The star was stunned to pick up the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy award at Golden Globe awards in Hollywood, particularly as she only finished making the film recently and it is still a fresh experience for her.

Speaking of her win, she told E! News, "It's not what I'm used to. It's great. We haven't even been done filming a year. We finished filming, like, nine months ago, so we're still in the whirlwind of making the film, and here we are celebrating it, getting these amazing accolades."

'American Hustle' – directed by David O. Russell – took home three Golden Globes, with Jennifer Lawrence awarded Best Supporting Actress (Musical or Comedy) and the film named Best Motion Picture (Comedy).

In her acceptance speech, Jennifer said, "I don't know why it's so terrifying it's obviously a good thing. Thank you to my family and my team, thank you so much."

Meanwhile, speaking ahead of the ceremony, David compared awards season to his favorite sport, baseball.

He said: "It is a blessing if you're even in the game. You do have to get through every inning. This is an important inning. Anything can happen, you just have to believe in your picture from the heart."

The 'Dallas Buyers Club' actor's five-year-old boy Levi – whom he has with wife Camila Alves – didn't think he would be able to beat the likes of Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tom Hanks to win the Best Actor prize and he now intends to gleefully flaunt his trophy to his offspring.

Quizzed if he had any good luck charms, Matthew told Entertainment Weekly: "I have so many good luck charms, I don't even know most of them. Camila and I were explaining to the kids, 'We're going up and there were five other male actors and that they'd nominated me for Best Actor.

"My son was like, 'I really hope you win, but you're going to lose.' Maybe that was my charm? Now I have to get that little son-of-a-gun and go, 'Ha, ha, ha!' "

Matthew has enjoyed a career rejuvenation in recent years with a string of critically acclaimed films such as 'Dallas Buyers Club' and 'Mud,' but his family remains the most "interesting" thing in his life.
He added, "My life, outside of my career, is extremely interesting to me."

The 44-year-old hunk paid tribute to wife Camila, 31, and their three children – Levi, Vida, four, and 13-month-old Livingston – as he accepted the prize for his role as AIDS victim Ron Woodroof in the dramatic new film.

Mark Wahlberg is jealous that his daughters are obsessed with One Direction

Mark Walhberg doesn't love his daughter's obsession with One Direction.

The 'Lone Ranger' star isn't impressed that his children, Ella, 10, and Grace, four, are huge fans of the 'Story of My Life' hitmakers and wants to punch Harry Styles in the nose but still hopes to arrange for
them to meet the boy band in the near future.

The 42-year-old actor told US chat show host Conan O'Brien on Thursday: "The girls have turned to One Direction, and it's like they don't care about dad anymore."

Mark, who also has sons, Michael, seven, and Brendan, five, with his wife, Rhea Durham, added: "My four year old says, 'Daddy, I like Harry.' She pulls out pictures of him, and she's hiding pictures in the room, and I pretend that I'm gonna rip them up and I get jealous.

But if I see that little p***k, he's gonna get it."

Mark also revealed his plan to corner Harry and his bandmates, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson by inviting them to the premiere of 'Transformers 4'.

He joked: "I could say, 'Hey I really want to meet One Direction, I'm a big fan. Maybe you can do the title track for the film, and then I would beat the c**p out of them in a video."

But Mark hopes to win back his daughters' affections by introducing them to the band soon.

He said: "I'd rather do it now. My oldest is 10, and she's into them as well -- and that'll be the only time I'll ever introduce them to a boy. After that, they're getting locked up. It's Rapunzel time."

The US chat show host, who is a well-known architecture and design enthusiast, and the 'Arrested Development' actress, 40, paid $39.888 million for their lavish new estate, The Brody House, in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.

The high profile couple's new 13,511 square-foot abode features six bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a pool, gym, spa, tennis court and sits on 2.3 acres of landscaped gardens, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

The house, which is located next to the Playboy bunnies' home, underwent extensive renovations over the past two years and is considered one of the most iconic modern properties in all of LA.

Ellen, 55, who has a large property portfolio, recently made a tidy profit by selling her nearby estate for $21 million after buying it for $17.4 million last year.

