The 'Sopranos' star - who is survived by his wife Deborah Lin and their daughter Liliana, eight months - suffered a fatal heart attack  and his friend has vowed to return an old favour.

James had helped his former 'Get Shorty' co-star when his autistic son Jett died at the age of 16 after a seizure in 2009 and now his friend revealed he will look after his family, including son Michael, 13, from his first marriage.

Speaking on 'Good Morning America', he said: "My goal is to make sure his family is OK. His little boy, I watched him grow up, and his brand new little girl. We'll just make sure they're taken care of."

The pair also starred together in 'Lonely Hearts' and 'The Taking of Pelham 123', and the 59-year-old actor revealed their long-standing friendship.

He added: "My father sold tyres to his father. I was his inspiration to get into the business."
He also spoke kindly of James' kind nature when Jett passed away.

He revealed: "James went out of his way to come to Florida and he would not leave Florida until I was OK, or he felt that I would be fine.

"After a week I said, 'Jim you can really, you can, you know, we'll be fine. I've got a lot of support here.'

"But the idea that in our profession someone would go out of their way and not want to leave you until he felt you were OK, that's the kind of soul that James Gandolfini was."

The actress and actor have teamed up to record a Christmas album - the first time they have worked together since starring in 1983 film 'Two of a Kind' and 34 years since they appeared in 'Grease' - and she insists their bond is really strong even though they don't see much of each other.

Speaking to British TV show 'Daybreak', she said: "We don't see each other often because we both have our own lives and things, but it's like picking up where we left off, so we've stayed in touch over the years.
"We always have a great rapport with each other and it's always very comfortable. We got together to go over the songs and it was like nothing had ever changed."

'This Christmas' features a host of festive classics such as 'White Christmas', 'Deck the Halls' and 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' and Olivia says John really helped her get to grip with the tracks in the recording studio.

She added: "He sounds great on those songs and loves them and knows them backwards and I felt very comfortable with it."

The two stars are donating all artist proceeds from the album equally to their respective charities, the Jett Travolta Foundation for children's disabilities and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.

The 'Grease!' actor - who has children Ella, 12, and Benjamin, two, with wife Kelly Preston - says the sweet drink reminds him of Christmas, and he loves the way different varieties from around the world have very different tastes.

He said: "It represents winter wonderlands, it represents Christmas. I've collected various types of cocoa from around the world."

He then showed talk show host Ellen DeGeneres a number of different types, explaining how Brazilian cocoa powder has a "hint of cinnamon and pepper" which differentiates it from types from other countries.
However, a seemingly unimpressed Ellen replied: "Smells like chocolate."

John, 58, went on to explain that people should be careful how they handle cocoa powder because any impurities from air or touch can affect its quality.

He said: "Never blow on it. Like a fine wine, it changes the quality of the chocolate. So, never, ever blow on it."

John was appearing on Ellen's show to promote his festive album with Olivia Newton John, 'This Christmas'. All proceeds from the record are going to charitable causes.

And the actor's share of the money will benefit the Jett Travolta Foundation - named in memory of his autistic son who died aged 16 after suffering a seizure in the Bahamas in January 2009 - and he hopes the organisation can support people dealing with similar conditions, as well as other handicapped and underprivileged kids.

He explained: "Autism and seizures are the least known areas of illnesses and I feel bad that there's so many people dealing with this and there are no answers for. So, I felt like starting a foundation that will help that. Plus, I widened it. It's also for handicapped children and the handicapped Olympics. It's also for underprivileged children. So I widened my purpose a bit there, too."

Olivia - who survived breast cancer - will give of all of her proceeds to her eponymous Cancer and Wellness Foundation.>

"And after three years of getting a lot of support from the church and a lot of support from people - fans and family - I decided that it was OK to go back to work.

"Because I even thought of retiring at one point, because it just felt like too much."

John - who is making his acting return in new movie 'Savages' - admits he is still impressed by his "extraordinary" career achievements.

He added in an interview with 'BBC Breakfast': "'Grease!' and 'Saturday Night Fever' were the number one and two records in history until Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' came along.

"So for five years we held the crown for one and two! It was pretty extraordinary. And still I think that 'You're The One That I Want' [from 'Grease!'] is the biggest duet in history."

Robert Randolph wrote 'You'll Never Spa In This Town Again,' in which he makes claims the 'Pulp Fiction' actor enjoyed gay sexual relations in Los Angeles' City Spa in the 1990s.

His lawsuit claims John and his lawyer Marty Singer had falsely claimed he had serious mental problems and had spent time in a psychiatric hospital, to try and make him out to be an unreliable source and prevent other media and booksellers writing about or carrying his tome.

