Jenny McCarthy has a crush on 'Silver Linings Playbook' star Bradley Cooper

The 40-year-old blonde beauty thinks the 'Silver Linings Playbook' star - who was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2011 - is a hunk and she wants to invite him onto her upcoming VH1 chat show so she can meet him.

She said: "He's (Bradley) my number-one crush. I'm hoping he'll be a guest on my show."

Unlike Bradley who is dating Zoe Saldana, Jenny is currently single and is planning on being on her own for a little while because she thinks she wasted too much time and energy on ex-lovers when she could have been focusing on her own needs.

The 40-year-old star - who has a 10-year-old son Evan from her marriage to actor-and-director John Mallory Asher and was in a five-year relationship with Jim Carrey - knows she is the "best damn girlfriend" a guy could have and she wants to wait for a man who deserves her.

Speaking in the January 2013 issue of Shape magazine, she said: "I've gone on some dates, but I'm really taking a time-out for me at the moment. One thing I realised in my past relationships is that I'm the best damn girlfriend ever. I put so much energy into my boyfriends and their needs. If I gave myself that same kind of attention, who knows where I'd be at my life at this point? So for now, I'm putting everything I've got into my talk show and being a great mom."

Her new series 'The Jenny McCarthy Show' - which is aimed at adults and on which she has promised to be her "true, dirty self" - will air in 2013.

The 39-year-old model - who has posed for the men's magazine six times - believes nudity is very prevalent in modern day society and is not worried her 10-year-old son Evan will see the pictures of her without clothes on.
She said: "I think he can find a lot worse available on the Internet these days.

"I think people make such a big deal sometimes about it, when I feel like it just comes down to how you raise your child and how you explain things to your kid."

However, Jenny - who is currently dating sports star Brian Urlacher - is coy about showing off the images in her home and does not like to display them for all to see.

She told People.com: "I don't have one magazine cover up, period.

"I mean, I don't even have my Rolling Stone cover up. It's like, who wants to look at themselves? I don't. Seriously, the only picture I have up of myself is one of a shark eating Evan and me."

The 39-year-old mother of Evan, 10, revealed that she had shared a naked image with the pediatric dental expert when she was feeling panicked.

During an appearance on Tuesday, the Love in the Wild host, 39, regaled the audience with an embarrassing story about accidentally sending racy pictures to the wrong person via text message.

She said on 'The Wendy Williams Show': "It's horrific to remember. [My son] woke up and was like, 'There's this weird thing on my gum.' I saw this abscess sticking out from his gum and I was like, 'Oh my gosh, that's disgusting!' So I called the dentist and I was like, 'This is insane.' He's like, 'Take a picture and send it to me.'

"I went to the bathroom and I was shoving my iPhone in his mouth. I'm taking a picture of it and I'm sending it to the dentist and I sent him a nude on accident! I swear to God!"

The picture was intended for Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, 34.

She added: "The dentist is, like, 80 years old. I literally screamed at the top of my lungs. Is there an app? Like, 'Uh-oh! I Effed Up!'"