She sold their equestrian ranch in Thousand Oaks, California, for $10.85 million in September.

The power couple, who also purchased a new mansion in Montecito, California, for $26.5 million last May, also sold their penthouse in Beverly Hills for $843,900 late last year.

The duo, who were married in August 2008, were forced to deny speculation their marriage was in trouble in December after rumours surfaced they were about to split.

Amy Adams is "addicted" to her cell phone

Amy Adams
Amy Adams
The 39-year-old actress is well aware that relying on technology can be damaging for relationships due to lack of face-to-face communication, but she admits she can't part with her device.

Speaking to 'Entertainment Tonight', she said: "I'm addicted to my phone, yeah. Right now, people have virtual relationships - it's with real people, but it's still a virtual relationship.

"So much of business is done virtually, it's hard to connect with people and talk with them, so everything's about perception, and I think we're alienating ourselves from human interaction."

Meanwhile, Amy - who has three-year-old daughter Aviana with fiancé Darren Le Gallo - previously revealed that she forgets that she's famous and is shocked when people stop her on the streets.

She said last year: "I still think I'm like the poor girl from Colorado who worked three jobs to buy a car. That's still my mentality, so I'll be walking down the street, and I forget what I do and who I am.

Someone will come up to me and say hi, and I'm thinking, 'I must know you,' and I realise that, no, I don't know them and they don't know me. At all!"

Amanda Bynes' criminal charges will be dismissed if she stays out of trouble

Amanda Bynes
Amanda Bynes
The 27-year-old actress, who was recently discharged from treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, won't be punished for allegedly throwing a marijuana bong out the window of her apartment in New York City last May if she continues outpatient therapy for the next six months.

A law enforcement source told gossip website TMZ.com that the court case will be resolved on Friday (10.01.14) and Amanda, who was charged with attempted evidence tampering, reckless endangerment and marijuana possession stemming from the incident, will not be required to enter a plea.

The case is expected to be put on ice and the charges will be formally dismissed if she stays on the straight and narrow until the end of June, and the case will then be sealed.

The 'Easy A' star reportedly threw a bong out the window in front of her arresting officers after her neighbours complained that she was smoking drugs in the building but Amanda previously denied any wrong-doing and claimed it was only a flower pot.

The glass from the bong was only retrieved a few days later and had been contaminated by the weather so there was no proof that it was the same item thrown by the actress.

Before seeking professional help, Amanda also escaped charges for setting a small fire outside an elderly woman's home in Los Angeles in July because police believed her actions were rooted in mental illness and prosecutors viewed her conduct as non-criminal.

The actor met the British boy band - made up of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - on an episode of 'Saturday Night Live' and took the opportunity to get a photo of the guys to give to his super-fan daughter Elisabeth Anne.

During an interview with Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show', Steve Carell revealed: "I really scored big with my daughter. I was on 'SNL' when Paul Rudd hosted and One Direction was the musical guest. I got One Direction to sign one of their photographs, the whole band ... all the guys. The whole band signed the photo for my daughter. That was in the stocking so that was a big, big win."

Carell's daughter wasn't the only member of the family delighted with their Christmas gift.

The 51-year-old actor received a paddleboard from his actress wife Nancy which he was thrilled with.
He said: "I got a paddleboard. My wife bought me a stand up paddleboard. It's essentially a really long surfboard that you stand up and you paddle round on."

The 'Hope Springs' star - who also has a nine-year-old son, John, with Nancy - then joked: "It's supposed to be great for the upper body and the core. I had a bad core. No I just thought it would be good exercise and fun!"

The 'Striptease' actress recently holidayed with the Dead Sara drummer in Mexico and his brother Jason Friday says their budding romance is getting serious.

Jason told the latest issue of America's Star magazine: "It's going well. They are great and he seems really happy, so it's all good."

Demi, 51, and Sean, 27, were seen playing in the sea and holding each other while on their Christmas holiday, as she seemed to have finally put her divorce from Ashton Kutcher behind her.

A source said: "At one point, Demi was alone at the bar area on the beach and he came up and kissed her on the mouth. Her whole demeanour changed, she was glowing."

