‘Twilight’s’ Robert Pattinson on Heat’s rich list for the under 30s

Robert Pattinson has been ranked number five in Heat magazine's list of the British richest stars under 30. The Twilight" actor came in just behind "Harry Potter's" Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint earning over $27 million. Keira Knightly, who can currently be seen starring alongside Colin Farrell in "London Boulevard", came in second.

The highest earning British musician under 30 is "Bleeding Love" singer, Leona Lewis. She has made her fortune since winning "The X Factor" in 2006. She comes in at sixth place.

Sam Delaney, editor of Heat magazine, said that this list proves not all rich folks are "corrupt, cigar-chomping fat cats...In these tight financial times, there's a great deal of animosity felt towards society's richest. But who could possibly resent the millions earned by a charming young rascal like Daniel Radcliffe?"
"The heat rich list is proof that not all mega-rich people are corrupt, cigar-chomping fat cats. This list is full of young people who have largely made their cash out of putting smiles on other people's faces."

Pink's baby to be named after her favorite Irish whiskey

Pink and her husband Carey Hart have already come up with a name for their first child.

Three months gone, the singer told Access Hollywood: “We’re all over the place. I’m all about meaning, and Carey feels like he had a girl’s hair cut and a girl’s name, and he doesn’t want kids to have a weird name.

“I have to get him on the boat for originality, so I’m working on him. My dad’s name is James, and my brother’s name is Jason. [Carey and I] are both Irish, Carey’s middle name is Jason, [and] Jameson – we like whiskey. That’s a no brainer.”

Despite the news of baby "Jameson" spreading like wild-fire through Hollywood. We are still waiting for Pink to admit she is spoofing.

Violante Placido bares all about getting naked with George Clooney

Italian bombshell Violante Placido told the press this week she wasn't worried about her naked scene with George Clooney.

The Italian actress plays a prostitute in "The American", the new film which stars George as an assassin.

Asked whether Clooney helped put her at ease, Placido said: "Absolutely. There was a good atmosphere of trust. We could focus a lot. There was concentration."

The 34-year-old actress added: "It wasn't my first time (stripping in front of the camera). I remember my first time was tougher, but I think that once you get into this, you decide to become an actor and you explore everything of human aspects through different roles all the time."

"When we tell the story, there is the body that talks sometimes. An actor is ready to be naked in all senses with emotions and with its body. I don't see much difference."

She added: "When you're trying to tell a character and in this case, the character is a prostitute, then the body would come in. It would be very unnatural if you tried to hide that part, and not tell the story through the body as well."

The NYPD are asking Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denis Richards to travel to Manhattan this week for  questioning regarding the actor's recent rampage at the Plaza Hotel.

The saga reignited last week when Christina Walsh filed a criminal harassment complaint against the “Two and a Half Men” star before appearing in a series of television interviews. Ms Walsh has claimed that Sheen terrorized her that night and that she was offered $3,500 to accompany him to dinner, a payment she never received.

Sheen was quick to respond with a counter suit and accused Ms Walsh of trying to extort $1million from him as hush money. The suit, obtained by TMZ, reads: "At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh," (described as "an opportunistic pornographic film star and publicity-hungry scam artist") who "fabricated a sensational tale about being assaulted, battered and held against her will".

The following day, the Irish American porn star decided to refrain from filing the lawsuit, saying the talking to the press and the police she "experienced the natural emotions of many domestic violence victims, that of fear, anxiety and a certain level of empowerment".

The NYPD will now investigate her criminal complaint, but they are puzzled by why Ms Walsh didn't file a police report at the time of the offence.

"She said he was shouting at her, knocking things off in the hotel room, acting irrational. She voluntarily locked herself in the bathroom and was not held against her will. She was not a victim of assault. She was not imprisoned in the hotel room," an NYPD spokesman said.

Tom Brady seeing a hair-transplant guy

After the months of Justin Bieber slagging, Gisele Bundchen rumors and national outcry over Patriot's quarterback long hair-cut it seems that Tom Brady is seeing a hair-transplant guy.

The National Enquirer has reported that the New England Patriots QB has been getting hair-transplants at the request of his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen. It seems that the worlds most highly paid supermodel was worried that Brady might be losing his looks and sent him off to a specialist to get plugs.

"Gisele wants to maintain that perfect-couple image — the handsome quarterback with a head full of hair and the stunning model with her own long flowing locks,” the Enquirer reported.



Brady's car was spotted parked outside the Leonard Hair Transplant Association in Cranston, R.I., on November 9.

According the Enquirer "He spent over an hour consulting with Dr. Leonard before he slipped out the back door and drove off” Dr. Robert Leonard is the same hair specialist who who restored former Boston Bruin Lyndon Byers’mop.

The source said "Tom wants help with his thinning hair and bald spot.”

This isn't the first time Tom's been spotted looking into hair restoration. In 2008, the New York Post reported that Brady was seen checking out another hair specialists clinic before heading to Arizona for Super Bowl XLII .

Back in 2008, Dr Leonard told the Boston Herald that Tom was thinning around the crown and because his father is bald he could inherit the same gene. He said "The apple doesn’t fall far from the proverbial baldness tree.”

