Demi Lovato quits Twitter following Justin Bieber rumors

It's been in the pipeline for some time but it seems that Demi Lovato has finally canceled her Twitter account.

The Disney Channel star had recently mentioned that she would cancel her account but now she had made good on her threat. Why she did it is still up for speculation but it seems that it might be because of rumors circulation about her and Justin Bieber's relationship after they were spotted spending some time together. There is also rumors still circulating about her relationship with Joe Jonas.

However it also seemed that Lovato was taking the stories in good spirits and she even published a photo of a fan proposing to her earlier this week.

Last year "Hannah Montana" aka Miley Cyrus also removed her Twitter account last year saying that she planned to spend more time with her actual friends and she encouraged others to do the same. 


As the Disney actress' start to jump ship on Twitter could this mean that other celebrities will quit the Tweeting generation?

'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson will take Kristen Stewart boating in Brazil

It has been revealed that Robert Pattinson is taking boating lessons in preparation for "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn". The president of Rio Film has confirmed that some scenes for the movie will be filmed in Rio De Janeiro.

Apparently there had been rumblings of this big news in Rio for some time but finally the president, Sergio Sa Leitao, confirmed the good news, via Twitter. He said the filming of "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" will bring $2 million dollars to the economy.

Already speculation has started about what scenes will be filmed in Rio. The Examiner reported that one of those scenes would be when Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) takes Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) to Isle Esme in a boat.

A source told the Examiner that Pattinson, who is currently in Baton Rouge, has been learning to drive a boat on one of the nearby state rivers.  It's thought that his new interest if water sports in connected to the filming down in Brazil.

Filming for "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" will begin in two days.

Susan Boyle confirms that she will appear in a 'Glee' episode

One of the world's most famous and talked about singers, Susan Boyle, is reportedly going to make an appearance on U.S. television musical show "Glee."

Boyle, 49, is set to appear on the show in an upcoming festive episode.

Rumors are also rampant that the songs Boyle will perform on the show will be available for download before the holidays.

A source said to UK newspaper Daily Record: 'Susan's appearance will be great fun for all fans of the series.'

In other Boyle news, SuBo is set to release her next album, "The Gift" on November 8.

She has been working hard on the album and is said to be really proud of the finished product.

Lady Gaga orders bloody wedding cake for Halloween in Ireland

When it comes to Halloween Lady Gaga takes the cake-- in this case a wedding cake.

So Is Lady Gaga thinking of tying the knot?

Not really but it sure looks like she is out to celebrate Halloween

A café in Dublin was asked to bake a wedding cake for Lady Gaga during her concert tour in Dublin this week.

The Pepperpot Cafe hand delivered the cake to the star's hotel room at the Four Seasons.

The cake was described as two tier, covered in white icing, black lace and splattered in red icing to imitate blood, (see picture).

So it was just a Halloween cake.

Another clue, the cake only had a bride figurine with no groom although Gaga's boyfriend is on tour with her.

Given that Gaga meat costumes are the best selling Halloween gig this year maybe Gaga cakes will start selling like --well hot cakes.

Portia de Rossi, now known as Portia DeGeneres, has revealed that the "shame" of being a lesbian cause her weight to drop as low as 90lbs.

Speaking to Women's Weekly, she said that she really struggled with her sexual identity. She said "It took a long, long time for me to think I had a problem. I was around 90 pounds and I remember feeling very afraid of food every night.

"I didn't want to walk past pizza restaurants because that would make me remember what it was like to eat pizza, and I was truly afraid that I was going to be overcome with the urge to binge and that if I started bingeing then I just wouldn't stop."

She recalled how terrified she was at the thought of coming out when she met, her wife, Ellen DeGeneres', the talk show host.

She said "I had such a long way to go before I could even be seen in public with a woman, much less be seen in public with that one."

Anderson's father Paul Walsh (74) emigrated from Co.Cork in his teens. After he got married he worked as a doorman on Park Avenue and eventually had four daughters, Anderson is the youngest.

According to neighbors the 22-year-old porn star moved to California when she was in her late teens.

Her father yesterday refused to comment when approached by reporters. But her older sister Fiona Walsh said she had spoken with her sister and that she is doing alright.

"She's doing fine, she's OK," Fiona said.

After recently moving back to New York her dad helped her find an apartment in Brooklyn “that was reasonably priced” said one neighbor.

But neighbors told the New York Post that Anderson's Irish father is “heartbroken”.

Lady Gaga gives hot chocolate to Dublin fans

In her latest act of altruism Lady Gaga sent her adoring Dublin “little monsters” fans hot chocolate as they waited outside her hotel hoping to catch a glimpse of the popstar.