The new couple's public displays of romance continued on into New Year, when the Riviera Maya resort they were staying in threw a Moroccan-themed party.

The source added: "Sean and Demi couldn't keep their hands off each other. They were dancing to Miami Sound Machine's 'Conga' and then she sat in his lap, and they were kissing and hugging constantly."

'Anger Management' actor Charlie Sheen is missing his daughters

Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen
The 'Anger Management' actor has fallen out with ex-wife Denise Richards after claiming she took Sam, nine, and Lola, eight, on a festive holiday so he couldn't see them over Christmas, and is finding being separated from the girls and their sister Eloise - the 'World is Not Enough' actress' two-year-old adopted daughter - tough.

Alongside a picture of a phone case in the shape of a pink bear, Charlie wrote: "hey Sami and Lola!!!! (and mellow-eeze) dad loves and misses u both more than I have words for! xox c #DotingDadd (sic)"

Charlie's comments came a day after Denise retweeted a link to an article from Dr. Charles Sophy - an author and child welfare expert - about the importance of the relationship between fathers and daughters.

Linking to the article, the tweet read: "Fathers, Daughters & Learning Self-Esteem: A healthy father-daughter relationship is key (sic)"

Charlie's tweet to his daughters follows a number he made earlier this week lashing out at Ashton Kutcher, the actor who replaced him on 'Two and a Half Men' when he was fired over his erratic behaviour in 2010.

Praising his former co-star Jon Cryer, he first tweeted on Sunday (05.01.13): "hey Jon!!! u r a GENIUS!!! I effin love and MISS YOU old pal! Q; who's your lame side-kik? c #NiceTryCanonBoy #CH (sic)"

He then wrote the following day: "hey relax everyone! read the hash tag! oh and Jon I'm so sorry I insulted your sidekik I meant REALLY lame c (sic)"

Charlie - who played Charlie Harper on the sit-com - made another attack on the former 'Punk'd' star.

He wrote: "hey Ashton sorry bro all good. now quit barfing on my old brilliant show. Remember Punk'd? how duz it feel? c harp (sic)"

The 'Hercules 3D' star, who recently insisted he is "happily single" despite being spotted getting close to the 'Wrecking Ball' hit maker in Las Vegas late last month, admits he loves hanging out with the21-year-old singer, with whom he has been friends with for six years.

The 28-year-old actor told E! News: "She's an amazing girl and she has a great head on her shoulders. I love hanging out with her because she is who she is and she's such a shining star."

Kellan also understands why people might think they are dating.

He said: "For Miley, I've been friends with her for six years now and we run in the same circle...it's always interesting when two public figures who might be single are seen together. Oh let's start a rumor that they might be together...I just laugh it off."

He added: "I'm just focused on work but I'm happy to be friends with her."

But the 'Twilight Saga' star, who is also friends with Miley's ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth, is determined not to let the rumors distract him from his career.

He said: "I stay out of the tabloids, I don't care to be in the magazines, I don't look myself up."

"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie right too expensive for Mark Wahlberg

Mark Walhberg on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno
Mark Walhberg on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno

The 'Ted' actor was in talks to acquire E.L. James' best-selling trilogy for his production company, but a "bidding war" meant he lost out to Universal Pictures and Focus Features.

He explained on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno': "We had the early beat on it [the book] and we were close to getting it but it didn't happen.

"We were in contact through our agency with the writer. Then she got another agent and they realized what a valuable property it was, created a bidding war and it just blew us out of it."

Though he is disappointed to have lost out on the series, Mark, 42, is "really excited" about another project he has in the pipeline – a movie version of 'Entourage,' the comedy-drama series which starred Adrian Grenier and ran for eight seasons until 2011.

He said: "I'd been clawing and scratching and trying to convince everyone to do it and we finally agreed that it is the best thing.

"I'm really excited that the guys are coming back, I know fans have really missed the show, so to get those guys back, doing what they do, will be great for the fans."

Carey Mulligan says her "heart stopped" when she was approached by the Coen Brothers

The British actress appears as fictional folk-singer Jean Berkey in the moviemaking duo's 'Inside Llewyn Davis' and says she was stunned when she first heard they would like to work with her.

