Katy Perry sent a text to Kristen Stewart to assure her she wasn't dating Robert Pattinson because she wouldn't "disrespect her".

The 28-year-old singer grew close to Kristen's ex-boyfriend Robert in the wake of their split in June, and Katy wanted to tell Kristen that nothing was going on between the pair and she was just being a good friend to the heartbroken actor.

The 'Part of Me' hitmaker insists their friendship wouldn't have been an issue if she didn't have breasts.
Speaking to the new UK issue of ELLE magazine: "I sent her a text message saying,' 'I know you've seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of t*ts.'"

Rumours of a romantic attachment between Katy and Robert became rife after the pair were spotted at a Bjork performance at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles in June.

This came shortly after the British star spent a week at Katy's house following his split from Kristen who he dumped after four years together for a second time after discovering she was back in touch with 'Snow White and The Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders, who she had an affair with last year.

Katy was previously married to British comedian Russell Brand but they split in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage and their divorce was finalized in July 2012. She has since embarked on a relationship with musician John Mayer.

Both Robert and Kristen have remained single since their split.

Katy also discussed her close friendship with Rihanna in the magazine interview, describing her as a shining "light" in her life.

She said: "I love her (Rihanna) and every time I see her, I'm reminded of the light that she has. There's a lot of dark in this business. I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages - they are the root of their demise. It's really unfortunate but you can't save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over!"

Harry Styles
Gossip about the One Direction hunk's womanising ways features appears daily and the 19-year-old star admits the constant speculation affected his past relationships with the likes of Taylor Swift and British TV presenter Caroline Flack.

He told the new UK issue of GQ magazine: "Some of them are funny. Some of them are ridiculous. Some of them are annoying. I don't want to be one of those people that complains about the rumors.

"I never like it when a celebrity goes on Twitter and says, 'This isn't true!' It is what it is; I tend not to do that.
"The only time it gets really annoying is that if you get into a relationship and you get into a place where you really like someone and then things are being written in the papers that affect them and how they see you. Then it can get annoying."

Harry also laughed off rumours he may be bisexual.

When quizzed about his sexuality by the publication, he scoffed: "Bisexual? Me? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'm not."

Meanwhile, Harry's bandmates - Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - are adamant they aren't interested in groupies and don't have time to seduce their fans.

Irish singer Niall insisted: "We go back on the road straight after a show and we're gone. I wish we did have time for girls and parties but we don't."

Louis - who is dating long-term girlfriend Eleanor Caldwell - added: "The type of girls who would sleep with you in a heartbeat aren't the type of girls I'd want to take home."

However, Niall, 19, would make an exception for singer Ellie Goulding, who he has been shamelessly flirting with on Twitter for the past month.

He blushed: "I'll say one thing: Ellie Goulding - wow. She's absolutely amazing looking."

The 'Supermarket Superstar' host enjoyed a seven-year career as a professional wrestler before quitting in 2006 and her friend Mickie James - who is the current TNA Women's Champion - says the time is right for her to return to the ring now she's single again.

Mickie - who worked with Stacy in WWE - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm sure she could return to wrestling if she wanted to. I mean, maybe she does now that her and Clooney have called it quits. I don't know. Maybe she'll come back.  But she could absolutely come back if she wanted to."

Stacy was hugely popular with fans when she wrestled mainly due to her trademark ring entrance which saw her slowly entering the ring by placing her 42in legs through the ropes and wiggling her butt. She also competed in numerous novelty bouts such as bikini contests.

Mickie - who has just released her second country album 'Somebody's Gonna Pay' - is convinced Stacy's fabulous figure would make her a hit with grapple addicts again.

She added: "Stacy's strength was never that she was the best wrestler it was that she had super-long legs and she was absolutely stunning and she was a great character."

Stacy recently admitted she loved her time as a WWE Diva and has always been surprised by the amount of Hollywood executives who know about her grappling past.

She recently said: "I remember when I first moved to Los Angeles, a lot of the executives at the film studios were big wrestling fans. I'd be set up with a general meeting with someone, thinking they had no idea, and they'd say, 'What is it that you're doing right now?' And they knew everything!"

Mickie is heading to the UK next January for the 'TNA IMPACT Wrestling' tour. Tickets are on sale now from gigsandtours.com and ticketmaster.co.uk

Although the 'Gossip Girl' actress is known for her impeccable taste, she insists her husband has a better eye when they are shopping to decorate their home in Bedford, New York.

She told the September 2013 issue of Lucky magazine: "I'm very lucky to be with someone who has better taste than me. We influence each other in different ways.

