Kim Cattrall paid a masseuse $250 a week - to speak to her

The British-born actress was struggling to adapt the right dialect for her role as an aging former porn star-turned-stripper in 'Meet Monica Velour' and was happy to pay a huge sum when she found someone who had the accent she was trying to mimic.

She said: "The most difficult thing was to find Monica's dignity.

"She smokes, she drinks. She's from the South, so the voice had to be huskier than mine.

"I eventually found a masseuse who had just the right voice. I was paying her $250 a week just to listen to her speak."

While she enjoyed making the movie, Kim admits she found her first strip scene, in which her character is mocked, particularly difficult and ended up crying in her dressing room.

She admitted in an interview with the Daily Mail newspaper: "When I was filming the first strip scene, I was surrounded by proper dancers as extras. They'd all looked after their bodies, they knew how to move and it made the contrast with me more obvious.

"Part of the scene was all the jeering Monica had to put up with. By the end, I fled to my dressing room and cried my eyes out. I'm not made of stone."

Ryan Reynolds needs more time to get over his divorce from Scarlett Johansson

'Green Lantern' star Ryan Reynolds split from actress Scarlet Johansson in December, and their divorce was finalized earlier this month. But even though they been apart for several months, the actor admits he still is upset by how their relationship ended.

He said: "At the moment I'm just giving myself time to put everything that has happened behind me and I'm taking things as they come .  But I'm going to be ready for a relationship again soon."

In recent months, Ryan has been romantically linked to Oscar winner Charlize Theron and has been reported to have been flirting with numerous beauties on the party scene, but he insists he isn't "potent enough" to handle so many ladies.

In an interview with German magazine 'in', Ryan added: "Right now I seem to be on a speed-dating mission - at least according to those rumours that are going around at the moment. Even my mom is confused. No man is potent enough to be able to go through as many women as that in such a short amount of time like I allegedly have!"

Gwyneth Paltrow is willing to "bang" someone for a copy of the new Coldplay album

Gwyneth Paltrow is willing to "bang" someone for a copy of the new Coldplay album.

The 'Country Strong' actress - who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she has two children, Apple (7) and Moses (5) - is, for some reason, having trouble getting hold of the new LP, which is due to be released in the autumn, despite her close relationship with the band.

She wrote on Twitter: "Who do I have to bang to get an advance copy of the new coldplay album? I mean, really.(sic)"

Despite her music-based issues, Gwyneth - who lives in London with Chris, who she married after knowing him for a year in 2003 - has previously admitted she loves her family life and likes to take her children to school regularly even though she is an Oscar-winning star.

She said: "I enjoy being a mother and staying at home and looking after my kids.

"I like being able to take the children to school and to make their food and spend a lot of time with them. It's a much more fulfilling kind of life for me. It's a lot easier now.

"I'm happiest when I'm sitting down for dinner with my family."

‘Cowboys and Aliens’ Olivia Wilde says she is perplexed by modern dating- VIDEO

After being married since she was 18-years-old, the newly divorced Olivia Wilde she is having difficulties adjusting to the new ways of romance.

The now 27-year-old “Cowboys and Aliens” actress opened up about her perils of modern dating in an interview with Nylon magazine which features her on the cover.

The actress who has been linked to some of Hollywood’s sexiest stars in the likes of Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake, says that her surprise about dating in 2011 is that so much of it relies on technology like e-mail and text messaging.

'I see the whole thing like someone who's been in a coma and I've come out like, 'Wait, people text message? They text love? How do you text about love??' she said.

It is always a challenge to jump back into the swings of things after a long-term relationship and the actress has even compared it to entering a shark pool. She said she has even insisted that she has gained a bit of weight since the seven years marriage to her ex-husband who is eight years her senior, ended.

'I got a divorce and self medicated with food,' she said. 'But I figure that's better than self-medicating with crack cocaine.'

There is no doubt that the actress who has a career in full gear and unmatchable beauty, will recover from her dating sea legs in no time.

