Kate Hudson finds Lea Michele a ‘nightmare’ on the ‘Glee’ set

‘Almost Famous’ actress Kate Hudson is shooting a six-episode arc on the hit show 'Glee' and while she loves hanging out with the rest of the cast, insiders claim she finds Lea trying.

A source told Us Weekly: "Kate says Lea is a nightmare. Once, during a technical delay, Lea snapped her fingers and said, 'Let's go. I have plans!'

"Kate's keeping her distance."

However, Lea insists she and Kate have a great relationship. A representative said: "Lea has had a great time with Kate."

Other guest stars this season include Sarah Jessica Parker after network Fox vowed the show - which experienced a drop in ratings last season - is "poised for a creative renaissance" when it returns in a
new Thursday night slot later in the year.

Fox's entertainment president Kevin Reilly explained ‘Glee’ will become a "show within a show" following some of the McKinley High graduates as they attend a New York performing arts school, as well as introducing "some new faces" at the main Ohio educational establishment.

The ‘Glee’ co-stars – who have been dating since Lea split with her boyfriend Theo Stockman in February – are reportedly planning to set up home together at the actress’ $1.4 million pad in Los Angeles.

A source told Star magazine: "Lea is telling everyone she's never felt more sure about anything. She's ready for it all, starting with living together and planning their future."

The couple are said to be serious about each other and Lea previously admitted she would only ever consider a relationship with him if it was the real deal, because she didn’t want to ruin their friendship.

She explained: “I think if [an on set romance] was ever going to be an issue, it would have happened by now. I mean, for me, if it was going to happen with anybody, it would have happened with Cory. The moment I met him, I thought, 'This boy is very cute.' But he's like my big brother. He's such a great friend, and I am so happy working with him every day. I'm glad nothing has ever happened because it would have ruined something if it didn't work out."

The actress – who plays Rachel Berry – has returned to work after the holidays along with the rest of her castmates to start filming the next episodes of the musical TV drama and they have been joined by the 'Livin' la Vida Loca' singer.

The 40-year-old pop star is shooting a cameo in the series, and so far he has proved very popular with Lea and the other 'Glee' regulars.

She wrote in a series of posts on twitter: "Back at work! Starting our next episode with my old friend Ricky Martin!

"Having so much fun on set with Ricky! He's seriously the sweetest and such a great fit for our show!"

Lea, 25, also revealed she first worked with Ricky in a stage production of 'Les Miserables' 16 years ago.

In another tweet, she wrote: "I've known Ricky since I'm 8 years old! He was in Les Mis on Broadway with me in 1996! Crazy huh?! (sic)"

'Glee' is renowned for attracting big name stars onto the show, including Gwyneth Paltrow - who played substitute teacher Holly Holliday in multiple episodes - and Britney Spears, who appeared as herself.

'Glee's' Lea Michele thinks Ashton Kutcher is 'the hottest guy'

The 'Glee' beauty stars alongside the heartthrob actor – who recently split from his wife of six years Demi Moore – and she has confessed she "freaked out" when she found out she would be working with him on the film because he is totally out of her "league."

Lea – who separated from Broadway actor Theo Stockman in September after a 17-month relationship - told New York Magazine: "I didn't mention Ashton's name just because, I gotta say, I kinda felt like he was a little out of my league.

"You know, this guy's like, the hottest guy, and then when they called and said that Ashton was doing it, I was really freaked out. I thought I should have picked someone else and said, 'You have to use this person!' so I wouldn't have been nervous.

Ashton also enjoyed filming scenes with Lea where the pair are stuck in an elevator and found her to be great company.

He added: "I think what makes her great for this particular role is she has this passionate aspiration and I think that she's able to express that really cleanly."