After winning the 2009 MTV Movie Awards “Best Kiss” gang the Edward Cullen and Bella Swan kiss has won a place on the Portrait Magazine’s “Top 10 Movie Kisses”. In fact 77 percent of the votes went for the “Twilight” kiss.

Portrait Magazine said “I have a feeling this one will continue to be on the top lists of romantic movie moments for a very long time. After all, what better love is there then the love from an eternal (stud) vampire? Millions of people couldn’t wait to see how Bella and Edward's first kiss from the series of books would turn out on the big screen and it’s oblivious to see, most of you were very happy with it.”

The famous kiss has already earned itself on other kiss lists including The Los Angeles Times' "Top 50 Classic Movie Kisses." Other scenes that mad the cut include the car crash scene which made Fandango's "Top 10 Romantic Movie Moments" and Moviefone's "Top 25 Movie Moments of the Decade." Also “Twilight's” prom scene was chosen as one of the "17 Best Prom Scenes of All Time."

Lindsay Lohan 'has plenty of work offers'

Despite a turbulent year for the acting star, producers linked to Lindsay Lohan insist that she has received several scripts in recent months.

Lohan, who is currently serving a three-month court ordered stint at the Betty Ford clinic in California was dropped recently from her role of Linda Loveface in "Inferno".

However Ethan Terra, a co-owner of a production company with Lohan's mother told Fox News that Lohan will definitely return to acting once she leaves the clinic.

 Terra said: "Lindsay has absolutely no qualms about getting work. She literally has a mountain pile of scripts to choose from. When she is ready, we'd like to see her take on a positive role. She is doing so amazingly well with her recovery."

According to RadarOnline.com, Lilo was allowed out of rehab over the holidays to spend time with her family.

She reportedly hit the gym on Thanksgiving day before enjoying a traditional turkey dinner with her dad, who she recently reconciled with.

Dublin star, Mary Byrne has made it through to the semi final of next weeks “X Factor”.

For the first time, Mary found herself in the bottom two last night as she was faced with a sing-off with controversial Wagner.

However there was little doubt in any one's mind that the judges would save Mary and send Wagner packing.

The Dubliner performed Shirley Bassey’s ‘This Is My Life’ in the sing off and was saved by all of the judging panel.

Speaking on The Xtra Factor after the final results were revealed, the 51 year old said: “I wasn’t even thinking about whether I was up against Wagner. I am fond of Wagner – I like him, he’s a nice guy.

“We were both hoping that we’d be saved, but as you know they can only save one person and I’m grateful they saved me, but I love Wagner.”

Despite having a stronger vocal talent than Vagner, the Tesco check out worker said she was still very nervous during the sing-off.

“My throat went completely dry,” she confessed. “Literally completely dry. And I got so shaky I went into the same verse twice but I just covered it up and I just tried to feel the song at the end. I was nervous all day – Shaking all day.”

Susan Boyle dreams of becoming bigger than the Beatles

Susan Boyle has said she dreams of becoming bigger than The Beatles some day.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the chart topper said: “The Beatles are still around now, their records live on. I hope to be in the same calibre one day."

Susan is adamant she isn't taking her fame for granted: “I'm always so touched by my fans. They give me amazing support on both sides of the Atlantic.

"They even still take pictures of me where I live back home on the street. But if they didn't do that I'd probably worry. I'd think 'what have I done wrong?'”

Susan admits she has become such a celebrity that she cannot take the bus anymore in her home town of Blackburn, West Lothian in Scotland.

"When I go on buses there are always problems with people going, 'Oh, there's that lass, she used to be on the telly'.

"It's just too much so I'm getting a people carrier and my family and friends can drive me around," she added.

Daniel O'Donnell to cut back on schedule -- denies he is retiring

Irish country star Daniel O'Donnell has revealed he is cutting back his touring schedule but has denied he is retiring.

O'Donnell will shortly celebrate his 50th birthday but says he will continue touring, just not as much.

He is currently on a three week stand in Branson, Missouri.

He made his plans known via his website.

"In December 2011, I will celebrate my 50th birthday! It will have been 30 years this coming January since I started my career.

"I have now decided that at the end of 2011 I will take a break from extensive touring."

He said that he would do multiple shows at one venue rather than your individual locations.

"I am making this announcement now, so that those of you who wish to see us in this coming year will be aware that we may not be visiting your area for quite some time," he revealed.

He said that no details had yet been decided for the U.S. UK and Ireland for 2012.

He also thanked fans for their support.

Jennifer Grey was surprised to win 'Dancing with the Stars'

"Dirty Dancing" actress, Jennifer Grey has revealed how shocked she is that she won this season's "Dancing with the Stars".

Speaking to the TVGuide.com she said "It means everything to me because I didn't think I could do it. It's a very satisfying experience.

"I had been asked for nine years [to take part in a TV dance show] and I said no out of fear. I would've been robbed of this amazing experience had I not said yes and had the courage."

It certainly took Grey a lot of courage to go through with the final dance. The evening before the final dance Gery was hospitalized with a ruptured disc.

She told "Good Morning America" "I did not think I was going to be able to dance".