Lady Gaga broke down in tears watching contestants on 'So You Think You Can Dance'

The 'Edge of Glory' singer was guest judge on the hit US TV talent show and was overcome with emotion when hopefuls Marko and Allison showed off their routine to Jeff Buckley's 'I Know It's Over,' because it reminded her of her youth.

An emotional Gaga, 25, told the contestants: "I'm just so proud of you. You really love to dance. There were so many things I did wrong when I was younger and so many things I wish I could take back. I felt every moment of that in your dance tonight. You are absolutely incredible. Whether you are number one, three or ten, you have it."

Before the show the 'Born This Way' hitmaker – who joined regular judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as well as fellow guest judge Rob Marshall on the panel – spoke of her excitement about taking part.

'Twilight Saga's' Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene are moving in together

The ‘Twilight Saga’ co-stars – who play adopted brother and sister Emmett and Alice Cullen in the vampire movie franchise – are close friends off set and are thinking of sharing an apartment in New York – though they don’t know how much time they would get to spend together.

Kellan said:  "I was talking to Ashley about maybe sharing a place out here in New York.

"We're never here at the same time but we both love New York. So we'd be rooommates without being roommates...more like housemates.”

While work on the final part of the ‘Twilight’ series, ‘Breaking Dawn’ is complete, Kellan insists he isn’t sad because shooting is “tough” and he much prefers promoting the films.

He told E! Online: "I really look forward to the tours, I love the premieres, I love the fan conventions, but shooting the movie is kind of the tough part. It's so long being away and it's gloomy where we shoot. I'm not sad that we're actually done with the movie because we have all these other amazing things coming up."

Charlie Sheen's ex, Brooke Mueller is terrified of dying 'like Amy Winehouse'

The reality TV star – who has two-year-old twin sons Bob and Max with ex-husband Charlie Sheen – is currently receiving in-patient treatment at an undisclosed rehabilitation clinic and friends say she is determined to beat her substance abuse habit as she doesn’t want to end up like the troubled British singer, who had a history of drug addiction and was found dead at home in London last Saturday.

A source said: “Amy’s death rocked Brooke to her core. Brooke didn't know Amy, but she relates to her addiction with drugs.

The insider added to RadarOnline.com: “She doesn't want them to be raised without a mother. Brooke is wracked with guilt that her addiction is ruling her life and taking away from the boys.”

Brooke has been advised to stay in rehab for three months but is hopeful she can leave before then.

Noel Gallagher - starting his solo career is like 'giving up drugs and moving on to a new circle of friends'

The guitarist is fronting his new project Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and admits he's still got to get used to his new "collective" of musicians after quitting Oasis and seeing the other members – his brother Liam, Gem Archer, Chris Sharrock and Andy Bell - form Beady Eye.

Speaking about his new group, he said: "They're a collective more than a band. Anyone can join and anyone can leave. I once sat in bed one night before I got my band together. I said to my wife, 'It's just dawned on me, I've got to find five other people. I won't know their wives or girlfriends, or mates, and I've got to share a tour bus with them.'

"It's like giving up drugs and moving on to a new circle of friends."

Noel, 44, also claims there is no animosity between him and most of Beady Eye, and he even likes some of their songs.

He added to Q magazine: "I don't want to get into one with them. They're cool guys and I wish them all the luck in the world. I've always loved 'The Roller', I've got a demo of it with me playing the drums, Gem, Liam singing."

'Hangover's' Bradley Cooper was once dumped while breathing through an oxygen tank

The 'Hangover' star – who used to be married to the actress Jennifer Esposito – was told by a former lover that their relationship was over while he was in Peru and battling altitude sickness.

He told UK station Radio 1: "The worst time I was dumped was overseas on a bad line of a telephone. I was in Peru with an oxygen tank because I hadn't acclimatised properly. It was the worst time. She's a sweetheart though."

