The 49-year-old actress - who gave birth to son Benjamin, her third child with husband John Travolta, just over a year ago - revealed as an older mother she was worried about losing the baby weight but is thrilled with her new physique. 

She told People: "When I got pregnant at 48, I didn't know if my body would bounce back."

"I lost 39 lbs, have more energy than I had 20 years ago - and I feel amazing. I'm going to be turning 50 next year - holy s**t! Hey, 50 is the new 30."

Along with her delight over her weight loss, Kelly revealed the couple are besotted with Benjamin and can't believe he is already one year old.

She said: "We just celebrated Ben's first birthday. I can't believe it's already been a year."

Kelly and John's eldest child, 16-year-old Jett tragically passed away three years ago when he suffered a seizure while on a family holiday in the Bahamas and the actress - who also has a daughter Ella Bleu, 11, with her spouse - has previously revealed Benjamin has helped the entire family to cope with their loss.

She said: "It's been wonderfully healing. Of course, you know, we still - it's still every day. But it's been, I think, a really nice gift for a lot of people throughout the world.

"We've gotten the most beautiful letters. And the most beautiful notes of happiness. And I think - just sort of a sigh of relief, a bit. And that's been really nice to sort of share that with people."

The 'Spider-Man' actor had a court action filed against him by a group of investors who claimed hedge fund manager Bradley Ruderman - who lost $25 million of investor money and is currently sentenced to 10 years in prison - squandered $300,000 of their money to Tobey during a series of games but the actor has agreed to pay the large sum of money to resolve his part in the case.

Howard Ehrenberg, the bankruptcy trustee who sued the group, said the poker settlements total more than $1.7 million and added that Tobey's payout to resolve the case is similar to what others who agreed to settlements have paid.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "He did not end up with any better settlement than the others."

Tobey signed a document on November 22 stating that he "strongly disputes that he violated any laws, rules or regulations in regard to participating in the poker games" but agreed to the payment to avoid fighting a costly court case..

If approved by a judge next month, the actor will pay the money to a bankruptcy trustee who is trying to recoup money that former hedge fund operator Bradley stole from investors to finance his lavish lifestyle.

Mr. Ruderman, is currently serving a 10 year federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of wire fraud, two counts of investment adviser fraud and willful failure to file taxes.

The 28-year-old model – who has 10-month-old son Flynn with the 'Three Musketeers' star – treated her actor husband to the luxurious underwear for the pair of them to enjoy.

She said: "Well he had to get into character so I bought him these silk boxer shorts and it kind of helped."

Asked by TV talk show host Chelsea Handler what she meant by get into character, she replied: "For, you know, us. I don't want to tell you what he bought me."

During the interview, the Victoria's Secret model also spoke about Flynn, revealing he is already showing an interest in music and dancing.

She said: "He loves hip-hop.

"When I had him in my stomach, I'd play music and sometimes I'd put on hip-hop and dance around. So now, I put hip-hop on and he shakes his head - pretty funny."

She also said the youngster loves being the centre of attention, even when she tries to keep him out of the spotlight.

Miranda explained: "[During an outing], I was pulling the scarf over to cover him from the paparazzi, and he was pulling it down, like, 'Hey guys! Here I am.' "

The catwalk beauty also refused painkilling drugs when she gave birth to Flynn in January and jokingly claimed the experience has given her a much higher pain threshold.

She said: "I was so determined to have a natural childbirth. Now I can much more easily handle a paper cut."

The 19-year-old star – who spent three months receiving treatment for an eating disorder and self-harming from last November - feels she has learned a lot from her experiences and is grateful that her loved ones accept her for who she is.

She wrote in her column for Seventeen magazine: “Thinking about how far I have come in a year makes me so thankful. I could not have done this without God and the amazing support from my family.

“Honestly, I am thankful for my life path, including the highs and the lows, because it has caused my true self to shine through. Going to treatment was a gift and I believe it saved my life.

