The ‘World Is Not Enough’ actress – who has two daughters, Lola, six, and seven-year-old, Sam with former husband Charlie Sheen – has named the American tot Eloise Joni after her mother, who died from cancer in 2007.

A representative for Denise said: "Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni) and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise. Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

The star added on twitter: “Thank you all for your sweet messages. The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv … xo. (sic)”

Her mother Dina Lohan said: "She's staying in Los Angeles and planning a quiet birthday dinner.

"It will be very low key with family and close friends. And then she plans to return to her community service right away on Monday ."

Dina denied reports the 24-year-old actress is planning to celebrate with ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson and fellow actress Chloe Sevigny in the Hamptons, although she is keen for Lindsay to pay her grandmother a visit in New York.

Speaking to the New York Daily News newspaper, she added: "Hopefully, she'll get back to New York soon to celebrate with her grandmother, who's 85 and doesn't really like to fly. But there's no party in the Hamptons."

Lindsay was sentenced to 480 hours of community service and 120 days in jail after stealing the necklace, but
she was granted house arrest at her home in Venice Beach, California, due to prison overcrowding and because she is a non-violent offender.

Her lawyer Shawn Holley recently insisted the decision to spare the actress jail time was "fair".

She said: "Anyone with her background would have gotten house arrest, she didn't get a special deal. I worried perception would harm her. But everyone - the judge, the courts - were professional, so it was fair."

Former "Two and Half Men" and famed star of movies such as "Platoon" and "Wall Street", Charlie Sheen has admitted that he took preparation for the 1989 "Major League" movie to the extreme. He revealed that he was taking steroid up to eight times a week.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated the actor said "Let’s just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids…I did them for like six or eight weeks…You can print this… my fastball went from 79 to like 85.”

The actor was interviewed for the "Where Are They Now?" issue of Sports Illustrated.

He also spoke about how the comedy has endured all these years and how he watched the movie recently with his Brian Wilson, Eddie Murray, Kenny Lofton, David Ward and Dublin's own Colin Farrell.

He said "We had this party at my place a few months ago to watch ‘Major League.’ It was awesome. The beard was there — Brian Wilson, from the [San Francisco] Giants. We had [former pro baseball players] Eddie Murray and Kenny Lofton. And I got David Ward to introduce the film. Colin Farrell showed up. And when my big strikeout at the end comes on, the place goes nuts like we’ve never even seen the movie before,”

He continued “I’m in between my two girlfriends, and I look over and there’s Colin Farrell giving me a thumbs-up. I reach behind me for a fist bump from Brian Wilson, who goes, ‘Winning!’ I’m telling you, [director] David Ward created a baseball classic, and baseball is all that matters in the world.

The troubled actor also spoke about how his character, Ricky Vaughn’s, signature hairstyle combined with his steroid use was a dangerous combination.
“I didn’t like the haircut because it generated so many comments in bars. I’ve got enough of that already. Add that to the mix and it’s a recipe for a fistfight."

However Sheen admitted that the physical demands of filming the movie cut down on the number of female visitors he had on set. He said "It wasn’t as bad as on ‘Young Guns’ [a year earlier]. We made that one in Santa Fe, and you would fly into Albuquerque and drive to Santa Fe on this two-lane highway. Literally, the girls that were leaving would pass the ones coming in.

He said "'Major League’ was so physically demanding that you didn’t have a lot of time for that. You’re lying in bed and everything [hurts], and you’re thinking, I have to pitch tomorrow?! But there were certain days that we’d look at the schedule for the next day and be like, ‘Gentlemen, tonight we ride.’”

The 'Edge Of Glory' hitmaker explained while she would like to come back to earth as herself in a future life, the new Gaga would be a "mean and fierce" fairy monster with a "fake mole".

Asked who she would like to be reincarnated as, she explained: "Myself. But I would have all my protrusions be real and I would be a real fairy monster.

"But she would be mean and fierce, too. And have a fake mole. And I would be able to instantly change a wig with a thought in my mind or change my bone structure based on my thoughts."

Bristol Palin has revealed she is encouraging her mother to run for president in the upcoming race on Good Morning America.

The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant said her mother should absolutely run for president despite the media circus that ensued during the 2008 race.

In response to whether or not her mother should run she said: “Absolutely. I think she's awesome," Palin, 20, said. "I think she's smart. I think she would be awesome for our country."

