The couple - who play on screen lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in the 'Twilight Saga' series - have rekindled their romance after Kristen had an affair with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders but it took a lot of grovelling and effort by the actress to convince the actor to take her back.

The touching video comprised of photos and footage of their life together made Robert realise he didn't want to throw their relationship away.

A friend of Kristen, 22, told The Sun newspaper: "She sent Robert the film after bombarding him with hundreds of texts, emails and answer phone messages.

"It was a last-ditch attempt at getting him back and she spent ages making the video montage using hundreds of photos and hours of home film footage of nights out and holidays."

It would seem that Google Chrome's recent advert - which sees a man begging for his ex-girlfriend's forgiveness through a film -inspired the actress as she chose the same approach to try and gain Rob's forgiveness.

The source added: "It was just like the Google Chrome ad as she cut-and-pasted lines from love poems to connect it all together."

The pair have been spotted out several times since they got back together, most recently at a Prince concert in Los Angeles last week, and Kristen recently spoke about how she has learnt from her mistake.

She said: "You have to be OK with your own fears. If you're an honest person you'll make mistakes, but it'll be OK. The most interesting things happen after making mistakes."

Take That - also made up of Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Jason Orange - split in 1996, one year after original member Robbie Williams quit the group, before announcing their reunion in 2005 and their three subsequent albums and tours have been met with universal critical acclaim.

However, One Direction - who are about to release their second album, 'Take Me Home' - have no plans to disband yet and are enjoying every moment of their sensational career so far.

Niall, 18, says the group love the album's second single, 'Little Things', and are looking forward to seeing the reaction of their fans when the video is released.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We heard the new song and said, 'Yeah, that's a cracker, we want it.'

"For the video, we just kind of sit around in a studio and act like we're recording."

One Direction first shot to fame on 'The X Factor' in 2010 and were signed by show boss Simon Cowell to his Syco Records label after they finished third on the talent show.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "When they sat down, they exchanged an awkward glance with Katie, but she kept her cool and didn't say anything. The embarrassed Halloween crew quickly covered up the costumes before Suri got a chance to take a look."

The 'Twilight Saga' actor is reportedly set to be named the new face of the French fashion house's line of men's fragrances and will star in an advertising campaign in the coming months.

According to E! News the deal is for three years with a source close to the actor saying: "Rob likes the brand."

If the deal goes ahead, Robert will be following in the footsteps of his on and off screen lover Kristen Stewart, who is the face of Balenciaga fragrances.

Speaking about her relationship with the Spanish design house, she previously said: "Balenciaga has always stood out to me.

Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always knew and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That's the way it is."

Creative director of the brand Nicolas Ghesquiere insisted Kristen was great for Balenciaga because of her "progressive character".

He said: "Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence.

The 23-year-old singer has been chosen to present one-hour show 'The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night' alongside rapper LL Cool J on December 5.

One Direction spent the day with a number of sick children at a London hotel last week.

The pop group teamed up with Rays of Sunshine, a charity which grants the wishes of seriously and terminally ill children.

According to ContactMusic.com, members of the band spent time with 7-year-old burn victim Niamh Wyle, nine-year-old Grace Millar, who has undergone a liver transplant, and nine-year old leukemia patient Eve Kelly.

"It's such a small thing for us but the kids get so much out of it. We really love doing things like this. We leave smiling because they are always so wonderful," said Liam Payne.

Bandmate Niall Horan added, "It is totally humbling to meet kids like this. And it really makes you feel good that you can do something nice for them. We've had amazing good luck and many of these children haven't. But they are always happy and we go away feeling brilliant. It's like we're giving something back."

A second source added that "They're dating - it's early days but they're very cute together."

A source said that "Liam is heading back to America at the start of next month to work on his new film Non-Stop. He told Freya that he wants to take a break and concentrate on his family."

But really, I've got one true failing as a human being and that is, I find it very difficult to forgive people. 'American Idol' judge Mariah Carey splashed out $1,500 on an eight-hour massage

The 'American Idol' judge hired a masseuse to help her relax at her Los Angeles mansion last month, and during the rub down she insisted on watching Sacha Baron Cohen's 2009 comedy movie 'Bruno' – which lasts 81 minutes and sees the actor portray the titular character, a flamboyant fashionista - on repeat.

A source told Us Weekly: "The masseuse made $1,500. She insisted 'Bruno' play on repeat. It looped the entire time!"

