The 'Shame' actor suffered with bad hair and skin when he was a teenager and never imagined he would end up as a sex symbol.

He told the latest edition of ELLE UK magazine: "I've never really thought of myself as good looking. I think of myself as, you know, alright.

"I used to have bad acne as a teenager, so all of this is a bonus now, the fact that I don't have pimples any more.

"And my hair was also, you know, unfortunate. I had really long hair. I mean, I tied it back most of the time, but I had all these frizzy bits coming off the top."

Michael - who claimed he was flattered to be named the eighth sexiest male movie star worldwide in a poll earlier this year - has previously said he knows a lot of girls only talk to him because he is famous.

He explained: "You become a lot more successful in terms of, like, talking to a girl. She's all of a sudden more interested in me. I know that three years ago, she would've walked away after two sentences left my mouth.

"I remember I was sitting at this table and I was talking to this girl. I was like, 'God, I am so boring right now.' But she was like, 'That's so interesting!' I was like, 'You know what? Five years ago, this would not have been interesting to you.' "

The 'Smash' actress - who is thought to have been separated from her husband Nick Cokas for six months - was pictured locking lips with father-of-three Michael Morris, a director on her now-cancelled TV show, earlier this month and she is reportedly "upset" by the transgression.

A source told People.com: "This is a very hard time for her. She's very upset.

"Katharine cares about Michael. But she still cares about Nick too. She didn't mean for anyone to be hurt."

Katharine's paramour is married to actress Mary McCormack, with whom he has three young daughters aged between two and nine.

It's reported that Mary learned of her husband's steamy clinch with the 'American Idol' star just 24 hours before the pictures surfaced and she responded by asking him to leave their marital home.

However, the couple were spotted together on Saturday and Michael was seen sporting his wedding ring.

Katharine met Michael on the set of musical drama 'Smash', which was canceled by NBC in May after two low-rated seasons.

Horan said, “I wish when fans get 20 seconds with you, they would just sit and have a quick chat rather than just go, ‘Arrggghhhh,, arrggghhhh!’ in your face.”  “I just want to have a chat with them and hear what they have to say,” he said, according to Capital FM.

Although he may want to be down to earth when he meets fans, he wanted the group’s music video to be so ordinary. He told Capital FM about the video, “It’s kinda like the song. It’s not very energetic. It kinda explains the story of my life - hence the name of the song.” He continued, “We don’t really like doing normal music videos because if you’re going to do a video, you shoot a video every few months, you want it to be good.” Fans can expect an “event” for the music video to “Story Of My Life,” according to Horan.

Horan said, “our videos have become a bit of an event so we sit down with the whoever’s going to direct it and actually have a chat and let them know exactly what we want to do in the video.”

One Direction is currently in Australia on their “Take Me Home” tour. Their upcoming album titled “Midnight Memories” will debut the new song “Story of My Life.” The new single, which is more somber than the band's summer hit “Best Song Ever,” is available to download now and “Midnight Memories” will be released on November 25, 2013.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kristen broke his heart, he's not been the same since she cheated.

He told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Oh my God. The story is ridiculous. First of all, I've never known Lindsay to ever, ever, ever have a glass of wine."

He added: "I've see and speak to Lindsay constantly and every time I do, she is of clear mind and by no means do I have any suspicion of her relapsing in any way."

Michael confirmed that Lindsay recently parted ways with her sober coach, but she has now hired a new person to help her stay on the wagon.

He said: "She has her life coach AJ with her and that's the same thing as a sober coach. Her sober coach from Cliffside lives in LA so they aren't living with her in New York City anymore.

"Maybe she goes out at night but who doesn't? She's up in the morning and she's doing the right thing."
A spokesperson for the actress also dismissed the rumors and said she "continues to succeed in her recovery."

The 'Applause' singer had been the subject of legal action by her old friend and roommate Jennifer O'Neill - who alleged she was cheated out of overtime wages for a few weeks in 2009 and 13 months from February 2010 - but she has now settled the case before it went to trial.

A court order dismissing the case, which was due to be heard on November 4, was issued on Monday, three days after lawyers had notified District Judge Paul G. Gardephe they were close to a settlement.

In her case, O'Neill - who claimed to be on call 24 hours a day, every day - said she had to sleep in the same bed as her famous employer as she was never given her own hotel room because Gaga insisted on having her close for "spontaneous, random matters in the middle of the night." She also said she was not given breaks or meals while working on the star's Monster Ball World Tour.

In her taped deposition last year, Gaga slammed her ex-assistant as a "hood rat" and insisted she didn't deserve overtime pay.

She said: "You don't get a schedule. You don't get a schedule that is like you punch in and you can play ... at your desk for four hours and then you punch out at the end of the day. This is when I need you, you're available.