Speaking on "The Today Show" with Matt Lauer, she said: "I was filming 'The Great Gatsby' in Sydney and I got an email and the subject line was 'The new Coen Brothers movie', and that's the moment my heart stopped really, because you never even think you can get a chance to even audition for a Coen Brothers film.

"[Then] I came to Los Angeles and I was doing press and they asked me to audition, so I did in my hotel room, of this very angry young women."

Matt told Carey he had heard her audition frightened the duo, to which she replied: "That's so cool! That's all you want ... My character in this is pretty angry most of the time and pretty vitriolic."

Carey, 28, was also asked about an earlier quote when she said she'd rather do a nude scene than sing in a film.

She explained: "That's true in a weird way. In the context of this film, we had the most incredible people ... T-Bone Burnett produced all the music and he's a living legend. And Justin Timberlake, I have to sing with him, and he's a decent singer, so that's something to contend with.

"I was surrounded by all these great musicians. The prospect of baring my voice in front of all of them was a little bit... I spare everybody my singing apart from when I do it in performance."

Matthew McConaughey found it harder re-gaining weight after 'Dallas Buyers Club' than to lose it

The 44-year-old actor underwent a crazy transformation for the physically demanding role as aids sufferer Ron Woodroof, shrinking from his ripped beach physique to a gaunt frail frame by losing around 50 pounds.

Surprisingly, the 'Failure to Launch' star admitted that he found returning to his original weight more difficult than dropping it.

The Hollywood star - who is married to Camila Alves - told Hollyscoop: "I gained 45 [pounds] of them back. The gaining was trickier than the losing.

"It's more fun, but it's also trickier. The first big meal that you eat, your body remembers that it lived at 182 pounds and it wants to sprint back and you have to pull the reigns and go, 'Woah! We gotta take it easy.' It's a marathon."

Matthew - who has been receiving critical praise for the role and has received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor - was honored with an award for his role in the film at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday and is already being hotly tipped for an Oscar nomination.

He said of the film's success: "It makes it that much more enjoyable to be here sharing it because we were the underdog from day one. We've been the underdog for 20 years."

Vanessa Hudgens' make over for "Gimme Shelter"

The 25-year-old actress' friends were left "concerned" for her when she wrapped the movie because she had immersed herself so much into the role of homeless pregnant teenager Apple, she had lost her sense of self and was in "a bit of a mess."

She said: "I didn't really know who I was - Vanessa was gone. I came home and I was a complete disaster.

"My best friend is still so concerned about me when she thinks about that day because I was just a bit of a mess. I wasn't really comfortable in social situations and my self-esteem was super low 'cause I had no hair and I had put on all this weight, so physically I didn't feel attractive. And I was single."
However, Vanessa had an easy way to feel herself again.

Asked what she did to return to herself, she told Flare magazine: "Extensions! Instant confidence boost!"

Vanessa - who gained 15lbs for the movie - cut her hair off on camera during filming and enjoyed the challenge of transforming herself to feel "grimy and ugly."

She said: "The grimier and uglier I got, the more I was like, 'F**k yeah.'"

And the actress got so into the role, she burst blood vessels trying to portray giving birth convincingly.

She admitted: "I popped a bunch of blood vessels in my neck and face from pushing so hard."

The pair - who flew out to Mammoth Lakes, California for a ski trip on New Year's Day - have  become "incredibly close" in recent weeks but fans won't get to glimpse their budding romance as the 'Story Of My Life' singer has refused to to be filmed because he wants their relationship to remain "personal, not professional".

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "Harry has told Kendall that he will not appear on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' under any circumstances, Harry does not want his love life played out across the world on TV."

Kendall's mother Kris Jenner - who is also executive producer on the show - has given her daughter's new relationship her blessing, particularly because she thinks it will be good for the programme's ratings if the One Direction hunk eventually agrees to appear.

An insider added: "Kris has a double interest. Obviously she wants her daughter to have the best relationship with Harry but as the show's EP knows how much of a draw footage of the pair could be."