Mariah may have required the massage to relieve tension built up after feuding with fellow 'American Idol' judge Nicki Minaj on the show, but the programme's bosses are said to "love the drama".

A show insider said: "They feel like they've struck gold."

Filming on 'American Idol' had to be called to a halt earlier this month when Mariah and Nicki clashed over a contestant which resulted in the 'Super Bass' rapper branding the 'Hero' hitmaker "boring as f**k" and threatening, "Off with your head!"

Following the disagreement, Nicki fired more insults at Mariah on her twitter account, but producers have insisted the judging panel is one of the "best" the show has ever had.

They said: "This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had.

"We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can't imagine a better group to find the next 'American Idol'."

The 'Liz & Dick' actress - whose father is reportedly going to pursue a conservatorship to give an independent party legal control over his 26-year-old troubled daughter following a failed intervention last week - has been told that a protection order against him could further damage her career.
A source told gossip website RadarOnline: "Lindsay is being told by her lawyers that it's a disastrous idea for her to try and get a restraining order against her father, Michael Lohan.
"First of all, there is no guarantee that a judge would grant a restraining order against Michael. Michael did show up at her house and try and stage an intervention, because he believes that she is in immediate danger because of her alleged drug and alcohol addiction. That is hardly a form of harassment.
"Secondly, if Lindsay were to petition for a restraining order, this story will just keep going, making it a never ending media cycle of stories about the Lohan family drama. For an actress trying to get her career back on track, this is not going to help her get future work and makes producers very leary to hire her. There would likely have to be a full hearing for Lindsay's quest to get a restraining order, and Michael would have the opportunity to take the stand and testify. He could reveal more information about his concerns about Lindsay that could further damage her."
However despite the advice, Lindsay is said to be determined to prevent her father from interfering in her life.
The source said: "She is hell bent on getting a restraining order against Michael because her mother Dina is totally pushing for it. Lindsay is currently in New York City and she could very likely decide to try and get a restraining order against Michael there."
While Lindsay's siblings have accused Michael of interfering, his intervention last Friday (19.10.12) had the full backing of Lindsay's professional team, including her lawyers and manager.

The actor - who admitted he thought he was "going to die" after a surfing stunt went wrong on the set of his new movie 'Chasing Mavericks' during which he was engulfed by two enormous waves - said the accident reminded him of when he saved a child from drowning in Scotland fourteen years ago.
He told US chat show host Kelly Ripa on 'Live With Kelly and Michael' on Tuesday (23.10.12) that the uncontrollable heaving sounds that came from his body while he recovered were similar to those that erupted from the small boy he rescued from the River Tay in 1997.
The 42-year-old star - who was briefly hospitalised after his accident - was handed a certificate of bravery by the Royal Humane Society of Scotland in 1997 after putting his own life at risk to pull a child from the river.
But the '300' star brushed off his bravery and admitted he was so shocked by the incident that he struggled to carry the young victim back to his hotel.
He said: "I tried to take him up hill but my legs were like jelly from the adrenalin and everybody's watching me and I couldn't make it up the hill."
Speaking previously about the rescue, he also played down his heroism. He said: "I didn't feel like a hero at all.
"I was initially gripped by fear and an empty feeling, thinking that the boy was dead."
Footage of Gerard's accident, which happened during filming in California last December, was shown to the public for the first time on ABC's 'Good Morning America' this week.
He said: "It looked like a tsunami coming in. I was down. I just didn't come back up, really. I just started to think, 'Wow, I'm going to die making a movie.'"

A source told The Sun newspaper: “By the time Christmas comes, Tom won’t have seen Suri for a long time. So he’s agreed with Katie that it’s only right she stays with him. Filming has been extended until after Christmas, so he will appreciate the break.”

Tom reportedly hopes to rent a huge house in the Lake District or Scotland so they can enjoy a fun family Christmas and it is likely his two children Conor and Isabella, from his marriage to Nicole Kidman will join them.

Tom last saw Suri when he took her away to Disney World in Florida at the end of July - and the pair were pictured frolicking in the waves at the Typhoon Lagoon at the family resort.

Although the ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ singer split from Conor Kennedy –the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the late Mary Kennedy – recently, his family are going ahead with plans to pay tribute to her at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights’ Ripple of Hope Awards Dinner.

The event is set to be held at New York’s Marriott Marquis on December 3.

While Taylor and Conor reportedly split some time ago, the family are said to believe the romance isn’t completely over as it was his schoolwork and her busy schedule which tore them apart.