“I learned how to be strong and healthy even through struggles. It also helped me open up about my issues and share them with others. Knowing that my family, friends and fans accept me for who I am is the greatest feeling ever!”

Demi admits her experiences over the last year have made her more appreciative of the things she has in her life and she has vowed not to take things for granted again.

She added: “I am so thankful that I am healthy and happy this year. I no longer take things for granted, like my family, friends, fans and career. Each day is special to me and I take each day one day at a time.

“Sometimes people get busy and forget to enjoy the moment - but I know I will not do that this holiday season. I have worked very hard to get to the place I am today and I am going to enjoy every minute of it!”

The Canadian actor plays CIA agent Matt Weston in the forthcoming action thriller and was very involved in his character's stunts, despite movie bosses having hired a double for his more physical scenes.

He said: "I was fighting this guy for five hours and we're finishing it later.

"The fights in this movie are really long and extensive and they're ugly and there's biting and head-butting. Canadian Kung fu, we call it.

"I keep seeing a stunt guy dressed like me but they don't seem to want to put him in. I'm a wreck, but then I get to say, 'That's me getting my ass kicked by a 300lb mercenary'."

Ryan's co-star Denzel Washington has also been involved in some gruelling action scenes and while he has found some of the stunts tricky, he insists they haven't been too scary.

He told Empire magazine: "We haven't done a scene with a page of dialogue in a month. There's a lot of running and jumping in this film, and I've got a bad knee and I got waterboarded.

"Having someone pour water down your nose when you're upside-down is a bit difficult, although the guys doing it to me were more scared than I was I think."

Speaking about the experience on CBS TV special 'A Very Gaga Thanksgiving' which aired last night (24.11.11), she said: "I walked in and said, 'Well Tony here we are,' and I dropped my robe and I got into position. I felt shy and thought, 'It's Tony Bennett, why am I naked?' "

The pictures that Tony sketched of Gaga, 25, will be published in Vanity Fair magazine next year.
At the beginning of the holiday show, the two singers performed 'The Lady Is A Tramp' – the track they recorded together for Tony's album 'Duets II' – together, and later Gaga admitted she has a special connection with Tony.

In an interview with Katie Couric for the programme, Gaga revealed she hates to talk about her romantic life and when she eventually gets married she insists won't reveal any details of her nuptials.

We didn't come into it thinking about how awkward it was going to be, we just went in there and worked with this new person, who was great. Robin Williams – who reprised his double role of penguins Ramon and Lovelace in the motion picture – also felt "sad" about filming the sequel without Brittany.

Robin explained: "It was sad recording without Brittany Murphy. My last vivid memory of her was the 'Happy Feet' premiere in London when she sang, it was so beautiful. She was live and her voice was so exquisite. So when she died it was like, 'Oh dude'."

The intense birthing scene in the latest installment of the 'Twilight' saga is reportedly causing viewers across the country to have seizures.

The seizures, known as photosensitive epilepsy, are believed to be the result of the flashing red, black and white lights in the pivotal 'Breaking Dawn' scene, according to ABC News.

Brandon Gephart went to see the film last Friday when he began “convulsing, snorting, [and] trying to breathe.” He said he doesn’t remember anything, but awoke on the theater floor and was taken out by paramedics.

A man in Salt Lake City, Utah also reportedly suffered a seizure while watching the vampire flick.

“It’s like a light switch going off, because it hits your brain all at once,” said Dr. Michael G. Chez, medical director of pediatric neurology and epilepsy for Sutter Sacramento. He added that “the trouble with theaters, it’s dark, the lights flashing in there is more like a strobe light.”

Kristen – who is dating Robert Pattinson – added: "I hadn’t read the book when I accepted the part. It was crazy.”

In the movie, Kristen plays Snow White and is trying to escape the clutches of the evil Queen Ravenna, portrayed by Charlize Theron, who wants to eat her heart so she will become immortal.