Both John, 58, and Marty have issued statements branding the lawsuit "ridiculous."

A representative for the 'Hairspray' star said: "The lawsuit filed by Robert Randolph is absurd. The suit is based on a privileged communication, and it will promptly be thrown out by the court.

"To evaluate the credibility of Robert Randolph and his ridiculous lawsuit one need look no further than his own statements published on his website stating that he sustained 'permanent brain damage' and had to 'retrain' his brain."

Marty echoed these claims, saying: "We intend to sue the attorneys for malicious prosecution after the court promptly dismisses this baseless lawsuit."

John - who is married to actress Kelly Preston - has been dogged by a number of claims of sexual misconduct, some of which have since been retracted, from a number of male masseurs since the publication of 'You'll Never Spa In This Town Again.'

John was among a number of stars, including Jack Nicholson, her brother Warren Beatty, and Morgan Freeman, in paying tribute to Shirley, 78.

The 'Hairspray' actor has been the subject of accusations from a number of male masseurs, with two filing lawsuits against him, and though the proceedings were later dropped, his legal representatives are said to be working on a financial agreement with one of the men.

A source told RadarOnline.com: "John Travolta's lawyer is currently in settlement talks with one of the accusers. The goal is to have a settlement reached very quietly and quickly because John just wants this scandal to go away.

"No money has been paid yet, but it's almost a done deal. It will be an out of court settlement and John Travolta's name won't even be in the agreement to ensure complete confidentiality, along with a clause that states if the man ever goes public with his story, he will be sued for at least twice the amount of the settlement."

The accuser currently in negotiations with John's team claim he was groped by the actor within the last two years, which is within the limitations of being able to file a civil lawsuit, which he is prepared to do if a settlement isn't reached.

The source added: "If the accuser who is in talks with John's lawyer right now is unable to reach a settlement, he is absolutely prepared to file a lawsuit against him.

"The man isn't intimidated by John's celebrity status and just wants the actor to be held accountable for his actions."

John - who has children Ella Bleu, 12, and 18-month-old Benjamin with wife Kelly Preston - has vehemently denied the allegations against him.

The 49-year-old actress is said to have told friends she has "had enough" following a string of allegations against the 'Pulp Fiction' star of sexual misconduct from a number of male masseurs, and the publication of pictures the star dressed as a woman at a private event in 1997.

A source told the National Enquirer magazine: "Kelly told me their marriage is over and made it clear that she's no longer living in the family home.

"She's put up with John's double life for decades while his behavior remained in the shadows.
"But all this coming out in public has humiliated her. Kelly is absolutely destroyed."

The photographs, which were obtained by National Enquirer, show the 58-year-old actor at a party in Los Angeles wearing a white dress with a bra visible underneath, a brown belt, fur stole, earrings and a necklace, and wears eyeliner, pink lipstick and a blonde wig.

John's lawyer Marty Singer has strongly denied the claims from four masseurs that the actor behaved inappropriately when they visited him at separate times.

A man known only as John Doe #2 dropped his legal team just two days after John Doe #! dismissed his lawsuit.

However the 'Saturday Night Fever' actor's legal representative insists the masseurs were not paid any sum of money back down, if even temporarily.

Marty Singer, told TMZ: "Not one penny has been paid nor do we have any intention to pay any money for these ridiculous and false claims."

The first accusers quit his case after pictures emerged of the 'Grease' star in New York on January 16, the date he was alleged to have behaved inappropriately with a worker in a Beverly Hills hotel.

A receipt which proved Travolta ate at a Mr Chow restaurant in the city helped back up that he 2,475 miles from the location he was stated to be in by the accuser.

John Doe #2 - has parted ways with lawyer Okorie Okorocha but may still pursue his case against the actor having hired a new attorney, Gloria Allred.

Ms. Allred told CNN:  "We believe that the lawsuit should be filed in another court and, therefore, the lawsuit that was on file was dismissed without prejudice."

The 49-year-old 'Jerry Maguire' star, who will reach the milestone age in October, said she would love to be pregnant again.

Speaking in a television interview with Amanda de Cadenet she revealed expanding her family help her expand her heart.

She said: "I always wanted to have more kids. I feel like I would even have another child, but it might be pushing it. I'm not afraid to love and to love deeply. My kids help me with that.

"They open up your heart so much. There's nothing like the love of a child. It's the greatest thing ever."

The fourth male to date to claim the 'Grease' actor has behaved inappropriately with him is a gym employee who says he groped and fondled him against his will, according to RadarOnline.

Travolta's lawyer Marty Singer told the website: "As a result of the published lies about my client we expect some 'John Does' to come out of the woodwork and assert false claims."