The 36-year-old actor was previously in a relationship with 'Bridget Jones' Diary' star Renee Zellweger and has in the past been romantically linked to former 'Friends' actress Jennifer Aniston.

Bradley recently starred alongside Academy Award-winner Robert De Niro, who he has described as "the greatest".

Lindsay Lohan is being sued over an unpaid bill

The troubled actress is the subject of a small claims court lawsuit from Stephen Clark, who claims he sold and installed audio and video equipment, including remote programming, in her Californian home last month but alleges the ‘Machete’ star failed to pay her bill.

Stephen – who is also suing for missed work – is seeking $1,180 from the actress, reports gossip website TMZ.

The case is the latest in a string of problems for Lindsay, who had the equipment installed while she was under house arrest.

The 'Mean Girls' actress was freed on 29th June after serving 35 days of house arrest for the theft of a necklace from an upmarket boutique and for violating the terms of probation set for her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence (DUI).

Last week, Lindsay – who has also started 480 hours of community service at the Los Angeles Downtown Women's centre as part of her sentence – appeared in court for a progress hearing, where she was ordered to find an individual therapist.

However, during the hearing, the 25-year-old actress’ lawyer insisted she hadn’t been able to have the mandatory psychological treatment due to “financial issues.”

Playboy bunny Crystal Harris “will always care” for Hugh Hefner

Crystal Harris “will always care” for Hugh Hefner, she expressed.

The aspiring singer was due to wed the Playboy mogul last month; though she called off the ceremony just days before she had been due to walk down the aisle, the blonde beauty insists there are no hard feelings between herself and her 85-year-old former lover.

She said: “I love Hef. I care about Hef and always will. We had good times together. I’ve been over there about three or four times since the breakup and we want to just stay friends.”

Crystal, 25, also revealed both she and Hugh had mutually agreed to call off the wedding when it became apparent she was unhappy.

She told ‘Access Hollywood’: “I got cold feet. Over time I just realised it wasn’t for me, it was all happening so fast."

“I actually spoke to Hef about it before I left and we both came to the decision that getting married wasn’t the best for either of us.”

Asked if the relationship was physical, she added: “In the beginning, but after a while it just wasn’t the most important thing to him.”

Speaking about their relationship, Crystal admitted they didn’t have sex very often. She said: “There was couch cuddling, movie nights. Hef’s like a big kid.”

Crystal also laughed off reports she is now dating Jordan McGraw – but didn’t dismiss the idea of embarking on a relationship with him one day. She insisted: “Jordan is one of my best friends, we’ve known each other for a year and he will continue to be one of my really good friends.

“Will we ever get together? We’ll see.”

Demi Lovato admits she was a poor role model

The 'Skyscraper' singer – who entered rehab last November for three months to receive treatment for her eating disorders and self-harming – shot to fame playing the lead role in Disney show 'Sonny with a Chance' and used to get upset when young girls told her she was an inspiration to them because she knew her true life was different.

The 18-year-old star said: “Kids used to tell me, ‘You’re my role model.’ And I’d want to shake them and be like, ‘Whyyyyyy?’”

However, after seeking help for her problems, Demi believes she is now a person young people can look up to.

She said: “I finally feel like I can inspire people. I can be proud of it.”

Demi recently revealed how she hopes her honesty about her personal problems will give her fans the courage to seek help for any difficulties they may have.

When asked why she's been so vocal about her personal issues, she said: "Because I know that if I can use my voice to speak to one person, or one family, then I've done my part. I feel like it's no coincidence that God put me through all of this and has also given me the voice that I have. I feel like my purpose on earth is much greater than just being a singer, a musician or actress. I think it's to reach out to people and to raise awareness of these issues that not many people speak about."

Lady Gaga says Amy Winehouse's death is a lesson not to "kill the superstar"

Lady Gaga says Amy Winehouse's death is a lesson not to "kill the superstar."

The 'Edge of Glory' singer spoke of her respect for Amy - who passed away at her home in Camden, north London, on Saturday (23.07.11) – but warned her tragic death at the age of just 27 is a stark lesson to the public.