Grey's neck surgeon, Dr. Robert Bray said "She called me in the morning on the day of the finals and was in tears. She was in terrible pain." Grey received steroid injections which helped him to deal with the pain.

After a final examination she was allowed to dance as Bray believed that she would not cause herself any further damage. He said "If it's not going to harm you, people are better off moving around than sitting around."

Now that Grey has achieved her goal of winning the competition and the Mirrorball Trophy she has been advised to take it easy.

Loopy Lady Gaga has spent over $11,000 on custom-made lingerie.

Gaga has already admitted that she is in love with silk and will only wear items made from that fabric.

A source told Now magazine "She's so in love with the way it feels on her body, she's demanded every piece of lingerie be made from 100 per cent pure silk...Polyester, cotton and Lycra are all banned. The finest silk, made to order, is all she'll wear now."

The performer believes that silk will somehow inspire her creatively.

The source said "She really believes this will help her creativity because if she feels comfortable and her skin is able to breathe properly, she'll be able to concentrate on her music...She's taking this latest fetish seriously and driving her assistant crazy. Some garments go for £70 ($110) a pair and because she's kitted out the entire underwear section of her wardrobe, it's cost her close to £7,000 ($11,000)."

New to fatherhood, Neil Patrick Harris is still adjusting to life with his newborn twins.

Harris and his partner David Burtka, welcomed son Gideon Scott and daughter Harper Grace into the world six weeks ago.

The 37-year-old actor told CBS “The Talk”, “Ive never been happier”. Gideon "sleeps all the time," but little Harper is "fussier," he said,

Mary Byrne 'X Factor' hopeful loses her voice

Ireland's “X Factor” star, Mary Byrne is suffering from a throat infection and has lost her voice. The Dublin woman saw a doctor yesterday and is hopeful she will recover in time for the next installment of the song contest, this Saturday night.

A source said yesterday: “She could not even finish rehearsing her song yesterday. She is off to the doctor to try and get it all sorted.”

Mary was also struck down with laryngitis at the beginning of last month, but made a quick recovery in time for the show.

Last week judges praised the Tesco checkout worker, saying she had got her Mojo back.

Let's face it, the three best entertainment stories of the year for us internet columnists are are Rob Pattinson, Susan Boyle and Lady Gaga.

Mentioning one or other of the trio guarantees you internet traffic which is why this Thanksgiving we should say a special thanks to them fellow gossip columnists.

It is easy to see why. The Rob Pattinson story line is full of twists and turns from his relationship with Kristen Stewart to his latest and controversial choice of movies.

It is hard to imagine there is a more committed group of fans than those who follow Susan Boyle. They feel fiercely protective o fher and cover everything she does. Because she got such bad press after her initial success, they feel duty bound to stand by her at every turn.

Lady Ga Ga is a different species altogether.Enormously talented, she has become a bigger star than Madonna and is actually the No. 1 search term on google worldwide.

All of which of course endears her to gossip columnist and internet traffickers everywhere.

So thank the fab three for making our jobs that much easier this Thanksgiving!

Mandy Moore reveals she wants to have kids

Actress Mandy Moore has revealed her desire to have kids in the near future.

She is married to actor Ryan Adams.

“I’m a married lady, and one day, I will definitely have a family,” she told E! News.

“When you do a film like this, I think that thought crosses your mind—that one day you’ll be able to show your kids that you were in an animated Disney film!”

Moore revealed that marriage has matured her.

“It still feels not entirely real,” she said. “Things are wonderful, and there’s such a peaceful settledness about it.

“But sometimes I can’t wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, ‘Wow – I did that!’

“I’m enjoying life, but I was enjoying it before [marriage] too.

“It’s not like, ‘Oh, my life is complete now.’ I just have this extra incredible bonus of my best friend in the whole world, getting to spend every day with him.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's commentary on "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" DVD aren't just hilarious but they also seem to show the Hollywood hunk being protective of his on and off set girlfriend.

Summit Entertainment has released a short clip of the "tent scene" with Pattison and Stewart's comments. The DVD box-set will not be released until December 4.

The playful commentary on the DVD shows a playful side to the pair and also shows that Pattinson's feels the same about Taylor Lautner's character Jacob. The video below which illustrates this point.

During the clip Pattinson says says "God, he’s so gross. So brazen!...I really don’t like Jacob." Stewart seems touched and says "Aww."

"Look at him and his tattoo and stuff. Ugh," says Pattinson, who has openly expressed jealously of Lautner's chisled torso. Stewart defends Jacob's character saying "He’s just young and overzealous."

Pattinson responds with "He’s not!...He does it on purpose. He’s looking at me when he’s saying this stuff." Stewart agrees "Yeah, that is weird."

He jokes "What is wrong with him? He’s like, 'I don’t even care about her, I just want to…'"

At the beginning of the clip the pair are poking fun at each other. Stewart says "Slurp your coffee a little bit more...That’s what the fans want.”

Pattinson responds "It’s not coffee...It’s an Arnold Palmer,” he says, trying to say the name in an America accent.

“You’re drinking an Arnold Palmer?” Stewart asks, sounding amused. “Having a little lemonade and iced tea?”