After she got her security guards to count heads outside the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin the singer sent out hot chocolate for each fan. The Irish fans were delighted as they posed like "little monsters" for photos.

Gaga was in Dublin this week where she performed three sell-out shows in Dublin's O2 arena. Gaga has described her latest Monster Ball Tour as a 'pop-electro opera'.

During her concert the star admitted to Dublin fans that she loves Irish whiskey when she called Jameson her “long term boyfriend”.

Earlier this week the star made a trip to the Jameson distillery in Smithfield in Dublin where she posed for pictures with the original Jameson founder, John Jameson.
  

'X Factor's' Mary Byrne's curse drives competitors away

"X Factor" contestants are pleading with the shows producers requesting not to sing alongside Mary Byrne this Saturday night because they are convinced the Dublin woman is cursed!

In the past three weeks every competitor who has sang in the same section of the show as Mary as either been renegaded to the sing off or been sent home.

Contestants are convinced any act who performs in the same slot as Mary are instantly forgotten because of her powerful impact.

The 50-year-old has remained safe in the opening stages of the show. Each week she has offerd audiences memorable performances of classics hits such as James Brown's “It's A Man's Man's Man's World”.

Lady Gaga shows up at Jameson brewery and calls the whiskey her "longtime boyfriend"

LADY Gaga showed up at the Jameson Irish whiskey distillery after her Tuesday night show and partied the night away there.

Gaga was playing three concerts in Dublin and told her audiences that her "long time boyfriend" was Jameson.

She dedicated a song to “my longtime boyfriend Jameson” (the man), who was “always there for me when I need him”.

“When the show is over,” she told the crowd, “the glass is always half-full” – before singing into her song ‘Speechless’.

Gaga showed up at the Old Jameson Distillery in Smithfield with an entourage of 15 people in tow including her actual boyfriend.

She posed for pictures with portraits of the original Jameson founder, John Jameson.

A Jameson staff member told TheJournal.ie that the Gaga group stayed for well over an hour,

They also presented her with a bottle of Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve which costs $500 as a parting gift.

Rumor mills run amok when it comes to what Kristen Stewart will do next - Bollywood V Hollywood

According to RealBollywoodNews.com Kristen Stewart is planning to branch out and star in a blockbuster to "set the screen on fire" in an upcoming Bollywood movie.

Their headline reads "Hrithik Roshan To Star Opposite Kristen Stewart In Shekhar Kapur ’s Next" The article says that Stewart will play the romantic role alongside the heartthrob Hrithik Roshan in a new movie "Paani" directed by Shekhar Kapur.

Apparently the pair are bound to have amazing chemistry on screen in what is being described as a kind of "Romeo and Juliet" story.

According to the report, Kapur said he though that Kristen would be perfect for the part because she is "tall and fair". Stewart has dark hair and is just five foot six inches tall. He also said that she has long been a fan of his work. This film is already in pre-production.

Just a couple of things wrong there....Stewart is a little bit busy at the moment filming one of the biggest movies in the world, "Twilight". She'll be working on that until at least Christmas.

Also there are conflicting reports online saying that she will working on "An American Girl" when she finishes up on "Breaking Dawn". According to the OK! Magazine the director, James Woods, has had Stewart on board for this project for over the last two years.

He told them. "She’s been committed to it for two years now, and we’re just about ready to go now in the spring.”

It's hard to know what to believe with so many different stories circulating about the starlet but I'm sure she wont be short of work once she's finished her role as Bella Swan.

Porn star found in Charlie Sheen's trashed hotel room will press charges

Capri Anderson, the porn star found in Charlie Sheen's trashed hotel suite at the Plaza, New York, will press charges.

TMZ have reported that she will ask prosecutors to agree that he violated his probation claiming that she was held against her will. Apparently Anderson,  also known as Christina Walsh, has already found a high-profile Beverly Hills  lawyer to take the case.

Anderson said that she locked herself in the bathroom to get away from Sheen. He punched the door repeatedly and she feared for her life. 

She has said that she will fly to Aspen in the next few days to make her case. However the Pitkin County Court has already said that although they will see her all criminal activity that takes place in New York must be filed in New York. 

There is also questions as to the validity of the claim. When the police found her in the hotel suite there was no mention that she was being held against her will.

The Daily Mail has reported that Sheen's ex-wife, Denis Richards, Anderson and Sheen has been out together earlier in the evening "partying" before they returned to the hotel.