"[Jennifer is a] f***ing hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn't earn.

"She thinks she's just like the queen of the universe. And, you know what, she didn't want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, I'm the queen of the universe every day.

"She knew there was no overtime, and I never paid her overtime the first time I hired her, so why would she be paid overtime the second time?"

Jennifer, 41, filed the lawsuit for unpaid overtime in Manhattan federal court in December against Gaga's Mermaid Touring company.

A source told RadarOnline: "Rob's team felt he needed a wake up call [and] that now is the time to get extremely serious about his career, even if that means quitting the womanizing and music-making that have defined his life in Los Angeles so far.

"They really don't want him throwing this opportunity down the toilet."

The 27-year-old actor shot to fame in 2008 after landing the role of Edward Cullen in the romantic fantasy film, but his team are worried he'll sign up to a movie at the end of this year that won't be as successful and could play havoc with his future career.

The source explained: "Rob has to pick his next movie before the end of the year, and frankly, everyone is worried he's going to screw this up.

"There's this very strong sense from his team that he needs to find a serious movie, like Brad [Pitt] did with 'Seven' that pulls him out of the cheesecake territory. He can't screw this up!

Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen seven godparents for Prince George.

The royal couple have decided to bestow the honour on "loyal" old school and university friends as well as William's cousin Zara Tindall, rather than William's brother Prince Harry and Catherine' sister Pippa Middleton as was expected.

The official statement from Kensington Palace, made just ahead of three-month-old George's christening at the Chapel Royal at St James' Palace today (23.10.13), listed Oliver Baker - a university friend from St Andrews in Scotland - David Jardine-Patterson, who attended Marlborough college with the Duchess, and Earl Grosvenor - the son of the Duke of Westminster - as godparents.

Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, William and Catherine's private secretary between the years of 2005-2012, was also named as a godfather, as were The Hon. Mrs. [Julia] Michael Samuel, a close friend of William's late mother Princess Diana, and William van Cutsem, a childhood friend of the duke.

William's cousin Zara Tindall - known as Zara Phillips before her marriage to England rugby player Mike Tindall - is the only family member to receive the honor.

Meanwhile, the top secret guest list for today's low-key christening was also unveiled, and surprisingly didn't include some key members of the royal family.

According to Sky News, only George's immediate family including his parents, great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, great-grandfather Prince Philip, grandfather Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall and uncle Prince Harry will be attending the special occasion.

The christening will be performed by the Most Rev Justin Welby. George's lengthy list of godparents isn't unusual for the royals, since his father Prince William has six.

The 30-year-old actress attended the Victory Fund Champagne Brunch in Beverly Hills with her husband Adam Shulman on Sunday, Oct 20, but she failed to hold back the tears when she took to the stage to introduce cancer specialist Dr. Beth Karlan, who recently helped her friend beat the disease.

With Adam by her side and her eyes welling up with tears, she told the crowd: "On a personal note, Dr. Karlan helped a beloved friend of mine ... excuse me.

"She helped a beloved friend of mine battle cancer recently and I couldn't be more grateful to her. Dr. Karlan, you are more than just my friend's doctor. You're a friend and ally. And I'm happy to say that together you kicked that cancer's ass."

It's not the first time Anne has broken down in tears this year as her emotions got the better of her at the Oscars in February after she picked up an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her tear-stained portrayal of Fantine, who she played in the big screen adaptation of musical 'Les Miserables.'

Speaking to reporters backstage, she began her speech by saying: "It came true."

She was then asked to explain what she meant and came over all emotional before adding: "I had a dream."
The brunette beauty then picked up her award and continued: "And it came true. And that can happen and that's wonderful. And so that was all I was saying, was that it can and it did."

A source told FOX411: "Amanda is being given two passes a week to go to the beach, or out to eat and do things like that, accompanied by a professional handler. She is making great progress."

The 'Easy A' star was moved to The Canyon treatment facility in Malibu at the end of September after spending two months at UCLA Medical Center and has reportedly been told she will "lead a long, normal
life" as long as she continues to take her medication.

Amanda's mother Lynn was granted a temporary conservatorship over her daughter in August, shortly after she was taken to a psychiatric unit by police officers, who arrested her after she struck up a small fire in the driveway of a stranger's home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles.

Amanda's parents released a statement about her progress two months ago and said they were upbeat about her recovery.

Colin Farrell has opened up about his early drug addiction

He told 'The Late Late Show': "'Miami Vice' wrapped ... and I was put on a plane and sent to rehab."

The 'Seven Psychopaths' star admitted he was "out of control" because of his "high tolerance", and he struggled to learn when to stop because he didn't know his limits.

He added: "I'd gotten out of control - for years I could indulge in certain things ... I had quite a high tolerance for various drugs for years, I thought.

"It accumulated to the point where I couldn't put my foot on the brake anymore."

