Irish American starlet Olivia Wilde has reportedly set the date with her beau comedian Jason Sudeikis after just a year of dating.

This will be the second marriage for both Wilde and Sudeikis. Olivia Wilde was married to filmmaker Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011, and Sudeikis was married to 30 Rock writer Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010.

A source close to the couple confirmed the news to People magazine: "They are so excited. And very, very happy."

The 'Tron: Legacy' actress is set to marry the 'Saturday Night Live' star in his hometown of Kansas City, after dating for around a year.

A source told website RadarOnline: "Everyone in town is buzzing about the wedding. They have already booked the venue and are in the process of finalizing the rest of the details.

"Jason is a hometown boy at heart, and he is super close to his family and all his friends there. It has always been his dream to get married back in Kansas City."

Olivia, 28, split from her first husband eight years, Tao Ruspoli, last February and was soon linked to 27-year-old Jason.

After a few months of dating, things got serious and she recently put her $2.5 million Los Angeles home on the market so that she could move in with Jason in New York City, where his show is filmed.

A source said: "Olivia is so over commuting back and forth between LA and New York. At first she was worried that if she left the West Coast the acting offers would dry up. But these days she is more focused on her relationship than her career. She's all about what's best for them as a couple and that means living in NYC."

The 'Cowboys and Aliens' star has only lived in the 1929 Spanish-style villa property since March 2011 - a few months after she divorced her husband of eight years, Tao Ruspoli.

The home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a library, as well as a media and screening room. Any security-conscious prospective tenants will be glad to know it also comes equipped with state of the art video surveillance technology.

Olivia Wilde has put her Los Angeles home on the market to move closer to boyfriend Jason Sudeikis

The 'TRON: Legacy' actress has bought a new place in New York City where 'Saturday Night Live' star Jason lives, and is selling her Californian pad for $2.5 million.

Olivia, 28, has only lived in the 1929 Spanish-style villa property since March 2011 - a few months after she divorced her husband of eight years, Tao Ruspoli.

The home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a library, as well as a media and screening room. Any security conscious prospective tenants will be glad to know it also comes equipped with state of the art video surveillance technology.

Although Olivia's new place in New York cost more, at $3.2 million, the Manhattan loft apartment is, in fact, smaller, with just two bedrooms.

Olivia recently described her love life with Jason, saying they "have sex like Kenyan marathon runners" and she is "blissfully in love", at a 'These Girls' monologue event, but was later embarrassed when these details were made public.

She tweeted: "The 'These Girls' monologues at Joe's Pub were not meant for publication, and, in context, were a celebration of LOVE, girls, and honesty.

"Sneaky recorders are everywhere these days, but performance art doesn't always translate accurately to tabloid interpretation."

The ‘Butter’ actress – who has been dating Jason for 10 months – revealed her sex life suffered in her marriage to Tao Ruspoli, which ended in 2011, but she couldn’t be happier with the ‘Saturday Night Live’ funnyman.

According to Vulture magazine, she said: "I felt like my vagina died. Turned off. Lights out . . . you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina.

"Sometimes your vagina dies. Then you know it's time to go. There's no reason to sacrifice your womanhood and femininity for some sort of weird feeling of responsibility to something that may not be right. I feel like far too many women do that."

Olivia and Jason – who she says are "blissfully, hopefully, wildly in love" – reportedly moved in together recently but are in no rush to wed, as they have both been married before.

A source said: "They are living together now," and are "totally inseparable."

Jason was previously married to actress and '30 Rock' writer Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010.

The source added: "They've both been married, so they've already experienced that and know what it entails. It's something for down the road."

Olivia Wilde idolized co-star Jennifer Garner on the set 'Butter'

Olivia Wilde & Jennifer Garner
The 28-year-old actress plays a stripper called Brooke in the satirical comedy movie alongside Jennifer - who portrays Laura Pickler, the ambitious wife of a skilled butter sculptor.

Olivia admits she was in awe of 40-year-old Jennifer because she managed to balance work with the responsibilities of looking after her three children - Violet, six, Seraphina, three, and six-month-old Samuel.
Olivia gushed: "I would stare at smart Jennifer, who has three children and shepherded this project, and I'd follow her around in her arms if she'd let me."

The 'Tron: Legacy' star had wanted the get the film - a political satire of the 2008 Democratic Presidential primary contest in the US - made for years but it was only when Jennifer showed an interest that the film got off the ground.

Olivie added to the New York Post newspaper: "I play Brooke, a sardonic stripper with a heart of gold ... This outrageous comedy was on my list for years. I was obsessed with it. Willing to fight for the role. But I couldn't get it going on my own. Then along came Jennifer Garner, who has a production company and - voila! - it got made.

"It's sort of a political diatribe, picking on the Tea Party a little, but no characters like Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann. It really makes fun of the delicious extremism in our country. And then, of course, on top of the whole thing, naturally, there's a butter contest."

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis were rescued by fishermen in Jamaica twice

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis
The couple was on the Caribbean for a vacation and got caught up in danger because of their competitive nature.

The 28-year-old actress has been dating Jason, 36, for six months and revealed they had a kayaking mishap and potential jellyfish disaster during their first holiday.

She said on 'The Late Show With David Letterman': " He was really good at getting in his kayak right away, but I got bashed in the knees. . .I was like, 'Babe, you're so good.' And he's like, 'Honey, I'm an athlete, so. . .'"

"I was trying really hard to be in front since he made that athlete comment, so I was really pushing through. It got a little too treacherous and I turned around and Jason was gone. Gone! I saw an upside down kayak . . . and suddenly I realised that I was about to go over.

They soon "resurfaced and we were rescued by a team of fisherman."