Chris, 28, is playing Eric, the Huntsman in the movie – which is due for release in June 2012.

Rihanna is having a very special Thanksgiving -- in Dublin.

She is playing the O2 venue tomorow night but is hosting a huge Thanksgiving feast for all her road crew.

"She has reserved O'Donoghue's pub on Baggot Street for 100 guests. She's handpicked a special menu laid on by top French restaurant Hugo's, which is across the street from the traditional Irish pub." a source told the Daily Star.

"Rihanna and her crew have been on the road for a long time and they're all missing out on sharing the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with their families."

The menu will include clam chowder soup and a turkey roast with the traditional sides.

The source added: "The menu includes clam chowder soup and a turkey dinner with mash, vegetables and cranberry sauce. There will be side dishes of macaroni and cheese, plus sweet potato mash with marshmallow sauce. For pudding there's apple cobbler with biscuit crumble."

After all they have been dating long enough that it would hardly be a surprise.

The public has become so accustomed to them as a couple that anything other than a wedding at this point would be seen as very strange.

Sure Rob sowed his wild oats and had fun as a carefree bachelor.

But Kristen has really won his heart and has done so in that quiet understated way of hers.

It is obvious that they are not acting when they embrace and kiss during their wedding scene.

Michael Buble taks advantage of Ireland’s depressed property market - talking about buying

Canadian crooner Michael Buble is such a frequent visitor to Ireland that he should own a home there at this point . . . and sure enough, that’s exactly what he’s thinking of doing, purchasing real estate in the depressed Irish market.

"Yeah, course I would, absolutely. I would love to have a home that I could just be in for more than a few days because every year I go to about 45 countries and I wake up in a lot of hotel rooms and I don't know where I am.  So yeah, it would be nice to have a house here. A castle. A gigantic castle,” he told the press on Friday after switching on the Christmas lights on Grafton Street in Dublin, the city’s main shopping road, with thousands of thrilled fans looking on.

Buble was also in town to promote his new holiday CD, and given that his Irish fan base is so intense --  he’s one of the best-selling artists ever there – it’s a sure bet that it’ll soon soar to the top of the charts. 

“(Ireland) is a special place, of course, because I've been accepted more here than I have been probably anywhere else in the world. Garth Brooks went through this, right? Where you guys really dug him? You know what, I think it's kind of cool being a Canadian kid and realizing you've found somewhere so far away that shares so many of the same values,” he said.

Buble also spoke about his sell-out concert at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin last year, which he calls a career high point.

"At that time, that was the biggest gig I had ever played, with over 50,000 people there. And it wasn't just 54,000 people, it was 54,000 Irish people and there is a difference,” he said  "They were all singing along and were so loud at one point that I couldn't hear myself.”

The gorgeous South African Oscar winner Charlize Theron hasn’t been heard from much these past few years, but that’s about to change as she has a good few high-profile roles in the offing, the first one in Young Adult which debuts next month.

Why has she been away for so long?  Part of the reason was at attempt to salvage her nearly 10-year relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townsend, which went kaput last year.  

Townsend, a native Dubliner, lived with Theron in LA and was a constant presence by her side.

They often talked about marriage to the press – but said they wouldn’t tie the knot until the right was also extended to gays. Charlize even wore a commitment ring that Townsend had given to her that was supposed to symbolize their lifetime devotion to each other.

But, alas, like so many things in life, all was not what it seemed.  Theron tells the December issue of Vogue that she knew the relationship was crumbling and tried to save it, so she put her hot career on the back burner.

“It was sinking, and I had to give it a fight,” she told the magazine. “I really wanted to try and make it work. That was the priority. I wouldn’t do it any different way.”

Theron says that she’s had a boyfriend ever since she was a teen, so being on her own has been a strange but liberating experience.

“I’ve never been single,” she says. “This is the first time in my life. From the time I was 19 I’ve been in relationships, literally gone from one to the other within a month.

“It’s been good for me,” she continues. “I’m a creature who’s really found her comfort zone in relationships.”