As one person on her team told TMZ, beyond the Pitkin case, "We're weighing our legal options."

Law enforcement sources in NYC tell TMZ ... when cops interviewed Anderson at the hotel, she did not say she felt Charlie was holding her against her will.

Robert Pattinson and the 'Twilight' cast celebrate Halloween with a $48,000 party

Robert Pattinson is organizing a blow-out, massive party for Halloween. The hunky star, who plays, the dark and brooding vampire, Edward Cullen in "Twilight", is paying out a huge $47,782 for the L.A. party.

According to the Daily Star newspaper the whole cast of "Breaking Dawn" have been invited to to a break from filming and get into the ghoulish spirit of Halloween. Apparently starring in a four-part film franchise about vampires and werewolves just isn't dark enough!


“Rob’s organising a huge soirée to celebrate Halloween, he thinks it is going to be hilarious for them all to dress up in scary costumes," said the newspaper's source.

“The crew are huge fans of Rob and are really looking forward to it. Rob knows how much they all love Halloween so has really gone to town.”

“He’s asked a couple of costume designers he knows to make special ghoul costumes for his guests.”

They also reported that the highly original actor, with lets be honest a quirky sense of humor, will be dressing up as Dracula for the party.


The source continued "Rob has also drafted in caterers to cook massive cauldrons full of soup and ale.

“The cast start shooting again on Monday so are free to spend the weekend having fun and getting into the spirit of things.

“There’s no way the cast of Twilight would miss Halloween. It’s a massive event for them and something they’re always up for having a laugh with.”

As well as forking out $47,782 for the party the newspaper's source also said that he bought his friend / rumored girlfriend Kristen Stewart a gold ring with a red heart as a gift.

So apparently this is how you roll when you earn $41 million for just eight months of work on the two part movie, "Breaking Dawn".

Bradley Cooper helps Liam Neeson land ‘Hangover 2’ role

It has been revealed that Bradley Cooper played a large part in helping Norther Irish actor, Liam Neeson, land the role of tattoo artist in the upcoming “Hangover 2” movie.

Cooper and Neeson both starred in “The A-Team” and after Mel Gibson was dropped from the role it seems the Cooper saw the perfect role for his friend Neeson.

This isn’t the first time Neeson has stepped in to save Cooper’s projects. Cooper was meant to be starring in Joe Carnahan’s upcoming “The Grey” but now Neeson has stepped into the breach for the main role. The movie is an action drama about an Alaskan oil drilling team who survives a plane crash and have to fight for their lives.

Demi Lovato, the massively popular Disney actress, has been telling the world, through Twitter, how much she wants to settle down, get married  and start having babies.

Lovato also recently revealed that she quit school to avoid bullies.  She said "Bullying is something I went through when I was 12 years old. I actually ended up leaving school because of it.”

“I was bottling it up 100 per cent and one day I was in a bathroom and the lights were out, I couldn’t turn them on because you had to have a key in a separate part of the school.

Charlie Sheen returns to work in L.A. after his eventful stay at the Plaza

Charlie Sheen has returned to Los Angeles to work having been hospitalized in New York when he was found naked in trashed hotel suite at the Plaza, on Central Park.

According to Sheen's rep he was hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to some medication and it was entirely unrelated to the police presence at the hotel and had nothing to do with the rumors that Sheen underwent a psychiatric evaluation while at the hospital. Multiple reports have stated that it was intoxication that drove Sheen to trash the hotel suite.

Sheen's manager Mark Burg told People "Charlie will be working this week doing a cameo role, playing himself, in a small movie as a favor to a friend and has every intention of going back to work on "Two and a Half Men" on Tuesday...He's looking forward to working."

Robert Pattinson hates how famous he is in the United States

Robert Pattinson has spoken out, to the British media, about how he "can't do anything in America".

It seems that the good-natured, well-manner Londoner, is getting sick of his constant entourage made up of paparazzi and hysterical fans.

The "Twilight" heartthrob admitted that his massive fame presents huge difficulties in the United States, more so than in Britain.

Speaking to the British OK! Magazine he said "It's changed more in America. I always thought it would've by now in London, but it hasn't really.

"I can't do anything in America. I just don't want to have any stories written about me.

"Anyone who likes going out and having their photo taken all the time, to me, seems an incredibly boring person or very delusional.

You want to take control of it all the time and it's impossible. It's nice sometimes. You do get kind of paranoid, but it allows me to do the films I want to do."

This summer Pattinson and some friends from home drove from California to Louisiana. Driving a car with his friends he stopped off at bars, museums and restaurants along the way and he received glowing reports from everyone that encountered him as being a polite, normal guy.

