Lindsay Lohan doesn't want 'Scary Movie 5' co-star Charlie Sheen's help

The troubled actress is grateful for the support she has received from her 'Scary Movie 5' co-star - including giving her $100,000 to help pay an outstanding tax bill - but has rejected his recent offer to be her mentor.

One source told website TMZ that Lindsay acknowledges her life is "out of control" but doesn't accept Charlie's notion that he can help her get back on track because of his own public meltdown in 2011 which involved drug-fuelled arrests, wild partying and ultimately him being fired from 'Two and a Half Men'.

The 'Liz & Dick' star still speaks to Charlie from time to time, but is unhappy that he keeps speaking publicly about her.

According to the website, Lindsay has been meeting with a therapist and believes consistent sessions will help her regain stability in her life.

The 'Anger Management' actor - who will appear alongside Lindsay in a future episode of the show after she landed a guest role - recently expressed his belief he would be a good mentor for the 26-year-old actress because he has battled similar problems with addiction and legal issues in the past.

The 47-year-old star said: "I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not. She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey.

"If she listens, she'll win. If she doesn't, that's on her."

Anger Management’ star Charlie Sheen regrets giving Lindsay Lohan $50,000

Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen

The 47-year-old actor gave his 'Scary Movie 5' co-star $100,000 after she allegedly didn't receive all the money she was supposed to be paid for her part in the film, but he regrets giving her so much after she used it to help pay her hefty $233,904 tax bill.

Speaking on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', he said: "They offered me a decent amount of cash to do 'Scary Five' as a cameo.

"Then they said they're going to hire Lindsay. I thought fabulous.

"They took half my money to give to her and she didn't get it all. And when I found this out I said, 'You got shorted a hundred grand' so I gave it to her.

"I didn't know it was for taxes. If I'd have known that I'd have given her half."

But Charlie believes Lindsay - who narrowly escaped a warrant being issued for her arrest earlier this week - is "smart and super fabulous", and he is confident she will overcome her latest troubles.

He added: "She's terrific, I mean she's going through a lot of stuff.

"She's smart and super fabulous and I think will come out on top eventually, you know."

But Charlie does not hold disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong in such high regard, and insists he was "kind of a douche" to him when they met at a party in 2005.

He said: "He was talking to, I think he was talking to Sheryl Crow at the time. I said, 'Hi Mr. Armstrong, I'm Charlie Sheen. I just wanna say hello.'

"He looks at me, he's like, 'That's nice.'

"If he was a better guy I think in his life he'd be forgiven a lot faster and a lot easier. Kind of like me."

Lindsay Lohan described as a "child lashing out" by costar of new movie

Lindsay Lohan
Seems that Lindsay Lohan is up to her old tricks! The troubled starlet has reportedly been described as a "child lashing out" during her filming for the upcoming 'The Canyons.'

In the film, Lohan is acting opposite 26 year old actor James Deen, who has starred in more than 4,000 porn films. Deen was reportedly taken aback by Lohan's behavior while filming his first mainstream movie.

He revealed: "There were days when she would scream and yell and cry and refuse to come out. In porn I am used to working with professionals who are courteous to others. But Lindsay was like a child lashing out."

It was recently revealed that Linsday, 26, was so keen to get her career back on track that she accepted a mere $95a day for her role in the film - which follows "youth, glamour, sex and surveillance".

However, when she was expected to strip down for one graphic scene, the flame-haired actress is said to have lashed out "screaming".

Deen told the Sun on Sunday newspaper: "We were all standing round naked and the next thing Lindsay was screaming, 'Put your clothes on. For the love of God put your clothes on'."

"So we all put our robes on. But then she sat on the bed topless. When I asked her why she said she was 'allowed to'. With that I dropped my towel - and she stormed off set."

"She then refused to return until the entire crew stripped."

On another occasion Lindsay refused to remove her high heels, insisting she could do what she wanted because she was the "star" of the film.

James added: "It was a simple request. I am a short guy and it looked ridiculous with her towering over me in seven-inch heels."

"But she refused. She was crying and screaming that she was the star of the film. In the end it was decided I would wear boots to make me taller and she finally calmed down."

Although Lindsay caused havoc on set, James couldn't help but notice how "fragile" the industry had made her, continuing: "She is a product of the Hollywood system. She is so fragile you can't help but
feel for her."