Speaking on US radio station Omaha 94.1, she said: "It's really devastating and I think it's a lesson to the world - don't kill the superstar. Take care of her. Take care of her soul."

Gaga, 25, also revealed she used to have black hair reminiscent of the 'Rehab' hitmaker's trademark beehive style, and would get mistaken for her around the time her album, 'Back to Black,' exploded in 2006.

She added: "I was nobody when she was first coming out. I had really dark hair and all the time on the street people would go, 'Amy!' And they would go, ''Back to Black.'' They'd scream at me.

"I loved her and I just remember feeling like I wasn't alone because she was so different and she was so special."

Gaga has also paid tribute to the singer on twitter, writing she "changed pop music forever."

Amy was cremated yesterday (26.07.11) in a private Jewish ceremony in London attended by her family, including parents Mitch and Janis, brother Alex, boyfriend Reg Traviss, and a host of close friends such as producer Mark Ronson – who worked with her on 'Back to Black' - and Kelly Osbourne.

People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, Ryan Reynolds is a "sweet" guy says Jason Bateman

Ryan Reynolds
The 34-year-old actor – who has previously won People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive accolade – is "more likely" to be embarrassed about people lamenting his looks, according the director his new film 'The Change-Up,' David Dobkin.

He said: "He's a sweet kid and a good guy. Being Sexiest Man Alive – I'm sure it's humbling – but he's someone who would more likely blush at that kind of attention than be looking for it."

He was particularly friendly with his 'Change-Up' co-star Jason Bateman, and according to David it is because Jason showed Ryan a lot of kindness when he first arrived in Los Angeles to begin a career as an actor.

He said: "My impression was that they knew each other casually. There's some story about Ryan getting to Los Angeles when he was 18 and bumping into Bateman and Bateman being very magnanimous and warm to him and that always sat well with Ryan. It created a sense of connection."

Ryan has previously confessed he has been "teased" by his family due to People's 2010 accolade. He said: "You just have to go with the flow. This gives my family entre into teasing me for the rest of my life.

"Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest Man, take out the garbage.' That does sound better. The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers."

‘How I Met Your Mother’ star Neil Patrick Harris has no plans to marry – VIDEO

Known as one of New York’s most famous gay couples, Neil Patrick Harris and longtime partner David Burtka, have yet to join the hundreds of pairs who said ‘I Do’ in the now equal rights state.

Harris appeared on Bravo’s show “Watch what happens Live,” on Monday night, and confirmed that although the pair took to their Twitter accounts on the night of June 24 to share their excitement about New York State passing marriage equality, they have no immediate plans of getting hitched.

“We have no plans to. We’ve had rings on our right hands for five years. We proposed to each other separately at different times, ages ago.”

“The Smurfs” star confessed that him and his beau planned to make it official in California before Proposition 8 was passed.

“We have contemplated it here (N.Y.)” he said. “The problem is that if you say ‘yes we are planning a wedding’ it becomes a big, giant thing.”

The couple, fathers of twins, was excited for the more than 800 couples who got married this past weekend but said:

“We are certainly not planning a wedding.”

Noel Gallagher says there's no way Beady Eye can eclipse Oasis' success

Noel Gallagher
The 'Death of You and Me' singer has scoffed at his estranged sibling's boasts his new band, Beady Eye, could become bigger than the super-group they were in together.

When asked what he felt about Liam's comments his new band will be more successful than Oasis, Noel told Q magazine: "Someone needs to lie Liam down and waft him with a wet towel."

The 44-year-old guitarist quit Oasis in August 2009 following a huge backstage fight with Liam, who Noel claims tried to take his "face off" with a guitar during the bust-up.

