The 32-year-old actress gave birth to the couple's first child in London on Thursday (30.05.13) and though they have yet to confirm the baby's birth or gender, friends told UsMagazine.com they are thrilled following the arrival of their baby girl.

Jamie Foxx was among the first of the high profile couple's Hollywood pals to offer his congratulations.

He wrote on Twitter on Sunday (02.06.13): "Big luv 2 my @WHD costar @channingtatum + wife @jennaldewan + their new baby. Welcome 2 the world little Tatum."

The pair - who married in July 2009 - has spent the last few months in London where Channing, 33, is shooting scenes for science fiction movie 'Jupiter Ascending'.

However, production is set to move to Chicago next month, while Jenna will also start work on Lifetime TV series 'Witches of East End'.

But an insider - who said Channing would be an "adorable" father - insisted the couple's child would by always be their number one priority.

The source previously said: "The baby will get top billing as far as priorities go.

"Channing is going to be the most adorable hands-on daddy ever and do whatever is necessary to make sure Jenna can balance it all."

The stars announced Jenna's pregnancy in back in December and since then, the couple haven't been above asking their friends for advice.

Recently it was revealed Channing turned to 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' co-star Sienna Miller for her words of wisdom.

She had said: "It's an on-going phone conversation, I've been helping him out a lot. We've got the same obstetrician, same everything."

Channing Tatum says pregnancy has turned his wife into an ‘animal’

Channing Tatum
Jenna Dewan-Tatum is expecting the couple's first child this summer and when asked how she is coping with her growing pregnancy bump, Channing made the unusual comparison.

He told E! News: "I mean, women just sort of turn into like animals in this sort of stage that they're in.
"She's a complete animal right now! You can ask her, but in the most beautiful like humanistic animal-y way.

You know she works out all of the time, eats right, impeccably right. She's just a machine."
Channing, 32, also revealed he is terrified but excited about the impending birth.

He added: "I mean, I don't think there's one thing that doesn't terrify you, but in the most unbelievably beautiful way. Someone said it's really like watching your heart jump out of your body and run around, and I think that can possibly be the coolest thing that I've heard of."

Meanwhile, Jenna revealed she has been having strange dreams about floating on a magic carpet since getting pregnant, and thinks her elevated hormones are to blame.

In a Twitter post, she explained: "OK my fellow preggars ladies about these hormonal dreams ... Is it normal to fly on a magic carpet while presenting at Golden globes?? Lol. (sic)"

The 32-year-old screen beauty her 'Magic Mike' star spouse on the set of 2006 film 'Step Up' and married him in 2009.

‘Magic Mike’ star Channing Tatum is worried about becoming a dad

Channing Tatum
Although the 'Side Effects' actor can't wait to welcome his first child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum this summer, Channing admitted he is scared he will mess up.

He told People magazine: “That [will] be the biggest role of my life. I hope I don’t screw that one up,
“I'm really, really excited about it and I hope to slow to down a little bit when the little person comes into the world.”

Channing, 32, has had a successful few years, winning praise for his roles in 'Magic Mike' and '21 Jump Street' and being voted People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive last year but the modest star attributes it all to luck and hard work.

He said: “Look, I’ve been lucky, I’ve said it before, we work so hard on every single [movie] and you never know which ones are going to work and which ones aren’t … I think it’s just, you’ve got to keep doing stories you love and characters that you love.”

Ben Affleck thinks Channing Tatum is "extremely sexy"

Affleck at the premiere of Argo
The 'Argo' star thinks the 'Magic Mike' actor is a worthy recipient of People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title this year - an honour he was awarded in 2002 - because he is a very attractive guy.

Ben told 'Access Hollywood': "I think [Channing] is deserving, and always has been.

"He's a very good guy and an extremely, extremely sexy man.

"I mean, what else can you say? Have you seen 'Magic Mike'? I think that said it all!"