Although he is now impossibly famous in the U.S. it seems that he is managing to keep in under control and not let it go to his head.

Bono got lost on a boozy visit to 10 Downing Street

Bono, the lead singer with U2 who is currently on a break from touring, admitted this week he once got lost after a few drinks at the residence of the British Prime Minister.

Bono, who was spotted this week walking hand in hand with his wife Ali in Central Park, New York, said he got lost at 10 Downing Street after a few drinks and a nice meal.

Said Bono- "So I'm wandering through No. 10 and I got lost.

"It's a labyrinth.

"I'm walking into rooms, looking at pictures on the wall of David Lloyd George, who divided Ireland under threat of war.

"I thought how far have two countries come when the Irish rock star can wander through No. 10 unaccompanied.

"I should have taken a portrait of Lloyd!"

He admits he had a few glasses of wine.

Lady Gaga demands Bikram Yoga instructor while in Dublin for concerts

Lady Gaga wants to get her Bikram Yoga on while in Ireland for her six concerts which are split between Dublin and Belfast.

Bikram Yoga is also known as Hot Yoga and is conducted in a heated room and burns up to 600 calories an hour

Gaga is staying at the exclusive Four Season Hotel in Dublin where she will occupy the presidential suite.

"They booked out a huge number of rooms for her and her dancers but Lady Gaga is staying in the hotel's most exclusive suite." a source told the Evening Herald .

Her demands include that "a Bikram Yoga and Pilates expert be available round the clock during her stay as apparently she sometimes likes to wind down by working out after a show".

"They also asked for a massage therapist to be readily available whenever she requires and said she will more than likely want some other beauty treatments like manicures and pedicures during her stay.

"Other than that they asked for a constant good supply of fresh fruit and bottles of water at room temperature to be in her room."

 According to the Sun the pair have gotten seriously competitive about their chess, Monopoly and Scrabble. They even invite fellow cast members like Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene join them.

The Sun's source said "Rob and Kristen have hours to burn on set and have got massively into board games. It gets competitive. There have been tantrums over snakes and ladders

Charlie Sheen discovered in trashed suite at the Plaza Hotel

According to New York Post, the police were called to The Plaza Hotel just after 2am on Tuesday morning. They arrived to find an in toxicated Charlie Sheen in the middle of a trashed hotel suite.

According to their sources tables and chairs were strewn around the room and the chandelier had been damaged. Sheen was taken to hospital. His ex-wife Denis Richards, who was staying in another room, accompanied him.

Sheen told the police that he had been out parting. He had returned to his room with an unidentified woman. He then noticed that his wallet was missing which caused him to fly into a rage, according to their sources.

Mary Byrne may move out of the 'X Factor' house - SEE VIDEO

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has revealed he may move Irish contestant Mary Byrne out of the house that contestants share.

The Mayo man told The Sun newspaper that the living arrangements were starting to affect Mary Byrne's performances.

"There's lots of noise there and she can't sleep properly," Walsh said. "It's starting to affect her singing."

"If things continue, I'm going to have to move her into a hotel," he added.

In previous weeks it was claimed that Walsh's other contestant Wagner Carrilho had moved out of the Hertfordshire house were currently all the contestants are staying.

On last week's program a last minute decision to change Mary's song meant that the Dublin woman was on edge. Louis' original song choice for Mary went by the way side when the vocalist broke down during rehearsals and admitted she just couldn't connect with the song.

Christina Aguilera back on stage after marriage split

Smile though your heart is breaking is an old show biz commandment. This week no one knows the meaning of that commandment like Christina Aguilera, who performed in public on Sunday for the first time since her marriage breakup.

Aguilera, who announced her split from husband Jordan Bratman earlier this month, performed at The Justin Timberlake and Friends Concert in Las Vegas on Saturday with a little help from Elton John, Salt N Pepper, Selena Gomez and T-Pain.

Timberlake introduced the singer with serious praise as "no contest, the best vocalist of my generation,” and the blonde bombshell gave no trace of her heartache as she performed.

The former child star filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” on October 14, however Bratman is reportedly refusing to leave their marital home.

Their marriage lasted five years and produced their two-year-old son Max, but Aguilera is finding the whole issue so painful she has been staying in a hotel since the split.

"It's not easy, and there have been a lot of tears and sadness," Aguilera told the press this week. "It's impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on.

"On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward," she added.

Ronan Keating befriends Russell Crowe in L.A.