"With film and TV, you don't see the results for months. Building a home, you get immediate gratification.
"Work is important, but my greatest passion is my personal life.”

Despite Ryan's good taste, Blake insists she makes her own fashion choices and being married has not changed her look.

She explained: "I was recently asked how my style has changed since I got married, as if I was living under some sort of dictatorship. I should hope I dress differently at 25 than I did when I graduated high school. I hope I never stop changing.

“I like to have a princess day every once in a while.

"That could call for wearing something totally inappropriate. Like a beaded purse and a gorgeous pair of crystal heels just to go to the grocery store."

Lindsay Lohan
The troubled actress – whose latest stint in rehab is due to end on Wednesday – is set to take over presenting duties from Chelsea Handler in the August 5 episode of the chat show.

Lindsay is also set to sit down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey and film an eight-part documentary for the media mogul's channel OWN.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed the 27-year-old actress has made two lists of all her acquaintances with the intention of culling all the 'bad' influences when she leaves rehab.

Out of her 100 pals and family members, 80 of her so-called friends are set to face the chop, TMZ is reporting. There is a possibility her father Michael Lohan - with whom she has a tumultuous relationship - could also be on the list.

The star is keen to stay on the straight and narrow when she leaves her Malibu-based treatment facility, where she is serving a 90-day stint as part of a plea deal for lying to police during a car crash last summer.

The 24-year-old actress is currently preparing for the release of her movie 'The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones', which has been tipped to become the next big teen franchise and she says she is looking to the 'Hunger Games' and 'Twilight' actresses for advice.

She told the September 2013 issue of Seventeen magazine: “I admire how they’ve both handled the fame that came with those roles and their ability to step outside those roles and do other projects. That’s what I want to do balance fun big movies with gritty passion projects I love.”

Lily also revealed fame has brought a new sense of style for her and she recently branched out and got some tattoos.

She said: “I’ve definitely edged-up my style a little but not for any reason other than I’m experimenting with myself. I always wanted tattoos, so this past November, I got two. I got my back done first its my handwriting and it says, Love always and forever.”

Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudeikis
The 'Rush' actress split from her husband of eight years, Tao Ruspoli, in February 2011 and while she is now happily engaged to Jason Sudeikis, she admitted she was worried about getting her heart broken again.

Olivia told the September 2013 issue of Fashion magazine: “It’s really hard to jump into a relationship after you feel you’ve been through a difficult time…I liken it to a burn victim jumping back into a Jacuzzi. It took a lot of coaxing.”

While Olivia, 29, is happier than ever with Jason, 37, she also credits him with helping to make her a better actress.

Speaking about the 'Saturday Night Live' star, she said: “His skill level is so high. I really have learned a lot from him, especially when it comes to being bold and taking risks as an actor within a role. Comedians are so great about trying things, like doing seven takes in seven different ways and really not being afraid to stumble.”

After their relationship got serious, Olivia put her Los Angeles home on the market so that she could move in with Jason in New York City.

A source previously said: "Olivia is so over commuting back and forth between LA and New York. At first she was worried that if she left the West Coast the acting offers would dry up. But these days she is more focused on her relationship than her career. She's all about what's best for them as a couple and that means living in NYC."

The 26-year-old actress was left devastated when her 31-year-old boyfriend and 'Glee' co-star Cory died from a heroin and alcohol overdose earlier this month and has broken her silence to thank her fans and proclaim her love for the tragic star.

Posting a picture of them on Instagram, Lea wrote: “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart (sic).”

Fans rushed to reply to Lea's message, leaving her words of support.

One wrote: “I'm deeply sorry for your lost Lea. Hope you find all the strength you need to overcome this difficult time, stay positive and with the help of God and time you will have peace (sic).”

Another Instagram user added: “You will get through this hard time!”

Lea opened up about their relationship before Cory's death, revealing he made her feel “unstoppable”.

She said: "It's more interesting having a relationship with someone you work with because we get more attention because we play boyfriend and girlfriend on the show and we are also in real life. But he is the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a co-worker.

“It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him."

After the 'Sherlock' actor revealed he has a “man-crush” on the 'Behind the Candleabra' actor, a flattered Matt suggested the pair get a drink together at the Primetime Emmy Awards in September.

The pair will actually be competing against each other at the awards for the Best Actor in a Miniseries or Movie award, with Matt up for his role in  'Behind the Candelabra' and Benedict nominated for 'Parade's End'.

Benedict's man-crush was revealed in a recent interview when he couldn't help gushing about his admiration for Matt.