Along with Channing, Ben has also been named one of GQ magazine's Men of the Year and the 40-year-old star - who has children Violet, six, Seraphina, three, and nine-month-old Samuel with wife Jennifer Garner - admits the cover picture of him to commemorate the honour is one of the few he is happy with.

Discussing the US magazine's cover, he said: "I never really like pictures of myself. But, you know, at least it's not horribly embarrassing, which is what I'm always worried about."

With Channing named GQ's Movie Star of the Year and Ben named Filmmaker of the Year, other, other previously-announced recipients of the honours include Rihanna, who is Obsession of the Year.

Channing Tatum has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine

Channing Tatum
The 'Magic Mike' star has been awarded the annual title by the publication and admits he thought they were "messing" with him when he got the news.

The modest actor, who is married to his '10 Years' co-star Jenna Dewan, told the magazine: "My first thought was, 'You are all are messing with me.' I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked. She was like, 'What?' "

Channing, 32, also revealed his wife has started to call him by his new title rather than by his name.
He said: "Yeah, she calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now. And who can blame her?"

Although Jenna, 31, is happy to be married to the Sexiest Man Alive she is adamant there is more to her husband than just his handsome looks and toned body.

She said: "People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don't know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is. He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get."

Channing also revealed he and Jenna, 31, are planning to start a family and he is keen to have lots of kids.
He said: "I'm ready; I think she's ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that.

"It's really easy for us guys to say, 'I want like 15 kids'. Jenna will be like, 'Well you better get another wife!'"

Other famous heartthrobs to make the top ten of People's poll include last year's winner Bradley Cooper, Liam Hemsworth, 'The Wire' star Idris Elba, actor Chris Evans, Jennifer Aniston's fiance Justin Theroux and Ryan Gosling.

People magazine will publish its full list of the 100 Sexiest Men Alive in their next issue which hits news stands.

Channing Tatum “challenged” by upcoming role in ‘Foxcatcher’ - VIDEO

Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum has certainly been putting his acting muscles to the test with his latest slew of films. The actor has called ‘Foxcatcher,’ which begins filming next month, his “hardest acting challenge” yet.

The LA Times spoke with Tatum, who was on the set of his current project, ‘White House Down.’

"It's going to be the hardest acting challenge I've had to date," Tatum said of ‘Foxcatcher’ which is set to begin shooting this month. “It’s a bit of a weird science experiment to put these guys up on the screen because no one really understands what happened or why it happened.”

‘Foxcatcher’ will tell the story of John du Pont and brothers Mark and David Schultz who were Olympic gold medalists in wrestling. In 1996, Du Pont, who sponsored the U.S. wrestling team, shot and killed Mark Schultz, lacking any evident motive. Tatum will be playing Mark Schultz, and is joined by Mark Ruffalo as David Schultz and Steve Carrell as Du Pont.

“What I love about a film like this is that it doesn't try to prove anyone wrong or right but just to understand the people inside them,” he said. “Du Pont didn’t start off a murderer and Mark Schultz didn’t start out as an Olympic champion. There are things in life that took them down that path.”

Currently, Tatum is working on the film ‘White House Down’ alongside actor Jamie Foxx. “It’s a lot of fun and all the things you want from a Roland Emmerich movie,” said Tatum of ‘White House Down,’ “But it’s also a movie about love, and the lengths my character will go to so he can have that.”

‘Magic Mike’ star Channing Tatum says he has a “responsible madness”

Channing Tatum

32-year-old actor Channing Tatum may be creating quite a name for himself in Hollywood, but insists that he is still the same “mad” person he’s always been.

The Belfast Telegraph reports on Tatum’s interview with Italian Vanity Fair. "The madness inside me has not died at all. Ask my wife Jenna [Dewan]. But now it's a sort of responsible madness," he said to Italian Vanity Fair.

"I still do things in front my wife and she screams, 'No, no, please.' For example, when I jump into the pool from the roof of the house.