Two unlikely characters have struck up a friendship that may surprise folks!

Boyzone singer, Ronan Keating, and A-list celeb Russell Crowe, have been seen hanging out together in the land Down-Under.

Keating is in Australia to judge the Australian version of the "X-Factor" and Crowe is spending some time with family.

It was apparently Crowe that reached out to Keating, who is having marriage trouble after an alleged affair, via twitter.

The Gladiator star twittered Keating saying he was impressed with his "X-Factor" act Altiyan Childs had performed on the show.

"How good was that? Your man brought the house down," he wrote.

Keating is happy to have a friend in Australia.

He has reportedly said to friends that he finds it lonely there and no one knows who he is.

The pair have apparently had several conversations and Keating has already met with Crowe's wife on the set of an Australian morning show.

Robert Pattinson, famous for his role as Edward Cullen in "The Twilight Saga", has admitted that he turned down a music deal offer from Simon Cowell because he was convinced that no one would like his music.

Pattinson plays guitar and piano and composes and sings his own songs however it seems that he has rejected offers from several music companies including "American Idol" Simon Cowell.

He told the Sun newspaper "I love Simon, I think he is a great personality and I think his shows are entertaining. He is a clever guy and he created artists that he knows the public will like, that's why I don't think he could ever launch my music career."

"I am selfish with my music. I get my guitar and I play what I like, but the problem is I don't think many other people would like it.....I am sure I'll be one of those artists that people don't pay any attention to while I'm alive, and when I am dead people will go yeah, man, that was a work of art."

Jane Lynch, aka 'Glee's' Sue Sylvester, talks marriage on and off screen

Good news for Lindsay last Friday when Judge Elden Fox ordered that the troubled star return to rehab instead of sending her back to jail.

Lindsay has been ordered to stay at the Betty Ford clinic until January 3rd. But her probation report raises the question as to how the 24-year-old will be able to afford the $53,000 bill for her three month stint.

The report says: "She indicates she can not afford to continue to pay for the treatment program and she needs to work."

The report also claimed that "continued inpatient treatment would be a hardship financially, and damaging to her career."

"[Lindsay says] her clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product."

The judge denied her request to be moved to out patient care. Despite being stuck in rehab it hasn't stopped from doing work on her clothe line according to People Magazine.

The celebrity is maintaining work on her 6126 line from her room and has carried out meetings with who ever she needs to talk to.

"Lindsay is still seeing income from the line, and it's doing three times better than originally expected,' a source says. 'It's keeping her busy and productive.'

Her prolonged stint in the Betty Ford clinic means she will have to turn down her role as Linda Lovelace in the upcoming film “Inferno”.

Dr. Lee Sadja, who treated Lindsay when she was briefly in rehab at the UCLA Medical Center, said she needs to stay in rehab until she can accept her addictions.

"There was some denial regarding her drug addiction. [She] needs to continue to work on her issues in order to save her life," the report said.

Come up with another excuse Lindsay, of course you can afford it!

Mary Byrne goes through to the next round of 'X Factor' - SEE VIDEO

Mary Byrne has been voted through to the next round of "X Factor" after an emotional and trying week.

The supermarket check-out worker was in tears on Thursday night as she struggled to learn her newly chosen song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". She resorted to a song she had previously performed saying that she felt the Marvin Gaye original did not suit her voice.

Her mentor on the show, music mogul, Louis Walsh convinced that other judges to allow her to sing "I (Who Have Nothing)", a Shirley Bassey, that had originally earned her a place in the finals.

Although she is safe for this week the panel warned her that she would have to sing something more contemporary to be in with a change of surviving on the show.

Simon Cowell said “You can’t come out every week and do pretty much the same song...This is the style of singing I’ve always done and it’s the style of singing I want to do.”

X Factor’s other Irish contestants were also voted into the next round. Tallaght’s Rebecca Creighton and her all-girl group Belle Amie and boyband 1 Direction, featuring 17-year-old Niall Horan from Mullingar, also avoided elimination.

Carey Mulligan lives in red-light district budget hotel in L.A.

The elfin beauty and Oscar-nominated actress, Carey Mulligan, is living in a budget hotel near the red-light district in Los Angeles.


Mulligan who commands $5 million per movies went to the Best Western hotel after finding herself homeless. She recently split from her boyfriend, of one year, Shia LaBeouf.

Liam Neeson replaces Mel Gibson in 'Hangover' Movie

Liam Neeson has replaced Mel Gibson in 'Hangover 2' just 24 hours after Gibson was removed from a cameo role as a tatoo artists in the new movie.