He said: "He's just so grounded. He's so intelligent. He makes these smart choices, as an actor, as a producer, as a writer. He's so composed. You never hear a bad word said about him. Everybody loves him.

Hamptoms sports event (Photo: NY Daily News)

Usually a slave to the absolutely bizarre Lady Gaga shocked the crowds at the The 20th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit, in the South Hamptons, this weekend with her fresh faced, brunette look.

But, of course, she couldn’t quite leave it alone. Mother Monster dyed her eyebrows blond and was wearing a rather dominatrix style outfit. Although at least the dress was black right?!...That’s subdued and docile.

Wearing a black cut-out dress and sporting dark long locks, the 27-year-old "Born This Way" singer continued promoting her new “ARTPOP” inspired image, joined by celebrated performance artist Marina Abramovic, reports New York Daily News.

Her new toned down look is said to be drawing inspiration from her former self, Stefani Germanotta, the Italian American who grew up on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The pop sensation has been steadily unveiling artwork for her new single and album. The single “Applause” will be released on August 19, ahead of her MTV VMA performance on August 25.

Who knows what’s next? A twinset and pearls with a sensible heel?!!

Jaws will drop to the floor.

Conrad Murray is threatening to reveal Michael Jackson's 'explosive' secrets on TV

The disgraced former doctor - who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter after delivering a fatal dose of Propofol to the King of Pop in June 2009 - has reportedly been fielding multi-million dollar deals to-tell all about the late singer and his family when he is granted an early release from prison in October.

Murray has warned the 'Thriller' star's family that if they continue to push him "to the limit" by slating him in the press and in their wrongful death lawsuit against concert promoters AEG Live, he will not hesitate to dish the dirt on Michael's relatives - which he claims could "tarnish" their reputations.

In a statement obtained by the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "Though I have encountered so much sorrow and I have a great deal of explosive information that is fodder for tarnishing images, I've remained loyal to Michael and to foes over the past four years.

"I will continue to be faithful and endure unless and until I'm pushed to the limit and endurance is no more."

The jailed physician has angered Michael's family by refusing to aid his mother Katherine Jackson's $100 million lawsuit against AEG - who she claims is responsible for the star's death by negligently hiring Murray - and has insisted he won't give evidence in the trial.

Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that Murray will receive early release from prison in October for good behaviour.

Murray - who lost his medical license when he was found guilty - was jailed in November 2011 and will leave prison having served just under half of his four-year sentence.

The One Direction singer loves being in a band with Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan because he thinks life as a solo artist wouldn't be as much fun.

He told the September 2013 issue of Teen Vogue: “It could definitely be a lonely job. I wouldn’t be able to do this if I were on my own.”

While the group are greeted with chaos wherever they go, they are grateful to their fans for all of their support, even if it can get overwhelming.

Zayn explained: “We’re humbled that so many fans have bothered. It was a bit too busy for me [today.] I like to chill somewhere quiet. I get pleasure from the little things in life.”

Niall added: “I’m not going to be a prisoner in my room - and the fans weren’t intrusive. I don’t see how you could get used to people screaming in your face, and anyone who says different is lying.”

Meanwhile, Liam insists the group are down to earth and don't have a rider in their contract.

He said: “We never actually sat there and made one. They bring us the stuff they think we like. We’re not really that diva.”

Taylor Swift won't appear in the One Direction movie

One Direction

The 23-year-old singer briefly dated the band's singer Harry Styles last year but won't be in the documentary 'This Is Us' because they split up before filming began.

'This Is Us' director Morgan Spurlock told Teen Vogue: "It gets frustrating for them at times, because suddenly stuff gets printed that isn't even true, I saw an article that said, 'Harry Styles demands Taylor Swift be taken out of the movie.' But by the time we started filming in January, they had already split up.”

While Harry's romantic drama won't feature in the movie, producer Ben Winston, says their real lives are more exciting than fiction.

He said: "The doc of what's happened to them over the last few years is more exciting than any script writer could ever write or come up with. So, therefore, you've already got a wonderful story that you're able to tell.
And Morgan and myself and all of the team have done a job of portraying that really and showing who the boys are, what they've gone through, both the ups and the downs, within that.”

The charity, which gives terminally ill children the chance to have a once in a lifetime experience, will be celebrating their second birthday on the day the auction closes.

Her post continued: "The charity is officially two years old on 1st August 2013 when the auction is scheduled to finish."

The item which is framed alongside two photographs, one of the band - that includes Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - and the other a close up of Harry, also has a signed thank you note written by the teen idol.

The 44-year-old actor, who was born in Sydney, thinks the charming Australian accent is much sought after in the filmmaking capital because movie makers love Aussie stars.

