The former 'Twilight Saga' stars - who have been dating for more than four years - are happy their relationship is finally back on track after the 23-year-old actress's brief fling with married director Rupert Sanders last summer, and no longer feel under pressure because they aren't working together.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "There was so much drama. They were so young and couldn't handle the pressure.

"Because the pressure of the movie is off of them, they're learning how to live their lives like normal people."

The couple have been inseparable since the British actor, who turns 27 on Monday, returned from a two month stint in Australia in March, where he was busy filming his upcoming movie 'The Rover'.

Kristen was previously said to have been eager for him to prove their romance is still going strong by attending the Met Gala with her last Monday and while Robert failed to attend the event, he did accompany her to New York and treated her to a pizza date the next day.

An insider said they are eager to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, saying: "They're confident that the media attention will die down now and they can prove that they are normal and functional and drama-free.

"Pretty much all they like to do is work, hang out with each other and friends and take care of their dogs -- they are keeping their priorities straight."

A spokesperson for the local police department confirmed to HollywoodLife.com: "Yes that it the case [that he was cautioned]. He will not be fined, it is just a simple caution. We had a chat with him and told him that it is a requirement to wear a helmet while cycling a pushbike. It's no biggie.

"Someone took a picture of him when he was out cycling so that is how we knew. If he does it again he will be fined."

Local radio station SAFM Adelaide broke the news of the actor's brush with the law on Twitter, saying: "Twilight's Robert Pattinson has been cautioned by SA Police for not wearing a helmet while riding a bike in #Adelaide #Newsfeed"

Rob recently revealed that he is finding the movie, which he is filming in the outback alongside Guy Pearse, very challenging.

Robert has rekindled his romance with his ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’ co-star despite her fling with married director Rupert Sanders and although it took his siblings Lizzy and Victoria some time to move past Kristen’s betrayal, they have decided to forgive her for their 26-year-old brother’s sake.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: "It was really important for Kristen to win back the love and trust of Rob's family, and she has done just that.

 "They are all back on really good terms -- even better than before. Kristen reached out to Rob's sisters and expressed how sorry she was. They are proud of how far she has come and they know she has been treating their brother like gold."

It was recently revealed Kristen, 22, is set to star in a sequel to ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’, the movie on which she met and fell for Rupert but he will not return as director as he is still trying to save his marriage to Liberty Ross.

A source said: "The script has already been written and production will begin late next year.

"However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director."
