Irish band Original Rudeboys turn down supporting Chris Brown in Dublin after domestic violence charges over Rihanna beating

Acoustic hip hop trio the Original Rudeboys claim they turned down an offer from the 'Turn Up The Music' singer to support him at Dublin's O2 arena in December as they don't want to be associated with the R&B singer because of his violent assault on his on-again/off-again girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

A member of the group Sean Walsh said: "Even though it's a huge opportunity to play in the O2 with a major hip hop star and a substantial fee was offered, we are completely against Chris Brown's assault on Rihanna."
The group also claimed they didn't want to mislead their own fans as their latest single 'Blue Eyes' is about domestic violence.

Sean said: "In addition, with our latest single 'Blue Eyes' being about domestic violence it goes against everything we are about as a band and supporting Chris would send out the wrong message to our fans."

Chris - who recently rekindled his romance with the 24-year-old popstar despite still being on probation for assaulting her  - is due to perform at Dublin's O2 arena on December 3 as part of his European Tour.

The 23-year-old singer is reportedly planning to attend the 'Diamonds' singer's star-studded Halloween party in Los Angeles tonight.

Rihanna has splashed out $100,000 and offered to cover the entire bar tab for the bash but is concerned Chris's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran might show up uninvited.

Fans of Rihanna know all too well the Barbados beauty has no fear about stripping off in front of the cameras.

But they may be surprised to hear the 24-year-old is said to have used a body double for an Armani jeans advertisement she filmed earlier this year. The woman who stepped in in her place is none other than an Irish beauty of equal measure.

According to The Sun, Irish model Jahnassa Aicken also stars in the Armani ad dressed in a pair of designer underwear. But the sexy brunette was sworn to secrecy from speaking about her work as Rihanna’s double.

“Jahnassa’s torso, body and bum appear in parts of the ad,” a source told the newspaper.

“It’s shocking Rihanna wanted one considering she loves posing with no clothes, plus she’s in great shape.”

The ads shows Rihanna dressed in black lace underwear lying in a large double bed on her own. Seemingly distressed by a nightmare, the shot then cuts to her jumping out of bed before as she slips into a pair of Armani jeans and a leather jacket.

Some of the close up shots are said to be the Irish model who is signed to Style Academy Model Agency.

According to the newspaper Aicken was first spotted by Rihanna’s management when she
appeared in the star’s ‘We Found Love’ music video, which was shot in Northern Ireland.

The 'You Da One' hitmaker thinks the pop heartthrob - who is a member of the British boy band alongside Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - has star quality and is very "sure" of himself.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "Harry, yeah. I watch their videos and I remember thinking, 'Wow, he's a star.' He seems very sure. It seems, like, it's so natural to him."

The group are currently staying in the same hotel as the singer in Sydney, Australia , and the boys are trying to find Rihanna - who is Down Under to promote her new movie 'Battleship' - so they can introduce the pair.

A source said: "The boys have been desperately trying to find her. They've been trying to work out what room she's in from her twitter pictures of her view."

However, Rihanna is not the only international superstar who is keen to get to know Harry - who previously dated TV presenter Caroline Flack - better.

Taylor Swift also gushed about his good looks to pal Justin Bieber at the recent Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.

A source claimed: "Taylor is a huge One Direction fan and was excitedly bopping along to the boys when they performed on stage. Then she was chatting to Justin and told him how hot she found Harry.

"Justin was joking about trying to keep his own girlfriend, Selena Gomez, away from the band because she too loves them. Taylor went backstage and was hanging around by the group's dressing room and said a quick 'hello' to the guys.

"She started dramatically fanning herself afterwards making out like she was overwhelmed which got everyone laughing. She really likes Harry but made Justin promise not to go on the record about it."

The 24-year-old singer  - who was spotted making a midnight visit to Ashton’s house last week – did not try to hide her disgust when a journalist for British television network ITN quizzed her about the rumored romance.

At a London press conference for Rihanna’s new movie ‘Battleship’, the female reporter asked: “You're so good at connecting with people that I think that we actually feel we know you. Things are clearly going brilliantly in your career. I just wondered if you are as happy in your private life, and will we see a certain Mr. Ashton Kutcher perhaps making a trip over here?”

Reports surfaced last week claiming Rihanna started seeing Ashton – who split with wife Demi More last November – eight weeks ago after swapping numbers at a Los Angeles house party.

She is said to be so serious about the 34-year-old ‘Two and a Half Men’ star – who separated from wife Demi Moore last November – that she has taken him to meet her brother Rorrey in New York.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Rihanna and Rorrey, who releases music under the name GQ, are close so him meeting Ashton is a big deal.

"Rihanna clearly thinks things between them are serious."

Meanwhile Demi – who recently left rehab after reportedly being treated for addiction and an eating disorder – is now said to want him out of her life for good.

“We Found Love” singer Rihanna has admitted that she’s sick of being single and has a huge crush on Irish actor Liam Neeson. The 24-year-old singer who co-starred with Neeson on in the action movie “Battleship” said she was star-struck when she learned he was on set.

She sold the Sun “The first day Liam was on set, I was crazy nervous because I've loved him for years.

"He was amazing in “Schindler's List” and so sexy in “Rob Roy”, I've always had a crush on him.

