The 44-year-old actor has gotten in shape to reprise the role of Wolverine for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and his co-star Ellen Page has been impressed by his physique on set.

She told E! Online: “It's as or more [ridiculous] in person. I might have caught him with his shirt off and I was like ‘Dang! How much time does that take?!'"

Ellen's last 'X-Men' movie was 2006's 'X-Men: The Last Stand' with Hugh and Halle Berry and she loves that the cast have reunited for the prequel, along with the new franchise stars including Jennifer Lawrence.

She said: "It's been awesome. It's felt like a reunion and [with] a whole new cast that's sick. You have Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. I couldn't be more excited to be back.

"I think it's awesome. I think Bryan Singer is making an incredibly epic film."

Director Bryan recently revealed his hopes that the mix of older and newer faces - including Sir Ian McKellen as Magneto from the original trilogy and Jennifer as Mystique from 'First Class' - will entice all audiences.

He explained: "We wanted an opportunity to bring some of the favorite older and younger characters together."

Other A-list stars who are set to reprise their roles from the various 'X-Men' films include Sir Patrick Stewart, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore.

 The former politician and Hollywood star has sold the rights for the TV series to US cable network Showtime.

An hour-long drama is being made into a pilot, set in 1970s Venice Beach, California, tracing the origins of the present-day fitness industry and "culture of body worship" to one gym called Pump.
If a series then gets the go-ahead, Arnold is planned to become a recurring character.

Executive producer Eric Tannenbaum said he was excited when the idea was brought to him by writer Michael Konyves.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "We loved it, but I said the only way you can really tell this story is if we can get Arnold involved.

"The birth of the fitness/bodybuilding revolution can literally be traced back to the days when Arnold arrived in the U.S."

Arnold, 65, started weight training aged 15 and moved to the US in 1968, a year after winning the amateur Mr. Universe bodybuilding title. He then went on to win the professional Mr. Universe title three times, and the Mr. Olympia title seven times. He is widely regarded as the most influential figure in the history of bodybuilding.

Arnold first broke into Hollywood in 1970, but didn't achieve great fame until starring in weightlifting film 'Pumping Iron' in 1977.

The 17-year-old model has been dating stand-up paddle boarder Slater Trout since a friend put them in touch with each other via Instagram and Twitter last year and while Maui based Slater hasn't made it to New York to meet her father Alec, Ireland still wanted them to get to know each other.

She told People.com: "Dad hasn't personally face-to-face met him but he has virtually met him and he loves him, thus far.”

Slater, 18, added: "We've talked on the phone; he's an awesome guy. He said 'I'd love to meet you soon. Come to New York, there's great surf out here.'"

However, Slater has met Ireland's mother Kim Basinger and is full of praise for the actress.
He said: "I love Kim. She's an amazing woman. We've become really close and my parents are good friends with her."

While Ireland lives in Los Angeles with Kim, 59, and Slater is based in Maui, the smitten couple try to see each other at least once a month.

Ireland added: "I have never met anyone who is a more incredible person in my life.

"I would say he is my best friend. We have our moments but that's rare. We can act stupid in public, private or wherever and we are always laughing.

"We're outdoorsy people. I love walks, hiking, exploring and being on the beach."

Slater added: "We don't do normal stuff. We go paddle boarding with humpback whales in Maui. We go on athletic dates. And very romantic ones too. Like we will go to like a bluff and star gaze and go on trail runs and walk the dogs."

Roma Downey and her husband Mark Burnett recently hung out at a NASCAR race in Virginia, where they served as grand marshals and spoke about their fondness for the queen of speed Danica Patrick.

“I’m going to be cheering for Miss Danica, of course. A pioneer woman – she’s extraordinary, doing it for the girls,” said Downey, still on Cloud 9 after the massive success earlier this year of her miniseries The Bible which she produced with Burnett.

The Downey-Burnett clan likes racing cars, and Burnett, producer of huge hits like The Voice and Survivor, is thinking about adding a new show to his reality stable based on NASCAR.

“We absolutely do [race cars], as a family out in California,” Burnett told the NASCAR website. “The whole family goes. My wife’s fast on the race track.”

Downey, originally from Co. Derry and now resident in Malibu with Burnett and their three kids, soaked in the atmosphere of the Virginia race.

“How fun is this to be here? We have our kids here with us and we're all getting in the spirit of the excitement of the day, from driving in this morning and seeing people camped beside the road. It's a whole happening here,” she said.