The legal representative added that he has not yet been contacted by an attorney representing the fresh accuser.

The previous three men comprise of John Doe One, a masseur who has recently hired Gloria Allred to represent him after being dropped by his previous attorney.

There is also an Atlanta based masseur, who is being represented by Okorie Okorocha and Chilean-born former cruise line employee, Fabian Zanzi.

The gym personal trainer claims he would open the venue for the screen star when he was on location for a film shoot, after hours.

A close source said: "The gym was opened as a courtesy to John Travolta so that he could avoid the public yet maintain his fitness in this physically challenging role that he was doing at the time. The gym employee says that John Travolta groped and fondled him against his will."

Travolta has been married to actress Kelly Preston since 1991.

The couple's oldest child, Jett, died in 2009. They have two other children, daughter, Ella Bleu, and their toddler son, Benjamin, born in 2010.

Kelly - who also has daughter Ella, 12, and son Benjamin, 18 months, with John - admitted she still grieves for her son, but is thankful that she is able to be happy again.

Speaking on 'The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet' - in an interview filmed before sexual assault claims were recently made against her husband - she added: "I've had enormous loss. Nobody should have to lose a child. It's unfathomable. But I'm here to say that you can get through it. You can live again. You can want to live again....

"There are still things that come up, for sure, but I am able to live. And to want to live. I can laugh. I'm - for the most part -happy. That's the greatest gift ever."

Benjamin was born in November 2010 and Kelly admitted she had some concerns about having another child, but says he and Ella help her to love more - and she won't rule out having more kids.

She added: "Having another child after this experience - we had to think about it, especially this late in life.
I always wanted to have more kids. I feel like I would even have another child, but it might be pushing it."

"I'm not afraid to love and to love deeply. My kids help me with that. They open up your heart so much. There's nothing like the love of a child... it's the greatest thing ever."

Chilean-born Fabian Zanzi alleges the actor – who is being sued for $2 million apiece by two male masseurs who claim he sexually harassed them after they were hired to give him massages – "hugged" him, asked for a massage and offered him $12,000 for sex while Fabian was working on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship in 2009.

Fabian – who was in charge of taking care of VIP guests on the boat – says he refused John's offer.

South American news website ABC.es quotes Fabian as saying:  "He had something on his neck. I thought it was a fuzz. As I approached, he took off his white coat and was naked. He hugged me and asked me to do a massage."

Fabian claims he reported the incident to his supervisors but they didn't believe him and he was eventually fired from the ship.

John vehemently denies accusations of sexual assault from the two masseurs - and the first accuser, known only as John Doe #1, has since called for people to wait for a court ruling before taking sides and says he has no ill feelings towards the star.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, he said: "As the unidentified masseur in the John Travolta case I have an opinion that I wanted to share.

"I don't think anyone should form any opinion about Mr. Travolta, his family, his counsel, myself, John Doe #2, and our counsel. Instead, I would urge everyone to understand that guilt or innocence in our Justice System is decided by our court system. Too often these matters are decided by swaying public opinion through elements that would never be considered in an actual court case.

"Even though Mr. Travolta and his counsel are on opposing sides in this matter, I do wish them good health, happiness, and want them to be judged with absolute fairness as our great nation affords all citizens regardless of their wealth or station."

John - a devout Scientologist - has been married to Kelly Preston since 1991. Their oldest child Jett died in 2009 at the age of 17 and they have two other kids Ella Blue, 11, and 23-month-old Benjamin.

The 'Pulp Fiction' star's attorney Marty Singer has slammed the second anonymous male masseur who has reportedly made a sexual harassment claim against the 58-year-old actor, and the lawyer describes the two accusations as "totally false and fabricated".

John vehemently denies both claims by the two masseurs, who are said to be represented by the same lawyer and seeking $2 million in damages from the 'Grease' star.

According to a statement obtained by TMZ.com, Marty explained: "This second “anonymous” claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one.

"The attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of his second anonymous client, who does not want to disclose his name although he is required to do so, was notified that his first client’s claims were totally false and fabricated, since our client was not in LA when anonymous “Doe #1” claims he interacted with John Travolta.

"That fact is easily provable since John Travolta was on the east coast working on a movie on the date that anonymous “Doe #1” claims he interacted with our client.  After we were able to establish that anonymous “Doe #1’s” claims were totally absurd, the same attorney has now filed a claim on behalf of another plaintiff, whom he identified as “Doe #2.”  Significantly, although the same attorney made the fabricated claim for Doe #1, there was never any claim made by anonymous Doe #2 before he filed his specious lawsuit.