A source told the New York Post’s Page Six: “Conor has gone back to school, and the deans at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts are not happy about him jetting around with Taylor. He was due to attend an awards ceremony with her at the end of the summer, but the school chiefs put the kibosh on it. He can’t just leave school to be with her at every point.”

The 'Les Miserables' star dressed as Sally Bowles - the character played by Liza Minnelli in the movie - for the performance at Joe's Pub in New York City, and wowed an audience including producer Harvey Weinstein and choreographer Kathleen Marshall.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Anne vamped like Audrey Hepburn and sounded like Liza Minnelli. She dressed as Sally Bowles in tiny black satin shorts, black undershirt, a bow tie and boots, with dark, cropped hair and green nail polish."

Also on stage with her was her 'Les Miserables' co-star, British actor Eddie Redmayne.

Eddie - who plays rebel Marius Pontmercy in the film - praised Anne's performance in 'Les Miserables' recently, saying she brought a new feeling to a story that has been told repeatedly.

He said: "When I saw the trailer with Anne singing with this extraordinary fragility, that song I thought I knew pretty well ... suddenly, I listened to the lyrics for the first time, afresh."

Anne recently married partner Adam Shulman in a ceremony in Los Angeles.

Greg, the brother of Ireland’s biggest earning pop star Niall Horan, the Irish aspect of One Direction, has said that he will not allow One Directioner (aka screaming fans) at his wedding.

Planning to marry in their hometown of Mullingar, Athlone, next year, the 24-year-old has said he’s “playing it cool”.

He told the Irish tabloid newspaper, the Herald, “I'm keeping very cool about the whole thing. I don't want loads of screaming One Direction fans there so I'm staying cool."

He said “I haven't a clue where it will take place or when. I haven't really thought about it yet. We only just got engaged."

However one thing he knows for sure is that he wants his brother Niall to be his best man.

"I really want Niall to be there on the day as my best man. Hopefully he'll be able to do it what with work and all," Greg said.

"We want to work with Niall's schedule -- he's my only brother so I want him to be my best man."

Greg and his fiancée Denise have been dating for "a good while" and only let the family know about the engagement a few weeks ago but he told the Herald “I knew she was the one all along, to be honest."

Niall is over the moon for the couple.

"He thinks the world of Denise so he was delighted for us. When he met her he hugged her so I knew he liked her," Greg added.

When asked about Niall settling down Greg said “I don't know if he'll meet someone tomorrow or in 20 years time -- who knows. Whatever happens, I'll be happy for him and proud of him."

The late actress' estate amassed a staggering $210 million last year mainly thanks to the auction of Elizabeth's jewellery, costumes and artwork, which brought in $184 million after every one of the 1,800 lots sold, which puts her at the summit of Forbes magazine's list of Top-Earning Dead Celebrities.

Elizabeth's most expensive item to go under the hammer was an 1889 Van Gogh painting which sold for $16 million, while her perfume, White Diamonds, made around $75 million in 2011.

According to the publication, Elizabeth's estate also made money from property sales and from her films as after starring in 1963 drama 'Cleopatra', the actress – who died in March 2011 aged 79 – negotiated a 10 per cent ownership stake in each of her movies.

Michael – who died in 2009 – dropped into second place in the list with earnings of $145 million and Elvis Presley is third with $55 million, the same amount he pulled in last year.

The 'Beat It' singer's estate earned money from Cirque Du Soleil show 'The Immortal Tour' and he also has a 50 per cent stake in Sony's ATV catalog, which features artists such as The Beatles, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.

Cartoonist Charles Schulz, who created the 'Peanuts' comic strip, is fourth in the Forbes list – which analyses dead celebrities' earnings between October 2011 and October 2012 – after amassing $37 million, followed by reggae star Bob Marley with $17 million and late Beatles singer John Lennon with $12 million.

Other star names featured include Marilyn Monroe ($10 million) and Steve McQueen ($8 million).
Overall, the 13 stars on the list earned a total $532.5 million from beyond the grave over the past 12 months.

Yikes! Seems like the romance in Camelot between pop princess Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy is over before it even really began.

Rumors are flying today that the duo have “quietly split” “a while ago.” Thankfully though, sources are saying there’s no hard feelings between the two.

Swift made headlines when she first started seeing Conor Kennedy, who is four years her junior and still in high school, over the summer. Kennedy is the son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr and Mary Richardson Kennedy, who tragically ended her life earlier this year.