Harry and Kendall,18, first sparked dating rumors in November when they were spotted leaving Craig's restaurant in Hollywood and despite a number of rendezvous - including the 19-year-old singer jetting from the South of France to London to see the model last month - the pair have still not confirmed their romance.

Vince Vaughn claims shyness made him make "crazy" decisions

Vince Vaughn
Vince Vaughn

The 'Delivery Man' actor - who has daughter Locklyn, three, and son Vernon, five months, with wife Kyla - hated how "scared" he always felt when he was a teenager, so he behaved recklessly and got into fights, with his actions worrying teachers so much they urged him to see a psychiatrist.

Vince – who is 6ft 5in tall – said: "I wish I had not been so shy and scared as a kid. I did not want that feeling inside me – so I made some crazy decisions. It made me drive a car when I was under-age, at 14, and I tried to do too many things which brought pressure on myself.

"I would cut school and challenge the teachers as I over-compensated for my shyness.

I was also a big boy and I would get into fights as I would be picked on. I was not the toughest kid, but if there was trouble I would be expected to sort it out because of my height.

"Teachers wanted me to see the school psychiatrist at one point because I didn't have the same type of academic pursuits as the other kids. I never went."

Despite his career success and global fame, Vince, 43, admits he is still shy and prefers to hide behind the characters he plays.

He added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: "I do not like the focus to be on me. I am much more comfortable playing a character rather than getting such personal attention. I am bashful and shy in that way."

The hotel heiress designed her Beverly Hills home herself, transforming it from a house with "plain white walls, no moldings and wooden floors" to her dream abode which is kitted out with spacious rooms, walk-in wardrobes and a private party area.

She told the latest UK issue of OK magazine, "I have five bedrooms. My own bedroom is my favorite. I love my closets. I also love my private nightclub because I have lots of parties in it."

One Direction's Harry Styles is taking Hebrew lessons

One Direction's Harry Styles
One Direction's Harry Styles
The One Direction hunk is reportedly obsessed with all things Jewish and is determined to become fluent in the ancient West Semitic language this year.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Harry's made it his mission to learn to speak and write Hebrew. His obsession started with his tattoos, but now he's becoming very serious about learning as much as he can. So far he learnt to write his name and One Direction in Hebrew."

The 'Story Of My Life' singer has been picking up tips on Jewish lifestyle from his director friend Ben Winston, and is particularly fond of kosher food, which conforms to the regulations of Jewish dietary law, kashrut.

The insider added: "Harry also loves kosher food. He regularly visits kosher restaurants on New York. He's even organised for One Direction to play in Israel this year. Ben has been helping him with Jewish cultural tips and Harry has even taken the prayers at their house on Sabbath."

Harry's Hebrew body art - the name of his older sister Gemma written on his arm in the language - and decision to mark religious holiday Yom Kippur sparked fan speculation that he was secretly Jewish last year, but his dad Des Styles took to Twitter to set the record straight.

He wrote: "No idea where the rumours came from but, categorically, Harry is 0 % Jewish. Not at all."

The actress married Will Kopelman in June 2012 and she said her partner made her extremely "proud" when he spoke in front of their family and friends.

She told E! News: "Watching my husband give his speech to everyone was amazing.

"I was so in awe of his eloquence and articulation. I was super turned on, excited, proud. I had so many wonderful emotions!"

Although the speech was a highlight, Drew - who is expecting her second child with Will - admitted one of the best parts of the day was getting a break to "eat some tacos" and rest her feet.

She said: "My girlfriend and I ran into a room to quietly eat some tacos on the floor and I took my little shoes off and my little feet were so happy to be out of those heels for a minute.

"To just take a deep breath and think about everything that I had just experienced.

"I knew I was going right back into it but that quiet moment ... You're not really able to reflect a lot in the middle of your wedding so if you can run somewhere and take just five seconds or five minutes and think about what you don't want to miss for the rest of the night, it's kind of a pleasurable thing instead of doing it the next day when you can't access it anymore."