Colin has discussed his addictions in the past, admitting it was extremely difficult when he went sober and tried to adjust to life without being "drunk and high".

He previously said: "I began to come out of the haze that I was in and had burrowed myself into so deeply.

"Basically, I'd been fairly drunk or high since I was 14. I was very drunk and high for 16 years, so it was a tough life change, and I was dying. I'm one of the lucky ones."

Ellen was so touched by news of Sarah's kind gesture, which saw her pay the soldiers' $27.25 lunch bill, that she presented her with a cheque for $10,000 on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

She also reimbursed her for the bill and gave her a brand new 50-inch TV.

Stephen Baldwin thinks his religious faith had a negative impact on his career

The 47-year-old actor, who avoided going to jail earlier this year after reaching a deal to pay back a $350,000 tax bill in installments, believes his outspokenness about being a born-again Christian "creeped" casting directors out over the past 10 years, but hopes his new movie will turn things around for him.

The 'I'm in Love with a Church Girl' star told Fox News: "I ran into an old friend of mine - very high-profile casting director - a couple years ago who said to me, 'Look, I just want to say I'm sorry because I've brought your name up in the room a couple times and they were like ' you've got to be kidding.'"

He added: "I just think that probably when somebody calls themselves born again and kind of goes out there in a pretty radically zealous way, professes their glee about that, it can creep people out. "Dracula's" Jonathan Rhys Meyers thinks he looks like a bad guy

The 'Dracula' star Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who has been to rehab three times for alcohol addiction, is always looking for "some sort of balance" in his life, but believes his inner conflict makes him a better actor.

The 36-year-old star said: "I'm cast as a bad guy because I look like one. And I can convey that sense of conflict because I'm a guy who lives with conflict a lot of the time. It's not something that I have to search for - that sense of looking for some sort of peace, looking for some sort of balance. It's evident in me regardless of what I do, so maybe it just suits the parameters of Dracula."

The Irish actor has had a tough time over the past 12 months since signing on to star in the new TV series, which is produced by both NBC and Sky.

He told the Sunday Independent's Life magazine in Ireland: "I've gone to two funerals. My grandfather and my best friend passed away during this production. So I went back and put them to rest. I don't get many breaks."

Jonathan insists he is glad to be back on the small screen even though he needed a break after wrapping up production on 'The Tudors' in 2010.

He said: "I signed on to 'The Tudors' thinking it was only going to be one season. I didn't want it to be four seasons. I didn't expect it to be. When I found out, I was slightly horrified.

"Let me tell you, doing a series is like making four movies at once. You have a lot more room to explore a character, but you've got much more room to fall over on you're a**e as well. By season three of our, I was not happy doing it."

Rory McIlroy has taken to social media to confirm his love affair with tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki is back on track.

The former world number one golfer tweeted his congratulations after Wozniacki won the Luxembourg Open on Sunday.

Media observers say the public declaration of ‘love’ in the tweet is the surest sign yet that sport’s hottest couple are back together.

The tweet comes after weeks of speculation that McIlroy had split with the Danish star amid rumors he was texting Irish model Nadia Forde.

But McIlroy, second at the Korean Open on Sunday, called Wozniacki ‘my girl’ in the tweet after the 21st win of her career.

He wrote: “#21 #luxembourg #mygirl @CaroWozniacki.”

Various Irish papers report that it is the first confirmation that the pair are still an item after weeks of media speculation on their future.

Wozniacki also denied the stories last week when she said: “I’m so tired of the rumors.

“They occur every time Rory and I are apart a few days or do not write on Twitter.

“There is nothing in it, and from now on I just think that I will keep my private life private.

“All is well and then there’s not much more to say about it the relationship.

“I just want to be allowed to live my life off the court without all the speculation.”

The Danish star also told her Twitter followers that she believes McIlroy is a dead ringer for One Direction singer Harry Styles.

The 36-year-old actor provided some extra in-flight entertainment while onboard Delta #1715 from New York City to New Orleans last Sunday, when he took his shirt off to reveal his toned physique following his fellow air traveler's unexpected sickness.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "About two-thirds of the way into the flight, a young lady in front of him in 1D vomited toward her window, which then spewed back all over Ryan's beige cashmere sweater. The vomit looked like it was largely made up of red wine, and it made a huge stain on Ryan's sweater. So he took it off!"

The flight attendants discreetly saw to the incident, but were reportedly giggling amongst themselves once the mess had been cleared up.

And they couldn't resist ogling the toned physique of Ryan - a previous recipient of People's Sexiest Man Alive title.

A source explained: "They tried to pretend like nothing happened. The vomiting was quiet, and I think they were all going to try to just hide what happened, but the smell was rancid! Also, you couldn't help but notice Ryan taking off his shirt!"