Neeson got the call after fellow actors refused to work with Gibson and flew to Bangkok on Thursday.

"I just got the call to do a one-day shoot on 'Hangover 2' as a tattooist in Thailand, and that's all I know about it," Neeson told Variety Magazine.

"I just laughed my leg off when I saw 'The Hangover.' I was shooting in Berlin earlier this year and rented it on the hotel TV."

Director Todd Phillips put out a statement after Gibson was cut:

"I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of Jeff Robinov and his team. But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew," he said.

Actor Zach Galifianakis is said to be the reason why Gibson was removed.

Interviewed on the Comedy Death-Ray podcast last week, Galifianakis said, "A movie you're acting in, you don't have a lot of control -- you just show up and vomit your lines out. I'm not the boss. I'm in a deep protest right now with a movie I'm working on, up in arms about something. But I can't get the guys to [listen] ... I'm not making any leeway."

"It has something to do with a movie I'm working on, yeah. I'll tell you about it later. It's very frustrating."

"The Simpsons" creators have just released a promo for this year's "Treehouse of Horror" and it seems that the spoof of the "Twilight" franchise will not dissappoint.

The casting is brilliant. Daniel Radcliffe, who has played goody-two-shoes "Harry Potter" for a good part of his youth will play the role of Edmund. Obviously Edmund is a satire of Robert Pattinson's character, in "Twilight", Edward Cullen.

Also cast is Hugh Laurie famous in the U.S for his role as Gregory House on "House M.D.".

Even from the promo we spotted some killer lines from Edmunds character such as "Let us move between the tree like a bat does....by jumping".

The show will be televised on November 7.

Kings of Leon are worried that Susan Boyle is selling more records

Kings of Leon star Caleb Followill has expressed concern that Susan Boyle could sell more records than the American group.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper in the UK the singer said "I am worried about Susan Boyle."
"If she sells more records than us. She is a force of nature, that woman."

"I am anxious to see how our album does now it's out in the UK. I usually don't think about it but the day before I start to think too much," Followill added.

The Kings of Leon star was speaking in advance of the groups new album “Come Around Sundown” which is due to be released on October 19th in the US, a few weeks ahead of Boyle’s album launch for “The Gift” in early November.

Well,  no surprise there then. It seems like a waste of time to even have these kinds of polls these days. Twihard and Edward Cullen fans will always make sure Robert Pattinson will come up trumps, devoted fans that they are.

Bono feared he would never walk again after back injury last year

U2's Bono has spoken again about how he believed that he would never walk again when he went in for surgery in Munich last May.

As the world's most famous rock band completes it's world "360 Tour" Bono is thankful to be on stage.

Speaking to the Age this week he said "I was walking around saying I could handle it but it turns out I was in grave danger...Those little bits that had broken off were starting to sever nerves in my spinal canal. I was losing the ability to walk."

The 50-year-old rock legend had slipped a disc which puntctured a ligament and broke into two pieces. Just ten weeks after his operation he was back on stage and has recently revealed that the band is working three new albums.

The first of their new albums will be released at the begining of next year and will be produced by Danger Mouse, aka American producer Brian Burton, who has worked with Gnarls Barkley and the Gorillaz.

Bono said "We have about 12 songs with him...At the moment that looks like the album we will put out next because it's just happening so easily."

The second album promises be to be  more of a clubbing album according to the front man. Collaborations with RedOne, who regularly works with Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas rapper, Will.I.Am and French star David Guetta have been promised.

Bono and the Edge have also just finshed working 20 songs for their "Spider Man" musical on Broadway. They are currently trying to convince the other band members that they should release the songs as an album. However it may take a little bit of convincing.

"We haven't convinced the rest of the band to do that yet...Larry definitely has a raised eyebrow," said Bono.

Sir Elton John advises Lindsay Lohan to go to boot camp SEE VIDEO

Sir Elton John offered some sage advice to troubled star Lindsay Lohan on Monday night. While on the red carpet for his AIDS Foundation fundraiser in Manhattan he told reporters that Lohan needs to ask for help and "get rid of the people who are around you, by that I mean her family too," the star added.

He said that Lindsay needs to go to a boot camp rehab setting to get well not somewhere where she will be pampered. Good work Elton John, someone needs to talk some sense into her!

Lindsay is currently out on parole and doing a stint in the Betty Ford rehab clinic for substance abuse. After failing two drug tests in September the actress is due in court later this week  for her probation violation hearing.

As Twihards around the world are holding their breath and grasp on to any old bit of information released about the movie it seems that preparations for filming on “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, part 1” are finally taking place.