Sir Paul McCartney falls on stage

Sir Paul McCartney, former Beatles member, took a nasty fall during a curtain call while performing in Brazil this week.

McCartney who was performing to 67,000 fans fell, face first, as she left the stage in Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo.

The Daily Mail newspaper is reporting that the 67-year-old rocker tripped over a bunch of cables and fell to the floor before jumping up again.
An audience member caught the fall on camera.

Fans were initially in shock when they saw the performer fall but cheered loudly when he got up again.

He told the crowd: "I love South American audiences.

"I always think I have Latin blood because I connect so strongly with their love of music and their love of rhythm and their love of melody, so I always feel like I have a very big bond with South American people and Latin people in general."

Sinead O'Connor: Nothing compares to motherhood

Nothing compares to becoming a mother, according to award winning Irish singer/songwriter Sinead O'Connor.

The artist was speaking at the launch of “National Thank You Day”, a fundraising campaign in aid of the Irish Hospice Home Care Programme.

"No question, becoming a mum was the best thing that ever happened to me and the most rewarding aspect of my life," said the mother-of-four.

Sinead was accompanied by her youngest child, four-year-old Yeshua at the event.

National Thank You Day takes place Thurday in Ireland and is asking people to thank their family and friends with cards featuring messages by popular figures such as Gabriel Byrne and Seamus Heaney.

"I hope when I die I get to go to a hospice," Sinead said at the event.

"It's nice to create a place with a peaceful atmosphere, where maybe you can create some way of people enjoying the journey.

"We all have a very negative attitude towards death which I don't think is really accurate," she added.

There are rumors circulating that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s sex scenes in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” are so steamy that the movie could get a “R Rating”.

This would mean that the millions of teenage Twihards might not even get to see the movie in theatres…after years of waiting to see these final chapters.

A source told E! Online “We will be aiming for a PG-13 rating,” which seems to say to me that they’re not entirely sure they’ll get it!

Other publications, such as OK! Magazine, are saying the Pattinson and Stewart are pushing for more “sexually charged nudity” in the honeymoon scenes.

According to their source the actors are “demanding that their big sex scenes will really push the envelope."

Earlier on this year there were other queries about the movie retain it’s PG-13 rating due to the graphic nature of Bella Swan’s child birth scene.

Irish American director, Bill Condon, is going to have his work cut out for him trying to keep this movie in the desire age rating.

Charlie Sheen's hotel porn star, Chistina Walsh, denies pimping her site after Plaza incident

The Irish American porn star, Christina Walsh (stage name Capri Anderson) has denied added a statement about Charlie Sheen to her website following the Plaza Hotel, New York, incident.

Walsh's webmaster had admitted that she knew nothing about the statement and claimed full responsibility.

Just after Charlie Sheen's meltdown in the suite, at the Plaza Hotel, a statement on the website appeared. It read "I just want everyone to know what [sic] I'm fine." The message appears to be posted to promoted a new lower monthly membership price.

Yale Galanter and Marty Singer, Sheen's lawyers, have since claimed that the message strengthens their case, that Walsh should be charged with extortion. They claim that the statement show that she was fine after the statement even though she is attempting to sue Sheen having been traumatized.

TMZ spoke to the owner of the website, Kevin Noonan. He said that a member of the website team decided to "round up some extra sales and cash in."

Noonan, who owns 15 sites, said that Walsh has no access to the site. He said "Can you imagine what would happen if we gave [the models] access to their own websites day to day?"

Micha Barton's class Cadillac breaks down...again!

After investing thousands of dollars in a classic convertible, Micha Barton's car, broke down in LA, for the umpteenth time last Monday.

The 24-year-old actress was spotted wearing an orange top and tweed jacket yesterday when she pulled into a car garage in Beverly Hills, after experiencing more car trouble, this time in the middle of Robertson Blvd.

The actress didn't look too happy to pop the hood of her sky blue Cadillac for inspection by the mechanic.

Barton bought the car for a reported $15,000 earlier this year, but she soon ran into trouble with an empty petrol tank just minutes after driving out of the dealership.

In May she hit another vehicle while she attempted to park, and during the summer, it broke down three times.

After co-staring with Keira Knightley in his latest flick, Irish star Colin Farrell has described the 25-year-old as “gorgeous” and “a lovely woman”.

In a recent interview with “Live from Studio Five”, the actor said: "She is gorgeous. She's really gorgeous and lovely - a lovely woman and incredibly smart and bright and talented and creative and generous.

"She was lovely, I mean she really was, so it was easy working with her."

In the pair's new film “London Boulevard”, Farrell plays an ex-convict who falls for Knightley's character, a reclusive actress.

Farrell said that he was a big fan of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actress and would like to appear on stage with her again.

He said: "I was a really big fan of her work beforehand and even more of a fan of her work afterwards. I wish I got to work more with her, I really did.

"I felt like it was kind of just a rehearsal for maybe some other thing that maybe I'd be lucky enough to get the chance to do with her at some stage," the Dublin star added.