When quizzed about being an Australian working in Hollywood, he said: "We dominate! We're the majority now! It's always good to be an Aussie wherever you are ... it's because Hollywood accepts us. Aussies over there they just love them, they love the accent, they want to know everything about you, they really dig the Aussies."

The troubled actress' parents Rick and Lynn have managed to convince a judge that it is in her best interests to remain in hospital for another two weeks, while they try and secure a conservatorship placing them in charge of Amanda's legal and personal affairs.

TMZ is reporting a judge presided over the hearing at the California-based hospital, where doctors argued they needed more time to properly diagnose Amanda, who is thought to be suffering from schizophrenia.

The 27-year-old star was originally supposed to be released after being placed under a 72-hour hold on Monday following her arrest for lighting a small fire on an elderly stranger's driveway near her parents house in Thousand Oaks, California.

Witnesses say the star was carrying a gas canister and accidentally doused her Pomeranian puppy with gasoline during the incident, as well as setting fire to her own trouser leg.

Rick and Lynn are heading to the Ventura County Superior Courthouse in Oxnard for a private hearing, during which they need to prove Amanda is a danger to herself and to others in order to become her  temporary conservators.

A source recently said: "Amanda's parents are truly afraid their daughter will die if the conservatorship isn't granted."

The Beady Eye frontman hasn't seen his wife of five years since it was claimed he had fathered a child with US journalist Liza Ghorbani, but he told his mother-in-law Mary Appleton he felt the All Saints star would be better off without him during a chance encounter at his London home.

Mary, 72, said: "He walked up to me and said, 'Nic deserves better than me'.

"It was a vile thing to say - such a horrible cliché. I thought that's him trying to let her down gently. I knew I would cry.

"I thought he was still in Spain, so I went round to pick up post for Nic. And I wanted to check on their cat.
"When I opened the door, I heard Liam say, 'Who is it?' and I thought, 'Oh my god. What am I going to say to him?'

"Then he said that about Nic being better off without him. I didn't want him to see me cry so I took the cat and got into the car where my husband was waiting.

"I turned to him in tears and said, 'Their marriage is over'. Up to that point, we just hadn't known what to think."

Liam broke the news of the allegations to Nicole when she was holidaying in Disney World Florida with their son Gene, 12, Lennon - the rocker's 13-year-old son with first wife Patsy Kensit - her sisters and their children, and the 'Never Ever' hitmaker "fell to the floor" after the call.

Her sister Lori told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "I was there when Nic got that call. We'd had just one ride. She went 'bam'. She fell to the floor and we had to put a rug underneath her. She is absolutely devastated.

"I've been with Nic all these days and he hasn't been in touch, other than the first day in Disney when he called and just told her straight up."

The 'Sex and the City' actress marked mum Barbara's milestone birthday by gathering more than 30 family members - including her actor husband Matthew Broderick, son James, 10, and four-year-old twin daughters Marion and Tabitha - for a fun family evening at trendy French eatery, Le Charlot, in New York City's Upper East Side.

The 48-year-old star hired a private space at the restaurant and treated the birthday girl and family members to a lavish dinner, which consisted of several courses.

A source told the New York Post newspaper the generational gathering - which saw Barbara's 11 grandchildren, who are aged between 12 and just two weeks old - was "full of joy".

As well as her famous daughter, Barbara - a teacher and former actress herself - has seven other children from two marriages.

The matriarch split from Sarah's father, journalist Stephen Parker, while she was a child and later married truck driver Paul Forste.

The birthday dinner is just the latest display of affection from family-focused Sarah.

Although she could stop acting and live off the lucrative royalties she receives from syndication of her hit show - which ran between 1998 and 2004 - the actress is insistent on continuing to work in order to provide for her family.

She said: "I've been financially responsible for so many people for such a long time - my family - that it's not enough to have money for myself. And it's not about luxury. It's about my mum's house payments."

The heartbroken actress, 26, whose boyfriend of 14 months was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, on July 13, after he overdosed on heroin and alcohol, joined her 'Glee' co-stars and the show's creator Ryan Murphy at a private service to remember Cory, 31, who battled addiction since he was a teenager.

A statement from 20th Century Fox Television said that Lea attended the memorial "along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. He said: "The more money you have, the faster you go.

"[Racing] is a different type of passion. I'm an actor, so that's my job. That's my trade. Racing is always a discovery...finding different ways to be turned on. Race is always changing, and that to me is very exciting. And that keeps me alive."

The 47-year-old actor, who stars in a new documentary series 'Racing LeMans', which chronicles his journey to compete in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France, also admitted that he only looks at the show as his day job but denied being tired of playing Dr Derek Shepard, according to EOnline.com.