Michael Fassbender had to master cracking a whip for '12 Years A Slave'

Michael Fassbender in "12 Years a Slave"
Michael Fassbender in "12 Years a Slave"

The 36-year-old actor plays nefarious slave owner Edwin Epps in the historical drama and admits he had to keep practicing with the weapon to perfect his skills so the punishment of his slaves was realistic on screen.

Fassbender found it uncomfortable to play a man so readily willing to inflict pain on other humans in order to control them but he believes his dedication to mastering the tool is apparent to everyone who sees the acclaimed movie.

He told Britain's GQ magazine: "I remember I had to practice on the whip; I had to learn to crack it properly. I remember thinking about the knot it created in my shoulder, the knot it would create from doing such a physical task as whipping the skin off another human's back.

"That physical memory would stay in the body, my body, Epps' body. The body would retain the memory of what you have done to your fellow man or fellow woman. What would the psychological effect of this be? The retention of pain in your body memory? It's got to be stored somewhere. That's what I tried to with Epps. There's a deep conflict in the man."

Steve McQueen's film is based on the 1853 autobiography by Solomon Northup, a Negro man who was born free in New York State but was kidnapped in Washington, D.C. in 1841 and sold into slavery.

The movie also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, who plays Northup, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Giamatti, Brad Pitt and Sarah Paulson.

"Mariah has known Prince Azim for many years. They are friends and have done a lot of charity work together."

Also performing at the event for the sultan's son was Diana Ross, with one guest taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the evening's entertainment.

It is said Mariah played around three of her hit singles, and lead a chorus of 'Auld Lang Syne'.

Rose, 40, added she had started out after the assailant but couldn't catch him, adding: "He was on a skateboard. Too fast. I chased."

Describing the state of the gentleman who had been attacked, she wrote: "Bleeding from the ear. Called an ambulance for him. His little dog tried to protect. :(  (sic)"

A spate of so-called 'Knockout Game' incidents have occurred in the US recently, where young people pick on an unsuspecting older person at random and try to knock them out with a single punch, usually while filming it on a mobile phone.

Authorities have warned against such behavior and vowed to hand out  heavy punishments to anyone caught attempting such a move.

Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Division has been in touch with Rose to get more details about the incident, but the man responsible has yet to be named or located.

"Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" star Chris Pine thinks Hollywood is a "weird bubble"

The "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" star, whose parents were both actors, is eager not to get caught up in the hype and thinks using social media to interact with his fans is a "waste of time."

The 33-year-old actor told The Hollywood Reporter: "Hollywood is like living in a weird bubble. A bunch of people take care of you and get you stuff, and you're the center of that little microcosmic world. You start believing that it is real and ... you deserve it."

He added: "There was nothing romantic about the industry. I grew up in a family where sometimes work was good, sometimes great, and sometimes there was no work."

Asked if he would consider joining Twitter, Chris said: "F**k no! What am I going to tweet about? My sneakers? Or, 'I have 140,000 friends on Facebook.' What does that even mean? I find it to be a waste of time. The internet is so caustic; just a place where people get to spew nonsense and b******t."

Chris also discussed his former co-star Lindsay Lohan and how she opened his eyes to the pitfalls of fame after the starred in 'Just My Luck' together in 2006.

He said: "It was a real cyclone of insanity, like being around The Beatles. It was fascinating to watch, and in hindsight it's really a distinct moment in someone's life when you see what's really wonderful about what we get to do and what's really dangerous about it."

'12 Years A Slave' star Michael Fassbender doesn't see himself as a sex symbol

Who? Me? Sexy?....We give you Michael Fassbender
Who? Me? Sexy?....We give you Michael Fassbender

The '12 Years A Slave' star - who claimed he was flattered to be named the eighth sexiest male movie star worldwide in a poll last year - doesn't believe he's attractive but tries not to think about how much female attention he gets because it would turn him vain.

He said: "I don't see myself as a pin-up. I don't dwell on it. That sort of information isn't good for my own head."

The 36-year-old actor hit the headlines in 2011 for his revealing role in 'Shame', which saw him strip off and show his manhood, and even George Clooney thanked him on stage at the Golden Globe Awards in 2012 for taking over the "frontal-nudity responsibility".