"But we also do a lot of crazy things together like our adventures day. We just take the car and start going towards a random direction and see what happens."

"I wasn't a difficult teenager. I wanted to do extreme, dangerous, wild, things because I considered them to be simple experiences. And when I'd done enough, I realised that those experiences were not life, but only a part of it," he said.

Currently, Tatum is working on a new film with Jamie Foxx called ‘White House Down.’ Rumors are flying about a followup to his 2012 hit ‘Magic Mike,’ in which Tatum plays an exotic dancer, though nothing has been confirmed yet.

‘10 Years’ star Channing Tatum calls his wife Jenna Dewan his ‘baby’

Channing Tatum & wife  Jenna Dewan
The couple - who met on the set of 2006 film 'Step Up' and married in July 2009 - play couple Jake and Jess in upcoming film '10 Years' and Channing admits he enjoyed every minute he got to work with his spouse because he loves her so much.

When asked what makes Jenna the perfect co-star, Channing replied: "Because she's my loved one. She's my baby. I mean, I'm with her all the time, might as well just turn the cameras on."

Jenna insists it was relatively easy for her and Channing to portray their characters because they are couple in real life.

In a joint interview with the US edition of OK! magazine, she said: "I guess it was easy. We're playing a couple that has been together for quite some years, playing a boyfriend and girlfriend that have been together for a while, that chemistry was obviously already there.

"We have a very playful energy together in real life and I think we sort of just injected that into Jake and Jess and we didn't put too much pressure on it, to be honest."

The film sees a group of high school friends meet for a 10-year reunion - only to realise that they haven't grown up since graduating.

Channing, 32, and Jenna, 31, attended a '10 Years' lunch on Sunday at the Hotel Chantelle in New York City with the rest of the cast to promote the movie.

Following hoax, Channing Tatum confirms he is alive and well

Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum
Internet mischief-makers set their sights on Channing Tatum this weekend after spreading rumors that the actor had died during a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.

WetPaint reports that Global Associated News ran a short story confirming Tatum’s death on Saturday. The article falsely read that “Witnesses indicate that Channing Tatum lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed.”

It continued, “Channing Tatum was airlifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death.”

Presumably catching wind of the spreading rumor, Channing Tatum took to his Twitter (@channingtatum) to disprove the falsities. “On set in Montreal. Alive and well. :-)” Tatum is currently filming a new movie, ‘White House Down,’ with Jamie Foxx.

Easy on the eye - Channing Tatum

Ahead of premieres for his latest film, ‘10 Year,’ actor Channing Tatum is getting in shape for his upcoming role in ‘Foxcatcher,’ which recounts the true story of the murder of Olympic wrestler David Schultz by John du Pont.

On Sunday, Tatum (@channingtatum) tweeted: “Training for #Foxcatcher... RT @cungle185: "Wrestling Drills with @channingtatum going great!” along with a video of his wrestling practice.

Tatum is currently training with boxer Chung Le to prepare for his role. It isn’t the first time that Tatum had to be in tip top physical shape for a role - earlier this summer he starred in the male-stripper film ‘Magic Mike,’ which, of course, called for a killer physique.

‘Foxcatcher’ is directed by Bennett Miller and stars Mark Ruffalo and Steve Carell along with Tatum. No release date has been made official yet.

George Clooney and Channing Tatum - Hollywood’s newest bromance?

 Channing Tatum and George Clooney

Move over, Brad! Channing Tatum and his wife were recently spotted strolling around George Clooney’s Italian playground with Clooney’s beau Stacy Keibler. Has George got a new bromance brewing?

The Examiner reports that Channing Tatum, star of the recently released ‘Magic Mike,’ and wife Jenna Dewan have  been recently photographed on George Clooney’s boat and heading out to dinner with Clooney and Stacy Keibler. However, the couple’s Italian foray seems to be the stuff of gal pal goodness instead of bromance.

