Troubled ‘Happy Days’ star Erin Moran to dump husband for lesbian lover

Happy days aren’t here again for troubled actress and former ‘Happy Days’ star Erin Moran.

The New York Post is reporting that Moran was recently rambling at a local bowling alley that she was ready to leave her younger husband, Steve Fleischmann, to run away and fall in love with a woman.

“Erin was blabbing to everyone about how tired she was of Steve riding her coattails and how she just wanted to run away and fall in love with a woman,” a friend of the actress said to the National Enquirer.

On the same evening, Moran was reportedly downing shots of tequila and blabbing to anyone who would listen to her.

“Then she told everyone that Steve stays with her only because she’s the breadwinner,” the source said.

Moran, who is now 52, is best remembered for her role as darling Joanie Cunningham on ‘Happy Days,’ and for the brief spin-off ‘Joanie Loves Chachi.’

The actress has since fallen on hard times, reportedly bouncing around trailer parks and low-end motels for housing.

Henry Winkler has come to Erin Moran's rescue after reports that she was living in a trailer park in Indiana. "Happy Days" star, who played the incredibly cool "The Fonz" is said to be in talks to find Moran a new acting gig on "Arrested Development".

The latest reports come from the National Enquirer. A source told them "Henry is absolutely shattered over what’s become of Erin. He desperately wants to help get back back on her feet.”

Winkler plays the recurring role of the Bluth family's bumbling lawyer.

Moran, who played Joanie Cunningham in "Happy Days", had been living in her in-law's parents Berkshire Pointe Mobile Home Park in New Salisbury, Indiana. However she had been kicked out because she was partying way too hard.

Happily the actress had some luck this summer when a lawsuit with CBS was setting, over "Happy Days" memorabilia.

Moran's lawyer Jon Pfeiffer said that despite the fact that she's bouncing around from motels and friend's couches she seems in good spirit.

He said "She sounded normal. She sounded [the same] as when we met throughout the case

"There’s no indication anything was wrong with her."

Erin Moran, famous for her role as younger sister Joanie Cunningham on the 70s sitcom ‘Happy Days,’ has found her life far from glamorous after her acting career has all but disappeared.

The Daily Mail reports that the former actress has been kicked out of a trailer she was sharing with her husband and his mother for her “hard partying” ways. Moran has since been seen parking lot and motel hopping.

A source said, “Erin was going out to bars and coming home at all hours of the night, sometimes with her rowdy bar friends, and Steve's mom just couldn't take it anymore.”

Since the wrap of ‘Happy Days’ in the early 80s, Moran went on to film a spin off show with Scott Baio in ‘Joanie Loves Chachi,’ which was cancelled early on.

With her career never bouncing back after ‘Happy Days,’ Moran has only appeared on VH1’s ‘Celebrity Fit Club,’ the 2008 film ‘Not Another B Movie,’ and a few other small guest spots. Otherwise, her acting career has ended.

The haggard and slightly confused looking Moran was spotted wandering around a parking lot in Indiana as recent as two weeks ago. She and her husband Steve Fleischmann are understood to be surviving off of a small payout that she and her other co stars received after suing CBS for a contract breach.

Don Most, Anson Williams, and Marion Ross, plus the estate of Tom Bosley, who died in 2010, filed a $10 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against CBS, which owns the show. Having won, each person received about $65,000.
