George Clooney never wears the same pair of socks twice

Clooney and Keibler at the Oscars

The 'Descendants' actor is obsessed with having fresh footwear and so after he has worn a pair he gets rid of them.
However, charitable George doesn't throw them away and instead has them washed and then donates them to a homeless shelter.

A source told the new US issue of OK magazine: "George has his dirty socks washed and then donates them to a homeless shelter. He just has a thing about wearing the same pair twice."

George - who is dating former WWE wrestler Stacey Keibler - is not the only celebrity obsessed with clothes.
However, not all stars want to get rid of their garments.
Singer-and-actress Vanessa Paradis finds comfort in her clothes and she finds it hard to get rid of items, even when they start to suffer damage.

She previously said: "I love to be comforted by clothes.
Obviously you want to look in the mirror and like what you see but I need to love what I feel. I need to feel comfortable in terms of sensation. I keep everything. It's not a good thing because you drown under your closet, but some things are really important to me, especially the stage clothes."

Jennifer Aniston enjoyed a cosy double date with George Clooney

Jennifer Aniston hangs out with her old
pal George Clooney
The 43-year-old 'We're The Millers' star reportedly shared a private dinner with the 51-year-old 'The Descendants' star - who is her ex-husband Brad Pitt's best pal - and their partners Justin Theroux, 40, and Stacy Keibler, 33, in Mexico on Thursday night.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six that the couples dined at the luxurious El Dorado resort together, where they are all currently on holiday.

The insider revealed that they are also planning to attend the resort's exclusive end of year beach party.

The couples were last spotted together in June, boarding a private jet in Switzerland.

Prior to that George had not been spotted out with Jennifer for several years following her divorce from Brad, 49, in 2005.

George and Stacy shared a private jet with Brad and his fiance Angelina Jolie in January for a flight from Los Angeles to Palm Springs.

However Stacy and Angelina apparently didn't get on well.

A source previously said: "Angelina refused to acknowledge that Stacy was even on the plane. Angelina went out of her way to ignore her, from takeoff to landing. She would not even look Stacy's way. She was not having it!"

George Clooney's sister doesn't think he will ever marry again

George Clooney
The 51-year-old actor - who was wed to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993 - has been dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler for over a year but his older sibling Adelia Zeidler believes her brother will always be more committed to his career than his relationships.

She told In Touch Weekly magazine: "George will probably not get married. He decided that he could have the career or he could have a family. He set goals for himself and worked hard to achieve those goals. He's very happy with his life."

While Adelia says Stacy, 33, is "very nice", she revealed George rarely talks about her.

She explained: "He'll tell me little things that are going on but mostly we just gab about inconsequential matters."

George has previously admitted his reluctance to marry has made people think he is gay, but he doesn't let the speculation upset him.

He has said: "I think it's funny, but the last thing you'll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying,

'These are lies!' That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community.

"I'm not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I'm very happy in it.

"Who does it hurt if someone thinks I'm gay? I'll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don't give a s**t."

George Clooney is a ‘good kisser’ says Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radziwill

George Clooney
The Hollywood hunk reportedly enjoyed a fling with ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star Carole Radziwill in the past and while she tried to remain coy on the relationship, she did admit he was a skilled
romancer.

After seeing her in a bikini on holiday, Carole’s friend Sonja  Morgan said: “Look at the ass on Carole. No wonder Clooney did her for a year.

Carole then tweeted: “I don't kiss and tell but if I did tell I'd say Clooney was a very good kisser... But I’m not saying... just saying.”

George is currently dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler, who has said in the past he is the perfect boyfriend and never puts demands on her to look glamorous, despite his star status.

The loved up blonde gushed: “George is always happy with everything that I wear. He doesn't care whether I'm dressed up or down.

"I could never be the girl that has to put my hair and make up on and
do my hair before I go out the house."

George Clooney thinks he’s going to hell when he dies

George Clooney

As one of Hollywood’s leading A-listers, George Clooney is beginning to reflect on his life in his older age.

Now Magazine in the UK reports that Clooney said to the Sunday Express’s S Magazine: “I was watching Up In The Air [a film of his from 2009] and I thought: ‘Jesus, who's the old grey-haired guy?’ I never wear make-up for movies and now it's starting to show.”

“But I'm kind of comfortable with getting older because it's better than the other option, which is being dead. So I'll take getting older.”