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly snubbed a $500,000 offer to appear on 'Dancing with the Stars'

Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan
The 26-year-old star turned down the huge pay day to compete on the ballroom dancing show because she wants to re-establish herself as an actress.

Although she has numerous financial problems, the 'Liz & Dick' actress didn't consider taking bosses up on their offer, gossip website TMZ reports.

A representative from 'Dancing with the Stars' said: "We don't comment on casting."

Lindsay's reputed financial problems include owing her former attorney Shawn Holley $300,000 in unpaid legal fees.

Her 'Scary Movie 5' co-star Charlie Sheen also lent her $100,000 to help her pay off her $233,904 tax bill last year.

Despite the troubled starlet's reluctance to take part in 'Dancing with the Stars' many famous faces have learnt to ballroom dance, including Pamela Anderson, Kelly Osbourne and 'Dirty Dancing' actress Jennifer Grey.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan refuses a plea deal, insists she's innocent

Lindsay Lohan (AP)
More legal woes for Lindsay Lohan! The recent 'Liz & Dick' starlet Has reportedly refused to agree to a plea deal which would have forced her into rehab for six months since Lohan insists that she is innocent.

Lohan is now facing a possible eight months in jail after her probation was revoked last month after she allegedly lied to police about being behind the wheel of her car during an accident on the Pacific Coast Highway in California over the summer.

Lohan has reportedly told friends that she doesn't even care that the prosecutor is willing to let her get off without spending a day behind bars if she pleads guilty since she insists she is innocent!

Law enforcement sources claim, however, that prosecutors have an overwhelming amount of evidence that Lindsay was driving her car during the accident, despite claiming her assistant was.

Prosecutors are said to be willing to strike a deal with the actress that would send her to rehab for six months instead of jail, if she pleads guilty to the charges.

Lindsay has already pleaded "not guilty" in court about lying to police through her lawyer Shawn Holley but has been ordered to personally appear in court on January 30 for a formal pre-trial hearing.

If the case goes to trial and Lindsay is found guilty of lying, she faces 19 months in jail and could be sentenced to another 245 days for violating her probation.

Lindsay was put on probation after being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.

Megan Fox apologizes to Lindsay Lohan after comparing her to Marilyn Monroe

Megan Fox
The 26-year-old 'Jennifer's Body' star insists she didn't mean to "criticize or degrade" Lindsay by drawing comparisons between her former idol Marilyn Monroe and the 'Liz & Dick' actress in a recent interview, in which she said she was no longer interested in following in the footsteps of the 'Some Like It Hot' star because her life was "negative" and she was "unreliable".

Comparing the actresses, she told Esquire magazine: "I started reading about her and realized that her life was incredibly difficult. It's like when you visualize something for your future. I didn't want to visualize something so negative.

"She wasn't powerful at the time. She was sort of like Lindsay. She was an actress who wasn't reliable, who almost wasn't insurable...She had all the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I'm not interested in following those footsteps."

The new mum - who gave birth to her first son Noah with husband Brian Austin Green in September - has now attempted to clarify her comments and insisted she thinks Lindsay is "gifted".

Writing on her Facebook page on Tuesday , she said: "I attempted to draw parallels between Lindsay and Marilyn in order to illustrate my point that while Marilyn may be an icon now, sadly she was not respected and taken seriously while she was still living.

"Both women were gifted actresses, whose natural talent was lost amongst the chaos and incessant media scrutiny surrounding their lifestyles and their difficulties adhering to studio schedules etc.

"I intended for this to be a factual comparison of two women with similar experiences in Hollywood. Unfortunately it turned into me offering up what is really much more of an uneducated opinion.

"It was most definitely not my intention to criticize or degrade Lindsay. I would never want her to feel bullied, as she does not deserve that.

I was not always speaking eloquently during this interview and this miscommunication is my fault."

Drew Barrymore refuses to criticize herself for not losing baby weight

Drew Barrymore
The 37-year-old actress welcomed Olive into the world in September, and she's shunning the idea she should rush to lose her baby weight because a healthy body image would help her child.

She told USA Today: "It takes time. Screw these impossible expectations. I'm doing it very healthy and sensibly. You gotta be nice to yourself.