The cast, including Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner were all snapped on set in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They arrived with their own cars, drivers and bodyguards and then slipped into their normal relaxed routine chatting and playing with a puppy on the lot.

Speaking about her role as Bella Swan in the upcoming movie earlier this week, Stewart said that she was really excited to start work. “I don’t think I’m giving anything away by saying that Bella turns into a vampire in this one…I’m really excited about that because she’s so different. As dark as this last book is, it’s so right and I can’t wait.”

Louis Walsh backs Irish X-Factor star Mary Byrne for record deal

Louis Walsh has said that Irish X-Factor star Mary Byrne will secure a record deal and that she could be the next Susan Boyle.

In a recent tell all interview with “X Magazine” Louis spoke about the Dublin woman's raw talent.

"She can sell an awful lot of records, like Susan Boyle. It's not always about finding a popstar who can be a puppet for somebody. There's enough of those in the charts," he said.

"Mary, I'm in for the long haul. It's all about the songs for me. I spend more time on my songs than all the other judges put together.

"This girl is going to do so well in this competition. She's going to get a record deal, she's going to fulfill all her dreams, and she's great. She's 50, she's got soul, she's Irish. She ticks all the boxes for me. And she can really, really sing,” he added.

Louis admitted that she may not have the same glamor or style factor compared to the other younger competitors but he insisted the only thing Mary needs is her voice.

“She didn't need any of the tricks that the other girls needed. For Mary it wasn't about tricks and make-up and hair and dancers and things. No, just one thing - her voice, “ the X-Factor judge told the magazine.

Mary Byrne became an overnight sensation when she impressed X-Factor judges at the Dublin auditions of the show earlier this year. A single mum from Ballyfermot in Dublin, Mary works as a check-out teller in a local supermarket.

Kristen Stewart talks about her wedding dress in "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn"

Speaking at premiere of "Welcome to the Rileys" in New York, Kristen Stewart said she is still looking for the perfect dress of the wedding scene in "Twilight: Breaking Dawn". The cast are all heading down to New Orleans to begin filming this week but Stewart still hasn't found the perfect gown.

Talking to MTV from the red carpet she said "I haven't put the one on yet...To be honest, it's such a big deal. It's such a big decision. I have a little hand in having a decision - or having an opinion more - but I think it's pretty much up to [author] Stephenie [Meyer]...I'm not quite sure exactly what it's going to look like, but it will be beautiful, I'm sure."

In a different interview with MTV Stewart also admitted that she still hasn't met Mackenzie Foy, the young actress who will play the role of Renesmee, her daughter in the movie. She said "No, I haven't met her yet. That sounds so weird! 'I haven't met my daughter yet.' Wow."

Speaking about when, the director, Irishman, Bill Condon told her about the casting decision. She said [He] was like, 'Wait until you see this kid. If you and Rob had a kid, this would be it'...I was like, 'That's so weird.' She just looks like - she sort of looks like Bella. Which is absolutely right. Although the funny thing is she has green eyes, and we both have to wear brown contacts together."

Lady Gaga has spiritual commitment ceremony with partner

Not exactly wedding bells but still symbolic, Lady Gaga and her partner Luc Carl took part in a 'spiritual' commitment ceremony in Greece last week.

In a romantic setting the couple confessed their love for one another in what is being described as an intimate moonlit service on the Greek Island of Crete.

Close friends attended the ceremony were Gaga wore a long white dress and Luc was dressed in a white suit jacket with silver zebra print leggings.

A source said: “It was their first step towards marriage. They both dressed up and said beautiful handwritten vows.

“They then exchanged rings in a spiritual service and drank shots before sitting down to a lovely private dinner at a tiny restaurant.

“They wanted to show that they are committed to each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together. They are still planning to marry, but that will come later when she has the time to plan a big Italian-style wedding.”

The source added to Grazia magazine: “Since her beloved grandfather died last month, Luc has been her rock and she’s also had a reminder of just how short life is. She says he’s ‘The One’ and she doesn’t want to lose him ever again.”

Irish 'X Factor' competitor, Mary Byrne, puts love on the long finger

Despite rumors that she is in a hot relationship with fellow contestant Wagner Carrilho Ireland's very own Mary Byrne has said she has no time for romance and needs to concentrate on her singing and the competition. 

The supermarket worker was linked this past week to Wagner but Byrne's focus is not on men. 

Byrne, speaking to the Herald newspaper, said that music is her first love and "that's what I feel I'm married to now -- I've no time for anything else," she said.