"Before the attorney for the two anonymous plaintiffs filed the claim on behalf of the second person who refuses to disclose his identity although required to do so, it is obvious that he checked media reports that my client was in Atlanta working on a movie.

"However, the claim by Doe #2 is just as fabricated as the claim by Doe #1.  Our client will be fully vindicated in court on both of these absurd and fictional claims."

A second masseur has claimed that he was sexually assaulted by “Pulp Fiction” star John Travolta.

Hollywood star and famed Scientologist’s lawyers say the second man, who filed the suit with the same lawyer, had clearly drawn up the case after the star's legal team destroyed the first case.

The first masseur to attempt to sue Travolta, referred to as John Doe in court papers, is attempting to sue him for allegedly sexually assault. The actor’s spokesman says these claims are baseless lies.

He continued, “On the date when plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast…John intends to get this case thrown out and then he will sue the attorney and plaintiff for malicious prosecution.”

However, the masseur claims that Travolta rubbed his legs, touched his genitals and tried to initiate at least one sex act during his one hour appointment on 16th January, at his private bungalow, in a Beverly Hills Hotel.

Reports in the New York Post state that Travolta’s aide set up the appointment. Travolta picked up the masseur, in a black Lexus, and drove him to the hotel for a $200-an-hour massage.

The court case accuses Travolta of assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Doe says he told Travolta he did not have sex with clients. He maintains Travolta was persistent and offered to perform a sex act on the masseur.

The aviation enthusiast - who is a qualified pilot - and his wife Kelly Preston were left devastated in 2009 when 16-year-old Jett died after hitting his head during a seizure while in the Bahamas and John has decided to pay tribute to him by bequeathing a G-2 Gulfstream executive jet to the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame at the Museum of Aviation.

Chrissy Miner, spokeswoman for Robins Air Force Base, told the Telegraph newspaper in Macon that the plane is being prepared for a static display for an upcoming air show scheduled for April 28 and 29 and will then be towed to the museum.

Following Jett's death his parents set up The Jett Travolta Foundation, a non-profit organisation which has given away approximately $56,000 since it was set up.

Those who benefitted include a Scientology detox charity in Ocala, Florida, which received $2,500, the Starlight Children's Foundation and the No Limits Limbs Loss Foundation, who were both granted $5,000 each.

A further $2,500 was given to the Marion County Sheriff's Foundation while other donations included $250 to the Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Foundation - an affliction causing loose joints and hyperelastic skin - and $2,500 to the Central Florida Community College for a scholarship in Jett's memory.

Scientologists John and Kelly have two other children - Ella Bleu, 11, and 14-month-old Benjamin.

The 'Pulp Fiction' actor's 1970 automobile was stolen in September when he visited a Jaguar dealership in Santa Monica for 10 minutes, but it has now partially been recovered.

Sgt Richard Lewis, who was investigating the theft, revealed: "It was not recovered in whole. It was chopped. We have numerous pieces recovered but not the entire car."

Two men have been arrested for the crime - D L Rayford Jr. pleaded no contest to grand theft auto earlier this month, while Michael T. Green has pleaded not guilty to two counts.

Rayford has been ordered to pay John $50,000 in restitution and has must serve 16 months in jail, while Green remains in Jail without bail.

Speaking last year, John - who is also a qualified pilot - admitted he was glad it was not his private jet that got stolen instead.

He joked: "I was looking for Jaguars, and it was a beautiful, spotless dealership and I left it parked on the side.

"And eight to 10 minutes later, my car was gone. And it's like that movie, 'Gone in 60 Seconds', like, who can explain it?

"But at least it wasn't a jet, though that might be easier to find."

"I lost 39 lbs, have more energy than I had 20 years ago - and I feel amazing. I'm going to be turning 50 next year - holy s**t! Hey, 50 is the new 30."

Along with her delight over her weight loss, Kelly revealed the couple are besotted with Benjamin and can't believe he is already one year old.

She said: "We just celebrated Ben's first birthday. I can't believe it's already been a year."

Kelly and John's eldest child, 16-year-old Jett tragically passed away three years ago when he suffered a seizure while on a family holiday in the Bahamas and the actress - who also has a daughter Ella Bleu, 11, with her spouse - has previously revealed Benjamin has helped the entire family to cope with their loss.

She said: "It's been wonderfully healing. Of course, you know, we still - it's still every day. But it's been, I think, a really nice gift for a lot of people throughout the world.

"We've gotten the most beautiful letters. And the most beautiful notes of happiness. And I think - just sort of a sigh of relief, a bit. And that's been really nice to sort of share that with people."
