "This guy was right up in my face as I crossed University Place. I get to the other side of the street, and he bumped into me.

"He banged into me with his shoulder, because he was right on top of me with the camera. In my mind, it was deliberate. I've had that happen before. It happens sometimes, because they want to bait you, they want you to do something.

“My wife is pregnant and I'm trying to make sure she has as much peace as possible. Who knows what these people can do?

"While police were here, you'd figure that'd be an opportune time for this guy to really attempt to tar me in some way. But there was no mention of anything I said to him. No one said anything about me saying the n-word or taunting him or anything. So it was after the fact. He wants to say I used some racial slur against him."

Following the altercation, Alec is filing a formal complaint against Miller - who he refers to as "Ralston" in a series of tweets.

In a post now deleted, Alec wrote on Twitter: "Moments after I tweet about the Post, Ralston, the ex-crackhead "photographer" shows up at my door w 1 of Murdoch's nieces in tow.

"Ralston claims he's ex NYPD!! That can't be!!! Ex NYPD don't become crackhead, ex jailhouse paparazzi! (sic)"

He also thanked officers who came to his home and took his statement about being "assaulted".

He continued in tweets that still remain on his page: "Thank u 2 NYPD officers who came to my home 2day so that I could file a formal complaint against NY Post "photographer" who assaulted me (sic)"

'Side Effects' star Rooney Mara isn't fazed by nude scenes

Rooney Mara
While the 'Side Effects' actress isn't a fan of gratuitous nudity in movies, she isn't adverse to stripping off onscreen because she doesn't think it's a big deal.

She told Interview magazine: “I certainly don’t want to be involved in anything that is gratuitous, but I don’t think the human body is something to be ashamed of. Every other person on the planet has the same parts as I do. So seeing them shouldn’t be a huge shock to most people.”

While she isn't worried about baring all oncreen, Rooney sometimes stresses about what would happen her latest work if she died during filming.

She said: “Sometimes I think about that—like, ‘Okay, if I died right now, would they have to reshoot the whole film? Or would they be able to edit around it.’ Then I think through the scenes that are left to shoot, and weigh if they would be able to finish it or not.”

Rooney also revealed she tries to eat healthily although junk food can be her downfall.

The 27-year-old actress explained: “I try to eat food that hasn’t been washed in ammonia and then packaged in the shape of breaded dinosaurs filled with cheese—even though those are very tasty. I like to eat food that can actually make it through the 20-plus feet of my small intestine.”

A memorial service for Mindy McCready will be held in Nashville

Mindy McCready
The 37-year-old country singer's body was discovered on the porch of her home in Arkansas on Sunday after she allegedly shot herself and friends and contemporaries will come together to celebrate her life in the coming days.

A statement from Music City News Media & Marketing said: "To complement formal family arrangements, preliminary plans are being made by Mindy's 'friends in music' to arrange a memorial in Nashville in the coming days."

Mindy's body was found after Cleburne County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a gunshot from the house.

A statement from the sheriff's department read: "Ms. McCready was pronounced dead at the scene from what appears to be a single self-inflicted gunshot wound.

"At this time family members have been notified of the incident. Ms. McCready will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and the matter will be fully investigated."

Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is "100 per cent" about One Direction's Harry Styles

Taylor Swift
The US singer had an on/off relationship with the One Direction hunk last year, with them initially splitting in April when he was spotted kissing a model in Australia.

They then reconciled for two months at the end of the 2012, but split over New Year while holidaying in the British Virgin Islands. Now a friend has confirmed Taylor's single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' - one of her famous break up songs about her exes - is about their romance.

The source told RadarOnline.com: "Taylor was crushed over Harry the first time they dated, and like she always does, she penned a song about him to deal with her broken heart.

" 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is one hundred percent about Harry. She knew he was young and popular with the ladies and wasn't ready for a serious relationship, but somehow hoped she could make it work."
The lyrics to 'I Knew You Were Trouble' feature the lines: "I knew you were trouble when you walked in / So shame on me now / Flew me to places I'd never been /  Until you put me down."

In another part of the song, Taylor sings:  "When your saddest fear comes creeping in / That you never loved me / or her or anyone or anything."

The source added Taylor was thrilled when she got back together with the pop hunk in October, adding: "She was head over heels for Harry so even though she knew he was bad news for her, she gave him another chance."

Taylor is currently preparing to go on tour. Meanwhile Harry - who has remained single since his split from Taylor - on Monday night spotted at the O2 and War Child BRIT Awards Concert with Muse at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in London, where he was  chatted with another of his ex-girlfriends, model Cara Delevingne, as well as flirting with Cara's best friend, singer Rita Ora, in the VIP bar.

Justin Bieber shows he’s no 'Baby' on wild night in Dublin after O2 Arena gig

Bieber pictured in a Dublin Club

Justin Bieber celebrated the opening night of his European “Believe” tour in Dublin with a night out on the town. Relishing the chance to order booze legally, his table ordered bottles of Jack Daniels and Grey Goose vodka at the Grafton Lounge and Everleigh Gardens on Harcourt Street.

Bieber and his entourage were unwinding in town after a sell-out gig down the river at the O2 Arena. The young star and a 30-strong entourage claimed the VIP sections in both clubs.

A source to the Evening Herald told, “He was flanked by a team of six burly security guards and arrived in a fleet of Mercedes and Range Rover jeeps. Justin stayed till about 1am in the Grafton Lounge before he was whisked off to Everleigh Gardens where he stayed for a good while. He was in flying form, he was even up dancing at one stage and looked like he was having a ball.”

The last time Bieber toured in Ireland he wasn’t old enough to go out on the town and enjoy himself. Although his mom did venture out to Lilly’s Bordello but Bieber was left at home at the Powerscourt Ritz Carlton.

But don’t fear, Bieber and his crew didn’t head out on an empty stomach. He ordered $800 worth of Nando’s chicken before he went on stage, including of PERi-PERi Chicken Wings, Burgers, Wraps, Pittas and sides from Nando's on Mary's Street according to RTE.