The 'People Like Us' star added: "On my way back in, I got stung by a swarm of jellyfish. . . I was covered in welts. I was like, 'Babe, you have to. It's the only way. You have to swim through the swarm of jellyfish.'"

"We were fighting for honor. It got really serious. I had to go and get the same rescue team to come back with a kayak to get him out of the water."

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis’ public display of affection in NYC

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis
The Irish “House” star Olivia Wilde and “Saturday Night Live” funny man Jason Sudeikis were spotted kissing in New York City this week. It seems this beauty and the goofball romance is going swimmingly.

The pair were snapped in the city on Sunday as they stopped to cross the street. The paparazzi snatch and impromptu shot of the actors who can’t seem to keep their hands of them.

It seems that art is imitating life, or vice versa, as the pair are set to star in the movie “Relanxious” together, playing a couple. In the movie Wilde’s character deals with crippling anxiety while Sudeikis’ suffers from agoraphobia. Maybe they could get a two-for-one deal with “House”?!

Olivia Wilde feels "lucky" to have had a "peaceful" split from her husband

Olivia Wilde
The 28-year-old actress separated from spouse Tao Ruspoli last February after almost eight years of marriage and while she admits the breakdown of their relationship was painful, she knows it could have been worse.

She said: "When you split with someone you love, you think you're the only person who has ever gone through it; 'Oh did you listen to The National on repeat and lie on Marlboro Lights and chocolate for three months? Me too.'

"But I was lucky to have such a peaceful parting. It's never easy, it's f***ed up and I wouldn't recommend it. But there were no kids involved, so we could see it as this wonderful chapter.

"And anyway, you fall in love again. Oh God, to think you only fall in love once in your entire life is such a depressing thought."

Olivia is even considering turning her experiences into a screenplay.

She added in an interview with the new issue of Britain's GQ magazine: "I actually think the subject of young divorce is pretty funny and I'd like to write a movie about it. Can you imagine a young couple fighting over the Ikea furniture?"

Olivia Wilde admits that too much make-up can make her look like a ‘tranny’

Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde has admitted she is always wary applying her make-up as she doesn't want to end up looking like a transvestite.

The 27-year-old Irish American actress, who was recently named as the new brand ambassador for Revlon, alongside Emma Stone, said that her jaw line can make her look like a ‘tranny’.

"A strong eye and a strong lip is hard for my face," she told Stylelist.com. "I can go tranny really fast. It's true, because I have a really strong jaw. So for me, I just have to be cognizant of the way that it transforms my face."

The star, who was recently snapped filming her latest flick in New York, said she has always been conscious of her lips.

"I never had beautiful, luscious lips - that was never my defining characteristic." she revealed. "I focus more on playing with my eye makeup, I've always enjoyed it."

She said she loves to wear dramatic black winged eyeliner.

"French New Wave film stars like Anna Karina - I always really loved that aesthetic. You always gravitate toward things that naturally sort of fit your face," she explained. "I'm now confident enough with eye makeup that I can have a little mirror and throw on eyeliner in the back of a cab."

Speaking about her beauty faux pas in the past, Wilde said she is particularly embarrassed by her old school days.

"I was experimental as a kid, I had every different color hair. I had horrible, horrible ideas of what was cool, but then you learn and you play. I thank God Facebook didn't exist then," she laughed.

"I plucked off all my eyebrows in school! For seven years, I haven't touched my eyebrows. I mean, I don't let anyone near them with a tweezer."

The acting star said she has discovered a lot more confidence in her twenties.

"In your 20s, you're sort of figuring out, that you shouldn't be anybody else," she revealed. "And once you hit that, once you realize that, 'Oh, I have a thing that no one else has, I should celebrate that,' then I think you hit a stride of confidence that empowers you."

Irish American actress Olivia Wilde is currently in production for her latest film ‘The Longest Week,’ co-starring Jason Bateman. The film is set for release in 2012 and has been filming recently in and around New York City.

In the new movie, Wilde plays the role of Bateman’s love interest - the two were spotted lip-locking on set last week. Wilde and Bateman also starred alongside each other in the 2011 film ‘The Change-Up.’

Besides filming, though, the brunette beauty has popped up in recent news for commenting to Page Six on the explosive Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries divorce. On it, the recently divorced Wilde commented “I empathize. It's not easy. It's the hardest thing in the world. People judge you because divorce is seen as failure. [Kim] took a risk. No one should be attacking her. Our attention should be focused on things that are truly scandalous."

Later, though, after her comments gained some traction across media outlets, Wilde (@oliviawilde) tweeted: “I've never seen the Kardashian show. My point was that our collective brainpower is wasted on judging her. Let's end wars and feed people.”

Fair play to Wilde, who takes an active interest in politics and human rights organizations, most notably with Artists for Peace and Justice.

Olivia Wilde's divorce from her husband Tao Ruspoli has been finalized

Olivia Wilde

The 'Cowboys and Aliens' actress split from her husband Tao Ruspoli in February after eight years of marriage and the break-up has now been made official.

Following their split, Olivia - who met Tao when she was just 18 and married him six months later – admitted she was going through a tough time.

She said: "The trauma of the divorce has been humbling. And for the first time, I'm a little wobbly. I'm a case of arrested development, in a way - from spending your 20s with someone who really loves to take care of you, as my husband did.

"But I think it's very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person."

While she still considers Tao - son of the late Italian Prince Dado Ruspoli – a friend, Olivia admitted it was clear for some time the marriage was going to fail.

The 27-year-old beauty revealed: "When the relationship becomes about working to make it work, it's lost that beauty and that optimistic bohemian sense that brought us together."