Despite the turbulent atmosphere in his former band, Noel admits he does "miss" certain things about the group, and says he didn't find it easy choosing which musicians to work with on his new project Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

The musician – who is releasing his solo album of the same name in October – explained: "I had two options: you either get a load of kids in, and then you end up looking like Bryan Ferry. Or you don't and you have mates - but then, I don't know many 44-year-olds that aren't bald. But it fell into place nicely. It's the noble thing to do, bands are for the young."

Denise Richards had to “suck it up” when Charlie Sheen brought two prostitutes to a family dinner

Denise Richards
The 40-year-old actress and her ex-husband were enjoying a break in New York with their daughters Sam, seven, and six-year-old Lola last November and while she was surprised by her former spouse’s dining companions, she insists she did not “judge” the escorts.

Recalling the meal – which took place before the actor trashed his hotel room and allegedly held a knife to porn star Capri Anderson’s throat – Denise said: "Charlie invited me to this dinner with 'friends,' and once I realized what these women did for a living, I thought, 'It's one meal; you can suck it up and get through it.'

"It's not my place to judge how they make a paycheque."

Denise – who recently adopted a baby girl named Eloise – also recalled the incident in her new book, ‘Real Girl Next Door’ admitting she accompanied Charlie to hospital after emergency services were called following the disturbance in his room and ensured he was “stable and settled” before returning to the hotel

She wrote: "After I quieted our daughters down, I climbed into bed; I had to get up early for my press. About an hour later, I was awakened by sounds outside my door, including walkie-talkies, which is never a good sign.

"A few minutes later, the cops showed up. Several officers went into Charlie's room, and a sergeant came into mine.

"Charlie was put into an ambulance, and I rode with the sergeant to the hospital, though I insisted I had to be back at 4:30 am. After making sure Charlie was stable and settled, the nice policeman gave me a ride back."

Despite their previous problems, Denise insists she would never cut off contact with 45-year-old Charlie, who she divorced six years ago, because of their children.

She told Us Weekly magazine: "I'll never cut off contact with Charlie. He's my girls' dad. As they're older they'll deal with him how they can.

"A lot of women can't relate to being married to Charlie Sheen or divorcing Charlie Sheen but they can relate to feeling sad, angry, scared and upset."

Charlie Sheen's ex, Denise Richards has been teaching her daughters about addiction

The 40-year-old actress – who has elder girls Sam, seven, and Lola, six, with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, and recently adopted a baby girl named Eloise – felt she needed to “have a conversation” with her children after her former spouse went off the rails earlier this year so they could make sense of his erratic behaviour.

She said: “I got a book to read to them. I was just lying to them about so much, and covering up things and totally lying. It was just getting too confusing that I had to sit down with them."

"It's too early for them to understand. I told them enough for them to make sense of things that were going on."

Denise also insisted that Charlie’s recent behaviour – which has included alleged drink and drug binges and moving two porn star girlfriends into his home – is not typical of him and says she believes he will soon get back on track.

She told ‘Today’ show host Matt Lauer: “The man I fell in love with is very compassionate, humble, has a wonderful heart and the behaviour that a lot of us saw in the last six months is not the person I met and fell in love with.

The 'Never Let Me Go' actress – who was first spotted with the folk musician at an intimate concert in Nashville in February – was showing off her engagement ring to guests at Babington House in Somerset, South West England, over the weekend.

Mariah Carey admits her pregnancy with twins, Moroccan Scott and Monroe, was a “difficult time”

The 41-year-old singer and husband Nick Cannon welcomed twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe into the world on April 30 and the ‘Hero’ hitmaker found carrying the babies was “uncomfortable”.

She said: "February was bleak for me. I was so uncomfortable.

"Being pregnant with twins is different than anything. They were always saying to me, 'Oh but it's so worth it,' and I'm like, 'Yeah, that's easy for you to say when you're not the one whose feet are so big.' It turned into a really difficult time.

“Because my body went through so much holding those twins in; you have to keep them in as long as possible because it’s a sacrifice that you make for them, and so literally I was like 47 weeks pregnant.”