"What kind of parent are you going to be if you're to be berating yourself in the mirror?

"I want to instill in her that when she's happy on the inside she'll be the most beautiful on the outside. I have to live by that same mantra and it's a lot easier because I get to eat."

Drew married art consultant Will Kopelman in June and is really embracing motherhood, becoming "diaper changer" royalty since Olive's birth.

The 'Going the Distance' star said: "Oh my God. I am king diaper changer! Absolutely. I love baby care.
"You want in life to have that sense that you know what to do. The baby has a schedule.

"This is the temperature the bottle should be. This is how you swaddle. This is how you use a bulb syringe. This is when you do tummy time.

"I do everything so fully. The best thing I can do is be calm and happy, because she senses stress."

Demi Moore is dating Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend

Moore and Morton
The 50-year-old actress, who has three daughters Rumer, 24, Scout, 21, and Tallulah, 18 with her ex-husband Bruce Willis - is reportedly dating the 'Liz & Dick' star's 31-year-old former love interest Harry Morton.

A source told People.com that 'The Joneses' star and the restaurant owner - who dated Lindsay in 2006 - have enjoyed several dates recently and seem really into each other.

The insider said: "Demi was very giddy during her date with Harry. She was really into him and seemed to very much enjoy his company"

The couple were spotted having dinner together in the South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills and have also been hanging out at Demi's mansion nearby.

An insider told E! News: "They are just getting to know one another... (Demi is) in a really good place at the moment and is hopeful about the future."

Demi's new romance comes just weeks after she split from her toyboy lover Vito Schnabel.
The 26-year-old art dealer broke off their relationship last month after he became concerned that the attention surrounding their relationship would distract from his career.

Harry was previously linked to Jennifer Aniston, whom he reportedly dated briefly in 2010.

Meanwhile, Demi's divorce from Ashton Kutcher has stalled over money.

The former couple called time on their marriage in November 2011 but Ashton only filed divorce papers last month and reports suggest they cannot agree on a settlement.

A source previously said: "The sticking point in the divorce has been that Demi wanted the same type of settlement from Ashton that she got from Bruce Willis."

Lindsay Lohan accused of stealing jewellery belonging to Elizabeth Taylor

Lindsay Lohan
The 'Liz & Dick' star - whose probation was revoked last month after she allegedly lied to police about being behind the wheel of her car during an accident in June - allegedly had one of her people return an expensive bracelet after taking it from the home of the late actress's nurse.

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Lindsay became very good friends with Elizabeth Taylor's long-time nurse while shooting 'Liz & Dick.'

"Elizabeth had given the nurse an expensive bracelet that was very meaningful to her and the nurse absolutely cherished it. Lindsay immediately fell in love with the bracelet the minute she saw it and was very vocal about how much she admired it. A short time later, the bracelet disappeared from the nurse's house ... on the very same day Lindsay had been to visit.

"The nurse initially gave Lindsay the benefit of the doubt, thinking that she had just accidentally forgotten to take the bracelet off after trying it on. However, that theory was soon shot down after she called Lindsay and she swore she did not take the bracelet and categorically denied having it in her possession.

"The nurse knew that was a blatant lie as the bracelet disappeared after Lindsay was at the house and she knew that it had to have been Lindsay who took it. In the end, it took over a week to get the bracelet back from Lindsay and it was only returned after the nurse threatened to call the cops. One of Lindsay's people eventually returned the bracelet to the nurse, who was extremely upset about what had transpired."

The 26-year-old troubled starlet has been on probation since being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.

Lindsay Lohan failed to appear in court in New York over nightclub assault charges

The 26-year-old actress - who has been partying in London in recent weeks - was due to find out at the arraignment hearing whether prosecutors plan to pursue misdemeanor assault charges against her in connection with a fight at a Manhattan nightclub last November.

But the troubled starlet's lawyer Mark Heller told reporters leaving the courthouse today: "It may very well be this case does not move forward...ironically a psychic fortune teller has predicted the year 2013 will be an extremely lucky year for Lindsay Lohan," after prosecutors delayed proceedings and the Manhattan District Attorney's Office ruled that the investigation will continue.