On Wagner she said, "He's a lovely man but he definitely wouldn't be my cup of tea and I don't think I would be his. He likes the young women, you know! I'd go for someone around my own age or about 45, between them two."

On her sailing through to the following round, Byrne, 50, said it was "brilliant."

"The amount of support the people back home have been giving me is amazing. My family have been sending me updates the whole time and I'm just bowled over by the whole thing. It's just been unreal," she said.

Byrne also received a huge compliment from superstar Katy Perry.

Perry, who performed on the show last week, said she was a big fan of Byrne's and hoped she would do well.

Irish judge Louis Walsh reveled how much the "Kissed a Girl" singer liked the Dublin woman.

"Katy's mad about Mary's voice, she thinks there's something so soulful about it.

"She has definitely been one of Katy's favorites since she picked her at the Dublin auditions, she has a real soft spot for her," he said.

Walsh is confident Mary would go all the way to the finals.

Grey killed it on DWTS, getting a whopping 25 score of 8-8-9 from the judges as she and her partner Derek Hough rumbled to a rumba to remember on the dance show.

Jennifer was in much worse shape on the 'House' episode where her character was pregnant, and had two different cancers, lung and skin.

Luckily House sorted all that medical mystery stuff out and Jennifer came through just fine.

Isn't House something else? Even the Chilean miners referred to him when they were freed. Apparently their medic was a huge fan.

They probably like Jennifer too.

On DWTS she is fast becoming a fan favorite and a likely winner.

Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka have announced that they are official fathers to twins, a boy and a girl. 

Gideon Scott and Harper Grace were born on October 12. The "How I Met Your Mother" star tweeted "All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."

On Sunday he tweeted "Youngsters. They cry a lot. I thought it was just a long bit that they were doing. I keep saying, 'Annnnd, scene!' . . . but nothing happens."

The Hyannis Village Green, Cape Cod, was filmed with zombies, corpse brides, skeletons, witches and superheroes yesterday the Siobhan Magnus’ fans came out to hear her perform.

The star didn’t disappoint her adoring fans as she burst out of a black coffin on stage, where black combat boots and Medusa headgear. “Thanks for getting spooky”, she said to the crowd.

“March of the Horribles” was a four hour community, Halloween-themed bash, organized by Barnstable and Barnstable High School. The spooky do served as a community party and also a way for the community to celebrate Magnus’ “American Idol” achievement.

Robert Downey Jr plans to have a daughter

Speaking to Playboy magazine Robert Downey Jr has revealed that he plans to have a baby, and preferably a daughter. 

The cheeky "Iron Man" star said "I think I will be wrist-deep in doo-doo within 18 months, I'm calling it, right here."

Downey Jr already have a 17-year-old son from his first marriage with actress Deborah Falconer. During his interview with Playboy he admitted that he would like to have children with his second wife Susan. 

"I think we should probably try to have a girl because I don't want another male entity to have to compete.

"I don't want Indio to feel there's another boy in my life," said Downey Jr.

Alicia Keys is falling in love with her new son Egypt Daoud. Just three days after the birth of her son she tweeted "There is no word to properly describe LOVE, to describe BLISS, to a express a FEELING like this!!!Thank U 4 your love, support and prayers!"

Swizz "Kaseem Dean" Beatz, Keys husband, also tweeted "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life."

In an official statement released by the couple they said their new son is "welcomed by Swizz's three other children."

'Songs of Ascent' new U2 album will come out early 2011 says manager

U2 will release a new album in early 2011 called 'Songs of Ascent" manager Paul McGuinness has revealed.

Speaking to the IrishTimes McGuinness said “I would expect a new U2 album sooner than anybody thinks. I would guess early 2011 before the next leg of the American tour which starts in May,”

He said several songs from the new album have already been released, including 'Mercy', 'Every Breaking Wave', and 'Boys Fall from the Sky'. The album has been given the title 'Songs of Ascent'.

He also defended sales figures for No Line on the Horizon , which he claimed had held up “remarkably well” despite many stories saying the album was a flop and a comment by producer Steve Lillywhite that it did not work.

Lillywhite later disputed the accuracy of the comments .

It sold “roughly” five million copies McGuinness revealed.

Their 2004 album 'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb' had sold twice that number.

The promotion of the album was badly disrupted when Bono hurt his back in May, was operated on and was sidelined causing the cancelation of the tour

Mary Byrne an overweight single mother from Ballyfermot was given a standing ovation by the live audience after she did a magnificent version of Dusty Springfield's You Don't Have To Say You Love Me.