As well as struggling during her pregnancy, Mariah also revealed she has had to alter some aspects of her regular beauty regime for her children.

Paris Hilton is “very excited” to have rekindled her friendship with Lindsay Lohan

The heiress was joined by the troubled actress at her Malibu beach house over the weekend and is said to be thrilled to have finally buried the hatchet with Lindsay, who she has had a turbulent relationship with for over five years.

A source said: “Paris is very excited. She loved seeing her again.”

Other guests at Paris’ low-key party were stunned when Lindsay entered the room as few had realised there was no longer any animosity between them.

The insider told gossip website TMZ: “Everyone was so surprised when Lindsay walked in and we thought they didn’t get along. But they immediately gave each other a big hug."

The group, which also included Paris’ sister Nicky, actress Emma Roberts and ‘Inception’ star Lukas Haas, spent time at the beach and in the socialite’s hot tub and later enjoyed a dance party, but the source insisted Lindsay – who has a history of alcohol and substance abuse problems – stayed sober throughout.

Just last month, Lindsay branded Paris “mean” after she poked fun at the actress’ arrest over the theft of a necklace from an upmarket boutique.

In scenes broadcast in her reality show ‘The World According to Paris’, a homeless woman asked the socialite for a pair of earrings she was wearing,

Paris agreed but joked: "I'm not Lindsay. If I were Lindsay, I'd be stealing the earrings, not giving them away."

The actress was said to have taken the joke badly, telling a friend: "Paris is mean. You don't have to make fun of serious matters in people's lives to be funny."

The pair first fell out when Lindsay was accused of getting too close to Paris’ former boyfriend Stavros Niarchos.

Lady Gaga inherited her wild streak from her father

Lady GaGa
The 'Edge of Glory' hitmaker – who famously dressed in a gown made of meat and once hatched out of an egg live on stage – explained her dad Joe hired a stripper to teach her the piano and used to enjoy al fresco romps with random women.
She explained: "He was having sex with girls under the boardwalk in New Jersey before he went to see Bruce Springsteen.
"He saw a lot of himself in me. My first piano teacher was a stripper. My dad told me later. I used to say to her, 'Why do you have such long nails?' She just said, 'Someday you'll understand why.’ ”
However, the 25-year-old singer credits her father with "kicking her ass" and helping her to stop using cocaine.
She told US radio host Howard Stern: "I was for sure addicted to coke. I got off it because my father called me out and kicked my ass.
"I didn't do it with people, I did it alone. But I regret every line I did."
Despite overcoming her habit, Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – confessed to still smoking cannabis on an occasional basis.
She added: "I don't do weed that often - and I tell the truth about that. I don't respect artists who aren't honest about what they do recreationally."

Hugh Jackman wants Robbie Williams to join him in a series of concerts in London

Hugh Jackman
The Australian actor is set to put on the "fun" gigs when he takes a break from starring in the film version of musical 'Les Miserables' – which sees him play the central character of former convict Jean Valjean – and he has been taking inspiration from late American swing singer Frank Sinatra's Los Angeles performances.

And Hugh is hoping the Take That singer – who previously released ‘Swing When You’re Winning’, which was comprised of tracks which are part of the Great American Songbook – will duet with him on stage.

He told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I loved that anything can happen, relaxed feel about Frank Sinatra - and viewing Peter Allen’s tapes also taught me a lot. We’re planning to do some Sunday night concerts when I’m in London in the spring.

"We’re looking for the right space, and the idea is to do the shows when I’ve got time off from 'Les Miserables'. I just want them to be fun. I feel like I should have a whiskey in my hand, like Dean Martin, and then get Robbie Williams to come on and join me."

The 42-year-old actor – who is set to start shooting new movie 'The Wolverine' in October - recently performed his 'In Concert' show at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, which saw him sing classical tunes from musicals ‘Oklahoma!’, ‘Carousel’, ‘Dreamgirls’ and the Peter Allen catalogue.
He said: "I wanted to create a show where I can’t wait to do it."