However, Fassbender sometimes wishes the jokes and sexual remarks about the size of his genitals would stop, but he is adamant he would take on a nudity role again if he was asked.

He explained to British GQ magazine: "Of course I would do it again if the film needs it. When filming '12 Years a Slave', [director] Steve [McQueen] wanted me to lose my pants for a particular scene and I was like, 'Steve come on, we've done "Shame" already.'

"Listen, it's not a big deal. I mean half the population has one between our legs and the other half has something else. It's weird how there seems to be so much hype around one man's piece of anatomy. It's just ludicrous, really!"

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron sparked romance rumors after their vacation

The 53-year-old actor and the 38-year-old beauty were seen leaving her Hollywood property in separate cars shortly after returning from Hawaii, where they holidayed at Sean's abode.

The pair were spotted soaking up the sun in their bathing suits over the new year as they spent time relaxing on a beach in Hawaii near the 'Gangster Squad' star's home.

Speaking to the New York Daily News, an eye-witness described them as looking "very close and comfortable together".

Sean - who was previously married to Madonna and has dated several stars including Scarlett Johansson – and Charlize have known each other for years but their latest jaunt has fueled recent speculation they could be dating.

Charlize has two-year-old son Jackson – who she adopted in 2012 - but there was no sign of him as she holidayed with Sean to see in the new year.

The dazzling blonde is said to be keen to adopt another little one this year so Jackson can have a sibling to play with.

A source recently said: "Charlize admits it's a lot to go through, but she definitely wants Jackson to have a little brother. She's starting the process all over again right after the new year. She wants Jackson to have a sibling who isn't four or five years younger than him - she wants to raise them together."

Tom Hardy is "driven by fear" of his own addiction

The 'Inception' star has been clean for 10 years after checking himself into rehab to deal with his alcoholism and crack cocaine use  in 2003.

The actor told the Daily Mirror newspaper, "If I had four pints of lager and half a bottle of vodka I could turn this room into an absolute f***ing nightmare in about three minutes. I could destroy everything in my life I have worked so hard for.

"If I stop working they might take it away from me. People will say, 'Tommy you're doing well,' and I say, 'Am I?' In my head I'm still the kid. Does that make sense?"

He continued: "I love what I do, but it's driven by a fear of not being able to do it. It's the same with drinking - if I stop then who am I? What have I got? I have to watch that drive.

"It doesn't matter how well I am doing, I'm only that far away from f***ing it all up."

Tom, 36, has a five-year-old son, Louis, with ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed and is now engaged to 32-year-old actress Charlotte Riley.

Tom - whose marriage to ex-wife Sarah Ward broke down in 2004 - admits he had to lose something he cared deeply about in his life to realize he did have a problem with alcohol and needed to quit drinking.

Tom said: "I did something particularly heinous that allowed me to wake up.

"I had to lose something. Sometimes you have to lose something that is worth more to you than your drinking."

The One Direction hunk - who was introduced to Kendall Jenner by their managers in November - "charmed" the former Olympic champion when they met at Bruce's Malibu beach house by discussing the sport.

Although Harry and Kendall have denied dating, they have been getting close in recent months and the singer was spotted leaving Bruce's Californian home days after they were seen going for a meal in Hollywood on Nov 25.

A source told the Daily Star, "When Harry and Bruce met at his Malibu home a couple of weeks ago, Harry charmed his way through the visit by talking about golf. Bruce is very protective when it comes to his daughters."

Bruce recently separated from his wife Kris Jenner with whom he has daughters 18-year-old Kendall and 16-year-old Kylie - who were catapulted to the spotlight on reality show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' - and understands the pressures of being in a relationship while in the limelight.

The source added: "He's experienced how difficult it's been to have a relationship in the public eye with his estranged wife Kris.

"Harry wasn't in for an easy ride but things couldn't have gone better, all thanks to golf."

Last month, Harry flew into London to see Kendall and was pictured outside Kendall's hotel at 2.20am, looking tired as he arrived.

He also took her to Therapy, a gay bar in New York City's Hell's Kitchen area, where an onlooker said: "He was holding Kendall's hand."