Union Square subway offers Harry Potter fans a stop for Hogwarts Express

The 14 Street, Union Square subway stop in Manhattan is now offering an extra subway stop, especially for Harry Potter enthusiasts!

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) may have cut service throughout New York City in recent months but it seems they are now offering passengers a service to Hogwarts.

A maroon circle emblazoned with the number 9 ¾ has appeared on the south-side entrance to the Union Square subway station.

The sticker has taken the place of the “W” line which was suspended last June. The new sign is an exact copy of the MTA signage.

In the popular JK Rowling series students of the wizard school Hogwarts are advised to board their  train at platform 9 ¾  which doesn't exist in the muggles, non-magical world.

"We are not part of any sort of Potter campaign, but I've seen things like that before," MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz told the Daily News.

Bishop who said Prince William & Kate Middleton's marriage would fall apart within seven years is suspended

The bishop who said that Prince William and Kate Middleton were like “shallow celebrities” and suggested that their marriage would end after seven years has been suspended from duty.

The Rt Rev Pete Broadbent, Bishop of Willesden, made the comments on his Facebook page in the days following the announcement of the Royal engagement.

But the Church of  England bishop has backtracked on his comments and issued an apology.

However in the wake of his remarks, the Bishop of London, Bishop John Carew Chartres has asked Bishop Broadbent to step down and “withdraw from public ministry”.

Bishop Cartes said: “I was appalled by the Bishop of Willesden’s comments about the forthcoming royal marriage.

“In common with most of the country I share the joy which the news of the engagement has brought.

“I have now had an opportunity to discuss with Bishop Peter how his comments came to be made and I have noted his unreserved apology.

“Nevertheless, I have asked him to withdraw from public ministry until further notice. I have also been in touch with St James’s Palace to express my own dismay on behalf of the Church.

“Arrangements will need to be made in Bishop Peter’s absence and further details will be given in due course.”

Biship Broadbent has said that he has conveyed his “sincere regrets” to the both the Prince of Wales, his son Prince William and his future wife, Ms Middleton.

He added: "I recognise that the tone of my language and the content of what I said were deeply offensive, and I apologise unreservedly for the hurt caused.

"It was unwise of me to engage in a debate with others on a semi-public Internet forum and to express myself in such language.

"I accept that this was a major error of judgment on my part.

"'I wish Prince William and Kate Middleton a happy and lifelong marriage, and will hold them in my prayers.," he concluded.

Jennifer Grey has won this season's "Dancing with the Stars" beating Bristol Palin in the finale.

Although Grey had been the front runner, scoring consistently high marks from the judges on Monday night the 50-year-old "Dirty Dancing" actress ruptured a disc in her back. However she still managed to win the coveted disco ball trophy.

On winning the competition she said "The absolute destination for me was the journey. The journey was the gift."

She said that her mind just went black before the winner was announced "I was in a surrender moment of whatever happens will be great," said Grey.

Former child star, Kyle Massey, was runner up with Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol Palin, coming in third.

"Dancing with the Stars" recorded a record number of votes for the finale which cause some problems with overloaded telephone voting systems. A statement from the producers said "Some viewers reported experiencing difficulties registering their votes for the 'Dancing with the Stars' finale, which affected each finalist equally." However the problems were fixed quickly.

Bristol Palin's appearance on the show caused a divide in the audience. According to the BBC website on man blasted his TV with a shotgun while watching the show last week.

Speaking about competing she said "This has been a life-changing experience," and added that winning would have been like "a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me".

Jimmy Fallon has beaten one of the world's greatest race car drivers in a tricycle race.

In his latest spoof on his popular “Late Night” talk show, Fallon invited Jimmie "Superman" Johnson to a duel before unveiling two adult tricycles complete with colorful streamers.

Sarah Palin lobbies ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' to get Christin O'Donnell on the show

Sarah Palin, has apparently, been occupying her self with a different kind of campaigning. She's been lobbying the producers of the hit ABC show "Dancing with the Stars" to get Tea Party-backed U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell on the Thursday night show as a contestant.

The entertainment website PopEater, said the former Alaska governor, turned reality TV show star, took on the role of casting director while she was cheering on her daughter, Bristol, at the show's season finale.

A source told the website "Sarah is a genius at marketing herself and her message...She doesn't care about all the old rules about how political people are meant to behave and act. Sarah believes the best way is to go directly to the people -- use Twitter, Facebook, 'Dancing With the Stars' and 'Entertainment Tonight' to get potential voters excited and leave 'Meet The Press' and those boring Sunday morning shows to the old-school politicians."

Reportedly an executive with ABC has said that having Christine O'Donnell on the show could be a great idea. They said "O'Donnell would fit right in...She certainly would be so controversial that the amount of press attention and buzz the show would get would be huge. Plus, you know they would make her dance in a witch's hat with a broomstick."

O'Donnell is clearly a fan of the show. Last Thursday she Twitted "I just voted for Bristol on DWTS! She's enduring a lot & should be proud. It's shameful the way she is being attacked. vote-800-868-3407."

Christina Walsh has said she was concerned about whether or not she would get to see her Irish father again while she was allegedly held up in Charlie Sheen's Plaza Hotel suite.