Upon arrival, Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively were ushered off the plane by a member of airport security.

‘Captain Phillips’ star Tom Hanks helped Matthew McConaughey lose weight

The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star revealed he called the two-time Oscar winner for advice before slimming down to play real-life AIDS victim Ron Woodroof in the new film.

He told People.com: "I actually called Tom and had a great conversation with him about what he learned about losing weight for 'Philadelphia' and 'Cast Away.' And I consulted a nutritionist about the best way to do this."

The 43-year-old actor was 185 lbs. before the drama and was determined to shock people with his transformation.

He said: "I was going around and people were going, 'Hey, are you feeling all right?' But then I hit 135 lbs. I ran into somebody and they didn't just ask if I was all right, they said, 'My God, we need to get you some help.' And I thought, 'There we go. That's the perfect spot.' "

Matthew, who has two sons, Levi, five, and Livingston, eight months, and daughter Vida, three, with his wife Camila, isn't worried that the weight loss will affect his health in the long run.

He said: "I fed myself good food, just not much of it. I found through this journey that the human body is much more resilient than we give it credit for.

"Somebody told me they heard a story about how I didn't have any energy on set, but I was kind of uncontainable with energy. All the acuity, energy and power I lost from the neck down transferred to the neck up."

‘Gravity’ star Sandra Bullock may adopt again

The 49-year-old star has reportedly begun filing paperwork to adopt another child to give her three-year-old son Louis - whom she adopted in 2010 as a newborn - a sibling to grow up with.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: "Being a mum means more to her than anything - her Oscar, her career, her fame, her fortune. She was born to be a mom. She has a son and soon she may have a daughter."

The 'Gravity' actress' first adoption took four years to complete and much like that experience, pals close to Sandra insist she isn't looking for special treatment despite her worldwide fame.

The insider told National Enquirer magazine: "Just because she's rich and famous doesn't mean that Sandra expected, wanted or got any preferential treatment. That is not her style."

Perhaps a sign the Oscar-winning star may be adding to her brood, pals claim she has cleared her schedule for the next year - except for a voice role in new animated comedy 'Minions'.

The source added: "Other than that, she just has a tiny handful of projects that haven't even made it to the script stage yet. Her schedule is wide open."

One Direction is still taking the world by storm, wowing girls Down Under with a sold out concert tour and laying the groundwork to promote their next big project, another CD due to drop next month.

Can’t blame them for making hay while the sun shines, and to that end the five guys released baby pictures of themselves last week to link with their next single, “Story of My Life.”

The Irish band member – and definitely the most talented – Niall Horan looks like a real cutie in his combat gear taken at the family home in Co. Westmeath.  His newer self, all of 20 years young, is looking pretty smart too, clad in Ray-Ban specs while heading to the next show on the 1D express in Auckland, New Zealand.

Their tour finishes up in Japan next month, with no other shows booked until three sold-out ones in Dublin’s Croke Park next May, but that’s bound to change.

A source said: “Liam is telling pals he knows someone in the SAS [the British Army's Special Air Service] who will rescue them.

“He’s saying they could be in and out in a flash and they won’t need to abseil down the building because there are drain pipes.

“As they belong to the both of them, he thinks he has every right.

“He’s missing them a lot and desperately wants to see them.

“He was serious about stealing them back.

“It’s not like he can call Nicole and ask to see them - they’re definitely not on speaking terms."

Should Liam not go through with his plan then the 41-year-old singer is expected to be locked in a custody battle with Nicole - who was left devastated this summer when it emerged Liam had fathered a child with US journalist Liza Ghorbani - over their sausage dogs when they start divorce proceedings.

A source added to The Sun newspaper: “Given how much he’s talking about them, he’ll definitely be asking to share custody of them when divorce proceedings start.”

The former Oasis frontman was recently said to be missing his two canines so much he has been visiting pet shops in Primrose Hill, north London, to get his "doggy fix."

"He often wakes his personal trainer, Mark, in the middle of the night because he's so lonely that he'd prefer them to work out together than be on his own."

Harry favors being away from bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne when the group have some downtime, so he is paying to fly his father Des and sister Gemma out to join him in Australia so he has more company on the road.

The source explained: "He wants people to chill with away from the band."

It was previously claimed Harry stays with pal Nick Grimshaw when he's in London because he hates being alone in his own house.

A source said: "Harry may have splashed the cash on his house, but if no one's sleeping over he hates staying there. It's depressing for him having the whole place to himself. He's used to having his bandmates around because they're normally flying all over the world, staying in hotels.

"So when he has free time in London, he now heads over to Nick's place."

The redhead accidentally revealed she was using the dating tool, which allows users to rate potential love matches based purely on their looks, when she stumbled across her 25-year-old brother, Michael Jr., on the site.