“Well, I know that when I die I'm going to hell,” Clooney also said.

Some may say that Clooney’s got a living still left to do - in the marriage department, in particular. The perpetual bachelor who boasts a long string of relationships with beautiful beaus is currently dating 32 year old Stacy Keibler.

Recently, rumors began circulating that the two may be headed for the altar after Keibler’s parents were on hand in Italy visiting the couple, an indication that Clooney and Keibler’s relationship is still growing stronger.

George Clooney and Channing Tatum - Hollywood’s newest bromance?

 Channing Tatum and George Clooney

Move over, Brad! Channing Tatum and his wife were recently spotted strolling around George Clooney’s Italian playground with Clooney’s beau Stacy Keibler. Has George got a new bromance brewing?

The Examiner reports that Channing Tatum, star of the recently released ‘Magic Mike,’ and wife Jenna Dewan have  been recently photographed on George Clooney’s boat and heading out to dinner with Clooney and Stacy Keibler. However, the couple’s Italian foray seems to be the stuff of gal pal goodness instead of bromance.

A source said to E! News that Jenna Dewan and Stacy Keibler have “been friends for a long time. Jenna and Stacy are very good friends." The two even celebrated this past Cinco de Mayo together with margaritas, and sat together front-row at Fashion Week.

Channing Tatum and  wife Jenna Dewan, who are celebrating their third wedding anniversary, are reportedly vacationing in Italy for the time being and staying with Keibler and Clooney. They have double dated for dinner and have taken Clooney’s boat out, which has played host to many of Hollywood’s A-Listers.

George Clooney and Brad Pitt catch up over dinner in London

George Clooney and Brad Pitt
The Hollywood actors went to the Pazzia eatery on the outskirts of London, which has a reputation for fine food .

Apparently 'The Ides of March' actor, George, ate seafood pasta and drank gin-and-tonics.
It is not known what Brad ordered but he was drinking martinis.

An insider told website E! Online: "They were so polite to the waitress and giggling away. They were relaxed as if it was their local restaurant, like normal people."

The Berkshire restaurant was thought to be chosen as it is close to where Brad and Angelina Jolie are leasing a house while she shoots Disney movie 'Maleficent'.

George had recently spent at his Lake Como, Italy home with girlfriend, former World Wrestling Entertainment star Stacy Keibler.

George treated his pet dog to a spa day last week.

'The Descendants' actor owns a black cocker spaniel mix Einstein, who he enrolled in local pet grooming centre Comodog.

'The Descendants' actor is currently holidaying in Lake Como, Italy, with his girlfriend Stacey Kleiber and black cocker spaniel mix Einstein, who he enrolled in local pet grooming centre Comodog.

While there, Einstein reportedly got the works, a bath, a haircut and even a massage, according to Peoplepets.com

Einstein has also joined his owner on the boating lake, as well as enjoying the Mediterranean weather.

George rescued his pet from a shelter in Los Angeles, and when he first got him Einstein was overweight with dry eye and an underactive thyroid, and had been living in a "filthy, crowded dog run."

George said he won the dog over the first time he met him, through the clever application of some meatballs.

He said: "I start to panic that Einstein is not going to like me. So I run into the kitchen, where I have these turkey meatballs, and I rub them all over my shoes.

"This woman opens the door, and who knew Einstein was such a food w***e on top of everything? He throws himself at my feet."

Bill Clinton thinks Brad Pitt “too good looking” to play him in movie, picks George Clooney

Bill Clinton and George Clooney
Former president Bill Clinton has his eyes set on George Clooney to portray him in a film if a biopic about him is ever made. Clinton made an appearance on Thursday on CNN’s ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ to chat with guest host Harvey Weinstein.

Clinton chatted humorously with Weinstein about his choice of George Clooney instead of other Hollywood A-Lister Brad Pitt. Pitt is “too good-looking” said Clinton, and opted for Clooney, with make-up of course.

“He’s good looking, but, you know, you could put bulbous things on his nose and you could do makeup with him,” said Clinton of Clooney playing him in a film.

Clinton went on to praise Clooney for his award-winning performance in 2011’s film ‘The Descendants’ by saying “He was so good in it, so real.”

Clooney’s no stranger to play politics in films. He received rave reviews for his turn in ‘The Ides of March,’ in which he played a presidential candidate.