The British boys are proving popular with American ladies after temporarily relocating to film their reality show, 'The Wanted Life', and said they prefer the more outspoken nature of US girls.

Asked why the feud is still ongoing, Siva Kaneswaran pointed at Max, who said: "It's not just me. It's mainly me, but it's not all me.

"There's a few questions that need to be asked of a couple of them. I'm suspicious of one of [the band's] reasons.

"I think it's him that's confused. But they're all right. I think definitely a couple of them are really sound, and the others are all right."

Bon Jovi is headed to Slane Castle in Co. Meath on June 15 for a big show, but missing in action will be lead guitarist Richie Sambora, who for many years has had a contentious relationship with band leader Jon Bon Jovi.

In fact, JBJ said last week that Sambora is utterly replaceable because his contribution isn’t nearly as vital as U2’s The Edge is to his band.

"It's getting more and more difficult every day to not just sit here and say something," Bon Jovi told The Evening Standard in London, alleging that Sambora’s departure is due to alcohol abuse. 

“Fortunately for us the same guy who filled in last time was available this time.

"Life goes on, so if someone chooses not to be here... unlike if this were, God forbid, The Edge, and he for some reason couldn't make a U2 show, [then] it would be very difficult to just step in."

Ouch!!!!  Sambora wasn’t too happy about the public diss, and said so.  He even hinted that he might rejoin the band in London in July.

“My opinion is Jon wants to see if he can pull off stadiums by himself. He is making it very difficult for me to come back,” Sambora told the Daily Mail over the weekend. “Enough with the trash talking!”

“I would love to be in London for the Hyde Park Bon Jovi show on July 5. Let's see what happens.”

Earlier this year, Bon Jovi spoke of his thrill at getting to play Slane Castle, where acts such as the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and U2 have played. It would be nice for Irish fans if the riff between the two band leaders could be patched in time for the gig.

“This is a huge date for me this summer. I’ve pretty much done everything a man can do.  Slane is the one you circle on the calendar,” JBJ said.

“I can’t wait. I always love coming back to Ireland, especially my time in Dublin, but Slane is the one we haven’t been able to [do] either for scheduling or it wasn’t available, but this year it worked out.”

The Aussie musical hardman Hugh Jackman has thrown down a quote saying Wolverine from “X-Men” could beat Robert Downey Jr’s character Tony Stark, aka “Iron Man” in a fight. Shocking.

Jackman has started filming the sixth installment of the “X-Men” and while speaking to ScreenRant revealed that he would love if Disney-Marvel and Fox’s legal departments would allow the “X-Men” characters to appear in “The Avengers” movies.

He said, “You know, obviously we have people from - one of the great things about this movie is that a lot of people from Marvel are here and it seems a lot more inclusive than it has been in the past. I don't know what's happening behind the scenes, but I think it's fantastic. I actually just asked the other day, I said, 'I don't know what the legal situation is, but why don't these companies come together? Why isn't it possible?'" he asked ScreenRant.

"Because personally, I would love to mix it up with Robert Downey Jr. and Iron Man and kick his ass. It'd be great. [Laughs] There you go. There's your quote!"

Jackman also praised Kevin Feige, the producer of “The Avengers” saying he made him feel very welcome on set before he was cast as Wolverine.

He said, “I think it'd be fantastic. I loved The Avengers. I love what they do with it. Kevin Feige, by the way, I can tell you, is one of the true gentlemen of this business. And I say that from when he was on [the first] X-Men, and I don't even know what his role was, officially, associate producer maybe? But, when I first auditioned for Bryan [Singer], Dougray [Scott] was playing the role. Bryan... I think I was sent there by the studio. I don't think he even knew I was coming, and it was one of those auditions you walk out going, 'Well, I know this isn't happening.' Instead of just putting me on a plane, I remember him taking me out, him and Tom DeSanto took me out to a restaurant because I had to stay overnight. It was too late.

“They took me out for dinner. I remember thinking, I go, 'Well, I know I'm not in this movie, so you guys are true gentlemen.' They were really nice. I know how busy they were. They were already filming at the time, and I know I really wasn't doing it.”

The soccer player is looking for a fresh challenge now he has decided to retire from the sport and thinks he has what it takes to be a star in Hollywood and wants the 'Oblivion' actor to help him establish himself on the screen.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: "David has always wanted to be an action film star, and Tom promised him a long time ago he can make those dreams come true.