The adult film star, also known as Capri Anderson, made the comments during her "Nightline" interview recently. The Irish American has spoken out for the first time about the October 25th night, when police officers found her locked in the bathroom of Charlie Sheen's hotel suite.

Charlie Sheen last night announced that he is suing Christina Walsh for extortion.

Yesterday the news emerged that Ms Walsh had filed court papers in Los Angeles against the “Two and a Half Men” star for the alleged incident.

Now Sheen is claiming that the Irish American asked for $1 million not to go to the media with her story. He also claims that she stole a watch worth $165,000 from Sheen's Plaza Hotel room.

Ms Walsh told ABC News that she was hired by the actor for $3,500 to escort him to dinner that evening. However the night quickly turned to chaos when the pair retired to Sheen's suite in the Plaza Hotel in New York.

The former Bronx resident told "Good Morning America" she never expected events to unfold they way they did.

"I never expected the fight would go the way it did," she said today in an interview.

"He definitely was growing more intense as the night grew and went on. It's hard to say being that it was my first time hanging out with him if it was normal of his everyday behavior or not," Anderson said. "He seemed like a very egotistical person."

In a separate interview with “Nightline”, the adult film star said that Sheen had offered her $20,000 for her silence.

"Just to not talk to anybody about it and go about my business," she said.

"He apologized for his behavior and for the entire evening, I guess," she said. "The apology was very simple."

Ms Walsh claims she was offered $3,500 to escort Charlie Sheen to dinner that evening. During the dinner she said she spent most of her time chatting with Sheen's ex-wife, Denise Richards. After the meal both her and Sheen went for drinks, she claims she was then asked by a friend of Sheen's to escort him to his Plaza Hotel room.

"At this point he was fairly intoxicated," she said.

Back in the actors hotel room Ms Walsh claims Sheen snorted a white powdery substance.

"I was sitting on the edge of a coffee table and he was serving us both drinks and he was snorting something,"

"When I became really uncomfortable is when he put his hands around my neck," she said.

"He started throwing things. He threw a lamp. That was the first thing he picked up," Walsh said, her voice cracking. "And he threw it across the room at me."

"When he started throwing things at me I became shocked, scared," she said.

Yale Galanter, the lawyer representing Sheen, responded to the allegations made by Ms Walsh on Sunday night in a statement.

"Ms. Capri never made any allegation of wrongful conduct on the part of Mr. Sheen the night of the incident. She has posted on her website that she was 'fine' after the incident but if you wanted to see more of her enter the web site for money," Galanter said. "We will defend this lawsuit vigorously and will never pay her a dime. These allegations against Mr. Sheen are completely false, and are a blatant attempt to cash in on his celebrity."

Walsh told "Nightline" that she feared for her life.

"He was, from the beginning of the night, very loud and he had no hesitations when it came to using derogatory language or cuss words," she said to Ashleigh Banfield during the "Nightline" interview, adding that "towards the latter half of the night, it got really bad. He started yelling racial slurs."

"He threw the lamp against the wall in my direction … And once the lamp flew, it was like there was just stuff coming from every angle. He was just -- anything he could pick up, he was trashing the place," she said.

Photos obtained by TMZ showed the path of destruction left in Sheen's hotel suite, with items strewn throughout the room.

After police officers were called to the scene, they found Ms Walsh locked in the bathroom of Sheen's suite. Sheen was taken to a nearby hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

"He was calling me a whore a lot. And he was yelling things like, you F-ing bitch. If you don't come out here, I'm going to kill you. If I get in there, you're going to be sorry. If I get in there, you ... whore, you whore, whore. Like he just keep screaming and slamming on the door," she said.

Ms Walsh claims she was never paid the $3,500 escort fee she was promised for the night.

Clip of 'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson accepting BBC's Best Dressed Award - SEE VIDEO

A new clip of Robert Pattinson accepting his award for "Best Dressed Award" at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards has been released. Pattinson took time out of filming to send his British fans a video thanking them for the award.

As you can hear from the clip below the crowd went wild when he appeared on the screen.

Pattinson filmed the short thank you speech while filming in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where most of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" Parts one and two will be filmed. The footage was presumably recorded before Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and other members of the cast traveled to Brazil to film Bella Swan and Edward Cullen's honeymoon scenes.


In the message he tells the crowds that he's currently acting and on the set of "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn". The finished off the clip be apologizing for not being there and thanked his fans for the award again.

Prince William and Kate Middleton announce date and location for their wedding

Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton have set a date and location for their wedding next year having announced their engagement to the world just a week ago.

The couple will be wed in Westminster Abbey, in London, on April 29, according to a spokesperson for Prince Charles, William's Father.

"The royal family will pay for the wedding, following the precedence set by the marriages of the prince and princess of Wales in 1981 and Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip in 1947," said the spokesperson.

Westminster Abbey, a thousand-year-old Abbey in center of London, has been the favorite of royal fans, the media and bookies for the last week.  

British Prime Minister, David Cameron, also announced that the date of the wedding will be a national holiday.

He said "The wedding of Kate and William will be a happy and momentous occasion...We want to mark the day as one of national celebration. A public holiday will ensure the most people possible will have a chance to celebrate on the day."