And for Hillary Clinton? Bill picked multi-Oscar winner Meryl Streep to portray the first lady.

While there’s no definite plans yet for a biopic to be made, Clinton was portrayed by Dennis Quaid in HBO’s 2010 film ‘The Special Relationship.’ And, like many other presidents over the decades, Clinton has been numerously parodied on NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live.’

Do you think Clooney would make a good fit for Clinton?

Stacy Keibler was a cheerleader at a basketball game between US President Barack Obama and George Clooney

George Clooney and Barack Obama
The former WWE star admitted that she got actively involved in the sports match when her boyfriend, Clooney, hosted a star-studded fundraising dinner in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Following the event, which raked in $15million for Obama's re-election campaign, actor Tobey Maguire joined the pair for the playoff.

She told People: "I was a cheerleader on the side. George and Obama were on the same team, so they both [won]. It made it easy."

Stacy also said it was "an honor" to have organized a fundraising event for the American leader.

She added: "To have the President at our house was such an unbelievable honor. I would say that there is such an energy and a presence, and I felt almost speechless."

Obama is expected to attend a benefit thrown by actress Eva Longoria and entertainer Ricky Martin in New York City on Monday (May 14).

'Glee' co-creator Ryan Murphy has also said that he will host a dinner for the politician who recently announced his support of gay marriage.

Rumor mills in County Cork claim George Clooney has started his Irish vacation

George Clooney (Francois Durand / Getty)

There were rumors floating around Cork a few days ago claiming that George Clooney finally made good on his promise to motorcycle around Ireland.

The lovely town of Cobh in particular was trending as a “Clooney in Ireland” Twitter topic, and according to the Cork Independent, women flocked to the town when “sightings” of the Oscar winning hunk were reported.

The Irish Sun even nabbed one excited fan who claims to have run into Clooney at a Titanic memorial in the town. “We couldn’t believe our eyes when George Clooney walked in,” the unnamed fan said.
“There were a few double takes before people realized it was really him. But he was really nice.”

Really? The Independent doesn’t seem to think Clooney was in the vicinity at all, nor do any other members of the Irish media who didn’t report his presence at all. And a verifiable George Clooney sighting in Ireland would definitely make front page news.

“The rumor was all over social networking site Twitter and it may all have been a canny marketing stunt by some enterprising Cobh people,” reported the Independent.

No doubt Clooney will make Irish women swoon in person at some point.  And in addition to hanging with his friend Bono while in Ireland, he’d also have a place to rest his head with Colm Meaney, the Dublin actor who says he’s good pals with George.

“I’ve been friends with George for years, since I went out to Hollywood in the early eighties. Both of us were starting out in LA and doing the audition circuits and I used to meet him at the same castings for the same parts, if you can believe that,” Meaney told the Irish Sun.

“We used to hang out at the same parties and he crashed on my couch a few times.  He’s honestly one of the nicest men you will ever meet in your life, I can understand why no one has a bad word to say about him.

“It’s funny to think we went for the same roles back then, you wouldn’t think it looking at us. They must have been casting on a very broad level.”

George Clooney has compared himself to Elizabeth Taylor - Used his celebrity to highlight Sudanese crisis - VIDEO

George Clooney being arrested
The 'Ides of March' actor was arrested for civil disobedience in Washington last week alongside his journalist father Nick and other protesters after a demonstration outside the Sudanese Embassy and George says he learned from an early age that celebrities are more newsworthy than humanitarian crises.

He told 'Fox News Sunday': "I saw my father in the 1970s doing really good stories and then getting bumped because there was a Liz Taylor story that was going to be out. And the story that he did that had real some social value was going to get bumped.

"I said to my dad, 'Remember how you used to get all your stories bumped by Liz Taylor or something happened in Hollywood?' And he said, 'Yes.' I said, 'Well, let's go to Darfur. And you be the newsman and I'll be Liz Taylor and let's get it on the air.' And he said, 'OK.' "

George is trying to draw attention to the accusation that Sudan's president, Omar al-Bashir, is provoking a humanitarian crisis and blocking food and aid from entering the Nuba Mountains from South Sudan and admitted he had some close calls when he travelled to the country to film the atrocities.

Speaking about being shown an unexploded bomb by a local man, he explained: "Well, the bomb one was funny because the guy said, 'You want to see?' And we're standing on top of this bush, he pulls back the bush, and there was a bomb. Oh, there's a bomb.