"David still loved soccer but feels that now is a great time to transition into film while he's still young enough to land top-notch roles."

David and his spouse Victoria became good friends with Tom and his now ex-wife Katie Holmes several years ago and their bond was strengthened when they were living in America when David was playing for Los Angeles Galaxy.

Hopefully I will survive. I just have to remember that a lot of people have babies, it's a unique experience and I will be okay."

The 27-year-old actress reached out to her more than 1.1 million followers on Twitter on Friday night, writing: "I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs.

The 27-year-old actress addressed her legal troubles in a lengthy rant on Twitter on Saturday, writing: "Don't believe the reports about me being arrested. It's all lies. I was sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last which is who then arrested me. He lied and said I threw a bong out the window when I opened the window for fresh air. Hilarious. He slapped my vagina. Sexual harassment. Big deal. I then called the cops on him. He handcuffed me, which I resisted, quite unlike any of the reports stated."

The actress is upset she was initially sent to hospital, a move which she describes as "offensive."
She said: "Then I was sent to a mental hospital. Offensive. I kept asking for my lawyer but they wouldn't let me. The cops were creepy. The cop sexually harassed me, they found no pot on me or bong outside my window. That's why the judge let me go. Don't believe any reports."

Amanda's parents are reportedly worried she is bipolar or schizophrenic.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 27-year-old actress's recent erratic behavior is not enough for her to be placed under a 5150, California's Welfare Institutions Code, to be evaluated under involuntary psychiatric hold for 72 hours.

The insider said that her parents Lynn and Rick are eager to secure an involuntary conservatorship, similar to Britney Spears, but have been told her conduct has not been severe enough for a judge to take away her legal rights and she has not been diagnosed with any mental illness.

The 47-year-old actor has reportedly decided to ditch his stage name, which he began using when he was only four years old to avoid being confused with his uncle Carlos, to show his respect for director Robert Rodriguez, who was born in Texas but is very proud about his own Latin heritage.

‘Glee star’ Lea Michele has landed a book deal

The 'Glee' actress has been commissioned by Harmony Books, an imprint of Random House’s Crown Publishing Group, to write 'Brunette Ambition', a "part memoir, part how-to and part style-guide" which will portray her life "from normal Bronx-born schoolgirl to Broadway child star to lead actress in one of the most popular shows on television".

Lea said in a statement: “There wasn’t a guidebook when I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and know, to get where I am today. But I believe I can write one of sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm and hard work to make your dreams come true.”

Linking to an article about her book deal, an excited Lea wrote on Twitter: “So excited to FINALLY get to share my exciting news with you all!!! #BRUNETTEAMBITION (sic).”

The 26-year-old actress has been busy spending time with her boyfriend Cory Monteith, 30, since he was released from rehab last month.

The couple first jetted to Canada to see his family before enjoying a romantic break in Mexico.

Rumors were rife last March when the Irish heartthrob was linked to Dublin model Zoe Whelan. The stunning brunette attended the wedding of his older brother Greg and then turned up at several One Direction gigs. But the pair denied they were anything more than friends.

The latest beauty rumored to be dating the One Direction star is British reality TV star Louise Thompson.

But Niall’s Dad told the Evening Herald his 19-year-old son is not dating anyone right now.

"If Niall had a girlfriend, I'd certainly know about it, and he's never said anything about a girlfriend. Niall is definitely single, and I hope he remains that way," Bobby told The Diary.

His father, who lives in Mullingar, said now isn’t the time for Niall to have a serious relationship.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: "David has always wanted to be an action film star, and Tom promised him a long time ago he can make those dreams come true.

"David still loved soccer but feels that now is a great time to transition into film while he's still young enough to land top-notch roles."

David and his spouse Victoria became good friends with Tom and his now ex-wife Katie Holmes several years ago and their bond was strengthened when they were living in America when David was playing for Los Angeles Galaxy.

Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes arrested for drug possession in New York

The troubled actress was taken into custody by police on Thursday night, who visited her New York City apartment after responding to a call for a disorderly person, and she was booked for criminal possession of marijuana, as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence.

According to website TMZ, the latter charge stems from her attempting to throw a 'bong' device out of her apartment windows.

Police were initially called after a building official saw Amanda in the lobby with a marijuana-laced cigarette, and she was reportedly behaving erratically and talking to herself.