Lady Gaga is being sued for $5 million over her charity wristbands

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker is the subject of a lawsuit alleging she deliberately inflated the cost of shipping and handling of the 'We Pray for Japan' bracelets – which were being sold for $5, plus $3.99 for shipping and handling, and 60 cents for taxes – in order to profit from the charitable venture, which was initiated to raise money for the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

On Gaga’s website it stated that all proceeds from the sale of the ‘We Pray For Japan’ wristbands were going to the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Ari Kresch, an attorney with Michigan-based 1-800-LAW-FIRM, said: "I'm suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for."

The attorneys claim they have contacted Gaga's representatives, who refused to disclose how much money is being "retained" by the star from the sales.

Alyson Oliver explained: "When you use your celebrity and your power as a musician to take money from people under false pretences, that's just wrong.

"When we tried to communicate with the defendants in this lawsuit, all we got was, ‘Well, some of the money is being retained, but we don't really know how much’, is the essence of the response that we got.

"If the money were going to the right place rather than into the defendant's pocket, then I hope that our effort helps that."

Gaga is still selling the wristbands on her website and it is alleged that she has now violated consumer protection laws in every US state.

In addition, some fans have complained that they have not received their wristbands yet.

Wee-Man has paid tribute to 'Jackass' co-star Ryan Dunn - has his face tattooed on his leg

The 34-year-old daredevil died when his Porsche veered off the road, crashed into a tree and burst into flames on last Monday and now Wee-Man - real name Jason Acuna - has had his image etched onto his right leg, to prove how much he meant to him.

He said: "Yesterday I decided, after Ryan passed away, 'How can I do something for Ryan ?'

"Well, it's something he would probably do for any one of us if it was one of us in the situation. I'm going to get him tattooed on me."

The tattoo shows Ryan smoking a cigarette with the words 'Random Hero!' beneath it, but Wee-Man wishes he didn't have to get the etching.

He said: "I wish I was losing a bet and Dunn was still here and I got his face on me."

Upon hearing of Ryan's death, Wee-Man wrote on twitter that his pal was a "happy kick-ass dude".
He added: "I miss you bud."

Ryan's close friend Zachary Hartwell was also killed in the crash.

Johnny Knoxville says his world is 134 percent less funny following the death of his 'Jackass' co-star Ryan Dunn

I don’t know what else to say right now, so I will close with I love you, Ryan. I have a lot of emotions swirling, but I want you to know I love you so very much.”

While Johnny says Ryan never failed to make him laugh, he was a great listener and give serious advice.
He wrote: “He had such a hair trigger laugh reflex. He lived his life wanting to laugh and wanting you to laugh with him. He would cackle really loud, too, and it wasn’t uncommon that he would fall over from it.

“Sometimes I would fall with him because his spirit was very contagious. He was always there if you were sad about something. That’s why all this is even harder because right now I really need to talk to him but I can’t.”

Ryan's close friend Zachary Hartwell was also killed in the crash and a memorial service for Ryan was held last week, which Johnny attended.

Paris Hilton insists she will stay friends with ex-boyfriend Cy Waits

The 30-year-old heiress split from the nightclub entrepreneur last week after 18 months of dating and she is confident they will be able to maintain a good relationship.

She said: "Cy is a good guy. We've been friends for years and it will not change. I just need some time alone to think about myself. We talk all the time. I have nothing but nice things to say about it. "

She said: "People think celebrities get it easier and a break, but the converse is true. With someone in the spotlight, there is a lot of attention on the sheriffs and prosecutors, and they don't want people to know deals are being made.

"Anyone with her background would have gotten house arrest, she didn't get a special deal. I worried perception would harm her. But everyone - the judge, the courts - were professional, so it was fair.

"It was difficult in my mind. I believed public pressure would make the powers that be behave differently but she got what everyone would have."

Despite Lindsay having turned up to one of her numerous court appearances sporting a skin-tight white mini-dress and "f**k you" written on her nails, Holley admitted she can only advise her on what could be the best course of action.

She added to E! News: "We have talked in the past about wardrobe. I didn't see the white dress before she wore it. I have mixed feelings about that, was it the most appropriate dress for court? Probably not, but the reality is she's a young beautiful starlet.

"That's probably conservative by her standards. I'm sorry, I won't tell her to dress in an argyle sweater all buttoned up. That's transparent and phony, too."

Lindsay will continue to be under house arrest until June 29 for violating her probation and for stealing a $2,500 necklace

The 'Bridesmaids' actress is currently single but insists she doesn't feel she is missing out by not settling down or having children yet.

She said: "Marriage doesn't interest me.