Demi Lovato hopes her honesty about her personal problems will give her fans the courage to seek help

Demi Lovato
The 'Skyscraper singer entered rehab last November for three months to receive treatment for her eating disorders and self-harming and believes by being open about her struggles, other people may be willing to seek help.
When asked why she's been so vocal about her personal issues, the 18-year-old star told AOL Music: "Because I know that if I can use my voice to speak to one person, or one family, then I've done my part. I feel like it's no coincidence that God put me through all of this and has also given me the voice that I have. I feel like my purpose on earth is much greater than just being a singer, a musician or actress. I think it's to reach out to people and to raise awareness of these issues that not many people speak about.
"I would love to see people get help for the issues that I've spoken about and see me as an example and say, 'Wow, there is a life outside of this addiction or this eating disorder.'
I think for me, if it prevents somebody from going down the path that I did, or if it saves someone's life because they choose to get help, then I've done my part."
Demi – who also suffers from bipolar – says while her problems are "ongoing" she is trying to get on with her life the best she can.
She said: "This is an ongoing process and the hardest part about these diseases is that they're things that I'm going to have to face every day for the rest of my life. I'm going to mess up and I'm not going to be perfect, but as long as I try everyday to get better and better myself, then I'm one step ahead of where I was before."

Alyson Hannigan says it's important to still style hair once you become a mother

Alyson Hannigan
The 'How I Met Your Mother' star – who has a two-year-old daughter, Satyana, with husband Alexis Denisof – admits she no longer has time to pamper herself but always tried to make her tresses look good, because it can hide a multitude of sins.
She said: “If you only have time for make-up or hair, definitely choose the hair because you can always put on a pair of sunglasses and push the hair into your face and you’ll look very chic. My vanity time has gone out the window since I became a mom, so that’s a great time-saving trick.”
The 'American Pie' actress also says she tries not to feel guilty about being a working mother and just enjoy the time she gets to spend with her daughter.
She revealed to Parade.com: "You have to look at the overall picture. When I’m sitting at work, I feel guilty that I’m not taking care of my daughter. But the fact that I’m working in the morning means that she and I will have the afternoon together. So, you just have to look at the overall picture rather than the day-to-day.”

Olivia Wilde is content to be known for her physical assets

The gorgeous 'Tron' star would love to be revered for her acting skills but she understands that being successful in Hollywood is often dependent on looks although she is insistent she is no 'dunce'.

She explained to The New York Times: "Trying to fight this industry's tendency to celebrate the physical is a waste of time. So I'm happy to play that game. But I am also thirsty for input. I'm not a dunce whose only skill is knowing how to take a photograph, you know? And at the end of the day I think it makes me slightly less replaceable."

However, Olivia is not precious about her looks with 'Cowboys & Aliens' director Jon Favreau revealing Olivia was determined to undertake as many of the stunts on set as she could including one where her character is pulled off her horse by a flying alien.

Of the sequence - where Olivia is taken off a speeding horse by a wire attached to a crane - he said: "Frankly, she put our stunt riders in a tough spot. Here was our ingenue, doing all of the scary stuff and making it look easy."

Lady Gaga spends 15 minutes a day thinking "compassionate thoughts" about herself

The 'Edge of Glory' singer is known for having a lot of self-confidence but she admits she sometimes has her doubts and when she does, she resorts to positive thinking.

She said: "I'm not body confident all the time – just like everybody else. But sometimes I am. You know, I dance a lot and it's important for me to stay in shape, so I can keep up with my fans, who keep me very busy on the road. My advice is to spend about 15 minutes every day having compassionate thoughts about yourself. That might help."

Gaga also says it's important for people to be proud of who they are and not worry about what others think.

She added to more! magazine: "It's all about loving yourself the way God made you. Be proud of what you've got, and do whatever it is you need to do. Try on as many wigs hats, shoes and jackets until you find that person inside you, who defines you the best and makes you feel the most secure."