Lindsay was accused of punching fortuneteller Tiffany Mitchell at the Avenue Lounge in the early hours on November 29 in an apparent row over The Wanted hunk Max George, but her lawyer still expects the charges will be dropped.

According to USMagazine.com, he said the defense team has drawn up some "very credible evidence and testimony" that would weaken Mitchell's case, including a statement from a witness that Lindsay "did absolutely nothing wrong [and] had made no contact with the alleged victim."

He also joked about the fortune-teller's skills, saying: "From my understanding, Lindsay was being approached by a fortune teller who sought to provide a reading to her and she politely said 'I don't want to participate' and declined. You would think if [Mitchell] was a fortune teller, she would have been able to see this happening in advance. But obviously her skills weren't that honed."

Lohan will not be required to appear in court for the assault case until formal papers have been filed but she is due back in the courtroom for a probation violation hearing next Tuesday (15.01.13) after her probation was revoked last month because she allegedly lied to police about being the driver of her car when it crashed in June.

Lindsay Lohan is putting her latest court battle ahead of her career

Lindsay Lohan

The 'Liz & Dick' star has reportedly told friends that she won't be appearing on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in the UK next month as she is focusing on her upcoming court appearance on January 15, 2013 while relates to her probation being revoked earlier this month after she allegedly lied to police about being behind the wheel of her Porsche during a car accident in June.

Sources close to the 26-year-old troubled starlet told gossip website TMZ.com that rumors she is set to appear on the British reality TV series are "completely untrue" and "nonsense."

One insider pointed out that the actress couldn't commit to the show, which runs for two weeks, because she has a court date in a few weeks, which she is legally required to attend.

However other sources have indicated the broke actress - who has been struggling to pay her debts recently and was given $100,000 by Charlie Sheen to help cover her enormous tax bill - will appear in the series for a huge pay packet.

Lindsay is currently in London where she is said to be hoping to spend time with her latest love interest Max George from The Wanted before he jets to New York for New Year's Eve, although friends say their relationship isn't serious.

A source told EOnline.com: "She likes him and he likes her, but nothing has come of it."

The band are performing in the city but Lindsay is said to have previously told friends that she has no desire to hit the town to celebrate because she wants to prove to the judge that she can be responsible.

Lindsay Lohan's father thinks the actress needs to sincerely take responsibility for her problems

Lindsay Lohan

The 'Liz & Dick' star - who recently had her probation revoked after it was claimed she lied to police over a car accident in June - allegedly isn't worried about possibly being sent to jail because she believes she hasn't done anything wrong and the law will "side with her" but her father Michael Lohan isn't convinced.

He told Hollyscoop.com: "Depends on what she means by 'sides with her?' If Lindsay's side means to admit that she has alcohol and drug problems and sincerely wants to go into treatment with the intention of getting off all drugs, alcohol and prescription meds, then yes!"

Michael also revealed that he believes the entire Lohan family, including his ex-wife Dina, need to attend regular therapy sessions together in order for the actress to start rebuilding her life properly.

He said: "Another major component is that Dina finally has to agree to go to family therapy with Lindsay and me together, which Dina has always refused to do!"

Lindsay could be sentenced to up to eight months behind bars next month for violating her probation, according to reports.

An insider recently suggested that the 26-year-old actress is so confident she will be vindicated that she isn't planning to change her behaviour before her next court hearing on January 25.

The source said: "Lindsay has no intention of changing her behaviour leading up to the hearing. She plans to enjoy the holidays going out to clubs and parties with friends. She thinks she's the victim and is confident the judge will see that too."

Lindsay was recently said to have agreed she had hit rock bottom and needed professional help but claimed she doesn't have the money to hire a psychiatrist as she is currently in debt.

Lindsay Lohan reportedly trashed her trailer on the set of ‘Scary Movie 5’

Lohan with Charlie Sheen in a scene in Scary Movie 5
The troubled 26-year-old actress was said to be so furious when producers failed to provide a private jet for Lindsay and her entourage to fly home on after filming was completed that she took her anger out on her trailer and left it completely ruined.

A source told Hollyscoop: “Lindsay Lohan was a total brat and over-demanding while filming the movie.

“For some reason, the production complied with the private jet demands, but when Lindsay arrived at the location she got so wasted that she didn’t want to leave her hotel room.”