Lindsay Lohan en route back to jail? - star tests positive for alcohol

The troubled actress - who has been ordered to stay inside the confines of her apartment in Venice Beach, California, until June 29 while she serves a sentence for violating her probation and theft of a necklace – reportedly had alcohol in her system on both June 13 and June 14 and has now been summoned to appear in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner at the LAX Courthouse on Thursday morning for a probation hearing.

It is claimed Lindsay was drinking as she held a house party on her roof terrace with her friends, where she was seen smoking and drinking out of a plastic cup.

While it has yet to be confirmed that Lindsay tested positive for alcohol, her father Michael blames her friends if the reports are true.

He said: "She is under a lot of pressure and there is a bad influence around her."

'Spider Man's' Tobey Maguire is being sued over high-stakes poker games

The 'Spider-Man' actor has had a lawsuit filed against him by a group of investors who claim hedge fund manager Bradley Ruderman - who lost $25 million of investor money and is currently sentenced to 10 years in prison - squandered $300,000 of their money to Tobey during the games.

The suit stated: "As part of the scheme, funds invested in [Ruderman] were transferred to persons such as Defendant [Maguire] who received the funds on account of Ruderman's gambling losses and on account of Defendant's gambling winnings."

The 35-year-old star is "not entitled to receive the transfers from the Debtor, which transfers were [comprised] of improperly-diverted investor funds".

Lawyers in the case claim because the games were not licensed in the state of California, Tobey's winnings should be recouped.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are among the other celebrities reported to have taken part in the poker games, but they are not being sued.

Bradley is currently in prison in Texas and is not due to be released until 2018. Tobey's representative has yet to comment on the claims.

Michael visited Lindsay last Sunday (19.06.11) for Father’s Day and claims she wasn’t under the influence of any substances at the time but he believes it would be beneficial if she went back to rehab.

He told RadarOnline.com: "When I saw her over the weekend to me she didn't seem like she had any alcohol in her system.

"I'm still opposed to jail. She needs to go into rehab. She needs to be in a programme called G&G Holistic in Florida. Felicity Huffman, the Oscar nominated star of the TV soap Desperate Housewives, says she’s planning on spending part of next year in Ireland both for work purposes and to fulfill a promise to her Irish actress friend Fionnuala Flanagan.

Speaking to the Sunday World, Huffman, who’s married to the fantastic character actor William H. Macy, said that she promised Flanagan she would get to Ireland to perform on stage. She’s determined to make good on that vow, and plans on producing and starring in a version of the David Mamet play Speed-the-Plow next year.

"I promised Fionnuala when we worked together on Transamerica that I would one day make it to the Dublin stage and I don't break promises, so I'm planning to get to Dublin next year once shooting on the new series of Desperate Housewives has wrapped," revealed Huffman, who was Oscar nominated for her starring role in Transamerica; Flanagan played the part of her mother.

By giving a voice to the voiceless, Demi Moore has acquired the admiration of animal activists for raising awareness about puppy mills, by sending a message through her popular Twitter account.

The 48-year-old actress has 3.6 million followers on the social networking site, making her the perfect candidate to spread the word on the anti-puppy mill campaign.

A billboard in Los Angeles from www.dogsinacage.com, asked Moore and her husband Ashton Kutcher to tweet to their fans and spread the message about the campaign.

On June 2 Demi Moore took to her Twitter account and said: "Help spread the word about Puppy Mills-Millions of Dogs desperately need our help!" exactly as displayed on the billboard.

Animal rights groups have been fighting to have puppy mills banned for quite some time as they are facilities where dogs are bred and housed in what are said to be harmful and inhumane conditions until they are sold.

"The Tweet was met with elation throughout the animal welfare community and Miss Moore was praised for her commitment to the humane treatment of breeding dogs in factory farms," one of the campaign's sponsors, the Pennsylvania-based Main Line Animal Rescue, said in a recent statement.

No message supporting the cause was found on Kutcher’s Twitter account as of June 22, but the campaign directors insist that the famous pair use their power to help the dogs in need.
The website www.dogsinacage.com has a message directed to the celebrity couple as well, saying: “Ashton Kutcher & Demi Moore - please Tweet your followers and tell them about puppy mills. Ask them to visit this site or any web site explaining the horrors of factory farming man's best friend.”

It then listed the reasons they are asking the humanitarian couple for help saying that the couple is known to have five rescued dogs, are both on the Top Ten list of celebrities on Twitter and have huge followings, and lastly, they “seem like nice people with strong social consciences and obviously want to make the world a better place.”

Like Moore, other famous Twitter users should re-tweet this heart-wrenching message to also utilize their celebrity status to promote causes that benefit the greater good of the world.