He said: "I'm not necessarily bored with the show. I'm incredibly grateful to have a show that's been on for ten years. But I'm not the creator. I'm not the writer. It's a trade, quite honestly. And that's fine. And when you're on the show, coming up on 200 episodes, it's about surviving. There's not a lot of homework. You learn your lines and try to stay present and try not to get caught acting. I'm glad I have the gig, but it's not the same as being in a race car."

Ashton Kutcher regrets turning down a chance to meet Steve Jobs

Ashton Kutcher regrets turning down a chance to meet Steve Jobs
Ashton Kutcher
The 35-year-old actor plays the Apple tycoon in the upcoming biopic 'Jobs' and has revealed he was given
the chance to meet the American businessman just months before his death in 2011, but had to refuse the offer due to work commitments.

He told 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno': "In hindsight I look back and I think, yeah, I had the opportunity to meet the Leonardo de Vinci of our generation - and I missed it".

The 'Two And A Half Men' star admits he was devastated when he heard of Jobs' passing and claims he took up the role because he wanted to do him justice and prove to people what he has given society.

He explained: "For me I'll never forget the moment I heard that he died. I pulled my car up to the side of the road and kind of took a moment.

"When I got home, I sat down on my computer and I realised that all the relationships I have in my life are held together by glue that he laid down.

"I realised that I'd taken him for granted and taken for granted the contribution that he actually gave to society. I actually had a real emotional moment that day.

"I wanted to ensure that his legacy was told from someone who admired him."

Lea Michele & the late Cory Monteith
The 'Glee' actor was hoping to surprise his co-star beau for her 27th birthday, which is on August 29 , and had been making arrangements before he was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, on July 13.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She [Lea] didn't know what [he was planning] but she thought it could be a party and possibly a trip somewhere."

The pair had been dating since early 2012 and were hoping to move in together before Cory died from an accidental alcohol and heroin overdose.

The source added: "Lea and Cory were planning on moving in together after he got back from Vancouver. [They] weren't talking engagement or marriage yet, but it was heading that way.

"The first step was that Cory was going to move in [to Lea's Los Angeles home] completely. He was already there all the time."

The 26-year-old actress, who was in Mexico when she heard the tragic news, supported Cory, 31, when he entered rehab earlier this year to seek treatment for his addiction to drugs for the second time and believed he was strong enough to fully recover.

Despite all they had been through together they were very happy and in love before he passed away.
The source added: "They were 100 per cent happy and together and in love at the time of his death."

Hugh Jackman's daughter used to cry when he got hurt in movies

Hugh Jackman
The 44-year-old actor has revealed his eight-year-old daughter Ava would get frightened when her father, who plays superhero Wolverine in the 'X-Men' franchise and spin-off films, got hurt in fight scenes.

Jackman said: "My daughter has seen them [the 'X-Men films] now on TV. When the last one came out she was five or six and she used to get really upset when I was on screen and in danger ... because Wolverine can heal I'm constantly getting shot or stabbed.

"She would get really upset when she saw it in the trailer, and I shielded her from that and now she loves it."
The Hollywood hunk also has a teenage son Oscar with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

Jackman - who plays the character for a sixth time in 'The Wolverine' - says his son tells his friends his father isn't cool, but boasts about his action man status on the big screen to impress girls.

During appearance on UK TV show 'Lorraine', he said: "My son is 13, who actually most the time, doesn't want to know. I think, he does [think it's cool] but he doesn't want me to think it's cool. I did overhear him talking to somebody who was a bit impressed that I was Wolverine. He said 'My dad is nothing like Wolverine, he's not cool, he's not tough, he's completely different.'

"On the other hand, I also hear him talking to girls and he says, 'My dad's Wolverine.' So he's figured that out!"

Ryan Reynolds is selling the Los Angeles home he once shared with ex-wife Scarlett Johansson for $1.59 million

The 'R.I.P.D.' actor bought the two-bedroom pad in the Hollywood Hills in 2007 - a year before marrying the 'Avengers Assemble' beauty - and is set to unload the property at a loss, asking for $116,000 less than he paid for it.

The 1,789-square-foot home boasts two-and-a-half bathrooms, a private entrance through a gated courtyard, hardwood floors, solar heating, a patio for entertaining guests and private walkways.

The prime location also comes with many famous neighbours including Salma Hayek, Charlize Theron and Jason Statham.

Ryan - who married 'Gossip Girl' actress Blake Lively last year following his divorce from Scarlett in 2011 - has seemingly had trouble selling the cosy home the couple once shared, as this marks his third attempt at putting it on the market.