“Because Lindsay was acting like a pouty child, the producers said she couldn’t fly home via private jet and she and her entourage had to fly home on , commercial flight.

“[Lindsay] got so p****d about this that she acted out by clogging the drain in the shower of her trailer, destroying the trailer by smearing fake blood on the walls and also clogging the drain on the toilet.
“Needless to say, they do not want to work with her ever again.”

This isn’t the first time Lindsay has been accused of trashing a trailer, while filming the TV movie ‘Liz & Dick’, she is said to have caused up to $100,000 worth of damage to Dame Elizabeth Taylor's dressing room trailer which was rented for the movie.

Angel Alger, the owner of the so-called love nest - where the late actress' romance with Richard Burton started  alleged there were items missing when it was returned to her and says there were cigarette burns on the furniture and fabric as well as on a picture of Elizabeth.

She added: "I was specifically told that it would come back in pristine condition and in even better condition than it was at that time.

"I did not get to enjoy using the lavish French phone that she used or even her personal hair brush that probably still had some of her hair in it."

James Franco has "tried to help" Lindsay Lohan through her troubles

Lohan in a scene from 'Liz & Dick'
The 34-year-old actor met the 'Liz & Dick' star - who has endured several stints in rehab and numerous legal problems - when he was directing her in a promo video for REM's hit 'Blue' in February 2011, but he hasn't spoken to her for a "long time" since she started getting into "more trouble".

He said: "Lindsay and I had reconnected at that time. I had been writing some poems about the Chateau Marmont and one or two of the poems involved Lindsay.

"I haven't talked to her in a long time because it seemed like she was getting into some more trouble. I've tried to help her."

James is sympathetic to the 26-year-old actress - who recently had her probation revoked after it was claimed she lied to police - and believes one reason why she often finds herself in trouble is because of all the hype surrounding her life and constant offers for her to write a tell-all book about her experiences.

He added to MTV: "I think one of the reasons it's so hard is when she gets in trouble, she gets all this attention and I'm sure she gets book offers.

"Like she goes to jail, and instead of feeling like, 'I really hit a low place', she'll get a crazy offer for her jail memoir."

Lindsay Lohan has sent Charlie Sheen a belated 'Thank You' note

Lindsay Lohan

The 26-year-old troubled starlet - who was given $100,000 by the 'Anger Management' star to help pay off her hefty $233,904 tax bill - sent him a bunch of flowers and a hand-written letter to apologize after he revealed earlier this week that she never thanked him for his generous gift.

Sources close to the 'Liz & Dick' actress told gossip website TMZ.com that Lindsay was very embarrassed by the situation and explained in her letter to Charlie that she didn't mean to be rude but couldn't contact him because she lost his number when her phone broke recently.

The former 'Two And A Half Men' star generously helped out his 'Scary Movie 5' co-star when he heard she was having financial difficulties after not being paid for one of her projects but Charlie admitted he was unimpressed that she accepted money from him but didn't acknowledge it.

He said: "She got shorted and I found out, so I said: 'Here'. I'm still waiting for a text to say 'Thank you'. Anything you know?"

The flame-haired beauty's pals also insisted she is extremely grateful for Charlie's monetary gift but has been distracted by her ongoing legal and financial problems.

A judge revoked Lindsay's probation last week and she is reportedly facing a possible eight months in jail for lying about being behind the wheel of her Porsche during a car crash in June.

The actress sent the bouquet and letter directly to Charlie's house in a bid to repair their relationship and express her sincere gratitude.

It was recently revealed Lindsay is struggling to pay her rent and has been scraping together all the money she can in order to pay $8,000 per month for her Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles.

She has also fallen behind on monthly payments to a storage company, and now owes around $16,000, which could lead to items inside her locker - including designer clothes, family heirlooms and "potentially embarrassing" articles - being sold off at auction if the bill isn't paid by the end of this month.

A strip club has offered to pay Lindsay Lohan's storage bill - if she works for them

Lindsay Lohan

New York's Scores strip club is willing to fork out the $16,000 the 26-year-old actress owes to a storage company and reunite her with her prized possessions - which will be sold off at auction later this month if she can't come up with the cash - should she agree to man their website ScoresLive.com.

The role in question is strictly no-nudity, however, as the club want to hire her as their online video chat webmaster.