The role in Young Adult came at just the right time, she says.

“I’d gotten out of a relationship, and I was in this really floaty place. My feet weren’t touching the ground. I just kind of turned to (director Jason Reitman) and was like, ‘I feel like me again.’”

No word on what Townsend has been doing since the split.  At the time he was said to be extremely upset at the parting of ways, not surprisingly.

“Stuart is gutted but Charlize said that she realized during (a holiday) that the relationship was over. They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended,” a friend of hers told the Daily Mail last year.

The British heartthrob plays vampire Edward Cullen in the movie franchise and although he is adored by fans all over the world who believe the bloodsucker is the perfect guy, Robert doesn’t understand the attraction to vampires and has revealed he wanted to portray Edward's failings but wasn't allowed to.

He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: "The annoying thing about him is the fan's perception of him as the perfect guy. I wanted to play his flaws but then you have this subliminal idea coming from everywhere saying, 'No he's got to be perfect.'

"I don't think I've ever seen a vampire movie where I think the vampires are attractive. They end up looking worse than they do in their real life with the pale make-up and the fangs.

"I have never understood fascination with vampires. People are obsessed and I don't know why."

Robert – who is dating his 'Twilight Saga' co-star Kristen Stewart – also revealed obsessive fans are making his life difficult and he is currently struggling to find somewhere to live where he can be private.

about things like you are a fugitive, or a CIA undercover operative or something, you are genuinely worried about spies.

The 21-year-old actress' character Bella Swan becomes a mother in the latest instalment of the vampire franchise, so she had a lot of scenes with a young child, leading her to make an extra - although not entirely successful - effort not to use curse words.

She told Empireonline.com: "I have, like, Tourette’s syndrome. I get so mad sometimes if I can’t get something. I have a child in Breaking Dawn and I constantly swear, so there is a swear jar on set that just I ended up paying into."

Now that filming has finished on the 'Twilight' series, Kristen has moved onto other films, appearing in 'On the Road' and 'Snow White and the Huntsman', which has seen her move a further out of her comfort zone to embrace more diverse characters.

Writing on her twitter page, the former WWE Diva said: "You know it's love when your boyfriend has elbow surgery two days ago and takes you to a Ravens game ... especially when he's a Bengals fan."

George's condition hopefully isn't too painful, as the actor recently revealed he considered killing himself six years ago when he injured his spine while filming spy thriller 'Syriana' in 2005.

Robert – who is dating his 'Twilight Saga' co-star Kristen Stewart - recently revealed he has no plans to be a young dad because he has no experience with children.

He said: "A father, yes. A young father, no. I have no experience with children. In my circle of friends, there are none. And I don't even have a little brother. You should have seen me when we shot the scenes for 'Breaking Dawn'. There were two babies, not older than two or three weeks and I feared that I might break them."

A source close to Demi said: "She is furious, raging in fact – you only have to look at every photo you see of her to see the toll Ashton's cheating has taken on her.

Gerard Butler 'cried for five hours' - reunited with his estranged father after 14 years

Gerard Butler was  only two years old when his father Edward left the family. Gerard was raised by his mother, Margaret Butler, and didn't even know his father was still alive until he turned up one day unannounced.

Gerard – whose family emigrated from Scotland to Montreal, Canada, when he was six before moving back to his home nation 18 months later - said: "My parents split up when I was young, so my mother was left with the task of being both my mum and my dad.

"My mother was everything to me. I used to have these horrible nightmares about something happening to her.

Following their reunion, the 'Machine Gun Preacher' star went on "great adventures" to his dad's house in Toronto, Canada, and enjoyed some "good times" with Edward before he passed away.

The 42-year-old actor added: "I stayed in touch with him and it changed my life. I'd go to Toronto for summers, which was a great adventure for a boy from Scotland who hadn't done much travelling. He took me to Jamaica once on holiday.

"He's long dead now but we had some good times."