"He's so tall and manly — what woman doesn't have a crush on Liam Neeson?

"So I was basically hiding out in my trailer, asking for more make-up to be done, just stalling as much as I could. Like, I wanted to meet him but I was so scared.

"We're finally introduced and I'm completely speechless — I don't even know what I said, if it was English — and I'm looking down at my shoes."

The singer was totally blown away when Neeson asked if he could have his photo taken with her.

She said “I still hadn't said anything and he says, 'Rihanna, would you mind if I got a photo with you? My sons will kill me if I don't because they're such big fans.'

"And I'm like, 'Eh, well only if I can get a photo with you.' And, no joke, when he left, I was like jumping around with my friend, we were like two little schoolgirls.

"But then I had to act with him in a scene and be real bad-ass and disrespectful. Now I should get an Oscar for that."

Rihanna said that despite breaking the ice she found it very difficult to act in their first scene together.
She continued “God, it was awful. I thought the director would fire me after it but Liam was so calming and lovely.

"He was cracking jokes and pulling faces and that just really relaxed me into it.

"After that, everything went pretty smoothly and I don't know if I could have done it without him. He's such a great guy."

The role on “Battleship” also afforded her the opportunity to cover up and wear an outfit that wasn’t revealing. She said “I wear the same outfit throughout the entire movie, and I'm literally covered from head to toe in this army outfit.

"I've never been so comfortable in my life. I would definitely consider wearing this on my next tour, I think it's hot.”

Regardless of her sartorial decisions she believes that working on the action sci-fi move has made her more capable of looking after herself. She said “I learned all these combat fighting moves, and how to take down a guy twice my size.

"Seriously, I am a bad ass. Nobody will ever mess with me.”

The movie, “Battleship”, directed by Peter Berg is based on the Hasbro board game of the same name. It follows the story of a fleet of ships forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

The movie’s set to be released in the US on 18th May 2012.

Last month DUP Councilor and Bangor farmer, Alan Graham, asked Rihanna and her crew to stop filming of her video “We Found Love” after the pop star stripped off on his land. Having seen the finished the deeply religious man hopes that Rihanna can learn to enjoy a good life by “enjoying God’s salvation in her life.”

The video includes Rihanna involved in drug taking, stealing, bathing with the boxer/model Dudley O’Shaughnessy, taking drugs and, oddly, vomiting up ribbons.

Part of the video was filmed in Graham’s fields, in Bangor. However he called a stop to filming when Rihanna stripped off and frolicked around his land.

Having viewed Rihanna’s new video Graham gave his reaction to Journal.ie. He said he wasn’t particularly shocked by the content of the video.

The story of Graham asking Rihanna and her crew to wrap up filming, as he did not approve of her behavior, was covered by press outlets around the world. Graham told Journal.ie that he was genuinely shocked by the public interest.

He said “I never dreamt that the issue would develop into a worldwide story. I didn’t anticipate that. I suppose it was because I requested the filming to stop and because of the worldwide status of Rihanna, that’s why the story became something worldwide. I must say that I respect Rihanna and I care for Rihanna – perhaps a lot more than those who want her to make these videos.”

The deeply Christian farmer added “I simply want her to enjoy life and have a good life, and I believe that can only come through her enjoying God’s salvation in her life.”

Referring the drug taking scenes in the video he said “Some people think there are issues with a superstar showing that example and perhaps rubbing off on young people. I think there is a case there.”

Graham is also worried that the impression Rihanna is giving to the public through her pop star persona is not her true personality. Having spoken to the pop star while she was on his land he said “My encounter with her, and the respectful conversation I had with her and she had with me, [means] I am hopeful that is not her when she is doing these things, but I don’t live in that world.”

He continued by referring to the “big picture” and what kind of a message music videos, such as Rihanna’s, are sending to young girls.

He said “I would just prefer that the bigger picture is that there wasn’t this need for young ladies to take their clothes off and so on and so forth in the name of entertainment…I don’t mind ladies at all – I enjoy their company and conversation, but I want to respect them and I want to take care of them.”

Reports are emerging that Rihanna has found love of her own with amateur Brit boxer Dudley O’Shaughnessy while in Belfast.

It’s been exciting few days for Rihanna this week so far in Northern Ireland. First, she was given the boot off some farmland in Bangor, Co. Down during her filming for her upcoming video for ‘We Found Love.’

Then, she attracted crowds as well as police escorts in the New Lodge area of Belfast during a second day of filming.

Now Rihanna hand-picked boxer-turned-model O’Shaughnessy to play the lead opposite her in her video for ‘We Found Love.’ Evidently, Rihanna is putting a literal spin on her new tune.

O’Shaughnessy, an amateur boxer, is 21 years old, two years Rihanna’s junior. He was scouted in his hometown London while riding the tube, and was reportedly “delighted” to give modelling a try. Seems that Rihanna is equally delighted.

"Rihanna was making no secret that she fancied the pants off Dudley. They hit it off straight away," a source told the Sun. "She had seen his modelling shots and other pictures when he was a boxer."

“Rihanna took every opportunity to get close to him and at one point she was sitting in his lap during a break from filming,” the source tells The Sun.

Rihanna’s continuing her tour of Ireland this week with three sold-out shows in Belfast’s Odyssey Arena, and another night on Monday at Dublin’s O2 stadium.