Swift and Kennedy enjoyed what appeared to be a whirlwind romance over the summer. She reportedly flew him out to Nashville from Massachusetts one time just because she missed him.

"Taylor missed Conor so much, she sent a plane for him a few days later,” a source said at the end of August. “He's been with her ever since, and his family doesn't know when he will be back.

"Things have become so serious between them so fast that no one in Hyannis Port [where the Kennedy family's summer home is located] would be surprised if they eloped."

Now, though, during the same week that her anticipated album ‘Red’ - which is chock full of break up tunes - has debuted, news of her split with Kennedy has leaked.

A friend told Us Weekly: "They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine."

The source added, "It's been over a month since they've even seen each other. With her promotion for 'Red', she has no time off until the end of the year."

Taylor Swift probably won’t be feeling the sting of the breakup for too long as ‘Red’ is expected to bring in record-breaking sales this week. Her song ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together’ from the album sold 623,000 downloads in its first week, setting the digital record for a female artist.

USA Today reports that “If Red passes the million mark [in its first week of sales], Swift would be the first act in a decade to release back-to-back studio albums that sold more than a million copies in their debut week. Speak Now sold 1.047 million copies during its initial week in 2010.”

Currently, Lady Gaga holds the record with 1.11 million first-week copies sold last year.

She told Mexican magazine 15 a 20: "You have to be OK with your own fears. If you're an honest person you'll make mistakes, but it'll be OK. The most interesting things happen after making mistakes."

However, it has been claimed Robert, 26, is finding it difficult to trust Kristen, 22, again and is being careful to take things slowly.

The Daily Mail online has reported that Kennedy plans to move to California with his new girlfriend.
A source said, “I’ve heard that Bobby wants to make a fresh start - and I don’t really blame him.

“He’s in love with Cheryl, they’re very happy together and they want to get on with their lives – they see a future together.”

The source also said that Kennedy has been left in a difficult financial position paying off Richardson’s credit card debts.

They said, “He is still paying off Mary’s credit card bills.She spent a fortune re-modelling the house and he’s still paying off the debts.

Brosnan is currently in Mallorca filming A Long Way Down with Toni Collette, and he needed the make-up for a fight scene. Maybe he’s staying in character off the set a la Daniel Day-Lewis, because the photo was taken while he was out and about enjoying some down time.

Brosnan has been brushing up on his golf game during his time on the Mediterranean island. He also recently spoke to an Italian magazine about his enduring love for his wife of 12 years Keely.

Northern Irish golfing champion Rory McIlroy wants to settle down - stop living out suitcases

Golf sensation Rory McIlroy has been traveling the world since he was 16, and though he’s only 23 and admittedly having a ball, the world’s top ranked pro admits that the globetrotting can sometimes get tiring.

Speaking to the Irish Independent last weekend, McIlroy says that at some point in the next few years he wants to establish some kind of home base.  His Co. Down mansion, which he hardly ever saw, is currently on the market, but living out of a luxury suitcase isn’t McIlroy’s idea of paradise.

“I'd love in a few years' time to find a base and settle down. That would be ideal. I don't think someone can do this for a prolonged period like 10 years, say,” McIlroy said.  “I'd like to think that in a few years' time I can find a place."

And would that place include his current girlfriend, tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki?  McIlroy didn’t say for sure, but he’s clearly smitten with his Danish love.

"There's my time away with Caroline  -- that's my time off. My time away. And I need that. Of course she's famous in her own right which can create its own situations, but I wouldn't call them problems,” McIlroy said.

"A few days after the Ryder Cup I came back to Europe and Caroline came back from Beijing and I've just been hanging out with her. We got into Turkey last Monday (October 8) and we've just been relaxing. It's a great situation to be in.

“If I have time, I'll travel wherever in the world she is, just to see her. That's what I want to do. That's what makes me happy.”

He sounds like such a sweet boyfriend! And there’s more – though he’s cleaning up on the golf course, his relationship with Caroline is worth more than any big win.

"Obviously it's very satisfying to win majors and important golf tournaments, but deep down, what makes me really happy is my life outside of golf and how that is at the moment. And that, of itself, enables me to play great golf because everything is sort of in balance."

Jennifer Lopez played to a rather empty house at the O2 arena in Dublin last Thursday night, according to the Sunday World, but her crafty stage managers managed to conceal that rather embarrassing fact by constructing a large brick wall to give a smaller feel to the arena.