She is said to have gone "ballistic" during the arrest, yelling:"Don't you know who I am?"

Before being booked at the police station, she was taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.

The 27-year-old star was expected to spend the night in Manhattan central booking and appear in court on Friday.

The 'She's The Man' star is currently on three years probation for driving with a suspended license, which she was given after making a plea deal earlier this month.

She also has a driving under the influence (DUI) case pending in Beverly Hills.

In December, Amanda - who has worried friends and family with her recent antics - settled two hit-and-run cases after reaching a civil compromise with her victims, saving herself from a potential 12 months in prison.
Along with her legal troubles, she was involved in two bizarre episodes in September 2012, locking herself in a store changing room for nearly two hours and refusing to come out and stripping off during a gym class.

The 'She's The Man' actress has worried her parents Rick and Lynn so much with her bizarre recent antics that they visited several lawyers in a bid to sign over all legal, medical and financial control of her affairs to an external party.

The troubled star was booked for drug possession on Thursday evening when police visited her New York City apartment after receiving a report of a disorderly person.

Amanda - who was spotted smoking a joint in the lobby and behaved erratically throughout the incident - was taken to hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, before being arrested for criminal possession of marijuana, as well as reckless endangerment and felony tampering with evidence when she attempted to throw a bong out of the window.

Her parents' attempts have been unsuccessful so far, however.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "Rick and Lynn have met with several lawyers that handle conservatorships in the past month, because they want to get a conservatorship of their daughter. They have been advised that even as disturbing as Amanda's behaviour is, it's very unlikely that a judge would sign off on a temporary conservatorship.

"Conservatorships are very hard to get, and being mentally ill and addicted to drugs isn't enough. Amanda hasn't ever been to rehab or ever agreed to see a mental health professional. Her parents are absolutely powerless to do anything at this point."

In recent months, the 27-year-old actress alienated herself from her family by moving from Los Angeles to New York when her parents confronted her about her actions, which had resulted in several altercations with the law.

She is currently on three years' probation for driving with a suspended license and has a driving under the influence (DUI) case pending in Beverly Hills. Amanda also previously settled two hit-and-run cases after reaching a civil compromise with her victims.

The insider added: "This latest arrest has broken their hearts and they are sick with worry, but there is nothing they can do under the law."

The star's odd behaviour appears to have snowballed in recent months, with the former Nickelodeon star radically changing her appearance and posting disturbing comments about her weight on Twitter.

Jessica explained to People: "I didn't want to know how much it was worth. It was so thrilling to wear it, but I was overwhelmed too. It was a little scary."

However, the flame-haired beauty quickly overcame her anxiety after she put the piece on and after spending a day with the necklace she felt a kinship to the iconic actress, who died in 2011 aged 79.

She said: "I was the first person to wear it since Elizabeth. I felt as if I was able to spend the day with her today by wearing the necklace."

The extravagant Bulgari necklace was famously given to Elizabeth by her fifth husband Richard Burton after they fell in love on the set of 1963's 'Cleopatra', and Jessica, 36, says she became "captivated" by the historic Hollywood couple's intense relationship after reading a book about their romance.

She added: "I was captivated by what an incredible love story they had. And I loved Richard's famous quote about how 'Bulgari' was the only word Liz knew in Italian. I was just touched by everything about their love."

Speaking at the European premiere for 'The Hangover Part III' at the Empire Cinema in London's Leicester Square on Wednesday, he told BANG Showbiz:  "The good thing is, we got three movies out of it. That’s the icing on the cake. It’s sad. We’re all pretty grateful. The third one, we were conscious of the fact it’s rare that a comedy series gets three movies.

"I miss working with them. Hopefully they’ll be in my life for a long time. I loved Phil. I love that character.
"I feel a state of gratitude. When we made the first movie, we had no idea that there’d be another two, so this is all kind of a bonus. "

The film sees the Wolfpack gang - comprised of Bradley, Zach, Justin and Ed - head back to Vegas to settle one final debt and 'The Hangover' and 'The Hangover Part III' co-star Heather Graham revealed she was thrilled to become an “honorary Wolfpack member”.

She said: "It’s really fun to be around so many talented, cute men. They’re so funny. I loved it. I was told I was an honorary Wolfpack member, so I felt very happy about that."

The 'Suddenly Susan' actress is rumoured to be taking a spot on 'The View' and says a change in attitude about the format has allowed her to consider a role on it.