A source said to E! News that Jenna Dewan and Stacy Keibler have “been friends for a long time. Jenna and Stacy are very good friends." The two even celebrated this past Cinco de Mayo together with margaritas, and sat together front-row at Fashion Week.

Channing Tatum and  wife Jenna Dewan, who are celebrating their third wedding anniversary, are reportedly vacationing in Italy for the time being and staying with Keibler and Clooney. They have double dated for dinner and have taken Clooney’s boat out, which has played host to many of Hollywood’s A-Listers.

Channing Tatum's worst stripping job was dressing as a clown

Channing Tatum in "Magic Mike"
The hunky actor - who plays an erotic dancer in new movie 'Magic Mike' - previously worked as a stripper and was dismayed when his boss told him he had to put on a comic outfit for a routine, and despite his protests that it wouldn't be sexy he was made to go on stage anyway.

He told 'Access Hollywood': " [I had to wear] a clown outfit - true story, not making it up. It was the worst idea that I had heard - and I had heard some bad ideas and seen some bad skits!

"I was like, 'Clowns aren't sexy - if anything they're scary. Why is this gonna work? 'And they were just like,

'Nah, nah - it kills, bro. It kills, bro. They're gonna love it.'

"I danced to, like, '99 Red Balloons' or something, I come out and ... crickets. Crickets. People didn't know if it was a joke [or] if it was supposed to be for real. No one cheered, no nothing. That was the last night I did that. I was like, 'What did I tell you?!' "

Wearing a Boy Scout uniform to perform while his sister and her friends sat in the audience was also a low point for the actor.

He explained: "[It was] my first night of stripping and my sister and six of her friends came my first night up, which was horribly mortifying. My sister didn't watch, but all her friends watched, all in the front row, and I'm just like, 'This [Boy Scout routine] is the worst idea ever!' But the clown was the worst of all."

Channing Tatum's wife is "proud" of his nude scenes in 'Magic Mike'

Channing Tatum
The hunky actor plays a male stripper in film but spouse Jenna Dewan-Tatum is far from worried about other women staring at his naked body when the film appears in cinemas.

She told E! News: "I was prepared. I knew what was coming, but I think the movie is amazing. I'm happy for people to see it. He's so good in it. I'm just so proud."

Channing, 32, and Jenna - a model and actress - met on the set of dance movie 'Step Up' and she admitted one of the things that originally attracted her to him was his moves.

She added: "I'm a dancer, I grew up as a dancer and he's an amazing dancer.

"But there were moments in that movie where I was like, 'I gotta give it to you - I could not have done that. That was amazing.'"

Channing used to be a male stripper in real life, but admitted it was nowhere near as glamorous as it is made out to be in the film.

He said: "You're just a guy taking off his clothes, looking like a fool in a stupid outfit.

"I never enjoyed the taking-the-clothes-off part. You are on a stage with people yelling at you and you feel like you're a rock star, but you're nothing."

'Magic Mike' also stars Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey and is in cinemas next month.

Channing Tatum shocked Rachel McAdams by sporting a fake penis on the set of the "Vow"

Channing Tatum
The ‘Vow’ co-stars were shooting a scene where Rachel’s character – who has lost her memory – sees her husband, played by Channing, naked and the actor decided to play a practical joke on Rachel by having the props department make a huge prosthetic penis for him to wear.

Rachel told Stella magazine: “Channing got the props department to make a prosthetic member. Literally a fake penis. I didn’t know what to do. I thought, ‘Is this the real deal?’ It was very realistic. It was ridiculous, the scale of it.”

Rachel, 33 – who lives in Toronto - is currently dating British actor and her ‘Midnight In Paris’ co-star Michael Sheen and admitted they have to make a huge effort to make their long-distance relationship work.

She explained: “Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart – we rack up a lot of air miles – but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not. Trying to establish roots somewhere is a bit of a joke.”