The 36-year-old hunk initially listed the pad for $1.9 million in 2009, and again re-listed it in 2011 for $1.69 million.

The 'Green Lantern' star and Scarlett, 28, sold their primary marital home in Los Feliz, California, for $3.5 million in February 2012 - several months after finalising their divorce.

Ryan and second wife Blake, 25, have since abandoned the sunny West Coast for a $2 million mansion in Bedford, New York.

The sexy supermodel says the 36-year-old actor - who she has been married to since July 2010 - gets an erotic kick from her feet so she makes sure her toes and soles are always in pristine condition.

Speaking to website Into The Gloss, Miranda said: "I'm really a freak about my nails. Orlando and I share a nail thing - he has a bit of a foot fetish. I like OPI's Koala Bear-y on my nails. It's not organic, but sometimes I just do it."

Miranda - who used to be a Victoria's Secret Angel - always works hard to maintain her stunning looks and figure.

The 30-year-old catwalk beauty - who has a son Flynn with Orlando - has a number of beauty essentials that she carries with her everywhere she goes, including an eye protecting lubricant to stop her pupils from being burnt on photo shoots.

She said: "I always keep my handbag packed with a few essentials. Like, I believe in dental hygiene, even on the go, so GUM toothpicks are a must. And I always keep Similasan Dry Eye Relief on me. My eyes have been burned by flash bulbs twice at photo shoots - like blisters on my eyes - so I try to keep them lubricated now. I've also got tweezers and scissors for my nails in my bag."

Bono thinks Sir Mick Jagger's wrinkles are ‘beautiful’

Bono thinks Sir Mick Jagger's wrinkles are ‘beautiful’
Mick Jagger & Bono
The U2 frontman admits he is slightly envious of the Rolling Stones rocker's deep facial lines and thinks they make the 69-year-old star more refined in his old age - like a graceful ballet dancer.

He said: "Mick looks a bit like [Russian dancer Mikhail] Baryshnikov, like a ballet dancer from a different age. At the same time he still has a very beautiful face.

"The wrinkles that run through it now have made it even more beautiful. Why? Because he wears those wrinkles well. I love his wrinkles."

Bono, 53, also tipped his hat to the 'Brown Sugar' hitmaker's fierce business acumen, crediting Mick for his band's incredible success over the last 50 years because he always has on eye on the group's finances.

He added to Germany's Die Welt newspaper: "People despise Mick because they think he only thinks about money, but he is a businessman above all else. The fact is, he understands the business. Why? Because the Stones lost a lot of money in the beginning. I have to kneel in reverence to what he has achieved.

"What I like about him as a person is that he always speaks his mind openly and he never talks much about himself. He is not a narcissistic person."

‘The Wolverine’ star Hugh Jackman is taking a break from acting

‘The Wolverine’ star Hugh Jackman is taking a break from acting
Hugh Jackman
'The Wolverine' star - who has adopted children, Oscar, 13 and eight-year-old Ava, with wife Deborra-Lee Furness - has revealed he's taking some time away from the movie industry as he feels "greedy" after starring in four consecutive films.

Speaking on 'The Kyle and Jackie O Show' on Australian radio station 2Day FM, he said: "I'm taking a little while off, I don't know if I'm taking a year, this movie now is my fourth movie a row. I'm being very greedy. There's a thing called being in the dog box, that's me."

The 44-year-old actor has to bare the flesh in his new movie 'The Wolverine' - which is part of the 'X-Men' film universe - but he admits he has no qualms about stripping down as it's his job as an actor to flaunt his hunky body, and he feels at ease wandering around back stage without any clothes on as it's deemed "normal".

Hugh - who has portrayed the claw-wielding mutant on six occasions - explained: "You know the guys that really like being naked, I'm not one of those, but I have no issues, actors you've kind of got to, that's part of the territory. If you've ever been to theatre backstage nudity is pretty much as normal as wearing clothes."

The 44-year-old actor may play the "cool" claw-wielding superhero in the 2013 blockbuster but he admits his 13-year-old son Oscar rarely speaks about his role and usually dismisses the idea that the hunky
star is anything like Marvel character.

Speaking on 'The Late Show with David Letterman', Hugh said: "He never talks to me about 'Wolverine'. He never admits it's cool, he never admits, 'This is great,' nothing like that.

"In fact a friend of his was saying how cool and he goes, 'Trust me, my dad is nothing like Wolverine, he's not tough, he's not cool in any way.' "

However, despite Oscar's apparent unwillingness to talk about 'Wolverine', the star admitted his son - who he adopted with his wife

Deborra-Lee Furness - jumped at the idea of joining him to watch the movie at 7am.