She told Hamptons magazine: "I used to shy away, because I thought it would be saying that I was giving up on being an actress.

"I think I was intimidated by it because I don't enjoy confrontation. I've always been afraid I don't have an opinion or I'm nervous about offending somebody. Then I realised I'm perfectly comfortable offending people."

Brooke has been linked with a spot on US morning chat show 'The View'  after current host Joy Behar recently she was leaving after 16 seasons.

Barbara Walters, who is at the helm of the series, reportedly thinks Brooke, 47, would be a great addition and is eager for her to take over on the show.

O’Connor went on to explain to the Daily Star that she created the explicit profile to prove a theory to a pal: “Men on dating sites ONLY want the ride and they don’t really give a s*** who or what.”

The actress and the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer have not been seen hanging out together in the past but have a mutual close friend, Taylor Lautner.

Robert, who has dated Kristen on and off for more than four years, moved his belongings out of her home in Los Feliz on Sunday in his red pickup truck after they decided to take a break from their relationship.

An insider said: "She tried, they both tried. They're both good people. It was just not the right thing for either of them right now."

The 'Twilight Saga' stars first broke up for two months last summer after the actress' fling with director Rupert Sanders, and it is said the affair could be the reason for this recent break.

The band's road crew are said to have nicknamed the 20-year-old singer 'Nellie' - in reference to an elephant, an animal famed for its impressive memory - but Zayn has been warned to be more organised ahead of the US leg of the tour, which begins in Florida next month.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Zayn has been told to get his act together this time."

Despite the couple managing to patch things up after a two-month break following Kristen's "momentary indiscretion" with Rupert last year, it is thought their relationship is over for good this time after Rob was spotted moving his belongings out of her home in Los Feliz on Sunday, where they both lived over the last few months.

The source added: "After everything that happened and the hurt she caused, he's furious she'd be back in touch with him, even if she is saying it's completely innocent.

It seems likely the couple could be downsizing, after Drew admitted last month she had cut down on acting work for the sake of looking after her daughter and focusing on her upbringing.

Melissa McCarthy allegedly fired an extra from her new comedy for mistreating her own child

The 'Bridesmaids' star - who has two children, Vivian, six, and Georgette, three, with her husband Ben Falcone - reportedly had the woman, believed to be in her twenties, removed from of the set of 'Tammy' in Wilmington, North Carolina on Monday, after she "harshly jerked" her young child, who had accompanied her to the set.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the young woman had been struggling to control her child, believed to be four or five years old, all morning during the shoot by a lake, for which she was being paid $58 to be appear in a scene as an extra with 200 other people.

The mother eventually lost her temper and "harshly jerked" the child up in the air by the wrist and was loud enough to disrupt the production.

The incident was witnessed in full by Oscar-nominee Melissa, who is directing the movie alongside her husband, and she immediately requested that her personal assistant remove the woman, saying that she wouldn't tolerate abuse on her set.

The woman's identity was not disclosed and a spokesperson for the actress has yet to comment.
Melissa recently revealed that she was very impressed by Sandra Bullock's son Louis for being so protective of her daughters.

The three-year-old tot became close friends with her children when Sandra and Melissa worked together on Paul Feig's 'The Heat' and she previously said: "Louis was my Georgie's first friend her own age. And all three of our kids, my two kids and her boy, they still play together. They have a special relationship."
Paul joked: "Louis' really protective of her too. He punched out two paparazzi during filming."

The power couple - who married in 2008 - have splashed out on the six bedroom, six bathroom home in Montecito, Santa Barbara County.

According to website TMZ, the house has one of the best vistas in the state, and boasts a pool with an ocean view and the property is located on 13 acres of land.

The mansion is the latest addition to talk show host Ellen's property portfolio, which also includes several homes around Los Angeles including in Beverly Hills and Hidden Valley.

Ellen, 55, recently had a scare when one of her properties, a farm in the Camarillo area of California, was threatened by a blaze. She later praised fire-fighters for acting quickly to prevent any harm.

Speaking about the blaze, which happened on May 5, on her chat show, she said: "It was really scary. There were just fires everywhere. This was our farm. I wasn't there.

"We had someone there taking care of it. We had to evacuate the horses and [it was as] scary as can be.

"The air quality is still really, really bad out there. But everything was charred. People lost a lot of land. No houses were lost."