Scores has also offered to pay the rent on Lindsay's Beverley Hills mansion for the next couple of
months in the hope she'll agree to their deal, according to gossip website TMZ.

Lindsay - who posed naked for Playboy this year - currently faces losing designer clothes, family heirlooms and "potentially embarrassing" articles stored in her private locker after falling behind on payments.

The 'Liz & Dick' star's bank accounts have been frozen by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) over unpaid taxes of $233,904 for 2009 and 2010, and she also owes £8,000 in rent for her mansion.

Close pal Charlie Sheen recently gave her £100,000 to help her out, but he claims Lindsay hasn't even thanked him for the gesture.

He said: "She got shorted and I found out, so I said, 'Here.' I'm still waiting for a text to say 'Thank you'. Anything you know?"

Prosecutors want Lindsay Lohan to serve 245 days in prison

Lindsay Lohan

The 'Liz & Dick' actress failed to appear in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday on three charges, including lying to police about a traffic accident in the summer – where her probation was revoked and prosecutors are seeking a lengthy stay in jail for her.

A source told RadarOnline: "Prosecutors are going after Lindsay with a vengeance because of her flagrant disregard for the law. The LA City Attorney's office will present evidence to Commissioner Jane Godfrey that Lindsay has a long storied history of lying to cops. Prosecutors want Commissioner Godfrey to sentence Lindsay to 245 days behind bars for the probation violation."

The 26-year-old troubled starlet was arraigned on Wednesday on charges that she lied to police about being behind the wheel of a car when it crashed in June on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Lindsay has been on probation since being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.

The actress - who has been arrested six times and spent 203 days in rehab - was previously said to believe that police have a "vendetta to bring her down" because they were allegedly pushing for her to be jailed for lying about the crash.

Lindsay claimed she wasn't driving her Porsche during the accident, but several eyewitnesses insisted she was behind the wheel.

Lindsay Lohan may be forced to sell prized possessions to pay her bills

Lohan at the A&E Network
The troubled actress has fallen behind on monthly payments to a storage company, and now owes around $16,000, which could lead to items inside her locker - including designer clothes, family heirlooms and "potentially embarrassing" articles - being sold off at auction if the bill isn't paid by the end of this month.

The account has been branded delinquent and the locker can't be opened until the balance is paid off in full.
According to gossip website TMZ, the 'Liz & Dick' star - whose bank accounts have been frozen by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) over unpaid taxes of $233,904 for 2009 and 2010 - has asked friends and family to help out with the payment but so far no one has agreed.

While the 26-year-old star - who also owes around £8,000 in rent for her Beverly Hills mansion - was recently given £100,000 from pal Charlie Sheen to help pay her tax bill, the actor recently complained she hasn't even said thank you.

He said: "She got shorted and I found out, so I said, 'Here'. I'm still waiting for a text to say 'Thank you'. Anything you know?"

Additionally, the 'Mean Girls' star - whose probation was revoked yesterday (12.12.12) after she was formally charged with lying to police - is also said to have enlisted help from her younger sister Ali Lohan, 18, to help sell some of her designer clothes to raise more money.

The ‘Anger Management’ star generously helped out his ‘Scary Movie 5’ co-star when he heard she was having financial difficulties after not being paid for one of her projects but Charlie admitted he is unimpressed that the 26-year-old actress accepted money from him but didn’t acknowledge it.

He told Entertainment Tonight: “She got shorted and I found out, so I said: ‘Here’. I’m still waiting for a text to say ‘Thank you’. Anything you know?”

Meanwhile it has been revealed Lindsay is struggling to pay her rent and has been scraping together all the money she can in order to pay $8,000 per month for her Beverly Hills mansion in Los Angeles.

Lindsay signed the contract for the luxury home in February, when it was believed her career was getting back on track and she was earning more money, but a source has revealed that once her finances hit trouble she resorted to calling on her friends to help pay her way.

Although the 'Mean Girls' actress tried to break her lease in order to move out earlier and not pay rent the owners have warned her the penalty would cost more than if she was to stay and pay, resulting in Lindsay telling friends she plans to move to New York next February once her contract has ended.

Earlier this month Lindsay's bank accounts were seized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) after she failed to pay her tax debts, with the government previously claiming she owes $233,904 for 2009 and 2010.