“Punters at her sizzling show at the 14,000 capacity venue were amazed at the realistic design of the wall towards the back of the venue. It gave the impression that the arena was full, when in fact about 8,000 people were present,” reported the World.

Ouch! J-Lo’s peeps took extra special care to project an SRO feel, given that her show was being filmed for a video. When other 02 acts bomb as far as seat sales go workers just pull some black drapes over the empty chairs, but obviously that ain’t Jenny style!

Her twins had a fun time in the Irish capital.  J-Lo and her toyboy Casper Smart took Max and Emme to the Dublin Zoo, and “sources” say a good time was had by all.  An insider told the Irish Independent that Jo "really enjoyed" her 24 hours in Ireland.

If you’ve got an extra eight-plus million bucks to spare, you too can live like a rock star! U2 bassist Adam Clayton has put his New York City pad on the market for $8.695 million and address doesn’t get much better – it’s in the gorgeous El Dorado building on Central Park West.

The place has three bedrooms, four baths and every room is renovated to perfection, including the stunning chef’s kitchen. Clayton purchased two apartments in the building where bandmate Bono also used to live and combined them into one gorgeous, sprawling place with a 38 foot entrance gallery and Central Park Views.

Clayton stands to make a tidy profit on his real estate investment.  He bought the first apartment back in 1993 for $620,000 and the second place a year later for $430,000.  Merging the two cost a few pennies for sure, but he’s profit will still range in the healthy seven figure range.

During a recent interview with Irish model and TV presenter Glenda Gilson, the 19-year-old flirted his way through the conversation. The interview happened when Horan was home in Mullingar to celebrate turning 19.

When asked by Gilson, 31, if he had hooked up with any girls the night before, Horan replied, “No, I didn’t. You didn’t show up!”

Gilson later told Heat magazine the teenager had been texting her, trying to get her to join him.

“He’d been wanting me to go out, but I didn’t, as I don’t want to be the new Caroline Flack and be hated by every woman in the world. I refused to be that one.”

Curly haired Harry Styles briefly dated TV presenter Caroline Flack, 32, who was labeled a cradle snatcher for her relationship with the teen.

It seems Horan may share Styles’ attraction to older women. A source close to the One Direction star said he fancied the leggy brunette.

Lindsay Lohan will not be prosecuted for alleged Manhattan hit-and-run

The 26-year-old star was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday following her arrest on September 19 after she was said to have left the scene of an accident in which she allegedly drove a Porsche into a passerby at New York City's The Dream Hotel.

But the Manhattan District Attorney's Office has dropped the case after examining surveillance footage and deciding there is not enough evidence against Lindsay, according to TMZ.

While the brunette beauty could pursue civil charges, sources told the gossip website the 'Liz & Dick' actress is "ecstatic" the case has been dismissed.

The news comes shortly after it was revealed Lindsay's father Michael Lohan is seeking a conservatorship for her after growing concerned she is hanging around with the wrong people including her mother Dina Lohan.

Michael does not want to be made conservator - an appointed person who has legal control over the subject - and is requesting a judge decides who to appoint as a conservator for the 'Mean Girls' star.

Michael is convinced Lindsay has resumed abusing drink and drugs and he wants her conservator to persuade her to go back to rehab.

But following his intervention last Friday Lindsay is now reportedly seeking a restraining order against her father to stop him interfering in her life

One Direction are fifth highest-earning British stars under 30

The group - consisting of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik - have amassed a fortune of £26.3 million between them in 2011, meaning they have earnt more than 'Skyfall' singer Adele and former 'X Factor' winner Leona Lewis.

However, they still trail far behind 'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe, who made £53.3 million and retains his place at number one in the list compiled by heat magazine.

Robert Pattinson rose one place from three to two by banking £38.73 million in 2011, beating 'Anna Karenina' actress Keira Knightley's earnings of £32.7 million.

Other notable inclusions in the top 20 include Cheryl Cole, who amassed £13.4 million and was placed at number nine - dropping two from her position last year - and actress Emily Blunt, who earned £9.47 million.

The rich list is compiled by a combination of the stars publicly declared business dealings and was judged by heat editor Lucie Cave, PR guru James Herring and talent manager John Noel.

Commenting on One Direction's success in the list, Lucie said: "One Direction will be thrilled to hear that they've burst into heat's Rich List as the highest new entry at number five. Like any pop stars they'll be after the number one spot, of course, but if they keep going the way they have been, that might be a reality in 2013."

Despite being placed one spot lower than One Direction, Adele rose 10 places on the list from her position last year.
