Lindsay Lohan's father is being sued on 'Judge Alex' later this week

Michael Lohan is being sued by Celebrity Boxing Federation promoter Damon Feldman for failing to fight in an organised match and will appear on the televised courtroom series on Friday.

In a new promotional clip from the reality TV series, he said: "Actually I didn't intend on being here but I was brought here by Damon Feldman, he is suing me for giving me advances for boxing matches I did and not being able to appear because on one occasion I just had a colon operation and I wasn't able to fight and the other one was I actually got arrested."

Damon claims Lohan owes him $5,000 for failing to show up at several boxing appearances in Florida and California, stemming from their agreement in 2009.

Michael is set to appear on the show, which was filmed in September, alongside his pregnant girlfriend Kate Major, who admitted she is "excited" to appear on the legal series and will act as a witness.
The 52-year-old confirmed he plans to counter sue Damon on the show.

He said: "I'm counter suing Damon because although I didn't want to, I could have brought him to court myself but I didn't, but there were occasions where Damon was supposed to be pay me for different events and payments from pay-per-view and I never got the money.

"I don't have it in writing but he has a verbal agreement with me. I'm still contemplating not suing him, I have filed for it but I believe in God and the bible and the bible says don't sue your brethren so I'm praying on it now and we'll see what happens."

Following a failed intervention attempt hosted by her father Michael Lohan, troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan is reportedly looking to make it legal that her father has to stay away from her.

The New York Daily News reports that Lindsay Lohan is looking to put a restraining order in place against her father after he attempted to give his daughter an intervention. Lindsay’s mother Dina is on her daughter’s side, citing that her ex-husband Michael has been using Lindsay’s fame for his own gain.

"This sole act by my ex was not an intervention nor was this extreme antic sanctioned by any member of Lindsay's family or her professional team of handlers," Dina told TMZ.

However, TMZ obtained correspondence that proved that Michael Lohan was not alone in his attempt to give Lindsay an intervention. According to emails and texts, Michael was working with Lohan's manager, Evan Hainey, her entertainment lawyer, Dave Feldman, and her criminal defense lawyer, Shawn Holley.

"She is AGAIN, taking pills to keep her up and to sleep (addeall)!! I even know that she is and was drinking during work as far back as Liz and Dick!" the concerned father wrote in an email obtained by TMZ, dated Sept. 23.

"I am asking you to PLEASE PLEASE find a way to get her to LA toward the end of the first week of October or the beginning of the second so we can do an intervention and FINALLY end this madness!"

Hainey, Lohan's manager, responded that he was "hearing the same things," and Holley, the actress' lawyer, agreed with Michael's plan: "Let's do it."

"Her team and I staged an intervention, but she resisted," Michael Lohan told the Daily News. Lindsay called the police when her father showed up, and well-known interventionist Earl Hightower “abandoned ship.”

The patriarch told RadarOnline that there is trouble brewing between the parents of the former Disney star and her siblings.

After hearing that Dina Lohan - the mother of Lindsay, her sister Ali and brothers Cody and Michael - is starring in a reality show, Michael ranted about her participation.

He said: "Are you kidding me? She's out of her mind. What is she trying to do the same to someone else?
Her reality career is in full drive? Please? She just lied about that too! First, producing a movie starring my son Michael, then a cameo on a show, then her own show!"

Michael said that his ex-wife should not take credit for their children's skyrocketing careers as they did the work themselves.

He continued: "She brought OUR kids to many levels of success? Please, Lindsay is the talented one; she did it on her own. And as for Ali, her beauty got her in the door! Dina never made it in the modeling or entertainment business!

"If she accomplished anything, Dina destroyed the kids by lying to them and alienating them from me after the divorce!"

Michael said it is his ex-wife who is treating their daughter poorly, and had harsh words for her.

"You have no idea what she has done TO Lindsay. And if she doesn't keep from pulling her crap and using Lindsay, the TRUTH will be proven and come out!"

Michael Lohan claims the troubled actress is no longer taking any illegal substances but says medicine provided by her doctors prevented her from showing her true acting ability when she performed on the comedy sketch show in March.

However, Michael insists he convinced her to stop taking prescription medication ahead of her recent 'Glee' cameo and believes she is now once again showing her potential.

He told Celebrityviplounge.com: "I have to say this...on 'SNL', Lindsay was not using any illicit drugs or drinking but she still is on prescription drugs that they gave her. And the meds that they give her are meds that they say she needs, but she doesn't need them. But they kind of make her flat. She's not acting at a full potential. It's like the screen is down over her.

 "And now when she did 'Glee' I said, 'Linds, get off the damn medication and let people see who you really are.' And for a couple days before 'Glee', she went off this stuff. And there were tears in my eyes when I watched 'Glee'. THAT was Lindsay. Yeah that was her acting. That is Lindsay Lohan at the 'Parent Trap', 'Freaky Friday' and 'Mean Girls' potential. That is what she was."

In 2010 Lindsay's probation papers indicated she was on antidepressants Zoloft and trazodone, stimulant Adderall, Nexium for acid reflux and painkiller Dilaudid for dental problems.

Miaow. It's clash of the Irish Americans as Michael Lohan, father of the troubled starlet Lindsay, lashed out this week at Rosie O'Donnell.

Lohan was responding to O'Donnell's rejection of his daughter's fitness to play Elizabeth Taylor in a new biopic.

O'Donnell is in no position to bash Lindsay fumed Lohan senior, countering that Rosie's a washed-up failure at life and she only stayed famous because she adopted a bunch of kids.

Lohan  told TMZ, 'Who the hell is Rosie O'Donnell to judge anyone, especially Lindsay, who has far more talent than Rosie ever had?'

'Lindsay's talent isn't limited to being a comedian or getting notoriety for adopting and raising a bunch of kids. Sure, she has her pitfalls, but she is 25, and how old is Rosie?' (50, if you're wondering).

Lohan added: 'Two failed talk shows, a failed marriage, etc. He/she who is without sin, may they cast the first stone.'

Rosie tore up the 'Today' show on Tuesday morning, claiming Lindsay hasn't made a single good film since she was 16 and simply isn't capable of portraying Liz Taylor in her new movie.

After Michael was taken to hospital last month, a source said: "Michael started to feel light headed during his meeting so he walked outside, and that's when he collapsed."

He was taken in an ambulance to Palm Beach Gardens Hospital where doctors found another blood clot in his lung. He also had to be rushed back to hospital just hours after his heart surgery in early December when he was found to have a bacterial infection.

The showbiz patriarch – the dad of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was taken into custody by police in Tampa, Florida in the early hours of this morning after officers responded to reports of a fight in an apartment.

Before being booked into Hillsborough County Jail, Michael was taken to St. Joseph's hospital after complaining of chest pains when he was arrested.

Bail has not yet been set.

Police have not yet identified the victim, but local reports say she has also dated reality TV star Jon Gosselin.

Journalist Kate Major previously dated the 'Jon and Kate Plus 8' star and was romantically involved with Michael, though they ended their relationship several months ago.

In March, 51-year-old Michael was arrested for allegedly assaulting Kate, with police reporting he had attempted to choke her and injured himself to prevent her calling for help.

Last July, Kate accused Michael of attacking her at their home in Southampton, New York, claiming he threw her off a chair and kicked her in the face during an argument.