Westminster Abbey was the obvious choice for the wedding. Founded in 960, the present Gothic church dates back to 1245, and since 1066 it has been the "coronation church", where kings and queens are
crowned. 

The Abbey has close ties to the current royal family. It is where Queen Elizabeth II married Prince Philip in 1947, where her father, King George VI, got married there in 1923 and it's where the funeral of William's mother, Princess Diana, took place there in 1997.

Alexander Burke just does not have time for love

British singer Alexandra Burke, who hit it big with her rendition of "Hallelujah" after appearing and subsequently winning the "X Factor" two years ago told reporters she is too busy with her career to fall in love.

Burke, 22, is hot stuff and has been known to rumble with the likes of Usher and rugby star Danny Cipriani but is flying solo at the moment.

Although she does admit she would love to have that someone special to cuddle up with for the holidays.

She explained: "I haven't got time for a boyfriend but love interests are exciting. Someone who can make me smile and understand my schedule. And shop for food with me and take me to see a movie."

Burke said she is so busy she doesn't even get to see her family that much, which she admits is very difficult.

"I miss my family and hope to buy a place near them at some point in the future when the fuss dies down.

"I spend so much time flying to Los Angeles or Paris or Tokyo or Sweden that when I get back to London I curl up with my pink teddy called Family - because they gave him to me when I was auditioning for 'The X Factor' - and my Yorkshire terrier and watch my box set of 'Friends'," she told You magazine.

The porn star Capri Anderson (Christina Walsh), who was with Charlie Sheen when he allegedly went on his recent drunken rampage in the Plaza Hotel in New York is suing the "Two and a Half Men" star for false imprisonment and distress.

The Irish American is set to file a civil complaint in Los Angeles today. Her attorney told Good Morning America, that she plans to file a police report with the NYPD against Sheen, where she will accuse him of threatening to kill her.

The adult film star alleges that Sheen wrapped his arms around her neck and threw a lamp at her which grazed her arm. After Sheen grabbed a make shift weapon, which may have been a letter opener, Walsh locked herself into the bathroom.

Walsh also claims that she never received the $3,500 she was due, for her appearance at a dinner with Sheen earlier that evening. According to GMA she did not expect to be paid for sex.

Walsh's attorney told the show that "a victim of abuse at the hands of a rich and powerful man."
In an interview following the controversy, Walsh said that Sheen texted her afterwards: "he apologized for is behavior and for the evening."

She also claims that Sheen attempted to bride her with money "to not talk to anybody," also in a text message.

Sheen or his agents are yet to respond to the potential lawsuit. His attorney Yale Galanter released a statement denying Walsh’s claims.

Bristol Palin is back in rehearsals after hate mail scare

Bristol Palin proved defiant when she returned to "Dancing With The Stars" rehearsals just a day after mail room staff discovered a letter filled with white powder addressed to dancing star.

The 20-year-old smiled for cameras yesterday as she made her way into the Hollywood dance studios dressed in grey leggings and a black hooded sweater.

Sarah Palin's daughter is preparing to compete in tonight's final with her partner Mark Ballas. Fans of the dancing show were outraged last week when singer Brandy was ousted from the show, despite receiving consistently higher scores from the judges than Palin.

Staff in the mail room of CBS studios in Los Angeles were on high alert Friday night after discovering the white substance in a piece of hate mail addressed to Palin.

“Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified,” a spokesman for television network ABC said at the time.

“Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel. Ultimately we were advised by the LAFD that the substance was determined to be talcum powder.”

Despite the nasty mail, Palin has remained upbeat and paid tribute to her fans over the weekend.

“Thank you supporters who continue to support,” she wrote on her Facebook page

Woman blamed for Eva Longoria's divorce partied in Dublin with cast of 'The Tudors'

Erin Barry, the woman who is being blamed for Eva Longoria's divorce, partied it up in Dublin with Tudor actors it has been revealed.

Erin Barry, who was formerly married to San Antonio Spurs player Brent Barry was last week named as the other woman in Tony Parker's life.

According to the Sunday Independent, Erin has spent a considerable amount of time in Ireland in the past two years and has enjoyed working relationships with a number of actors from the Emmy winning series "The Tudors". She has also starred in one episode.

Her Irish acting friends have expressed their shock at what has unfolded.

“She is really lovely girl and devoted mother. I'm shocked at this because all she talked about was her husband and her sons while she was here. She us your typical all-American girl, she is always up for a good laugh and went on nights out in Dublin with some of the gang from the series,” the source told the Independent.

“She is strikingly beautiful and turns heads where ever she goes. She had a lot of admirers during her time in Ireland but I never though she would be involved in something like this.

“We became close friends while she was here and I've heard she is in pieces over this. I feel really sorry for her that it is blown up like this. It must be a nightmare. I know she's in the middle of a divorce now from her husband Brent so it must be awful on top of everything else,” they added.

The actress can be seen in the first episode of the last season of The Tudors.

'Twilight's' Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: Just married?

Okay so I know coming up to the holidays people can tend to get a little bit wooly-headed but I thought I payed attention, at all times, to what was happening in Hollywood and especially what is going on with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

You can imagine my shock with when I saw the front cover of OK! Magazine.