He explained: "I had to see the movie at 7am and I said, 'Oscar, I'm gonna see 'The Wolverine', I have to watch it in the morning.' Now this is summer vacation, there is no 7am for a 13 year old. Six o'clock in the morning, he was up, waking me up like 'Dad, is it time?

Is it time?'."

Amanda Bynes' parents to ask a court to grant them conservatorship of their daughter

Amanda Bynes
The troubled star's estranged parents Rick and Lynn are increasingly worried about Amanda's erratic behaviour and have arranged a hearing at Ventura County Courthouse in Oxnard, California, in order to secure legal control of her personal and financial affairs until she gets her life back on track.

Amanda, 27, is currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation after being admitted to hospital on Monday following her arrest for lighting a small fire outside an elderly woman's home.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Rick and Lynn will appear before the judge on Friday to ask for a temporary conservatorship of their daughter, Amanda. Her parents will both be petitioning to be the
temporary proposed conservators, and want control of her personal and financial affairs."

Amanda's parents are hoping to prove their daughter is a danger to herself and will have to provide evidence of her increasingly bizarre behavior in recent months, which they believe shows signs of
Schizophrenia.

The legal insider added: "The proposed conservator must show that the conservatee is unable to care for themselves, and is a danger to others.

"When Britney's father got conservatorship of her, she was viewed as a danger to herself and this made it much easier for the judge to sign off on it."

The 'Hairspray' actress will not be charged for the fire in Thousand Oaks, California - during which she accidentally soaked her Pomeranian puppy in gasoline - as officers realized she needed professional help
rather than a legal punishment and secured a 5150 hold.

Rick and Lynn are said to be "sick with worry" and have been told to act quickly while Amanda is being held in hospital for up to 72 hours.

Demi Lovato
The Jonas Brothers star, 23, who dated the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker in 2010, admits he is closer to her than his brother Nick's ex-girlfriends despite their messy split.

Asked to choose between the girls and pick his favourite former Disney star, he told 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen' on Tuesday: "Oh man ... me and her are very cool now, so favourite [is] Demi. Wow. I want to say ... I can't say 'plead the fifth' yet, this is bad. ... I'll go Miley and [then] Selena, because Selena I haven't seen in a while. So, I saw Miley; she was very nice to me recently."

Nick, 20, dated Miley, 20, on and off for a few years when they were younger and also dated Selena, 21, for a year in 2008.

Demi, who recently admitted she is "competitive" with Miley and Selena but insisted she isn't consumed by the rivalry, previously said that she and Joe have repaired their friendship following their bitter split three years ago.

She said: "We were in a relationship and we broke up, and at one point, I was really mad at him.

"Now, I can, fortunately, say, that him and his brother Nick, have always been there for me, and are literally family, and like brothers. We have a great friendship. And we may not be as close as we used to be, but that's OK."

The 27-year-old actress - who is currently undergoing a mental evaluation after being involuntarily admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Los Angeles on Monday, shortly after she was arrested for lighting a fire in the stranger's driveway - will not be prosecuted for trespassing, arson or any other criminal offense.
Law enforcement sources told gossip website TMZ.com that they believe the actress's actions were rooted in mental illness and prosecutors view her conduct as non-criminal.

The police officers who arrested the 'Easy A' star on Monday immediately decided that she need professional help instead of a punishment and secured a 5150 hold.

It was previously reported that Amanda's medical team are planning to ask for the order to be extended for two weeks so that they can properly diagnose her, amid speculation she is displaying signs of schizophrenia.

The 'Hairspray' star was charged with attempted evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession after being arrested at her apartment in New York City on May 23, is due to appear in court again on September 26 in connection with the incident.

'Glee' star Lea Michele wants to find out what triggered Cory Monteith's relapse

'Glee' star Lea Michele
The 'Glee' star, whose boyfriend and co-star was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, on July 13, after accidentally overdosing on alcohol and heroin, is reaching out to his friends in the city in a bid to piece together the last few days of his life.

A source told UsMagazine.com: "Lea is trying to talk to the people who last saw him. She wants to know what happened, she wants to understand."

The 26-year-old actress, who was in Mexico when she heard the tragic news, supported Cory, 31, when he entered rehab earlier this year to seek treatment for his addiction to drugs for the second time and believed he was strong enough to fully recover.

The insider added: "Lea long knew about Cory's drug problems and was always pushing him to get help, [as] she believed he'd be unstoppable if he could beat his demons."