Jonathan Rhys Meyers joined a group of strangers for an alcohol fuelled party less than a month after a suspected suicide attempt

The 'Tudors' star - who has been in rehab five times for alcohol problems - met the people at a pub in Brixton, South London and continued partying with them at a private residence where he reportedly downed cans of cider and attempted to play Bob Marley's 'No Woman No Cry' on a guitar.

A source at the party told The Sun: "He was drinking pints of cider and was off his face."

Last month the troubled Irish actor refused treatment by paramedics for more than 30 minutes, meaning they were forced to call police and he was eventually taken away by ambulance to a facility near his home in Maida Vale, North London.

A witness said: "This is very sad. It was the opinion of those present that he tried to take his life."

Worried neighbours saw the 33-year-old actor - who was believed to have overdosed on unspecified pills - rushed to hospital.

One onlooker explained: "I saw the ambulance arriving and was worried to death.

"Jonathan is a lovely guy. You see him all the time in the street. He says hello and is very pleasant."

Saoirse Ronan’s dad reads her scripts before her to check they aren’t too explicit

The 17-year-old star has received praise for the mature nature of her acting – appearing in films including ‘Atonement’ and ‘The Lovely Bones’ – but her father always makes sure he discusses any potential movie roles with her before she accepts an offer.

She explained: "My dad and I always read the scripts.

“Most of the time, he'll read it first – to see if there's anything in it that's a bit explicit. Then I'll read it afterwards and we'll discuss it.”

Saoirse has proved a sensation in Hollywood, already gaining nominations for a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and an Oscar, but despite her early success, does not feel any pressure as she becomes a grown adult.

She added: "At the age I'm at, it's a tricky time to try and figure out which is the best project for me to do.

"I've never really felt like I was a child actor. Just an actor who happened to be quite young."

Kristen Stewart was horrified by the robotic baby she worked with in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'

The actress – who plays Bella Swann in the vampire film series - was looking forward to her alter-ego having a child with her on-screen blood-sucking lover Edward Cullen but admits the reality was somewhat different because they used an animatronic child, which was operated by a member of the crew.

Speaking of the moment Bella meets her half-vampire, half-human child, Kristen said: "In the book that was one of my favourite parts.

"But filming it, this guy's sweating under your eye line, they get the hand up to touch your face and then it sticks to your hair and pulls a little bit.

"You're like, 'Ugh! Get that thing off me. Get me a baby, this is ridiculous.' It had hair and it's a newborn baby."
Robert Pattinson – who plays the baby's vampire father Edward – was also repulsed by the artificial baby as it looked like something from a horror movie.

He is quoted by the Daily Record newspaper: "It's Chucky from 'Child's Play'!"

Bella and Edward's daughter, who they name Renesmee Carlie Cullen, grows much faster than other children and Kristen admits filming with some of the child stars was tough because they were bigger than her.
The 5ft 6in beauty said: "Occasionally I couldn't pick up the kid."

James Franco has split from his long-term girlfriend Ahna O'Reilly

The '127 Hours' actor has confirmed his five-year romance with Ahna O'Reilly has ended because he is so busy with his other education commitments, although he did not reveal when they ended their relationship.

James – who has been studying at Yale University, New York University, Warren Wilson College in North Carolina, Brooklyn College and Columbia University – told the new issue of Playboy magazine: "It's over. That lasted about four or five years. We'd been living together in Los Angeles and then came to New York to go to school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her."

James admits he hasn't had much luck with women, particularly when he was at school because he was so "shy and awkward".

Asked when he lost his virginity, he said: "In high school with my girlfriend. Her name was Jasmine. We went out freshman year and then I blew it. She kind of got over me, but we got back together at the beginning of junior year and dated for two years. She was my first real relationship.

"I think girls liked me, but I was awkward, shy and emotionally immature, so I didn’t have a ton of girlfriends. I had short-term relationships and always got dumped, I think because I was too slow for them."