The magazine says the Pattinson and Stewart took part in the private ceremony in Rio. The claim to have photographs for "the big event in Brazil" and  "their sexy Rio honeymoon".

By now you've probably guessed that my minor palpitations were unnecessary. They were of course talking about the nuptials between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, their characters in "Twilight" and not the actual actors. Phew.

‘X Factor’s’ Mary Byrne is back to herself thanks to Westlife - SEE VIDEO

On Sunday night, Dubliner, Mary Byrne was voted through to the next round of “The X Factor” thanks to Westlife.

The international superstar boyband, with hearts of gold, pain for Mary’s daughter Deborah to be flown over to London for the second weekend in a row to surprise her mother backstage.

“I walked into Louis Walsh's dressing room and there she was. We threw our arms around each other. I wasn't expecting to see her and it gave me the boost I needed to go out and sing my heart out," Byrne said on Sunday night.

Byrne performed George Harrison’s song “Something”, as covered by Shirley Bassey.

She said “I feel fabulous. That's the sort of song I love to do. I am a big woman and I love to have big songs belting out."

The week previously, sharp tongued judge, Simon Cowell had said Byrne was nothing more that a “pub singer”. But this week he was forced to eat his words.

He said “As annoying as this is, Louis did actually choose the right song for you…You sang it much better than last week. I tell you what, you have definitely got your confidence back."

Cheryl Cole, also a panel judge said “I think the beauty of you is that you sing with such experience because you've lived life."

Irish music mogul Louis Walsh, said “Mary's got her mojo back…Mary, I'm glad you've got your confidence back. That was very emotional, I believed every word. You love that song."

Byrne admitted that she had desperately missed her daughter. She said “I was missing Deborah terribly, especially around the time of my birthday, but I feel now I'm ready for the challenge ahead. In fact I feel like I'm ready to win.”

That is quite some statement given that Wahlberg has produced such monstrous hits as 'Entourage' on HBO, starred and been Oscar nominated for 'The Departed' and was a sensation in 'Boogie Nights' as well as 'The Perfect Storm.'

However, the up from the streets story of Irish Micky Ward mirrors closely his own Dorchester rough kid story he told '60 Minutes'

Lowell-born Ward is most famous for three epic fights against Arturo Gatti in 2002/2003 some consider the greatest boxing matches in living memory. Gatti has since tragically died.

Wahberg trained for four years to keep in shape for the film and Micky Ward was one of those who helped him get fit enough.

He revealed to '60 Minutes' that he did all his own fight scenes and got pretty bruised up on occasions.

Micky Ward was his idol growing up he said. "kind a like Larry Bird".

Wahlberg was a working class kid whose mother, Alma Donnelly raised him as a single mom after she divorced.

Often in trouble with the law, Wahlberg went to jail before straightening out his life.

On '60 Minutes' he praised Dorchester priest, Father Jim Flavin with helping turn his life around.

Wahlberg had his first breakthrough as Marky Mark, the rap singer (his brother was a member of 'New Kids on the Block') and was soon an international sensation.

It was Director Penny Marshall however, who turned his life around and got him into movies.

She wanted him for her 1994 movie 'Renaissance Man'

At first he told "60 Minutes" he turned her down. “I wanted to be the most serious rapper. Real guy from the street. That sort of thing. And she’s like, ‘You’re an idiot. You’ve been acting the whole time. You act like you’re a tough guy. You’re a sweet kid. Why don't you give this a shot.’”

When he did he became a star.

Now he is hoping for Oscar gold for 'The Fighter' which is due for a December release.

Meanwhile back in Dorchester, Father Flavin has a wonderful new school gym thanks to Wahlberg's generosity.

Demi Lovato makes contact with ‘Sonny with a Chance’ co-star from rehab

Demi Lovato has made contact with Sterling Knight, her co-star on Disney’s “Sonny with a Chance”.

The Irish American Disney actress, Lovato, is currently in rehab however Sterling in a recent interview with E! Online spoke briefly about his friend’s condition.

He said “She's doing well. She's in good spirits. I didn't want to bother her too much because I want her to get her rest. I know she's been overworked for a long time. I'm hoping she stays strong and gets through it.

"You'd rather nip it in the bud sooner than later. I know she's been real busy - almost entirely too busy for any human being, let alone a 17-year-old girl. It's nice that she's handling her stuff."

Apparently Lovato has decided that she will stay on at the enclosed facility for, at least, the next week to receive treatment. For now, it’s still not known if she will be out of rehab for Christmas.

Irish host moves in with New Jersey Rose of Tralee

The host of the Rose of Tralee, Dáithí Ó Sé, has moved in with his girlfriend, the New Jersey Rose, Rita Talty.

Ó Sé, the first Kerry man to ever present the Rose of Tralee, told the Irish Daily Star newspaper “I'm in a really happy place and so is Rita. Just really enjoying being together in Dublin.

"I hope there would be wedding bells at some place in the future. But the future is here to eternity."

Ó Sé and Talty represented New Jersey at the Rose of Tralee two years ago.