"And so he kept messing with the bush and I thought, maybe don't hit it with the stick too many times, you know? So, we were glad to get out of there."

Here's the Telegraph's report on his arrest:

George Clooney “didn’t know” he wasn’t allowed to “hang out” at the Sudanese Embassy

George Clooney being arrested
The ‘Ides of March’ actor was arrested for civil disobedience in Washington earlier today (16.03.12) alongside his father Nick and other protesters after a demonstration outside the building aimed at drawing attention to the accusation that Sudan's president, Omar al-Bashir, is provoking a humanitarian crisis and blocking food and aid from entering the Nuba Mountains from South Sudan.

However, George has now been released after several hours and has since made light of the situations.

Talking to reporters, he said: “It’s on my permanent record. And you know that picture’s going to be all over everything. Listen, what we've been trying to achieve today is we're trying to bring attention to an ongoing emergency.

“Our job right now is to try to bring attention to it, and one of those ways was, apparently, get arrested."

His father interjected: "I guess we're not allowed to hang out at the Sudanese Embassy, I didn’t know that.”

George responded: “I didn’t know that either.”
He added he was unsure what his arrest would mean, but hoped it brought people’s attention to the plight of the tens of thousands of people without food in the African nation.

He said: “The real danger of course is there are people dying everyday there, tens of thousands of people are going to die of starvation. That's man-made. This isn't a famine, this is a man-made tragedy.
"You never know if you're going to accomplish anything, all we're trying to do is bring attention to a moment. We hope this brings attention to it."

But George says that when they do get to meet, he has nothing but admiration for the 'Moneyball' actor - who is raising six children with partner Angelina Jolie.

The former 'ER' star - who is dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler - told The Advocate: "Not only do I enjoy him as a person and respect his talent, but I also love what he does in the world. 'Ides of March' star George Clooney admits to being lonely

Georgre Clooney
The 'Ides of March' actor - who is currently dating ex-wrestler Stacy Keibler - has confessed he has a "very tough time" nodding off, and often feels alone when attending public events.

He said: "Turning off the television causes me to think, and once I start that vision roaring, I have a very tough time getting to sleep. I'm able to numb out. Without question, I wake every night five times."

"Anyone would be lying if they said they didn't get lonely at times. The loneliest you will get is in the most public of arenas: You will go to a place and end up in the smallest compartment possible, because it's a distraction to everybody, and you end up not getting to enjoy it like everyone else."

However, the 50-year-old star - who has previously dated a host of beauties, including Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis and British presenter Lisa Snowdon - explained he has felt "infinitely more alone" in bad relationships in the past.

Meanwhile, George admitted he has previously been through the "painful" experience of trying to get a former flame back.

He explained: "[I've been] left for someone; all those things. And it was sometimes a surprise, and sometimes you saw it coming. The most painful was when I kept trying to get one woman back. But we all make dumb mistakes."

George Clooney offered to babysit for Brad Pitt's six children - only if Pitt wins a best actor Oscar

Brad Pitt and George Clooney
The 'Descendants' star – who has famously said he doesn't want kids – is up against Brad for the prestigious accolade and the pair have made a bet with each other on the outcome, according to the National Enquirer magazine.

If Brad – who raises six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with partner Angelina Jolie – takes home the prize for his role in 'Moneyball', George will have to take care of all the kids for the night so he and Angelina can go out.

But if George wins, Brad will work a full day as a deckhand on George's yacht in Italy's Lake Como.

George has previously said seeing Brad and Angelina with their brood of children has put him off fatherhood for life.

He said: "Even one kid running around my villa makes me nervous, so I'm definitely not a candidate for father of the year!

"If I need to surround myself with children and feel like I have this big extended family, I can always call Brad and Angie and ask them to stay with me, just to remind me why I'm so happy without."

George Clooney does not consider himself to be father material

George Clooney
The 50-year-old actor - who is currently dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler - says he realised he was not destined for fatherhood when he told a group of children to "shut the f**k up".

He said: "I love the 1962 drama To Kill A Mockingbird and I put it on in my screening room for them but all the children began complaining it was in black and white and would be boring.

"So I said to them: 'Shut the f**k up! That's why I shouldn't be a parent."

The Oscar-nominated 'Descendants' star admits that his lack of paternal ways even extends to his movies.