The brunette beauty's other co-stars are giving her space to grieve and she "hasn't been in communication with a lot of people" since Cory's death.

The source said she is "only talking to a few confidents", adding she "is in no state to be seen in public."

The couple, who dated for 14 months, were previously said to be planning to move in together after Cory got back from his trip to Vancouver.

Dr. Conrad Murray may expose an explosive secret about Michael Jackson

The physician is serving four years for the involuntary manslaughter of the King of Pop - who died of acute Propofol intoxication in 2009 - and has issued a warning that he will drop a "nuclear" bombshell about the singer and his family if he is forced to testify in the Jackson family's wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Dr. Murray made the threat in a recent voicemail message to a friend, begging AEG and the Jacksons not to make him testify.

In the recording he said: "Please stop. If you don't, let this serve as my final warning to both sides. Don't incite me to testify. Consider this as an imminent nuclear warning. Enough is enough."

The disgraced medical practitioner reportedly wants nothing to do with the lawsuit because he is afraid he could possibly incriminate himself further and has appealed to overturn his manslaughter conviction.

Katherine Jackson, 83, who is suing concert promoters because they allegedly did not properly investigate Dr. Murray, recently said that hearing lies about her late son is the most difficult thing she's ever had to deal with.

She said: "The most difficult thing is to sit here in this court and listen to all the bad things they've said about my son. None of the things are the truth.

"[It's difficult because Michael] is not here to speak for himself. I want to know what really happened to my son."

The trial started in April and is expected to continue until September.

'Glee' star Cory Monteith made Lea Michele feel ‘unstoppable’ before his death

'Glee' star Cory Monteith made Lea Michele feel ‘unstoppable’ before his death
Cory Monteith
The 'Glee' star had been dating her co-star for more than one year before he was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada on July 13, and she opened up about their special bond after he surprised her in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, during one of the last interviews she gave before he overdosed from heroin and alcohol.

She told Marie Claire Mexico magazine: "It's more interesting having a relationship with someone you work with because we get more attention because we play boyfriend and girlfriend on the show and we are also in real life. But he is the best person I know, he has made my life so incredible and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a co-worker."

She added: "It is important to have someone that supports you and encourage you, someone that makes you feel that you are unstoppable, that you can do anything in the world because you have him."

The 26-year-old actress appears on the cover of the magazine's August issue and Cory surprised her by showing up to support her at the photo-shoot.

Lea was enjoying a "girls' night" when she learned of Cory's death and reportedly "started screaming" after receiving the heart-breaking news.

The actress joined Cory's family at a private cremation last week to say goodbye to her boyfriend, who had been battling substance addiction on and off since he was a teenager.

The blonde beauty wishes she had a juicier story to tell about the end of her two-year romance with the A-list actor earlier this month, insisting there's "no real story" behind the couple's amicable split.

She said: "For me, it's just what it is. There's no real story. I almost wish I had a story because it would make it so much easier, because everyone's so interested. To me, it's not really that big of a deal. It's just life and now, you know, new beginnings."

The former WWE wrestler dined with a host of George's Hollywood pals during their time together, but she reveals that one particular dinner guest - US President Barack Obama - rendered her "speechless".

In an interview on 'The Sam Roberts Show' on American radio, she said: "I'm never really star-struck by people, but meeting him for the first time - no matter which party you're on - he's got such an energy about him, he's very charming, so I was a little speechless when I first met him."

Stacy, 33, found fame as a feisty WWE Diva between 2001 and 2006, and while wrestling has a niche following, she was surprised to learn that many Hollywood executives knew about her grappling past when she transitioned into acting and presenting.

She explained: "I remember when I first moved to Los Angeles, a lot of the executives at the film studios were big wrestling fans. I'd be set up with a general meeting with someone, thinking they had no idea, and they'd say, 'What is it that you're doing right now?' And they knew everything!"

The 59-year-old actor worked with the brunette beauty in the 1989 comedy film 'Look Who's Talking' and two sequels, in which they played Mollie and James Ubriacco, and he is "excited" to be working with Kirstie again 24 years later.

John said: "I'm excited about working with Kirstie again, in addition to such terrific talent on the show. It's always a treat to be surrounded by people you respect so much both personally and professionally."

Kirstie, who plays lead character Madison Banks in the series tentatively titled 'Kirstie's New Show', is also an executive producer for the new comedy series and also cannot wait to work with John again.

The 62-year-old actress wrote on Twitter: "John Travolta is gonna be on our new show KIRSTIE!!!!!! SOOO excited to work together again!!! We are gonna have a BALL!! (sic)"
